Starting today, Trainers will register to compete for the title of Pokemon Champion for the first time in the Lotus Region!" You switched off the TV and walked out of the room toward's Professor Aspen's Pokemon Research Laboratory in Sienna Town.

Biography: Abel grew up in Umbra Town, a friend and student to the Gym Leader of the Town, Gerard, who specializes in Dark-Type Pokemon. Abel's parents were always kind toward Abel and his decisions, so they were only happy for him when he decided to get his first Pokemon and try to conquer the Pokemon League challenge.

At the time of the eclipse he was hacking a game corner's computer to download a Porygon to his flash drive. He later uploaded it to his laptop so he could get a real Porygon.

Personality: Lyle is a friendly and regularly cheerful person when away from his family. However, he can get angry very easily, and usually tries to take the lead, so isn't very good in a team. However, he works well with pokemon, and can befriend anny pokemon easily, having captured Mew and Celebi, but releasing both when he realised that they shouldn't be tamed.
Biography: Lyle is the younger brother to elite for number 4 of Johto, Karen, Dark type specialist. He has lived in her shadow for years, no matter how great his achievment, she had achieved a better one. He was a talented trainer, defeating all the gyms in the Johto and Kanto regions, but it was nothing compared to Karen, who had defeated all them gyms and all the elite four besides from lance, the Champion, and she became the 4th Elite four after Bertha retired, and has rarely been defeated since, the most notable the boy(Or girl) who also defeated the team rocket remnants and captured Lugia, Ho-oh and the three legendary dogs(Basically, the guy/gal you play in Gold, Silver, Crystal, Heartgold, Soulsilver) Because it is the only region his sister hasn't faced, Lyle has decided to start the Lotus region, and has started it with only two pokemon, both pokemon he has just caught. Since he has just cauught them, they are not very co-operative or strong, giving him the full experience of being a new trainer again.

Appearance - Thomas has Dark Brown hair and gold eyes. He also wears a white shirt and black pants.
Starter Pokemon - Pikachu.
Personality - Thomas is Caring and Friendly towards his friends (both people and Pokemon) and gets really depressed if something bad happens to one or a majority of them (whether they become ill, become kidnapped etc.). He's usually quiet and thoughtful about what's going on around him.
Biography - Thomas is already a well known trainer winning several battling tournaments and even placing very high in the Pokemon leagues. The highest he's placed was second in the recent Kanto league. Thomas has been on his own since the age of 10 when he ran away from home and befriended a Pikachu. Pikachu has been his best friend since they've met and has won Thomas a majority of his battles. During the course of his adventure he's been able to communicate with Pokemon after capturing them. Therefore he only uses his Pokeballs when he needs to catch a Pokemon and soon let's them by him after he's captured them. When he goes to a new region he releases all his Pokemon except for Pikachu and whenever he needs them for battles he travels back to the place where he released them to ask for them to rejoin his team.

Personality: Rambunctious and wild, she prefers to battle using interesting conditions, like something you would see in a Battle Frontier. However, she does have a soft side, and while she comes off as mean, she truly is a kind person. She also has a bit of a conflict inside of her.
Biography: Reine is the daughter of the owner of the famous Cirque d'Arlequin, but she doesn't want to be a ringmaster like her father wants her to be, or even a riding girl, but a clown. However, her wishes have been denied over and over again. By taking some of her father's funds and one of the offspring of her father's prized Charizard, she has managed to run away from Kanto and ended up in the Lotus Region. However, she is using her "clowning around" as a way to release the stress and the conflict between hurting her family and fulfilling her dreams.

Appearance: A rather lanky teenager, with black hair cropped over one of his golden-yellow eyes. He is very pale and loves to comb his hair.

Personality: An anti-hero rival character to Abel from Umbra Town. He is very straightforward about his own abilities as a Trainer, which are above Abel's as he has had a few month's headstart, his mother gifting him the Hitomoshi and Pikachu as birthday presents months before the League was established.
Biography: Rylan is Abel's rival and a skilled beginner Trainer. He plans on becoming the Pokemon League Champion twenty times over before Abel can get his first badge, and is currently getting ready to head into the Red Forest. He is a rather curious Trainer as he will always scour an area for any Pokemon it might have before heading on to the next area, thus slowing his progress, but giving him a greater choice in Pokemon to battle with.

