Vector-A was much more pitiful than everyone had given it credit for. 'I'll deal with you' she said calmly and grabbed Vector-A. She warped away with Vector-A in tow.

She reappeared in a lab underneath the admin building. She shoved Vector-A into an open pod and began to run disgnoastics. 'Don't worry A, I won't delete you, you could perhaps be useful to me, in the future. But first, let's start figuring out what it is that makes you tick. I've always wanted to run diagnostics on a virus. Oh, and before you think of infecting me or this place, don't bother. This place has more virus protection than you could shake a stick at'.

However, the scan came up with something very interesting.
Vector-A wasn't a virus.
Somehow, someone had spliced tons of different pieces of viral code into a user simply named "Victoria", infusing her with bits of viruses until she became a super-carrier for an incredibly potent cocktail of viral subroutines. She was, in essence, the origin of her virus, but she wasn't a viral program in of herself. There was still someone in there that needed to be cured of this horrible, horrible deed, since infusing foreign code was highly illegal, and it was obvious she did not do this to herself.

Carmine read over the details being given. 'Vector-A, Victoria. I see' she muttered. The amount of different subroutines was very perplexing. 'No wonder no one can understand a god damn thing this thing says, her voice is complete gibberish with some many conflicting routines. But the matter is, the cleansing. This will probably be agonizing, oh well' Carmine commented before intialising the program which would purge all viral data and cause a refresh of the original user data. The pod began to fill with bright purple energy.

Vector-A/Victoria screamed in agony as purple-circuited worms started to ease their way out of her body, only to be destroyed. Her sharp claws became simply clawed gloves. Her shapeless body stabilized to make boots, a cloak, and a form-fitting outfit. Red tattoos appeared on her skin. Her eyes stayed darkened, but they didn't seem as wild and manic. Finally, as she calmed down, two worms that had golden circuitry popped out and were destroyed.

Trihsder frowned. Something was wrong. Very wrong. He hadn't heard anything of Vector-A is a while.

A strange knotted plant appeared, but it shaped itself into the form of Infernity Knight. (0 ATK, LV1) (LV1 -> LV3)

Copy Plant and Gigantic Cephalotus turned into 3 rings and 4 stars, respectively, and the array spit out a virally corrupted Black Rose Dragon. (2400 ATK)
Queen of Thorns shot out a set of thorns, but Aki flipped up a Trap Card.

Spikes shot out of the Light Runner and hit Kyza, lowering his Life Points. (Kyza: 1700 LP)

Black Rose Dragon's thorn-whips suddenly got bigger and sharper. (2400 ATK -> 3000 ATK)

I'11 C U N H311!!!"[/color] Aki cried out as Black Rose Dragon whipped out to attack Kyza...only for a shield with an extending arm to appear and grab Queen of Thorns, putting it in the place of Infernity Knight. Black Rose Dragon destroyed her comrade, hurting Aki and confusing everyone, since that was not Kyza's Trap. (Aki: 2550 LP)

Kyza was horrified, gazing at the terrifying creature before him. Not that... anything but that....

"That isn't possible!! I took that for safe keeping!!!" He cowers back, unable to understand, even if he DID activate one of his 4 face downs, the attack would wipe him out. He tried to think of what's happening, knowing it can't end like this, knowing he HAD to save her, to save someone important, to discover why Vector-A knew his secrets, his one card in his hand useless....

Until Queen of Thorns is destroyed instead, and he looks startled, seeing the trap, then looking to his field.

"But.... that wasn't mine...." he stammers, looking to the retracting arm shield to try to find its source.

Suddenly, a red and black one-wheeled Light Cycle jumped off of the highway above them, a transparent looping ramp appeared below the vehicle, and the driver sped up, over, and in front of Aki, cutting her off with her jetwall. Aki just barely missed crashing into the scarlet energy field, and the mysterious duelist was now running in between Aki and the Light Runner Rhythm and Kyza were in. The helmeted woman briefly glanced at Kyza before looking back at the road. Her outfit was armored, but there was no mistake.
Itsu had come to save the day.
She had an interesting Trap Card active on the field, depicting a player activating Mirror Force in response to a Dark Lucius LV6 attacking an Allure Queen LV5 controlled by another player.

"Teslarc" just briefly glanced at Aki before continuing to drive.
Rhythm turned to Kyza. [color=#00FFFF]"So...umm...you gonna end your turn?"[/color]

His grin spreads as he sees Itsu racing alongside them, "Took your time, didn't you?!" he chuckles, looking back to Aki as he draws, now it was his turn.

