beefman
Too many people are making contests with less than the number of needed posts. I'm trying to find a good contest to join, and all of the ones that haven't started are ny noobs with less than the number of needed posts. I don't know how you can enforce the rules any further, but can someone stop this? Supporters: War Chess Lewk Half-Dark bigword

.Starrk
You can just PM a mod to make the Rules more out in the open.

beefman
The problem is, I don't see if this can be any further inforced. I mean, even if the new guys got mail stating the rules of the site, they'd probably just go "Bah, who needs rules" and posts an illegal contest. <}Alpha Frogodile{>
the mods need to put some kind of lock that prevents anyone with less that the # of needed posts from hosting a contest.
...therefore I am.
lol, glad someone else remembers him.
Icy
Honestly I'm not a very big fan of this rule (which is why I don't enforce it). As a member can fully maintain a contest and be mature about it, regardless of the number of posts. I've seen a few newbies host some phenomenal contests (albeit few and far between). It really... just seems like a way of forcing it. Now I understand it's more of a trust issue, that I can understand. So why not have it more as a guideline than it is a rule and if the member cannot maintain the contest as promised, they will be penalized? beefman
Yeh, I understand. I guess it's not their post count that bothers me, it's just that all they do is make a post saying "make a dragon" without prizes, rules, etc.
Icy
So it's more of a modified SPAM issue than it is a Rule one isn't it? Just PM me those ones and I'll handle it.
