There was light, the creators of sun. There was darkness, the creators of the moon. There was wind, the mothers of gust. There was earth, kings of nature. There was water, those which slept beneath the sea. There was fire, those which smited with a burning heat. The six gods, Solius, Lunareich, Gustius, Naturi, Nautilus, and Embeross, were all peacefull for many years. The gods kept man from waging war, and the gods refrained from waging wars themselves. This peace upheld for many years. That is, until [i]it[/i] happened. A young man by the name of Kiliom lived in a tribe devoted to Lunareich. They heavily worshipped their god and the darkness he bestowed upon them. However, Kiliom saught differently. He believed that no god should be worshipped. So, over the years, he silently collected the items that he needed to fulfill his wished. First, he obtained a blade made of pure gold. Next, he obtained a pitch-black cloak that made it seem as though a black flame whipped at his back with every step he took. Finally, he obtained a ring made of pure copper. Unaware of what would happen to him, he approached the Luna Alter of his village. It was said the alters were crafted by the gods themselves to give their people a place to pray. Kiliom spread the cloak across the alter, placed the ring in the center of it, and struck the alter through the ring, thus cracking the alter, the ring, and the sword. The darkness of the alter, light of the sword, and power of the ring flowed into him. Lunareich did not suffer as to Kiliom's original plan, but instead, Kiliom became imbued with the power of light and dark, thus becoming the god of twilight, and the most powerful tyrant in the world. He summoned hordes of demons that ravaged villages and entire cities in mere hour. Yet only a glimmer of hope is all which is needed to prevail...[/spoiler] [spoiler=List of Important Cities for Your Character to Visit] Dark- Maelstromm, Killim, Procretiu, Liucum. Light- Protectreant, Hessdet, Uryium, Pvingth. Fire- Ember, Forge, Hearth. Water (Cities only reachable by those of a water tribe)- Nepti, Aquatius. Wind (Cities only reachable via special transportation [Flying if from wind tribe, lifts otherwise])- The City in The Sky, Aerios. Earth- Stonuerj, Cyeart, Mountous.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Rules] 1. Absolutely NO GMing, PPing, or MGing. 2. It's PG-13, keep gore to a minimum. 3. This is NOT a futuristic RP. Guns are not allowed. Swords, axes, bows, etc only. 4. The only NPC's you can control are your character's family, friends/employers of your character, citizens of cities, and guards of cities. 5.To ensure that you've read these rules, type say, "YCM" in your application post. 6. However, after his entire family, nearly entire city, was destroyed by Kiliom's forces, he took on a vow of silence. This happened when he was eight, and he's been living in Killim, occasionally travelling the world, ever since. Weapon of Choice (Magic Allowed): A large greatsword which he named Malaos. It's handle is wrapped in black leather, and the blade is made of extra-hard, dark colored metal. Personality: Devium never speaks. He is shy and does not trust anyone. Her parents, not being very fond of the cold, named their newborn daughter Summer. Summer always loved to play with fire. She burned herself frequently as a child, and still often does. At ten, she learned of her ability to use fire magic after accidentally burning her own clothes off. She managed to cover herself up in time, however. She began to play with her newfound power after getting over her small fiasco. She learned (will learn) different techniques and spells, nearly mastering fire magic. This talent led to Armendi being forcefully recruited into Killiom's Army later that year. For the next two years Armendi was trained for war by one of Kiliom's Generals. At the age of 16, Armendi was officially inducted into the Army. Over the next 7 years Armendi quickly rose through the ranks of Kiliom's Army until he became a member of Kiliom's personal guard. Weapon of Choice: A kopis named [i]Crepusculum[/i] decorated in arcane runes to channel his twilight magic through. Personality: Armendi is extremely loyal to Kiliom and would die for him. Armendi is known to do things on whims. He will betray anybody if it would benefit Kilion. Vale was thus highly respected by his fellow villagers while growing up. At age 16, he was known as one of the village elite fighters. He formed the YCM (Yes Caede Malum) 2 years later. A group of the most elite of Gustius' warriors made to fight evil. Now they only have one person in sight, that being Killiom and his army. Weapon of Choice (Magic Allowed): A golden Gladius named DeAura. When using DeAura Vale becomes substantially quicker in movement because of the infused Wind Magic in DeAura Personality: Vale is a serious guy who is also very cruel and brutal. He only looks for perfection in his army and strives to fight someone powerful. He would leave his own brother, who (Lets say) was wounded in battle, lying on the ground calling for help when he really can be helped. He hates the weak and tries to avoid them. His sole reason to fight evil is that Vale believes people under evil influence are stronger than people who aren't. But Vale believes evil people are only good for fighting against, since they already sold their lives...