"Ok... I'll switch my Infernity Knight to defense mode!" The Knight slowly fel to one knee, arms crossing his chest as Kyza played a card.

"I activate Infernity Launcher, and use its effect to discard my Infernity Avenger to the graveyard!" Discarding the weird gunslinger marionette Tuner to the graveyard, he gives a quick check over his field; 4 face downs, an active Infernity Launcher, two set monsters and Infernity Knight in defense. Checking all was ready, he nods, looking to Rhythm, then back to Itsu, and giving a rather sinister smirk to Aki

(Wasn't sure if i had 2 or 3 set monsters, if I only have 1 set and Infernity Knight then that's ok too, I'll change it)

Carmine rolled her eyes over to Victoria, it seems she was more pleasant to look at without the viruses, speaking of which, Carmine went to observe the collection jar. It was loaded with the nasty stuff, a thick stew of viral worms. 'What am I going to do with this?' the automaton inquired aloud, but then grinned, a grin that defines devilish thought through a grinniest of grins. 'Oh, I have got the best idea' she declared and began looking for contruct data of dogs, until she stopped on a German Shepherd. 'Perfect'.

[color=#800080]"Don't."[/color] The young woman, who looked to be just barely 18, wheezed. Her voice was soft and had a British accent. [color=#800080]"The golden worms...I'll tell you what happened to me if you keep them...Those are very important pieces of evidence."[/color]

Rhythm simply played Heartless Serenade Act #2 and ended her turn.

Teslarc drew her card and Normal Summoned Attack Gainer in Attack Mode. She then raised her hand to the sky, and Power Tool Dragon and Attack Gainer started to float into the air. [color=#FF2400]"The strength and courage to protect the world's peace is a revolution!"[/color] She chanted as Attack Gainer turned into a ring and Power Tool Dragon became 7 stars. [color=#FF2400]"Synchro Summon! Evolve, Life Stream Dragon!"[/color]
The mechanical dragon's armor cracked, and a golden-skinned dragon appeared. (2900 ATK) It then emitted a rainbow-colored aura that increased Kyza and Rhythm's Life Points to 2000. She then flipped up Trap Stun, and declared her attacks, Stardust Dragon charging towards Black Rose Dragon, which had been weakened by Attack Gainer.

Carmine saw the two golen worms. 'Okay luv, whatever floats your boat' she said as the viral goo entered the pod, leaving behind the two worms. A process initiated in the pod, causing a new AI contruct to be formed, sensing it, the virus attacked and bonded to the structure, unawae of what was being made. As the new AI had formed, large clouds of smoke billowed out of the machinery and in the pod, until the door swung open. There was playful barking as a mutated german shepjherd bounded out of the pod. It had large spines and several red eyes running down it's snout. 'Meet Patches' Carmine said as she playfully stroked her new pet.

Vicky giggled at the creation, and stepped out of the cleansing pod, only to collapse onto the floor. Purging her of the viral subroutines had really taken a toll on her. [color=#800080]"A little assistance would be greatly appreciated."[/color]

Finally, around the city, several dozen Light Cycles had gathered at each point. Then, something incredible happened. A massive ramp appeared near the groups, and what looked like giant articulated riderless Light Cycles appeared. Each segment of these rolling behemoths was several stories tall and could easily fit inside of a football field. The trio that emerged from the "north" ramp had three segments, but each of the other three groups had four of these virtual leviathans, though they only had two segments.
Desna Adats stepped out of the central monstrosity of the northern group and announced to the assembled soldiers via intercom. [color=#9ACD32]"Meet our newest weapon: the Gridships."[/color]

Carmine summoned an extra pair of her hands which held Victoria up by her arms. 'It's not comfortable, but then, neither am I about this situation. I'll send you co-ordinates for a safe resting place until you're better, as for me, I'll be enjoying my new pet. It's fairly amusing really, since the viruses attacked such a low AI, it's individual AI got corroded down to the level fo it's host. It's nothing more than a simple house pet now, and I wove my widdle Patches yes I do' Carmine said, scratching Pathces behind it's ears.

He tried to be happy about this, to be happy he was starting to win this duel... but he wasn't, not really, Itsu had once again come to save the day again. Still, he understood the seriousness of the duel and looks to 'Itsu' with a smile. She seemed a bit off to him, not by too much, but perhaps it was the stress, or just being in an entirely electronic and artificial setting playing with her head, or perhaps something far more serious was looming that he didn't truely understand the magnitude of... His face becomes more serious now.

