Riku drew once more. "It's about time I ended this..." Riku said. "I summon my Dimensional Warrior Gazar." Riku said, as another, spiky-armored warrior appeared. "When he's summoned, I can revive a removed Dimensional Warrior. I'll get back my Sadar." Riku said (Gazar (ATK:1700/Level 4) Sadar (ATK: 600/Level 2/Tuner)). "Now, I activate my last Face-Down." Riku said, hitting a button on his Duel Disk. A card flipped up. "I activate the card Dimension Inversion." Riku said. "I pick a Dimensional Warrior from anywhere on the field, and discard a card form my hand." Riku said, sending the last card of his hand to the grave. "I'll be taking back my Zanar now." Riku said, as Zanar reemerged from Plasmas Dragon, and returned to Riku's field.

The area surrounding Yuge and the three soldiers became a purple color, initiating a three on one duel. Thanks to the Saboes, Yuge can basically control the aspects of this duel to help gain the advantage. Each soldier has 2000 LP while Yuge has 6000 LP, and Yuge will be the one to make the first move. Even though Yuge has the advantage in some aspects, the outcome of the duel will still have to be based on the duel itself. Even so, Yuge has confidence in his deck and abilities and will not lose here. "Alright, my turn! Draw!" Yuge proclaimed as he drew his sixth card. "I'll kick things off by summoning my Snipe Buster in attack mode [ATK:1800]!" A large red machine-like, warrior monster then appeared onto the field. The most noticeable thing about it is the giant firearm resting on its shoulder.

"Don't worry men, he can't attack us!" one of the soldiers shouted. "You're right, I can't attack you this turn, but that doesn't mean that I can't inflict damage to your LP! I activate Snipe Buster's special ability! By discarding one card in my hand, I can inflict damage to you equal to half of Snipe Buster's ATK!" Yuge explained as he sent a card in his hand to the graveyard. Then, a large bullet was shot from Snipe Buster's firearm towards one of the soldiers, the one that is closest to Yuge. A medium sized explosion formed as the large bullet made impact with the soldier. As the smoke cleared, the soldier's LP dropped by 900 points, which in this case, is quite a decent number.

[LP-Soldier 1: 2000-1100]

"I'll end my turn with a face-down!" Yuge proclaimed as the spotlight now shift to the first soldier.

"Arrg, you'll pay for that you NEXUS scum! My draw!" the soldier grunted angrily as he drew his sixth card and the SC for everybody became one. "I'm summoning my War Hound in attack mode [ATK:1600]!" A large dark brown, slender dog with pointed ears appeared onto the field. The dog is strapped with a flak jacket and two large machine guns of each of its shoulders. "(Another War Hound huh?)" Yuge thought to himself. War Hound cards are pretty standard amongst the decks of the Shadow Order's army. "Alright War Hound, attack Snipe Buster!" the soldier commanded. "Not so fast, I activate the effect of my Miracle Beacon in my graveyard! By removing Miracle Beacon from play, I can negate your attack!" Yuge explained. "Arrg, I'll end my turn." the soldier grunted.

"Now then..." Riku said. "I'm tuning my Level 2 Dimensional Warrior Sadar with my level 4 Dimensional Warrior Gazar and my level 4 Dimensional Warrior Zanar!" Riku said. The three warriors burst apart, the first into 2 rings, and the other two into a total of 8 silver stars. The stars flew through the rings, causing a bright, red light to form around the rings, engulfing them. "Red, burning moon! The punishing fires will burn strongly! Eradicate this world!" Riku declared as the red light grew at least 10 times its original size, engulfing the entire dueling area. "Synchro Summon! Revive! Reverse God - Incaria Fladé!" Riku yelled, as the massive fire deity appeared (ATK: 3400).

