R.P. 820: Prodigious Endeavors IC [PG-13]

R.P. 820 had in the past weeks made it through a lot of trouble, drama, and other such things. And even as things had drawn to a close attack after attack kept coming. But what was important is that the group had managed to stay together. Both Andx and Enzax had both been away from the group during the time for different reasons. Black had come back from the brink of death, and Shadow and Hayate had continued fighting through all the complications. And now they finally had time to take a break. More importantly, they had time to finally allow their minds to register just what all had happened in recent events. Enzax, Andx, and Black all in particular had been through a lot.

Andx had some important information he had managed to obtain during his stay with TPW. Though the group had been safe in their base and the separate dimension it had been placed in, no one had really been ready for the information. For one Enzax seemed rather unapproachable for the first day they were back. A lot seemed to be on his mind. Black had shortly been taken by great exhaustion. Considering all the fighting he had done the same day he had just finished recovering it wasn't too much of a surprise. Hayate and the other still active members did appreciate the opportunity to rest however.

Upon Black nearly passing out Andx had begun busily moving about the base taking charge and preparing the information in a format that would be easy to display to his fellow members. This was a big relief to Hayate who had for awhile been the one to take the lead while Andx was gone and Black was out. Andx's top priority had been to call in for other members to return to the base. The group was decently larger than the five or so that had been around that past few weeks. And Andx knew they'd need more to effectively continue the fight against TPW.

Considering Andx had no way of knowing if the others would receive his messages, just how many he had coming was as of yet unsure. But many had received the message interestingly enough. And they had all for various reasons began the journey to Valdres and eventually onto the base a ways off from the town. The members who had been called had all arrived in Valdres over the recent days and were beginning to be ready to set out for the group's base. TPW and the rebel army had both had minimal activity during the few days. Both had had their local leadership crushed and found operating difficult.

[Shadow Zero]

Shadow walked around the rp 820 base. It was good to be back and resting once again, the first time he had had a chance to do so in a long while. While he had been in exile, he had had to constantly look over his shoulder for both rp 820 and TPW members. Both groups had had orders to shoot on site, although that was normal for TPW. Upon returning, He had had to immediately become busy, first going into Valdres and fighting with Enzax, then fighting against a Black who had yet to regain his memories, and finally during his mission to free Andx's sister. It had taken a lot out of him, and he had spent the first two days afterwards sleeping and recovering his strength. Now he was well rested and ready for action, although he was enjoying the peace and quiet and so didn't want things to start happening just yet. And so it was that Shadow found himself walking around the RP 820 base in his untransformed state, mostly enjoying the quiet, but partly wanting to talk to someone. With that in mind, he decided to find Andx and see if he was available to talk. they hadn't had a chance to catch up, after all, and some recreational conversation couldn't hurt.

[Sploda]

Enzax had experienced quite a few traumatic events recently, the most damaging being the sacrifice of Reala to save him. [i]I promise you, I promise both of you, I won't stop until I've freed you both. [color=red]Who are you kidding Enzax, we both know you can't do it by yourself. Your better off forgetting about those two![/color] No Ciphus, I will save them, I'm sworn to save them. [color=red]Not my problem.[/color][/i]

Enzax had been wandering the hall while having his internal discussion. He had been touchy the first few days back due to the recent trauma and injuries. Even though his injuries were, for the most part, healed, he wasn't in much of a better mood. He was eager to get into the information Andx had, but was repeatedly rebuked and this angered him. That was the reason for Ciphus's recent activity. Enzax just sighed to himself and made his way to the entrance for his turn at the sentry post.

A young man, no older than 16, was reading the report on the recent activities in the city of Valdres. His Black hair, and build was typical for one his age, but his Silver eyes made him stand out. He had on more than one occasion had to fight off groups of girls who claimed to have lost themselves within his eyes. He was currently wearing a very generic Tunic and Leggings to match.

"Yo, Ken! The Boss said he wants you on site in fifteen minutes." A middle-aged man yelled toward the young man.

"Tell him, I'll be there in ten!" Ken replied. He tossed aside the report and laced on his shoes. He darted out towards the warehouse district.