"We have to defeat her... you probably already know, but Aki's been infected by one of Vector-A's lackies.... and whoever this Vector-A is, she's someone who know about my secrets. Also, my memory..." he touches one of his temples, "It's... been effected. I'm trying to remember someone very important, but I really can't remember them..."

He couldn't offer any assistance with his own face downs, all Traps and would be negated thanks to Trap Stun, but she seemed to be handling the situation well.

Vicky protested. [color=#800080]"No. I'm fine. I need to talk to you about what happened to me."[/color]

Aki discarded two cards, Hedge Guard, which halved Black Rose Dragon's ATK to prevent it from being destroyed, and Black Rose Bloom, which so Life Stream dragon finished the dragon off. (Aki: 1950 LP) Teslarc set a card and ended her turn.

Aki drew her card, and smirked. [color=#FF1493]"i F1i9 U9 10n3fi43 810550m!"[/color] A fiery plant popped up and sparked inside of its petals. (500 ATK) [color=#FF1493]"N@0 i 74i8u73 iT 2 593cIa1 5uMM0n 7`/TaNNiA1, 94iNc355 0f CaM311i@2!"[/color] A beautiful, yet corrupted, plant woman appeared next to Aki. (2800 ATK) [color#FF1493]"i 9lAy 5hAd0w Of 3y32!"[/color] Kyza's face-down monster was then flipped face-up.

"Hold on!" His monster is flipped up, at the same time as his Trap card is played, the monster being Giant Germ.

"Infernity Break! This can only be played when I'm Handless! By removing my Infernity Avenger from the graveyard, I can destroy one card on the field! And I'm targeting your Tannial!!" his Infernity Avenger was removed from play, becoming electrical lightening that snaked its way towards Aki's newest summoned monster

Aki groaned as her monster was destroyed, but she flipped up her other Trap Card.

A ringing sound echoed through the street as Power Tool Dragon and Attack Gainer fused together in a swirling portal. Teslarc drove into the portal, and emerged with a strange blade, but without her Light Cycle. She ran alongside the Light Runner Kyza and Rhythm were in, but there was a card on her field that looked eerily similar to her.

She briefly looked over at Kyza before concentrating on running fast enough to keep pace with the Light Runner. Aki, confident, ended her turn.

"My turn!" Kyza drew his next card, frowning.

"Not what I was hoping for...." It was Infernity Guardian, a monster. He could summon it, but to leave it in attack....

Suddenly, he looks to Teslarc as she ran alongside him, thinking... "She's not just duelling... she IS the monster...." he whispers, looking at the readout on his dueldisk. Knight of Solace was a Fusion Tuner, something he had heard mentioned but never had seen, ".......is a Synchro possible? But.... what can I summon...?"

He pulls his thoughts back, returning to the duel. He could do this, just keep playing it safe for now, back her up. He sets his monster face down, making his hand zero once again as he whispers to her.

"I hope I don't mess this up for you... who's Vector-A? She knows my relationship to Aki...."

Teslarc turned to Kyza. [color=#FF2400]"You will find out in good time. As for me, yes, I am a Fusion Tuner, a very special type of Tuner. Have you ever heard of Accel Synchro Summoning, which summons a Synchro Monster using a Synchro Tuner and a Synchro Monster? Well, Itsu invented a special type of Synchro Monster that cannot be Synchro Summoned normally. A Fusion Tuner, like myself, has the basic building blocks for a portal that can access the space between parallel universes, and tap into the infinite energy reserves inside for this Synchro Summon. Itsu dubbed it 'Vortex Synchro Summoning', and the impossibly powerful monsters created from this type of Summoning 'Vortex Synchro Monsters'. Fortunately, I can actually conduct this type of Synchro Summoning with your Infernity Knight."[/color]

'Vortex Synchro Summoning" He looks surprised hearing what he thinks is Itsu talking in 3rd person, then looking to his Infernity Knight.

He turns back to Teslarc, realising that perhaps she was undercover or had even completely taken the role of the duel monster she was. He looks once again to Aki, then sighs..

"I have to do it, don't i? To save her, and find Vector-A, i'll have to defeat Aki...." he shudders a bit. Earlier he didnt know if he could win, now there was a glimmer and he was terrified he would, but she needed to be purged, he needed answers.