-MEANWHILE-

Zero looked back in amazement. "Wha... What the hell?! That's... How does he have that?" Zero thought. He turned back to the rest of the group. "Pick up the pace, you guys! This duel has gotten too far out of hand!" Zero shouted to the group. He then accelerated, pushing ahead at an even faster pace. He then hit a button on his D-Wheel, and two screens extended out of the D-Wheel. On one, Zero contacted Yuge. On the other, Zero contacted Akira. "Yuge, hurry and get to the rendezvous point. Our enemy is far more powerful than we thought. We need all the help we can get." Zero said to Yuge. He then turned his attention to Akira's moniter. "Akira, you know what to do." Zero said and turned off the two monitors, which retracted back into Zero's D-Wheel.

-Back to the duel at hand-

"Incaria Fladé! Attack Zwei's Plasmas Dragon!" Riku declared. The large beast fired off a large ball of fire. Zwei's dragon was burned to ashes in an instant. (Zwei's LP: 7500) "Turn End." Riku said.

As Riku ended his turn, Akira intercepted, activating his face-down card. "I activate Fires of Doomsday! This will summon 2 Doomsday Tokens to my field!" he declared as two blackish grey-colored flames appeared on his field (DEF: 0).

Then, all of a sudden, Zero's face showed up on his Duel Runner's screen. "Yeah, don't worry..." Akira mumbled to Zero as he stared at the giant flaming creature. "This is going to be more annoying than I thought, especially if each one of their members has one of those..." he thought. "I thought we sealed them away six years ago, but look who's taken them now" he continued as he drew his card. "Lucky for me, my strategy doesn't involve destroying that thing, or else things wouldn't go as planned" he glanced at the card he drew.

"And now...it's about over" he thought, as the two Doomsday Tokens disappeared. "I'm Tributing my 2 Doomsday Tokens for another Darklord Superbia!" Akira declared, placing a card onto his duel disk as another black, metallic-looking angel appeared from a blue vortex on to his side of the field. "And now..." Akira slid another card into his duel disk. "I activate the Spell Card, Mass Driver!" he called as a cybernetic cannon arose onto the field. "And here...is where your demise begins..." Akira stated to Riku.

"First, Athena's effect will activate, allowing me to Tribute my Darklord Superbia on the field to Special Summon the Darklord Superbia from my Graveyard!" he declared as the black angel was sucked into a vortex and immediately replaced with another identical creature. "Now, Athena's effect will activate, inflicting 600 damage to you!" Akira called as Athena struck Riku with a white light. (Riku: 11400).

"Next, my Darklord Superbia's effect will activate, allowing me to Special Summon another Fairy-Type monster from my Graveyard, and I Special Summon the Athena I sent to the Graveyard last turn with Foolish Burial!" Another blue portal opened, as another battle-armed angel leapt out. "Now, my first Athena's effect will activate, inflicting another 600 points of damage to you!" Athena fired yet another white light at Riku. (Riku: 10800).

"And, to follow that, I'm activating the effect of my Mass Driver, which will send my first Athena to the Graveyard, while inflicting another 400 points of damage to you!" The Athena that fired the attack at Riku turned into a while cannonball, and shot itself at Riku. (Riku: 10400).

"And now, to continue my onslaught, I'm activating the effect of my new Athena to rid my Superbia in order to Special Summon my Superbia in the Graveyard!" The process repeated itself as the black angel on the field replaced itself with another one. "And then, Athena's effect activates again!" (Riku: 9800). "Now, yet again, Superbia will revive my fallen Athena". Another Athena leapt out of another portal, as the one already on the field fired another blast at Riku. (Riku: 9200).

"Now, Mass Driver will send my used Athena to the Graveyard and inflict damage!" Akira called again as one of the Athenas fired itself at Riku (Riku: 8800). "Now, my existing Athena will activate yet again!" The Superbia on the field was replaced with another, causing Athena to fire another blast at Riku (Riku: 8200). "Then, the same happens!" Akira declared as Superbia brought forth another Athena, which caused the first Athena to attack Riku again (Riku: 7600). Then, the Athena proceeded to transform into a cannonball, which further damaged Riku (Riku: 7200).

"Following that, my remaining Athena will continue!" Akira called as the Superbia on the field replaced itself, causing 600 points of damage to Riku (Riku: 6600). Superbia dragged out the fallen Athena, causing the first Athena to attack again (Riku: 6000). It proceeded to transform into the orb of light from Mass Driver. (Riku: 5600).