[PrimalFear]

Hayate sat instictively in his lab glaring into the surrounding monitors that laid about his lab. Each monitor recording the current events that where happening inside the base and piercing the demensional fabric to view what was happening surroundng the outside of the base. Stacks of paper work lay acrossed the hard cold tables set out in the room and many devices, mechanical parts chemical parts and other things where strewn all over the room. Hayate kept his eyes peeled more on the surrounding monitors that pierced the demensional fabric then the ones that viewed the inside. He new that Ryaad new the location of the base and it was highly possible that an eminent attack on the base was bound to happen. It had been a long past few weeks with Andx's half witted atempt to betray the R.P. 820 members and join the TPW, then their was Black who had been laying uncouncious for atleast a week out of the time. Then the rejoining of Shadow and the mysterious appearance of The Phantom Duelist.

Everything was running through his mind and he was analyzing even the smallest details of everything that had happened. About a half an hour later he final stood up, leaving the monitors unattended he walked out the broken door behind him. As he turned right he had to climb a set of stairs before he reached where he wanted to be. As he reached the top floor he noticed others going about their normal duties while others where in their rooms asleep and or resting where they could. In perticular Hayate wanted to speak with Andx, who was going about his normal routine after taking his leadership position back from Hayate. Andx was quite busy with getting information about to the rest of the members of the R.P. 820 whop had just arrived in Valdres. Hayate walked toward Andx, "If you have the time I think we should talk about somethings. I know your busy at the moment but it should be clear that we cannot leave things just like this!" From the way Hayate spoke he had hoped Andx new what he was referring too, "If not I could always spell it out for him," Hayate said to himself.

[Proto]

[i]So wait, they've been fighting this war against the TPW and they've only called for reinforcements NOW? Sounds like my team-mates aren't really full of logic... Oh who cares I get to meet them again! [/i]

A young boy, clad completely in brown airaitor clothing, continued wandering around the village of Valdres. [i]They should've at least told me what it looked like! I mean I know that most of the other guys know where they are but really... I know! Maybe if I could just transform a little.. there ougta be guards for the base around here somewhere, then they'll know I'm here! Wait, no.. then they'll just think I'll be some sort of psychopathic buffon who shouldn't be in this operation! ..I guess I can wait here for a while for one of them to show there faces, it's not like the members are hard to sight.[/i] And with that final thought, Proto sat down on a nearby bench, eyeing the roads for a person who knew where the R.P.820 Base was.

[Headmaster Monokuma]

A rather blocky looking fellow was jogging around town (or was it running?) and taking in the random sights. [i]I need to find it. I'm late... I think. This self-made clock doesn't work well anymore. Need some more gold ingots or something. I haven't been able to mine for weeks.[/i] He continued wandering through out the village, seemingly confused, but the mask on his head made it harder to tell. Eventually, he made his way to the village entrance, which he was sure was not where he wanted to be, and turned the opposite direction. He continued to walk, noticing a young boy on a bench who seemed to be waiting for someone. [i]Eh, it's probably not a good idea to bother him,[/i] so he went on his way, continuing to be lost in the area, eventually giving up. He built a workbench and started to tinker with with some iron and flint he had found on his travels to the village.

[Ice.]

Ice walked down a road in a town, taking his time. He eventually reached a set of 3 benches and sat down on one of them. A boy was sitting down 2 benches away from him. Ice took out some coffee and started to drink it, while at the same time moving his scarf behind his back. He sat there for a while, trying to figure out why the boy was there. He eventually finished his coffee and gave up on the kid. He got up from the bench and continued walking. After some time passed, he saw a blocky-looking person on a workbench and smirked. "He-ey, Dane." Ice said in an annoying but friendly voice. He smirked as he looked inside of his empty coffee cup. "So...umm, you can build ANYTHING, right? How about more coffee?" He awaited for the expected "that's impossible" response, but still had some hope.

[Shadow Zero]

Shadow had searched the lower levels of the base, but had yet to find Andx anywhere. As he proceeded to search the upper levels, it occurred to him that reinforcements had been called in, and that they would need help finding the base. After all, He had only known where to find the base due to an invitation with given directions. The others would not likely have been so lucky. As Shadow came out of his train of thought, he noticed Hayate coming out of the security room and climb a nearby set of stairs. Having searched everywhere else, Shadow felt that he should follow Hayate and see where it led him. Fortuinately, it led him straight to Andx, and Hayate seemed to be saying something to him. Shadow waited until Hayate had finished stating what he had to say to Andx before approaching the two of them. "Um, guys? Exactly how are the reinforcements going to find the base? I mean, I don't know that they were given specific directions, and if they weren't then wouldn't someone have to go out and look for them?"

