The archetype idea is that these cards have powerful effects, and can be pretty strong, but at swarms of LP payment. [Spoiler=Monster cards] [spoiler=Purity Synchron]Monster, Level 4, LIGHT. 500 ATK/1800 DEF Spellcaster/Tuner/Effect This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of a 'Purity' card. Once per turn, you can discard 1 card from your hand and pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon 1 level 4 or lower monster from your hand or Deck.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Purity Soldier]Monster, Level 4, LIGHT. 1900 ATK/1500 DEF Warrior/Effect If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a 'Purity' card, Draw 1 card. When this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, you can pay 500 Life Points to Draw 1 card from your Deck.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Purity Guardian]Monster, Level 4, LIGHT. 0 ATK/0 DEF Warrior/Effect This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn, you can Pay 600 Life Points to pick up (not Draw) the top card of your Deck. If it is a 'Purity' monster card, you can pay 800 Life Points to Special Summon it to your side of the field. If it is not a 'Purity' monster, return it to the bottom of you Deck.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Purity Sorcerer]Monster, Level 6, LIGHT. 1800 ATK/2000 DEF Spellcaster/Effect If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a 'Purity' card, you can discard 1 card from your hand to destroy 1 Spell or Trap card on the field. If this card is Normal Summoned, you can reveal to your Opponent 1 Monster Card in your hand. This card's Level is treated as the Level of the revealed monster. Once per turn, instead of your normal Draw during your Draw Phase, you can discard 2 cards from your hand to add 1 Spell card from your Deck to your hand.[/spoiler][/spoiler] [Spoiler=Spell Cards] [spoiler=Purification]Normal Spell card. Remove from Play 2 cards in your hand and pay 2000 Life Points. Destroy up to 3 cards on the field.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Purity Union]Quick-Play spell card. During you Main Phase, you can pay 800 Life Points to Special Summon 1 'Purity' monster from your hand to your side of the field. During your Standby Phases, pay 500 Life Points. Death Knight Posted January 13, 2011 Report Share Posted January 13, 2011 please tell me that you kept track of all the life points payment O.o r u aware that you have cards's effect to pay is worth 14500 LP in total??? hence the life absorbing machine cards there always possible your opponent will try to rid all of that and let you suffer all the damage from paying though and trust me they have plenty of destruction cards to do so. there are cards's payment effect doesn't actually worth that much though. Purtity synchron's payment to be special summon dun have to be 2000, normal it would be 800-1000 LP and special summing 1 lvl 4 monster from your deck or hand is the right cost just not the card itself. purity soldier's cost for drawing 1 card should be 500 the least. Purity guardian's 1200 for just picking up a top doesn't usually worth at all. it's like Destiny hero diamond dude. make it 600 LP then and the special summoning 800 LP for Purification, you have 2 choices, either removing all cards in your hand to destroy 3 cards on the field or pay 2000 LP Purtiy union, get rid of discarding, change the LP cost to 1000. Purity Speed, rid the discarding once again Purity Storm change the pay 2000 LP to Pay 500 LP each of your Standby Phase. change the cost to special summon to 800. change the cost of purity seal to 1500 LP. Purity chaos master, get rid of damage becoming 0 for your opponent, it make the monster underpowered. Link to comment

Death Knight Posted January 13, 2011 Report Share Posted January 13, 2011 sure no problem, you wouldn't want to give your monster too much weakness that your opponent will take advantage. for life absorbing machine, you may want to add in couple of Imperial custom, that help to prevent them to be destroyed, with it, it will force your opponent to use up cards that destroy magic and trap cards. -Griffin Posted January 16, 2011 Report Share Posted January 16, 2011 Purity Speed and Purity Seal are very much broken. Purity Guardian looks like a pain. The game doesn't need any more level 4 or lowers that can't be destroyed by battle. Purity Synchron looks inconsistent. Bad draws and it's just a dead card. Purity Chaos Master looks like a pain to Summon with a level 11. Your only method is through Gale or Reborn. Purity Soldier looks too splahable. Purification could be broken in some city builds or jank like that. The Deck's too Trap-Heavy - we're in a format where a large amount of Decks are using 3x Decree as their Trap line-up. [/quote] and oddly destiny draw is still not banned yet, that card is -2 for 2 but purity speed is -3 for 2, losing life point, discarding a card and lose the card itself, so purity speed cos the payer lose 2 cards in total for 2 new ones and lose some LP as well. i guess i'm too base on equlivant exchange. Heck, in some, it makes you win faster if you can put yourself 'losing' in LP. Destiny Draw is non-generic, you have to use other specific cards for it to work, and it's a +0 total, so it isn't as banworthy. It's still close though. Purity, even as a +0, is generic, so is a problem card. Link to comment

[/quote] ah i c, so like my Redeeming Dusk which require a face-up Yamifumou card on the field to activate it and discard a "Kumoridou" monster to draw 2 cards is non-generic, i think Purity Speed should change from discard 1 card to 'discard a "Purity" monster to even up.
