Kingdom Xathers
(I'm actually working on the card image for Neo-Spacian Umbra Panther right now. Anyways....) Neo-Spacian Umbra Panther Level 4/DARK/Beast-Warrior-Type/Fusion/Effect/1400 ATK/900 DEF This card's name is also treated as "Neo-Spacian Dark Panther". This card cannot be Special Summoned except with "NEX". Once per turn, you can select 1 face-up monster on the field. While you control this face-up card, until the end of your opponent's next turn, this card's ATK is increased by half the selected monster's original ATK, and it gets the selected monster's effect(s). Elemental Hero Umbra Neos Level 8/DARK/Warrior-Type/Fusion/Effect/2800 ATK/2300 DEF "Elemental Hero Neos" + "Neo-Spacian Umbra Panther" This card can only be Special Summoned from your Extra Deck by returning the above cards from your side of the field to the Deck. (You do not use "Polymerization".) Once per turn, you can select up to 2 face-up cards on the field. The effect(s) of the selected card(s) are negated until the End Phase of this turn. CommanderVolt
I dont think the -2 for Umbra Panther is really necessary. Maybe make it -1? As it would go, Summon Panther, play NX, then ditch another 2. I guess.... 6/10 for Panther because well... lose alot just to use it's effect/get it out. Umbra Neos = Perfect imo (Effect seems right is what i mean) Link to comment
Kingdom Xathers
Ah, thanks Tuatha. I was wondering whether to make the cost of Panther's effect 1 or 2, or to even give it a cost at all. So, which seems more balanced: (1 Discard to copy Effect) This card's name is also treated as "Neo-Spacian Dark Panther". This card cannot be Special Summoned except with "NEX". Once per turn, you can discard 1 card from your hand to select 1 face-up monster on the field. While you control this face-up card, until the end of your opponent's next turn, this card's ATK is increased by half the selected monster's original ATK, and it gets the selected monster's effect(s). CommanderVolt
Well, honestly, the discard effect makes me think of Aqua/Marine Dolphin. Which that cost didn't get taken away untill it went to Marine Neos. Then Dark Panther which had no cost for his effect, and dark neos negates a monster. Umbra Panther makes me think of savior Star dragon/red dragon/ Thor with their abilties to negate a monster the opponent controls, gain that effect and then gain attack. I think it should be a free effect... I mean, it can be threatening, but i think its also worthy payoff as it's effect is not amazing. Of course, if you want to take a diffirent perspective, you could always keep the -1 for other Hero/Spacian combo's via activating from grave. But imho i think it should be the 2nd choice. Copy Effect for Free. Link to comment

CommanderVolt
Do you feel it's overpowered without it? The discard cost i mean Link to comment
