KindredTether
Recently I was warned and have absolutely no idea why. When you get warned it should show you the post or at least tell you why you've been warned then we wouldn't have 3 pages of comments asking "Why have I been warned?" on mods like Marblezone's profiles. Whose with me?
KindredTether
Hello any wandering supporters?
Limited Edition KING
You could have just sent a PM to the mod who warned you instead of posting this thread. The mod should reply to you telling you why you were warned and where. And if they don't reply straight away it's because they're offline or are busy moderating their forums. Seriously just be patient and making a whole thread about it isn't really helping you.
Flame Dragon
Yea, could just pm the mod that warned you. Still it is stupid that there is no why to find out what post or posts caused the warned, but nothing I know of can be done about that.
MarbleZone
I prefer replying individually to those who ask than sending out a detailed PM with a link to the offending post every single time I spam warn somebody; half the time people don't care, so I wait to be asked. Still, it's entirely possible to do it, there's an option to send a PM when issuing a warning, so if everyone prefers that we do, I can play along - I'll hate it, but I'll play along. There's no automatic option that links each warning to the respective post, and that's a technical issue that nobody except YCMaker can change, so it'll be troublesome manually copying the link into every PM, but I guess we're here for the community. Your call on this one.
THE GOD OF OBELISK
In a previous warn I had, a moderator issued me a 10% increase because of "spammy and utterly useless post". He didn't even link me to the thread it was in. I PM'd him and he didn't reply. Power abuse ftw.
Icy
^: In that case it's better to just walk around more careful than you usually do. It's entirely possible than a moderator warns so many people in a day that we do not remember each individual warms (I myself have topped well over 50 in a day). It's not power abuse (which btw doesn't exist ), it's just something unfortunate that the moderator can not remember.
TheComposer
Then they should at least tell them they can't remember instead of making it seem like their ignoring the people they warned.
Icy
I can't speak for those moderators ... Send them another PM?
Legend Zero
Judging by thread title and the first post I'm going to assume the OP's warn was justified.
Nu. And besides, warns shouldn't be a big deal until you get past, say, 70%.
Solemn Silver
Ive only had a problem with 1 mod, he/she never replyed when i needed help with spammers/trolls and whatnot I wont mention the username
Cin
It completely depends on the mod that you're PM with a question, some are too busy too reply. I tend to warn fairly few people a day, so can usually remember what I warned on so reply as soon as I get on.
War Chess
Once I got warned, but my warn level wasn't changed. The mod told me the reason why I got reported and gave me the post why I was warned for. I support that members must know why were they warned and that the reason of why were they warned is given. I don't support you posted this, you could have just PMed the mod that warned you and ask for the post.
Smear
I remember that time when I got a warning before I got banned. Oh wait, no I don't. I just got a 2 month ban straight up. 8D But seriously, I would usually agree, but in some cases, PMing the mods is a good point. *checks warnings*

Whenever Pika warns me, she places a link to the post for which she is warning me in the reason for the warn.
