Shradow
It's a shame that the blessing on his armor cuts out later in the second game and you can just kill him easily with a Hammer during the Endgame. (Yay for Vanguard Ike being able to wield axes. Ragnell and Urvan, anyone?)

Shradow
Could you possibly just have one file at the final mission, beat it, save over another file, and keep beating that file and saving onto another so you're still at the final mission? I haven't gotten that far in awhile, so I've forgotten.
Supreme Gamesmaster
I haven't played Fire Emblem in forever, and I only have 2 of the games: "Fire Emblem" and "Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones", both for GBA. Even though it's been like 2 years since I played Sacred Stones, I still remember the fun I had playing it. The first Fire Emblem was just freakin' tedious. Sacred Stones was so much better for me IMO. My best file ended up pretty awesome. All characters were in their upgraded classes (with the lowest Level unit being somewhere around Lvl 16 or something like that) and I had some marriages going on O.o (For some reason my favorite was Seth and Eirika xD) But yeah, I had quite the fun time in Sacred Stones. If I have nothing better to do in a few days I might just play it again.
Huh. Really? Eirika/Ephraim or Eirika/Tana were my favs; Seth and Eirika didn't have much chemistry IMO. (Actually, that's one of my leat favourite supports. :/) But yeah, FEVIII was FTW. It and FEVI are definitely my favourite games in the series. I highly doubt the developers wouldn't have foreseen Shradow's suggestion and planned around it. I'm guessing it counts the number of finished files started by the player. TheComposer
One of my favorite series. I own both GBA games, and I have played Path of Radiance thanks to a friend who let me borrow it. As for favorite characters (skill wise): Fire Emblem: My favorite character was Lyn. She was strong, almost never got hit, and was strong to top it off. Sacred Stones: It's a tie between Ross and Ewan. I made Ewan a Summoner and Ross a Warrior. Ewan beat a Draco Zombie in the Lagdou Ruins for me in one turn, and not only does he have really strong Magic, but he can throw strong meatshields out there that can weaken and draw in the enemy for you. Ross as a Warrior has a LOT of strength. He one hits most people, plus he can use an arrow if he needs to conserve health. Path of Radiance: While I can't remember this game much, I remember that if you get Stefan, he is STRONG. I got him on my second playthrough, and it was all smooth sailing after I got him. Supreme Gamesmaster
SUMMONERS MUST DIE. Druids are superior in every stat and those little Phantoms are useless; IDK why one would use them, especially when the Necromancer is ALSO better in every way. But w/e. De gustibus non disputandum est. WHAT ABOUT THE THIRD GBA GAME?!?!?!?!?!?! (Which was actually the first, paradoxically enough.) Ugh, Stefan. And people say Ike is broken. >_> I go out of my way not to use him simply because he breaks the game. Is replaying PoR on Normal/Random. Those bands are nifty. Hating Biorhythm as always, loving Jill/Marcia/Nephenee/Astrid/Mia/Soren. W/o Ragnell, Ike pales in comparison to them. RANT TIME: I don't know why people like Holy War. The game balance is so horribly broken I'm really not sure how anyone ever finishes it. To say nothing of those monstrous legendary weapons. >>

fenrir
Huzzah FE! Fun times, fun times. Played one of the GBA ones, got half way through it, picked up Path of Radiance a few years later, fell in love again. Only reason I prefer Radiant Dawn and co over the classics is because I got into Path of Radiance more so than the GBA ones. (although I was pretty young back then so it's kind of moot) Oh, and laguz. Gotta love laguz...