Of course, Shadow didn't want anyone who was a member of rp 820 getting lost on their way. It could lead to trouble for them, and Shadow did not like that notion one bit. Having finished saying his piece, Shadow waited for an answer from either Andx and Hayate. While waiting, a thought occurs to him that hi might as well go and find the reinforcements himself. Of course, nobody said he had to, but there was little else to do at the moment, and he wouldn't mind volunteering himself for the job. That is, unless they had someone else that they felt was better qualified in mind.

[Headmaster Monokuma]

"Ice, you know very well I can't build a liquid. I wish I could, but I can't. Can you imagine the fun I could have with TONS of Molten Lava Buckets? I do, it wouldn't be pretty, but it would be fun." Dane continued to tinker with the iron, hoping to find something new to build, but only came up with the regular Flint and Steel, which hen already had made, taking the materials back, he took out an Iron Ax and proceeded to bash the bench into nonexistence, until a much smaller version of it popped up for Dane to put in his pocket. "I love that. Break just about anything and I get to carry it around in my pocket! Very, very helpful I must say. Aaaaanyway, how have you been Ice?"

Dane reached down and picked up the box, having it automatically disappear into his pocket, along with various other items.

[Ice.]

Ice sighed as Dane said it was impossible to make a liquid. "Stupid limitations..." muttered the boy under his breath. "I've been good, just decided to go for a walk. Well, I left RP 820 for more coffee. I run out of that crap like it's water." Laughed the boy as he was fidgeting with his scarf. Ice had a nervous habit of doing that at times. He didn't care about it, though. Ice looked at his watch and took another sigh. "Oh joy, I'm almost late. You should go too. Building crap isn't going to save you this time." And with that, Ice turned around and started to walk off towards the distance, getting ready to go back to RP 820. [i]"I wonder what was up with that kid on the bench. He surely wasn't dressed like a normal bystander. I wonder..."[/i] Ice thought. He turned around and walked back to Dane. "Uh, hey, dude, did you see some extremely awkward kid sitting on a bench before?"

[Headmaster Monokuma]

"You should really slow down with the coffee Ice. It could be considered a problem you know." Dane took another look at his watch, but still couldn't decide if he was late or not. "You know, this watch is really terrible. I'm starting to wonder why I even bothered with it. Oh yeah, gold has no other use. Anyway, yeah, I noticed a kid sitting on a bench. Not sure what he was doing. Let me guess, you want to go find him, right? Well then, let's go." Dane quickly stood and walked back the way he had came, hoping to see said kid once more.

[Ice.]

"Coffee is not a problem. It's a gift. That I take advantage of." Ice retorted as he followed Dane. "Sooo...why are you always in your Minecraft form thing. Chill for once. Be normal." Ice then looked at the floor as they continued walking, only to know that his recommendation would be in vain. "Whatever, I need more Coffee. Might as well become Godot and abuse the unlimited coffee cup thing." Muttered Ice as he was shaking the Coffee Cup upside-down, seeing if there was any coffee left. He sighed and continued to the benches, only to see the boy there. "Yo, kid, what's up." Yelled Ice as he walked up to him. [i]"Real smooth, Ice. That was brilliant. You're such an idiot. Why don't you seem even more intimidating and idiotic next time. How about you throw the coffee cup at him!"[/i]

[Proto]

[i]Okay... so I've established that destroying the base to show off my new powers would not be a good first impressi-[/i]. "GAH! Oh... sorry didn't see you there." [i]Interrupt my inner monologue will you? Alright, what would be a good way to test if he's a R.P.820 member...[/i] The boy pondered this for a few seconds before turning to the teenage man beside him. "Oh, nothing much.. just looking for something. Hey, you wouldn't happen to see a base full of transforming actors here would you?" [i]Real smooth Dell, now he either thinks your insane or that you're just a incompetent child who happens to have a couple of fancy tricks![/i]

[The Warden]

