I'm pretty sure my jaw was open the whole time, my mind buzzing with "My god, this is epic". Yup...so epic that even when understanding nothing, I loved everything. The music, the voices, Cubic, the voices, the escalation of destruction, reminding me so much of episode 108 with Placido blasting the world to hell, the voices. Wisel Attack 5... Granted, I also didn't understand most of what everyone was saying, especially between Yusei and his dad, which was probably rather crucial. LSD's anime effect feels contrived as hell, I think Yusei's Speed Spell was stupid unless I missed something obviously detrimental about the card. I think using all the Signer Dragons, five Synchros, was overkill, Yusei turning GOLD was ridiculous, and you realize the entire episode barely progressed the duel OR the plot? At least 149 gave ZONE's backstory which was interesting. That said, Shooting Quasar is epic looking. So yeah, episode 149, which has a seemingly stupid twist that ZONE isn't Yusei, is actually preferred by me until the subs come out. The subs redeemed episode 149, they may do so for 150. Also, it seems unrealistic that Yusei could master "Top Clear Mind", or whatever variant he used this episode without even attempting it before... Maybe it was because he was on his flying D-Wheel... Yusei getting slapped (or any main character, for that matter) is always enjoyable. Episode was cheesy to point of oblivion. Asspulls galore. New LSD effect. Yusei turned GOLD. My mind: "wat. Wat.