"Now, Athena will activate again!" THe Superbia on the field disappeared, replacing itself with another one, damaging Riku (Riku: 5000).

...

The chain continued as Athena fired a final blast to Riku's Life Points. (Riku: 800 -> 0)

"One turn kill, success" Akira thought as the holograms disappeared and the purple atmosphere around them went back to normal.

As Riku took each hit, the image of the Reverse God began to fade. "...Hmph..." Riku grunted slightly as his Life Points slowly depleted. The moment they hit 0, the image of the god completely faded. "...That's interesting..." Riku thought. Zwei sighed with relief. "Never thought I'd see one of those again... At least Akira took care of him quickly." Zwei thought. The duel ended, and Riku began to speed past Akira, Zwei, and Joseph. Riku rode right up next to Zero. "You've encountered these before." Riku said to Zero. Surprised, Zero responded slowly. "...Where did you get that card?" Zero demanded. Riku gave a short chuckle. "Wouldn't you like to know? But wether you know or not, that's of no concern to me. But here, maybe this will give you some insight." Riku said, as he threw a card towards Zero. Zero caught it. He looked down at the card his enemy had given him, and then looked back at Riku. "...Wait..." Zero thought. But before Zero could say anything, Riku sped off, far beyond Zero and the rest of the group. Zero looked back down at the card again. "Why does he have this... And why did he have one of those?" Zero thought. He then re-activated the left monitor on his D-Wheel. "Akira, get Zwei and Joseph back up here. We have to stay together for now." Zero said. "Yuge will be along shortly." Zero finished.

Chase had been watching both duels on his Duel Runner's monitor. "Hmph, Akira...OTK loop, huh? Sucks for that Shadow order guy. Heh. And Yuge seems to be having an easy time. These guys ain't too much trouble." Chase turned to Zero. "But Zero...that card the Shadow Order summoned...what was it? I didn't have time to read the effect. And...what did he mean when he said you've seen it before? What happened? I assume it was before I joined Nexus?" Chase was a newer member, so he decided to check. "But whatever it is, it doesn't look nice....or weak. Zero, tell me this:If Akira hadn't pulled of that loop, do you think they could have defeated it?"

Zero looked over at Chase. "...Yeah, he might've won." Zero said. "I suppose I owe you an explanation." Zero continued. "That was one of... Six cards in a set. They are called the Reverse Gods. They hold quite a bit of power." Zero began. "...I won't lie to you. I've used one of them before... The one that he summoned. Akira has, as well, along with Zwei. They both possessed one of those cards, once. But that was quite a long time ago..." Zero continued. "I hardly even remember the names of them all, let alone what they do." Zero said. "...Yet... Not but six years ago, Akira, Zwei, and I sealed them away, so that they wouldn't be used again. This was before Nexus had even been started." Zero explained. "And it wasn't just us. There were... At least 3 others in our original group. Yuge joined us shortly after. He was an old friend of ours, but we hadn't seen him for some time. When we re-united, we founded Nexus." Zero said. "Now, about the gods... Well, that's a very, very long story. And we don't have nearly enough time for me to tell it. Look." Zero said, pointing forward. In the distance, only a dozen miles away stood Neo Domino's remains. "We've arrived... And now we're one step closer to reclaiming freedom." Zero thought.

-MEANWHILE-

Riku looked over his shoulder. He had passed Neo Domino already, and was nearing Grand Spectra. He flipped a switch on his D-Wheel, which activated a comlink. "This is Riku, returning to base. The mission was a failure." Riku said into the comlink. "I know he'll want to see me. I know I shouldn't use the comlink so often." Riku sighed. "I don't care about your taboos. I already told you why I joined you. And I expect your boss to uphold his end. Riku out." Riku said sternly, switching off the comlink. He rode on, towards Grand Spectra once more.

