[color="#800080"]"Thanks, and you too." Alex ventured back out into the world from the Pokemon Centre and went back over to the Gym.[/color]
[color="#800080"]"Alright then, I don't know how else to say this, but here goes...Leader Zasuka, I hereby formally challenge you to a Gym Battle!" Alex declared, feeling a strange mixture of confidence and nervousness. "Well, when you're ready, I mean..."[/color]
[color="#800080"]Alex sent Beldum out and he clanged once more. "Alright Beldum, you have to be ready to do that technique we thought up, okay?"[/color]

[color="#800080"]Alex nodded in agreement, then returned him to his ball. He was ready for just about anything.[/color]

"So, Skarmory, How many pokemon do you think we'll need to face the gym leader?" Sean asked his Skarmory. "I think 3, but if we run into a fourth, that would be good. Actually, yeah 4, because I would get ripped apart out there." The pokemon replied.[i]Okay, Sean began to think, Let's see if all the studieng payed of. If i'm correct, then grass has resistance aginst electric types, so I'll catch one of those first. "[/i]Okay Skarmory, we're heading to the forest. Excited, Trapinch burst out of his Pokeball. "Oh, great, a trouble maker." Skarmory said under his breath. "Let me scan you, okay little guy." Sean said to the Trapinch. "Okay, but don't call me 'little guy' got it?" "Yep." sean replied, taking out his pokedex to scan with. "Scanning, Scanning, Subject:Trapinch Abnormalities:Skin Color Gender: Male Level:28 Abilitie:Hyper Cutter Moves: Mud Shot, Bug Bite, Sand Tomb, Faint Attack, Sand Attack, Bite. Scan Complete. Shutting Down." "Alright! You can defend one of your weaknesses with Bug Bite!" Sean, also very excited ran into the forest, knocking a Shroomish into the lake it was drinking from. Enraged, The Shroomish used bullet seed at Trapinch, almost knocking it out. "Oh ya wanna hurt my friend eh, then taste My Aerial Ace!" Skarmory flew into the air, then slashed the Shroomish, so hard, some tailows in the nearby trees flew off. "Um, okay, you look fistey. Go, Pokeball!" 1.....2.....3.... BING! "Yes, just one more pokemon to go! Let's see, the next type i should catch is Dragon, but those are super rare, so I'llcatch whatever pokemon i find next!" Sean said, as he took out his Pokedex to scan Shroomish. "Subject:Shroomish Abnormalities:None Gender:Female Level:20 Ability:Effect Spore Moves:Leech Seed, Tackle, Absorb, Bullet Seed, Mega Drain, Stun Spore. Scan Complete. No longer searching for abnortalities. Shutting Down." The pokedex screen went blank. "Alright, let's catch a pokemon to counter act one of..... Shroomish's weaknesses! That would be a Rock type pokemon. Back to Source Cave!" When they got there, Skarmory said: "Can I not have to go in this time?" "Sure. I know you like to be able to strech your wings. I want you to train while you wait though." "Okay", Skarmory replied, but Sean was already in the cave.

"Geez, where is everybody? I want to use Bullet seed or something" Shroomish complained. "Oh, look, there's a Lairon. He's rock type. Shroomish, use Bullet Seed. Trapinc, use Bite!" The two Pokemon launched their attacks, and they hit, but they did not catch the pkemon off gaurd. He had already known they were There. The Lairon retaliated with an Iron Defense, followed up by a Iron Head, slamming Trapinch into the wall and knocking it out, "Didn't your mother ever teach you it's not fair to team up on a Pokemon?" Lairon Taaunted, getting ready another Iron Head attack, then using it. But this time, Sean was way ahead of it. "Shroomish, jump into the air, then use Mega Drain!" The Lairon Charged, but only hit hard rock, almost knocking it out. To finish it off, the Shroomish jumped into the air and Drained the rest of its health. "Go, Great Ball. Such a powerful pokemon needs a more powerful pokeball." 1.....2.......3...... Bing! "Alright, Let's scan you", Sean said, Already turning on his pokedex. "Subject:Lairon Gender:Male Level:33 Ability:Rock Head Moves: Iron Head, Iron Defense, Tackle, Roar, Mud Slap, Harden, Headbutt, Metel Claw, Take Down. Scan Complete shutting down." "He might nt listen to me, but i hope he does!" Sean said, walking out of Source Cave. "Skarmory, take us to the city." "Alright. It feels alot heavier!" Skarmory complained, taking off and heading towards the city. Whne they landed, he first healed up his pokemon, then walked to the gym alll the people were nearby. "Whar's up?" Sean asked.

Zasuka speedily healed her Pokemon with a few potions. A Gym Leader never went anywhere without 'em. She returned all three, and kept one of the three Pokeballs firmly held in ther hand. "I'm ready!" She declared, in response to Alex's challenge. "You first." She called. She prefered letting her opponent go first, in both atacking and bringing out. It was just her way. And it wasn't for planning stratergies. She was just being polite.