Through the northern entrance of the town, a new traveller entered the town of Valdres. He was unusually pale, despite being on the road for two days. His coat had mud caked at the hem, with his boots in need of a polishing. His pinstripe pants were okay however. [i]'Here is the place I seek, the place for people like- SIMILAR to me'[/i] he thought. Casually, he walked around the town, keeping an ear out for the RP 820 base. His quiet observation allowed him to catch sight of an unusually blocky man, something quite uncommon. This was a good lead. With casual grace he changed direction to follow the strange man, which lead to him and his companion to speak to a boy on a bench. [i]'They must be the RP members, I'll keep my pace'[/i] he thought and looked around. He a wall which would give him a decent view without seeming suspicious.

[Headmaster Monokuma]

"If you say so Ice, I do not believe coffee equals amazing powers. As for your other question, Minecraft is f***ing awesome. What other game would give me the ability to fight with dirt? Or sand? Or even a feather? Besides, I [b]abhor[/b] being in my normal appearance in public. I can't stand it." Looking away from Ice, he turned to the boy, with a look of interest on his face. Well, as much a look of interest one can give when wearing a mask anyway.

"Quite blunt, aren't you? I like that. At least, now I do. May not tomorrow. To answer your question, no. I was looking for the same, and I assume my friend here was as well. After all, it's preeeeety obvious I'm not 'normal', oh how I hate that word. Anyway, your name?"

[Proto]

"Uh... well that's interesting.. it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who doesn't know where the place is. Anyways, my names Proto... Well that's not my given name entirely, it's just what people call me nowadays. Though I don't really think I'm much of a machine, Proto sounds like a mechanical sorta thing.." [i]Well at the very least I'm not the only one who's a little confused about this.. These guys seem okay, though the masked one is sorta weird, then again this IS a club where people transform into different beings so I suppose he could be considered normal.[/i] Proto pushing himself off of his seat and began gazing around. "C'mon, I know they don't want to be found and stuff, but they could've at least given us a hint or something, alright, you two know what the base might look like?"

[Headmaster Monokuma]

"It could be ANYWHERE! After all, they could have enemies on their tail, so they had to hide it because they couldn't get them off of one guy. It could be an underwater waterfall! A giant flying peach! A castle! Who knows? If I were them, I would make it a base covered in lava covered with water, but I guess they can't do that..." Dane pulled out his workbench again and placed it on the ground, preparing to build something.

"Do you think that the castle has it's own magnetic pull? If it does, I could build a compass, and the pull 'should' attract the compass to it. Likely won't work... Why didn't they just have someone here to take us to the castle?"

[Sploda]

Enzax had just finished his watch and was going to go find Zero to have them switch. [i]Perhaps I'll ask one of them to go into town to find the reinforcements. After all TPW will still know my face so it would be unwise for me to go...[/i] Enzax began to ascend the stairs as he thought of possible ways to contact the reinforcements.

Ken was nearly to the warehouse district. He had no idea what his boss wanted with that area, but it was probably something that would make him profit. [i]As long as I can make enough money to buy that gift, I'll be fine with whatever I have to do. That is as long as I don't have to kill anyone or something like that.[/i] Ken turned his head for a bit to see what he was running by. he saw a strange figure near a workbench with a couple of other people nearby.

[i]What is with those guys?[/i]

[Andx]

Andx had been sitting, sifting through the data he wished to present soon with the use of a small computer. Normally around this time in the mid morning this is where he was, busily typing away and rearranging things on the computer. As of late his routine had him checking on the base and Black's condition early in the morning, working on the data mid-morning, spending some time with his sister in his room for lunch, and trying to obtain contact with the reinforcements he had called. Around four in the afternoon each day he went into the training room asking that he not be disturbed for the hour. Other than that he wasn't transforming all that much during the day. The others never saw a whole lot of his sister who had been at the base since her rescue. While Andx of course trusted his friends he was protective of her, and rightfully so after what had recently gone on. As he was working he paused for a moment and saw Hayate approaching. He stood up to greet him.
"Of course, I'm available to talk over whatever you need. Please forgive my forgetfulness but I believe I will need a bit of a reminder as to what you mean." Andx said. Right as he finished Shadow approached wondering about the members who he had called and how they might get them to the base.

