I completely missed this, but I worked hard on the set, so I hope you can still except this:

http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/235568-sonic-sound-card-set-2626-finished-set/

it goes with my sonic character in one of my previous posts, the deck list is in that post.

I'll just leave aerosmoke i guess.

ok, i am officially worried about this contest. the creator hasn't posted in a while..........is anyone else worried?

i'm pretty worried. That dude hasn't posted in forever, and now it seems like he won't be coming back... oh noez...

nah, just kidding, guys. XD

i will extend the contest to the end of this week for two reasons:

1. i have a dump truck full of homework flowing out of my backpack and i have yet to start on it. I need time today, so i can't publish the results.

2. some people are freaking out about entering.

i apologize to everyone who is expecting my stuff, but i am not able to deliver today.

to those of you who want to enter, do it nao.

Thank you guys so much. No matter what, this contest will be over by next Sunday.

I appreciate your patience and integrity. ;)

Name: Exo Underwood

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Personality / History: Exo, the only known member of the late Weevil Underwood's family, carries Weevil's tradition of using Insect-Type monsters. He has the traditional light green hair Weevil had, but lets his bangs cover his eyes, hiding his grassy green eyes. Exo stands at 5'3", weighs in at 127 pounds, and has been around for sixteen years. He wants to prove to the world that he's a great duelist, and that the Underwood family is a force to be reckoned with. He travels all over the world just to compete in tournaments and show the glory of Insect-type decks. He has a quite annoying personality; he constantly talks about his relation to Weevil, the Champion of Japan, his "unbeatable" deck (though it has lost time to time), and a lot of other things. If you can get past that, Exo is a great guy who just wants to be a great duelist.

Deck Name: Parasitcal Evolution

Monsters: 21

x1 Supreme Parasite Emperor

(Earth / Insect-Type / Level 8 / ATK: 2700 / DEF: 2000)

This card can be Summoned with 1 tribute if your opponent controls a face-up Insect-Type monster(s). If "Parasite Paracide" is on your opponent's side of the field, all face-up Insect-Type monsters your opponent controls are changed to face-up attack position. Once per turn, you can equip one Insect-Type monster you control to a face-up monster your opponent controls, except this card. A monster equipped with an Insect-Type monster you control has it's ATK reduced to 0.

x2 Supreme Parasite Emperoress

(Earth / Insect-Type / Level 7 / ATK: 2500 / DEF: 1800)

This card can be Tribute Smmoned with 1 tribute if your opponent controls a face-up Insect-Type monster(s). If "Parasite Paracide" is on your opponent's side of the field, it can not be removed from the field while you control this card. Once per turn, you can equip a face-up Insect-Type monster you control to a face-up monster your opponent controls. The controller of the equipped monster takes damage equal equal to half of the monster's ATK during each of their Standby Phases.

x3 Royal Parasite Prince

(Earth / Insect-Type / Level 6 / ATK: 2300 / DEF: 1600)

This card can be Normal Summoned without tributing if your opponent controls a face-up "Insect-Type" monster(s). If "Parasite Paracide" is face-up on your opponents side of the field, this card can attack your opponent directly. If it does, this card's ATK becomes 1000 during the damage step.

x3 Parasite Paraside

(Earth / Insect-Type / Level 2 / ATK: 500 / DEF: 300)

FLIP: Put this card face-up in your opponent's Deck and shuffle it. When your opponent draws this card, it is Special Summoned on your opponent's side of the field in face-up Defense Position and inflicts 1000 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points. Then all face-up monsters on your opponent's side of the field become Insect-Type as long as this card remains face-up on the field.

x3 Drill Bug

(Earth / Insect-Type / Level 2 / ATK: 1100 / DEF: 200)

When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, you can select 1 "Parasite Paracide" card from your Deck, shuffle the Deck and place "Parasite Paracide" on top of the Deck.

x3 Parasite Soldier

(Earth / Insect-Type / Level 4 / ATK: 1700 / DEF: 1000)

If this card is equipped to an opponent's monster, the monster can not declare an attack or activate it's effect(s).

x3 Parasite Caller

(Earth / Insect-Type / Level 3 / ATK: 1300 / DEF: 600)

When this card is Summoned, you can activate one of the following effects:

* Set 1 "Parasite Paraside" from your hand, deck, or Graveyard on your side of the field.

* Flip one-face down you control into face-up attack position.

* Place 1 "Parasite Paraside" in your opponent's deck on the top of their deck.

x3 Parasite Summoner

(Earth / Insect-Type / Level 4 / ATK: 1900 / DEF: 1600)

When this card is Summoned, your opponent draws one card. If this card is equipped to an opponent's monster, when the selected monster is destroyed, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard in face-up defense position.

Spells: 11

x3 Jade Insect Whistle

(Spell / Normal)

Your opponent selects 1 Insect-Type Monster from his/her Deck. After shuffling the Deck, place the card on top of the Deck.

x3 Insect Barrier

(Spell / Continuous)

Your opponent cannot declare an attack with any Insect-Type monsters on his/her side of the field.

x3 Parasitical Transformation

(Spell / Normal)

Select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. While it remains face-up on the field, it is treated as an Insect-Type monster.

x2 Parasitical Haven

(Spell / Field)

While this card remains face-up on the field, "Parasite Paraside" on your opponent's side of the field can not be destroyed by battle or card effects, and it's position can not be changed. In addition to your Normal Summon or Set, you can Normal Summon 1 "Parasite" monster from your hand, once per turn.