"What's up?" Azura turned around as somebody said that. "The gym leader and Alex are about to have a gym battle. That's what is up." She responded, gesturing to the readying trainers behind her. "If you are planning to fight Zasuka, the Gym Leader, you'll have to wait for a while. Alex is fightin her, then Anderson, then it'll be you." She told him. "So I suggest perhaps finding something to do to pass the time. Perhaps train your Pokemon so you are ready to fight?"

[color="#800080"]Alex tossed the ball into the air and a stream of blue light emerged ((OOC: This is to coincide with Best Wishes. Go ahead and look it up.))[/color]
[color="#800080"]"Alright, Lady Zasuka, I hope you give it your all! Like my Pa always said, 'Nobody ever got anywhere by holding back!'"[/color]
[color="#800080"]Well, in actuality, Alex's father had never said this, he just wanted to say something cool like that to the Gym Leader. ((OOC: This will eventually morph into his training philosiphy--Nobody's gone anywhere holding back, and plenty of people have gone nowhere by pushing too hard.)) Alex was also eager to see Zasuka's strategy, as he had heard you couldn't become a Gym Leader simply by slacking off.[/color]

Zasuka groaned inwardly. "[i]Great.... A ground Type. Just what I didn't need. Damn.[/i]" She gripped her Pokeball a bit tighter, as if drawing confrot from the Pokemon inside. "Go, Manectric!" She called. The blue light shot out from the pokeball, revealing her stronger companion. It took up a ready battle stance, and observed Morgurew from it's distance, as if measuring it's strangths and weaknesses. It growled, it's mane sparkling with small electric sparks. "You first." Zasuka called to Alex.

"Hey, What about you?" Sean said, as he turned around to face Azura. He wondered what she thought about him. "Do you want to battle me? I have some new pokemon i realy want to try out. Plus i think they could use some training before fighting the gym leader. Plus, some of them might not listen to me. So, what do you say?" Sean was hoping she would say yes, because he realy had not battled a real person, besides his friend. He began to actually look at the girl. Sean thought she was very pretty. He wondered if Azura thought he talked to much. He also wondered if Azura was a Pokemon Cordinatar. "So, what do you say?"

Azura smiled. "Sure, I'll battle you! And if some of your Pokemon don't obey, don't worry! My Steelix doesn't really obey me yet either. And this will be great practise for the battle segment of my Pokemon Contests!" She took the Pokeball containing her Milotic, and gripped it in her right hand. "Shall we begin?" She asked. Azura as really looking foward to the battle. The extra training would be helpful, so she could somehow gain more of Steelix's obedience. And improve her tactics with Milotic. Better to practise.

Kazuya stood outside the entrance of the source cave, looking around quietly before throwing a pokeball into the air, a fossil pokemon, Archeos, coming out from the pokeball as it falls back into his hand. "Guess there's nothing important over here, Archeos.. time to fly.." he then says quietly as the pokemon swoops down while he holds his arms out, the pokemon grabing each of his arms just past the shoulders before flying upwards carrying him on it's back while it moves through the air upwards then flying around the mountain, the pokemon holding Kazuya's arms tightly to make sure he had no chance of falling out of it's grip. "I think we'll see if anyone there knows anything" Kazuya then says pointing to Debris Town ahead of them the pokemon heading towards the town quickly at a slight angle, Kazuya's expression calm despite them being in the air held only by his arms.

[color="#800080"]Drilbur's claws glowed bright white and he struck them against eachother repeatedly, sharpening them to a keen edge.[/color]
[color="#800080"]Alex stared intently at the Manectric. It wasn't anything special, but he still didn't wish to underestimate his first major opponent.[/color]
[color="#800080"]Alex would have taken out his Pokédex to scan it, but he decided against it, wanting to be surprised by Zasuka's strategy.[/color]

[color="#FF8C00"]Desiree sat outside the Debriment Side of Source Cave, clutching a Great Ball and Friend Ball in her hands. She placed them on the ground and scanned her two new Pokémon.[/color]

[color="#FF8C00"]"Umm...Excuse me..." She tapped the shoulder of another young girl ((OOC: Azura)). "Umm...Do you...Know where the nearest contest is?"[/color]
[color="#FF8C00"]She then noticed she was about to battle, then sank back and blushed in embarrassment.[/color]

"Alright! Let's do this!" Sean decided that he would use Trapinch first. "Go Trapinch. I Realy hope your pokemon are ready, cause Trapinch is pretty powerful. Don't let his color fool you at all." Sean hoped this was right. He had a feeling that she would send out Milotic. She said that she had a Milotic, so he thought she would send it out first. Well, being voted most tactical student in his class, he had already thought this out. Sean had explained what do to against any type, he just hoped Trapinch remembered the codes for the attacks. Sean thought he would test it out. "Trapinch, Rock Storm 3!" Trapinch started collect rocks around him and grinding them up.