"I understand the concern Shadow. However you don't need to worry. I'm not sure you've paid much attention to what he's been doing, and he may well prefer you don't pay him much attention, but Phantom has been going to Valdres each day to see if he couldn't find those I called. He left early this morning. He should be there about now. If anyone has shown up Phantom will bring them in." Andx said.

There was a strange man moving through Valdres. Not that anything seemed particularly different about him. He just dressed differently was all. He went around in all white. A suit, slacks, but even a top hat and cape. All of this he wore and all of it was white. And he went around with what seemed liked a cane, though it seemed to be a bit long for him. He seemed to have his own definite pace about things and was very polite, even to people he didn't know but happened to pass on the street. Of course he had to be friendly. This man was on a quest. Well more of a search. R.P. 820 members were sure to be showing up in Valdres any time and as one of the original founders, The Phantom Duelist saw it only right he should make sure they made it to the rest of the group safely.

As of yet Phantom's search had not gotten him very far. No one was around, it was as simple as that. But Phantom had a feeling things were going to be different today. And sure enough that feeling was right. He quickly saw a rather odd looking group of three people around some benches conversing. One was a young boy, the others seemed slightly older. One person seemed rather oddly shaped. And Phantom knew right there he had found them. He walked over towards the group and took note of a fourth person not too far off that seemed to be interested in finding the group as well.
"Hello there gentlemen." Phantom said removing his hat and making a quick bow. He quickly placed his hat upon his head.
"You all seem curious about something, that's for sure. I couldn't help but feel that you all might be members of a certain group of actors who live not too far off from this town. If you do happen to belong to this group, I am here to lead you to their dwelling place. If you are not, so sorry to bother you. I do tend to let passing courtesy change to full on conversation." Phantom said.

[PrimalFear]

Andx started to speak and it remained clear that he wasn't exactly sure what Hayate was referring too. Then Shadow approached and asked about the members who where coming, Andx clearily explained that Phantom was all ready sent out early in the morning to see if he could find anyone of them. After Shadow had gotten the information he needed about the situation Hayate started to speak again. "Well its a bit of a two part convorsation really the first I'd rather speak to you alone about the second is acctually part of what Shadow just talked about. i need some help with my work on the new recruits key's to this demension, furthermore I would strongly suggest a meeting be the first thing we do once everyone has arrived in order to explain some things related to this base, and its current location, other then that I'm sure Black and yourself would like to brief them about the situation and figure out our main positions." Hayate's leg still hurt slightly and today was one of the few days that it was more visabile. He waited for Andx's reply before saying anything else.

[Shadow Zero]

Shadow shrugged at the response that Andx had given him in response to his question about the reinforcements. It looked like they wold be arriving shortly, and Shadow decided that he would rather see the new recruits when they arrived rather then anything else at the moment. Andx seemed to be busy anyway, and the two of them could always catch up later. Heading down the stairs and towards the front of the base, Shadow passed by Creator. He paid him no mind and continued on his way, and within the next couple of minutes was at the door leading to and from the base. Double checking to make sure that his key chip was ready and finding it in his inside pocket where it always was, Shadow walked outside of the base and sat on the ground to the side of the door, waiting for Phantom to return with the others.

[Blake]

[i]"Agh, my head hurts...."[/i] was the first thought to enter Black's mind as he awoke. He looked around, and saw that he was in his room at the base. [i]H-how did I get here? Last thing I remember is the fight.... Ah well, not really an issue...[/i] He stood up, and held his head in his hand as he did such. All of his curtains were drawn, and he was unsure what time of day it was. He walked over to the chair next to his desk, and pulled his coat off of it. As he shrugged into the trench coat, he reached for his hat, and adjusted it. "Alright," Black mused aloud, "First things first, I need to speak to Andx and check on our men." With that, he walked out to find his right hand man.

[Headmaster Monokuma]

Dane had been waiting for Ice or perhaps the other boy to reply to the man, but seeing that they weren't planning on it, he spoke up. "Well, considering we don't know this town, and we are in fact looking for a group of people, I would welcome your help. Unless, my friend here has a problem with that." He said this as he turned to Ice.

