Which ones? I found the X series to be VERY easy.

If you need some info, I know a lot about the games.

My younger brother probably just is not good at the games. He can't even get past half of Chill Penguin's stage. Yes, Chill Penguin's stage.

Seriously? That's like the easiest stage in the entire game. Where exactly is he getting stuck at?
[/quote]
The part where you are in the mountain dodging wheels. He can't seem to get up to the platforms there. He gave up and played X5 and X6 instead.

Seriously couldn't get past that part? Wow...

And he went to play X5 and X6 - which are CONSIDERABLY harder.

Pretty much. He at least defeated Grizzly Slash in X5 (Though he is bad at completing any other stage) and played X6 up to defeating Yammark, Scarivach and Blaze Heatnix with Zero unlocked.

Incredible - and yet he cannot get past some simple ledges in MMX1. I'm going to guess that he uses the Dash function a lot? (Heatrix stage was REALLY annoying - nothing but one big mini-boss fight)

He now got past Chill Peng and made it up to storm eagle. He beat all 8 mavericks in X5 (He needed me to figure out which weapon is effective against whom). To Blaze Heatnix, I was not that much around but I guess he did. He still hated fighting the constant mini-boss.

I LOVE Storm Eagle's weapon, but hate fighting him. (NEVER fight him without the boots; you won't win). Sting Chameleon's weapon is his weakness - but it doesn't stun him (unfortunately).

I hated fighting the constant mini-boss in Blaze Heatnix's stage also. The stage design was annoying and lazy - just like most of X5's stages in general.

Storm Eagle's weapon is close to broke in that game. Getting Sting Chameleon's weapon against him isn't worth it due to the fact that if you do not have Sting Chameleon's Weakness Weapon (Boomer Kuwanger's weapon), he is close to impossible to defeat. Besides, with boots Storm Eagle is just pathetic.

Blaze Heatnix's stage was just horrendously annoying. They really want you to keep your guard up as much as possible (The fact that you have to fight one of the constant annoyance of a mini-boss over the blue magma which kills you in 1 hit is such an example).

Sting Chameleon isn't that hard to fight without his weakness. You just have to keep moving and make out his silhouette. It's not that hard. His weapon is really good powered up - since it makes you invulnerable for a short time.

That's laziness for you. =p

I probably just suck at dodging lol.

I do like his ability charged up though. Makes the game feel easier. So out of the X series, what do you think was the weapon that had the most practical use?

Those hearts. <3

I loved stealing other player's specialties with those. xD

I love how King Boo and Petey Pirannha can use all specials, including the heart. Double Dash definently needs to be remade on 8th gen con (I miss that game so much [it is gaining so much nostalgia quality now).

Most practical weapon in the X series? I thought there were several, but these two come to mind immediately:

Chameleon Sting (MMX1) - Spread shot and invincibility
Triad Thunder (MMX3) - Good shield and does a lot of damage

I think the Electric Web (MMX4) is one of the most practical. It gives an extra wall-jump that helps reaches for high places.

It was a good weapon for getting around, but didn't do too much damage. It's funny to see Split Mushroom flip out when his by it, though. =p