Personality: Hunter can always be talkative and kind with his friends, but when people talk bad about his friends, he can be very dangerous. Hunter sometimes can be a unusual genius, only people with close ties with him can figure out what's going on in his head. He is an awesome technician of machines. He prefers to be swift, and becoming a hotshot. He also can be easygoing with strangers.
Biography:Hunter lives in Sunyshore City with his grandparents and his partner pokemon, Snivy. Hunter's the son of a genius Pokemon trainer, who disappeared after his birth. His mother died giving birth to Hunter. He's a big fan of the Sunyshore Gym leader, Volkner and his battle strategies. As a result, Hunter became a Pokemon trainer, because he made a promise with his grandparents and Volkner, that he will become the best Pokemon Master there will be in all times. When Hunter was little, he was saved by a Luxray from a rampaging Gyarados. Because of that, Hunter wanted not only to be a Pokemon Master, but he wanted all Pokemon to be peaceful and caring. His first pokemon was Snivy, given by an unknown Pokemon Professor.

Biography: Torin Slater was born in Blackthorn City in the Johto Region, and like all Dragon Tamers, he was taught from birth to grow up around and become friends with Dragon-Type Pokémon. Torin is a very calm-minded person, even faced with danger, because he had encountered a rouge Garchomp when he was only 6 years old but managed to hold it off long enough for Kanto's Champion, Lance to show up. Since that day, he aspires to be more like Lance.

Appearance: Daniel has very spiky dirty-blond hair with a yellow patch, though this patch is actually Chu, his Bachuru, who feeds off of his static electricity by riding in his hair. His spiky hair is actually a mullet that has spiked up thanks to Chu. He has striking blue eyes, and a lanky build, being 6'4". He has on a T-Shirt with some sort of funny Pokemon anecdote, a safari vest, jeans, hiking boots, a pair of headphones around his neck that are attached to a hi-tech SilphCo device called a "myPod", and a pair of aviator goggles just above his hairline. He also carries around a backpack that has all sorts of gear, including a special extendable bug-catching net, camera and a laptop.

Personality: Daniel is a bit wacky, but he is good-natured, and never means to do any harm. He loves Bug Pokemon, and is a great nature enthusiast. Founder and Chief Administrator of ThatGuyWithTheGoggles.mon, Daniel started the site when he was 14 so he could help out Bug Catchers (and later Pokemaniacs) everywhere. Founder and Chief Administrator of ThatGuyWithTheGoggles.mon, Daniel started the site when he was 14 so he could help out Bug Catchers (and later Pokemaniacs) everywhere. With helpful information detailing the latest swarms and how to find the rarest of bugs, TGWTG.mon has grown into an Internet powerhouse. With supporting admins "Linkcada", "TheSpinnyOne", and "TheShedinjaSnob", Daniel now has hundreds of thousands of fans across the world and dozens of contributors to his site. He eventually decided to go try out the newly-opened Lotus League, but instead of using his own collection of Pokemon, he asked his followers to send in their baby Pokemon in a contest. He eventually chose a cute little Bachuru, whom he named "Chu". He plans to chronicle his adventures regularly.

I like it! Very good character backstory and what not! You're accepted. I like how deep you went with the backstory because it really gives you room to grow in the story.

Personality: Rambunctious and wild, she prefers to battle using interesting conditions, like something you would see in a Battle Frontier. However, she does have a soft side, and while she comes off as mean, she truly is a kind person. She also has a bit of a conflict inside of her.
Biography: Reine is the daughter of the owner of the famous Cirque d'Arlequin, but she doesn't want to be a ringmaster like her father wants her to be, or even a riding girl, but a clown. However, her wishes have been denied over and over again. By taking some of her father's funds and one of the offspring of her father's prized Charizard, she has managed to run away from Kanto and ended up in the Lotus Region. However, she is using her "clowning around" as a way to release the stress and the conflict between hurting her family and fulfilling her dreams.
