The Borg
Destiny. A fool’s word. Any other person in Theodore’s place would most likely say that that word is the cause of all of their troubles. The next duel was about to begin. The next slaughter fest would be more accurate terminology. The lift he was in was gleaming off the lights lining the walls. He was standing in the center of the lift, as the area around his feet were locked in place. His duel disk rattled, displaying how many were still left in the tournament : thirty two. He saw his duel disk projecting a reflective image, on it was the life point totals. Theodore 4000 Desrich 4000 Yua 4000 Len’de’er 4000 As the lift neared the top two he could see the fans of the competition. All of which were screaming, getting ready to see the competitors dish it out. The lift had begun to reach a glass like arena, with the competitor’s outfits being reflected. Theodore’s helmet was already detecting the things one should know about the field. The others were all amazed at this, Theodore was terrified. He knew bad things happened to those that didn’t comply. The turns were randomized, with Theodore quickly finding out he would go first. He drew, the others didn’t know it but he was never as happy during an event as he was right then. He set a monster and 2 traps. Desrich went next, him setting one spell trap and ending. With Yua’s turn things had begun to speed up. She drew, and she summoned a monster, an attack position card had been seen with the monster materializing on it. There were green lines, outlining the monster, growing around it, as it started to fill in. First to appear were the blue feet, with flames dancing on them, as if the creature didn’t even care. Slightly above the hills the legs were shown to be red, along with the tail and upper body. near the neck and shoulder area it was yellow, with horns on it’s back. The hands had fire in a similar way to the feet. The upper neck was red, with the head being the most bizarre thing of all on this creature. The skull was blue, with red where holes would be, and spikes on it, that were in the same row as the rest, and the spikes were covered with flames. “I summon Jurrac Guaiba!” was heard coming from her right then.
If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, you can Special Summon 1 "Jurrac" monster with 1700 or less ATK from your Deck. It cannot declare an attack this turn.
The dinosaur was leaping around as if it was happy, with it’s gaze headed to Desrich who seemed completely afraid. “I activate three solidarity, and then dark world dealings!”
If you have only 1 original (printed) Type of monster in your Graveyard, face-up monsters you control with the same Type gain 800 ATK.

Each player draws 1 card. Then each player discards 1 card.
This move surprised Theodore. No one would be normally wanting to over extend like that. Unless of course they knew it was the best option. As everyone drew and pitched the hologram screen being projected by the duel disks had changed to display the cards just pitched. Desrich pitched Gorz, the one card that probably could have saved him. “I activate Mystical Space Typhoon, targeting Desrich’s face down spell or trap!” That confirmed what Theodore was fearing the most, she was not willing to give anyone too long. Len’de’er was only safe because he had not had a turn yet. As all of this had happened, Jurrac Guaiba had started to move over to Desrich’s side of the arena, gazing directly at him, with him appearing nervous to all. It was a wonder he even lasted this long. Without even needing it’s owner to say it the dinosaur had attacked with it’s mouth opening to release a flamethrower headed towards the area Desrich was standing. The screens changed back to the life point totals as the area below moved over to reveal a giant fan, rotating, ready to kill. Theodore 4000 Yua 4000 Len’de’er 4000 Desrich 0 - Eliminated Desrich fell into the fan, where the blood splattered onto the arena. Theodore waited for the life point total to change, but suddenly the area below Len’de’er fell apart too. Theodore 4000 Yua 4000 Len’de’er Eliminated Desrich 0 - Eliminated Yua motioned for Theodore to begin, even though he was clearly unnerved by all the red. Theodore drew, and then he realized why Len’de’er fell, the system had realized it was a ghost. A ghost was the common name for the programs that would become rogue, leading the players to defeat it. The field though had begun to shake. Then, before Theodore could realize it he was derezzed. He moved the visor upwards, back into the terminal. The terminal was designed to upload one into a digital world. Sadly that digital world was not perfect, and then he left the arcade, realizing what time it was. It was too late, and he still had to finish his papers for his application to the university.
