Get the fuck out sheep.

Yeah, I got some comments back on PR about the darkness. Mind telling me what undefined is? I've never really heard that term in this case before.

Ive never heard undefined either.

But i think what they're saying is that, you cant see much. Its just the focal, and that is very hard to see too.

Undefined could also mean the focal is minor enough not to be defined as a focal. The darkness is what's causing that. The white lines add a sense of pop, but they take away from the character, unless you want the lines themselves to be the focal.

I like the base idea you had in your head, but your execution in lighting is not so well done. Improvements need to be made on increasing a set of contrast and allowing your character (if you want it to be the focal point) to have some breathing room (as in reduce the blackness and darkness of the signature). If you were going for a dark or shadowy theme (which by the looks of the piece, you were) then the darkness should still be reduced. In my opinion, (which is not as important as what you think, so go with what you want to do) turn this from a piece consumed by darkness into a piece with darkness underlining the white lines you have going. Not a direct underline of course, but experiment with it, and see if you like it.

seriously guys, you don't need to hear 'undefined' to know it.
there are billions of artists out there who have different words they use for different situations.

undefined basically means there is no detail or definition to the whole thing.
Basically because of either over brushing or over darkening like the above post states.

But yeah, as far as i know, I have a different vocab than most of you.