Joseph was nearing the city where he saw a small tunnel off to the side. After checking the map he realized it could easily conceal a passageway due to looking too... natural. He decided that going into it as a group wouldn't work due to it's size, so he had to tell them about it without talking too loudly, which would be hard due to the noise from the motorcycles. He decided he had a bizarre option, and so he turned on his duel disk and entered duel mode... against himself. This allowed him to still play cards and so he summoned Legendary Hero - Dryk. The card happened to have another meaning. It meant a team member had to go solo briefly (the other's boss monsters could do the same).

((I'm going to make the duels short considering their nothing of importance))

It's been four turns already since the duel started, and Yuge has already taken out one of the soldiers. Yuge has the upper hand with a full 6000 LP while the other two soldiers only had 900 and 1000 respectively. Now it's the fifth turn, Yuge's turn. "Alright, my draw!" Yuge said as he drew his card. "(Alright, I've got the upper hand right now. They only have one monster each, both in defense position. I have my Force Buster on the field with 3100 ATK.)" Yuge thought to himself.

"I'm activating the Speed Spell Delta Shift! You see, when I have three or more Speed Counters, I can activate this card by reducing two of my Speed Counters to switch the battle position of one face-up monster on the field, and I choose your Fiend Cycler to be switched into attack mode [ATK:400]! But that's not all Delta Shift can do. You see my Delta Shift also has another effect that activates depending on what battle position was changed. If an attack mode monster was changed to defense mode, its owner gains LP equal to half of the monster's DEF. In this case however, since I changed a monster from defense mode into attack mode, its owner is hit by half of that monster's ATK!" Yuge explained as of beam of purple energy shot out at the soldier on the right at super fast speed.

[Soldier 2's LP: 900-700]

"Now I know that might not seem like a big deal, but that's just a little bonus for me. But now onto the main event! I'll summon to the field my Night Lancer in attack mode [ATK:2100]! Now time to battle! I'll attack your Fiend Cycler with my Force Buster which will put an end to your involvement in this duel!" Yuge exclaimed as Force Buster attacked Fiend Cycler and reduced the second soldier's LP to 0. As the second soldier's LP reached 0, the soldier's duel runner exploded, pushing the soldier off of his duel runner and onto the ground where he lay there unconscious. "Now, I'll end this duel once and for all with my Night Lancer! Night Lancer attack his Gear Guardian!" Yuge said as Night Lancer charged towards Gear Guardian.

"Now I know you're probably thinking that you're safe because your monster is in defense mode, but you're sadly mistaken! Night Lancer's special ability allows it to deal damage equal to the difference of Night Lancer's ATK and Gear Guardian's DEF. And since there is a 1200 points difference, this battle is over!" Night Lancer quickly made quick work of Gear Guardian as well as the rest of the third soldier's LP, causing his duel runner to explode as well and dealing him the same fate as the other two soldiers. The field then became normal again as Yuge continued to ride towards the rendenzvous point to meet up with the others.

-Meanwhile-

At the Shadow Order HQ, within a dark room, the leader of the Shadow Order sat upon a throne hidden by the shadows. A woman with black hair wearing a indigo-colored secretary outfit entered into the room. "Sir, Riku has called and reported that the mission was a faliure. He also commented that you must uphold your end." the woman stated. "Humph, I see.... No matter, they've yet to cause any major problems for us, and we'll continue to use that fool until his capabilities run dry...." the leader responded. "Oh, and call for a meeting. I need to discuss a few things with the others." the leader commanded. "Right away Sir." the woman said before walking off.

"Attention executives of the Shadow Order. A meeting is requested within the meeting hall in ten minutes. I repeat, a meeting is requested within the meeting hall in ten minutes." a computerized, feminine voice emanated from speakers throughout the higher parts of the building where the Shadow Order members reside. A young man of about nineteen or so, finely dressed in a black suit with short black hair looked to the speakers. His hands in his pockets, the young man began to speak. "What does he want know?" the young man scoffed.