"Ok... let's do this"

Teslarc nodded and started to glow. She jumped backwards, Infernity Knight following her, until she was a few dozen feet behind Aki's Light Cycle and Rhythm's Light Runner, which were side by side. Teslarc then exploded into a burst of light, creating a much more complex tuning ring that was glowing crimson. Infernity Knight entered the ring, turning into three stars, but instead of being in a line perpendicular the the plane of the ring, they were on the same vertical plane, arranged in a triangle that started to spin faster and faster. A smaller tuning ring appeared between the rapidly spinning stars and expanded until there was the inner ring, a whirling ring of material stars that were spinning too fast for the human eye to make out the individual stars, and the outer ring. Finally, the light from the middle ring started to expand, and more tuning rings added on, until a galaxy-shaped vortex with three rotating arms and one layer of four crimson tuning rings. floated behind the duelists. A scarlet tunnel was in the center of the portal, and lighting arced inside and outside of the swirling vortex.
Rhythm and Aki were in awe at the beautiful "galaxy" behind them.

"I tried mom...." he looks to Aki, his hair and coat flapping in the rising wind as he looks over to her, "I almost wanted to loose so you'd tell me what I wanted to hear... but I cant now."

He closes his eyes, raising his fist to his chest as his eyes close"

“From the infinite depths between realities, a new hope emerges! This vortex meets at zero, crossing through the lonely void and the cage of eternity, releasing the demonic knight! Vortex Synchro Summon, come forth, Infernity Solace Knight Teslarc!”

His coding crackles and sparks as he chants, before pointing towards the galaxy formed by the summoning, calling further then Rhythm and Aki could hope to understand

The galaxy rippled as the tunnel in the center got wider. The inner three tuning rings disappeared and the arms retracted, leaving a swirling crimson portal that a two-story house could fit inside of. A black-armored figure shot out of the portal, and the vortex collapsed in on itself, winking out as it became a singularity. Teslarc's armor was much more demonic, with a tattered black cloak, a draconic helmet, and spikes and blades on different parts of her. Her blade had become serrated and blood-stained, and she had a beetle shell-like shield on her left arm. Overall, she combined elements of all three types of Infernities.

"Since that was my special summon.... I set a monster face down..." his face down Infernity Guardian on the field next to his Infernity Solace Knight Teslarc, his hands empty once again as he gazes to Aki.

"This is it...." he whispers, before looking to Teslarc.

"I activate Infernity Solace Knight Teslarc's ability! Until the end of this turn, she will be treated as a Fusion Summon, so she will be immune to your Trap!" Pointing at Teslarc, she gives a slight glow, the only real sign of any change besides the readouts on the duel disks. He lowers his face, so difficult to look ahead now to see what he knew what was coming.

"...Infernity Solace Knight Teslarc.... ATTACK AKI DIRECTLY!!!" He yells out, hoping no one would see the pain in his expression. He had to do this, to find Vector-A, but.... she still had his mother's face... was his mother... he couldn't watch

Teslarc charged at Aki mercilessly, preparing to deal the killing blow. She raised her blade and sliced Aki's Light Cycle in half, causing the vehicle to explode into bits and pieces, as well as some glowing liquid. Aki was sent airborne, but Teslarc followed her. The last thing Aki saw before Teslarc cut the GloMod in two was her face reflected in the faceplate, as well as an emotionless face behind it that could only be seen due to the angle they were at. This face looked like her own, but with a touch of Yusei in it. [color=#FF1493]"Wh0 ar3 `/ou?"[/color] Aki asked just before she followed the same fate as her Duel Runner, her body shattering and turning into glowing pink liquid and little blocks, as well as purple worms that Teslarc swiftly dispatched of.

In the real world, Aki awoke to a start as her cyropod immediately severed the connection before the shock of dying overloaded her neural systems, killing her. She looked around, then started to do a diagnostic, She needed to get back in there.

Teslarc landed on the ground amidst the shower of stuff-that-was-Aki's-virtual-self as Rhythm brought her Light Runner to a halt. [color=#FF2400]"Don't worry."[/color] She told the duo. [color=#FF2400]"She's not dead."[/color]

He steps quietly off the light chycle, gazing towards the wreckage as he nods, "...I know... and even if she was, she...." he sighs, he thankfully hadn't seen Aki's derezzolution but he had heard it, and even worse he imagined it, taking his graveyard he mixed it with his deck, then put it together in his duel disk which electrically disappeared with a dimmed light, ready for the next duel.

He glances to Rhythm, "thanks for the ride... sorry you had to get involved... but this was your win too." he smiles weakly before turning to Teslarc.

"You didn't have to do that Itsu... I was duelling her for answers. Like who Vector-A is, how she knows who I am..." as he speaks, that error on his face blurts up, half his face becoming wild, dark, the coding becoming the default cyan before it calms, yet Kyza speaks as though it hadn't happened, not realising his control within was slipping, "...those were important questions, Itsu... they needed to be answered. I mean, who is Vector-A?!""