[i]I don't know if we can trust this man, but we don't have any leads as to where these people are located. Even this young man has no idea where they are.[/i] Dane continued to tinker around with the bench, placing thirty-six gold ingots on it to form four pure golden blocks. [i]Wish gold had some uses besides golden apples and watches. Right now they're pointless...[/i]

[Andx]

"...Thank you for the... input." Andx said initially to Hayate. He sounded rather distracted but also like he was just about to finish something as well and was waiting for the second it would happen. He nodded once and then closed the small laptop he had been working with. He sighed once and said something with the sigh that sounded something like "about time" or something to that effect. He closed his eyes for a second and then opened them, now refocusing on Hayate and what he had said.

"Right. The other members will be needing access into the base. Now that the info's ready I should have time for other things. Of course a meeting will be very soon in comin... oh right! Black! Almost forgot to go check up on him. He's been getting closer to full consciousness the past few days, he might be getting up any hour now for all we know. Right then. Hayate, thank you for all the work you put into keeping this place safe. Don't hesitate to ask for help with the tech and other things. I'm sure Enzax will be able to help. Now you must excuse me for the moment as I go check on Black. Unless of course you'd like to come as well. Gives us more time to talk." Andx said.

With that he got up from the desk he had been sitting at and started moving off towards Black's room. To Andx's surprise as they approached they saw Black himself walking out of his room. Seems he was done with being out of commission.
"Black! You're up!" Andx said as they came near.

"Excellent gentlemen. Now if all three of you would be so kind as to follow me we'll be right off on our way." Phantom said as he began off to the north of town in the direction of the R. P. 820 base. Though a little reluctant to trust the man, the three all followed him. The journey was rather quiet for the beginning. Nothing much passed between Phantom and the group he was currently leading. When one tried to speak up Phantom would politely tell them that everything could be answered outside of the city.

And before long they were at the city's limits. They passed on through the northern exit and after going a little ways off from town Phantom stopped and turned around to face the group he had gathered.
"Gentlemen I The Phantom Duelist, co-founder of R. P. 820, would like to welcome you all. Or perhaps it's welcome you all back? I wouldn't know. I'm out enough myself I hardly know the newer members. Sorry for the lack of info inside the city. But talking too much at the moment would seem a little unwise. Now then, are you all quite ready to head off to the base?" Phantom said. As he did so he tapped his cane to the ground, a magic circle of sorts starting to form underneath his feet as he did so.

[Sploda]

Enzax had just reached Andx's location as he left Hayate. "Andx, its almost time." Enzax said as they crossed paths. He had over heard the last bit of the conversation with Hayate and went to talk to him.

"Hayate, I know you have the best for the group in mind, but I thought you would like to know something I found out while researching your device." Enzax stated as he pulled out a small computer. He pushed a button and a series of data tables appeared. "According to these readings, the more of these keys within the base area at a time, the more strain there is placed on the base. When the strain becomes to much the base will collapse, either physically or into another dimension, or possibly even both."

"Now there is another matter to discuss involving this technology." Enzax continued as he brought one of his Caliber Gauntlets out to show Hayate. "If we could adapt the technology I think we could finish this equipment here. But there will be risks that can't be avoided."

Ken had managed to arrive at the site in eleven minutes, but he wouldn't tell his boss that. His boss was in charge of cleaning up an old warehouse that had exploded a few days ago. No one knew why it had been destroyed, although there were rumors that TPW and a rebel faction had fought here the day before. The boss tried his best to quell the rumors but it had little overall effect.

"Ken, I need you to get into the middle of that stuff and look for anything valuable. If an inspection team shows up, hide, I don't want trouble for hiring an underage worker."

"Sure thing boss." Ken replied after catching his breath. He then jogged over to the pile of debris and began to crawl all over it. He looked for several minutes with no success, he was about to go back for a drink when a gleam caught his eye. Ken dove for it and dug for what seemed like forever. When he uncovered the object he found a Sword, half way within it's sheath, it appeared to already be rusting everywhere except the hilt. [i]I wonder what this is doing here.[/i] ken thought to himself.

Ken took what little else he could find and went back to the boss, knowing the only real thing of worth was the blade.

Meanwhile the boss was perplexed, he had an inspection crew coming by but he didn't know when. He wanted to clear the valuables out before they got there otherwise the governor of the city would get them upon inspection. [i]I wonder what Reala would say if she knew Ken was doing this? She would never agree to endangering her brother like this.[/i]