Riku looked down at his D-Wheel as the gates of Grand Spectra opened for him. "Hmph... Very well." Riku replied. He rode forward, towards a building towards the left off-center of the city. He arrived at the building in only a couple of minutes. As he walked in, he noticed a few other Shadow Order grunts running about. They all turned to look at him as Riku walked by. Riku stepped up the many flights of stairs, as elevators didn't exist in this building. When he reached the Conference Room floor, he took two steps, and was confronted by another grunt. "Yes?" Riku asked, slightly annoyed. "This is for you." The grunt replied, holding up an envelope. "It's about the issues you asked me to look in to." The grunt continued. Riku took the envelope, and headed towards the Conference room. "Ah, yes... Thank you." Riku said. "Now, go. Before you attract too much attention." Riku said. The grunt left, Riku walked into the Conference Room, and sat down at his usual seat. "Are we going to wait for everyone else, or are we going to get started now?" Riku asked, obviously annoyed.

"Relax Riku.... I know you have other things you need to attend to, but you know we can't have a meeting without all of our executive members. No need to fret, this meeting shall be over soon when it starts...." the leader's voice emanated from the shadows. The back of the meeting room, where the leader's seat is located, is always poorly lit to the point of being unable to see anything. The room has an ominous feel to it, and that feel is advanced further by the black-glass lights in the room. Even with the black glass, the little bits of light are still able to penatrate through and lit the room enough so everyone could see clearly.

Just then, the door opened and walking in was the young man from before finely dressed in his suit. He had a calm look on his face, that is until he saw Riku in his chair. Then an arrogant smile formed on the young man's face. "Well, well, if it isn't Riku. I hope your mission was successful." the young man mocked. "That's enough Dan. Please, take your seat." the leader said. Dan looked at the back of the room with resentment. "Humph, whatever...." Dan said before walking to his seat and sitting down.

Each of the executive members' chairs are custom made to suit each member's liking. Dan's chair was a rather large chair, allowing Dan to sit with his hands in his pockets and one leg over the other. Dan is the main provider of resources for the Shadow Order thanks to his immense wealth. Dan is also a pretty powerful duelist, using personally made cards to cripple his opponent and give him absolute control. Dan is also rather prideful and treated others lower than him like trash.

"Geez...so those cards are...ugh." Chase turned away from Zero, and glanced at his monitor. "Heh...Yuge took them down easily. No surprise there." He glanced up, and to the side, just in time to see Joseph veer away and summon Dyrk. Chase looked passed him, and saw the tunnel. It was wide enough for two, if one rode slightly behind. He quickly set Rainbow Dark Dragon on his Duel Disk, and it came up, roaring. Chase accelerated, drawing close enough to Joseph that he could yell to him. "Care for a bit of backup? Who knows what's in that tunnel...it doesn't look nice."

Akira accelerated his way next to Zero and Chase. "Never thought you'd see those again, did you?" he stated to Zero. The screen on Akira's D-Wheel flashed the map of the Neo Domino Ruins. "Hey, guys, our checkpoint is coming up ahead; we should be there in about 3.8 miles" he declared loud enough for everyone to hear. "Now...I wonder who else in that Shadow Order is using the Reverse Gods" he thought seriously, the cursor on his screen moving towards a red point on the map.

"Yeah... But how did he have one?" Zero said to Akira. "And if they are still being used, then we've got a second priority. Of course, we have to win back our freedom, but so long as those things are out there, I won't be able to stay. You remember the conditions of my return, from way back then, correct? So long as they remained under control, I could keep myself out. But, after we lost control... You know the rest." Zero said. "Now then, let's go."

-MEANWHILE-

Riku glanced over at Dan. "You got a death wish, kid?" Riku said darkly. "Hpmh. I'll deal with you later." Riku said quietly. "Now then... What are we going to do about them? They've bested me already, but what if we sent a second person out? One against nine is suicidal, but 2 against nine is even slightly easier." Riku said. "However, if you were to send two people, I would wish to be part of it." Riku said. "I failed once, but I will try again. You recall what I said when I joined?" Riku asked. "You promised me something that I want. To get it, you need to get what you want. So, I will do whatever I can do make sure that happens." Riku quoted himself. "However, if I learn that you have betrayed my trust, then nothing will be stopping me from going against not only NEXUS, but you, too." Riku finished. "Now, what is your plan of action?"