Traps:

x2 Lair Wire

(Trap / Normal)

Remove from play 1 Insect-Type monster from your Graveyard and select 1 monster your opponent controls and destroy the selected monster.

x2 Parasitical Rule

(Trap / Continuous)

When your opponent activates the effect of a Spell or Trap card while they control a face-up Insect-Type monster, you can negate that card's effect by discarding 1 Insect-type monster.

x2 Parasitical Rebirth

(Trap / Continuous)

Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Insect-Type monster from your Graveyard in Attack Position. When this card is removed from the field, destroy that monster. When that monster is removed from the field, destroy this card.

x2 Parasitical Destruction

(Trap / Normal)

When your opponent declares a direct attack with an Insect-type monster, destroy all face-up Insect-Type monsters your opponent controls.

Do we also have a promise to you continuing your Fan Fic and Set? xD Well, it probably is going to be a no-brainer the Fan Fic is going to be continued. The Set however, I want moar of. And yes, I do mean like moar. Mainly because it sounds like roar. I like roar. Anywho, thanks for the quick note.

I just hope that my character is accepted into the Fan-Fic. I put a lot of time into him, only to realize Ally of Justice cards were ran in the anime, which I had no idea. (I don't watch TV much =/) I like Allies of Justice because they're really unique and like a paradox. Dark Machine-Type monsters, not light. I like that idea. Like the Fallen Angels or Fabled archetype. =/

No prob, Anbu. ;) and i like Moar too. it does sound like roar. XD

i hope that i can get to moar of these things soon. i just need to finish up an essay and some studying on some history, then i am off to writing some moar. :D

Idane, i love how you are so anxious for this set to continue. :D it makes me happy.

i glanced over your stuff, and that's all i can say. You will have to wait for Sunday. :D

i will start compiling things now, for everyone who is interested.

Thanks, you guys!

Thank you all for your entries to the contest! i appreciate how this thread, for the most part, took care of itself. i took the backseat on this one and really only posted three times since the thread creation. It is a new style for me, but i really liked the end result. The only thing i didn't like about my passive approach to this contest was that i didn't help out the couple of entries that were never completed. I apologize for that, i wasn't on my A-game for those guys.

And, without further ado.....

RESULTS

These will be posted in descending order, ending with the winners.

shelds9: 0/10

Did not complete contest entry. Missing: cards/description of the cards he uses.

Thermatic: 0/10

Your cards are awesome, but you missed the character completely. =\ damn.

abethedemonicsammich: 1/10

The character description here seemed like an insult to the idea of my contest. I stopped reading after that.

TheDarkKingBringerOfDark: 2/10

Not a lot of heart went into this entry, it feels. None of the cards seemed realistic and the character was simple. =\ sorry, man.

.:lolcat king:. : 3/10

The character description was good, relating him back to other characters is one of my favorite things to do. However, the cards were lacking. =\

Lightning Bagon: 4/10

The character seems to have been thrown together last minute with no redeemable qualities, and the cards are a mix of incoherentness to overpoweredness. =\

Blue- eyes white dragon777: 5/10

The character didnt stick to anime lore. =\ the cards were okay, but they seemed underpowered to me.

Naturia Melon: 5/10

These cards have a central theme to them, yet the seem like they are all just support cards. The character is rather simple.

Hila Equitatus Inflectus: 6/10

The cards are interesting, but I would have liked to see a bit more as far as the character goes.

Phoenix19 (entry: Shade): 6/10

The cards are powerful, and his ace is straight broken. The character is simple..

Phoenix19 (entry: Jaxyn): 6/10

This set features Gorz like effects on steroids. Waaaaayyy too broken. But the character was enjoyable. =]

CardcaptorEX: 7/10

The character description was exactly what I was looking for in creativity. However the card concept was executed in a strange way. I don't know if I agree with the result.

master7: 7/10

Lol favorite color red.

The character description was spot on what I was looking for. The monsters themselves had a bit /too much/ synergy to them, if you know what I mean. They all lean on each other like dominos, making them overpowered for my tastes.

Anbu-of-Sand: 7/10

Your set is quirky and out there, which is great. But what did it for me was the sheer power of your cards. They all can work alone, and they all can pose a threat because of it. That's dangerous..

Arashi Idane: 9/10

Great character bio, great connection to the Anime, great style. The cards are well balanced, support each other, and as an added bonus they make an old card work! Awesome entry.

So your winners are:

Third Place: master7 for the character Matthew Goldstain, commander of the Fate Squadron!

Second Place: Anbu-of-Sand and the character Jay Galishimo, wielder of Mysterious Magicians!

And First Place! Arashi Idane for the character Exo Underwood, controller of the Parasites!

Prizes will be handed out shortly. ;)

contest over.

-Kale, out.
