John approached a large cave. "Hm according to the Poke-Gear this is the Source Cave...of what? Aw well come on dude maybe we'll find some pokemon..."

30 Yards in the cave...
"Phew it's dark!" Suddenly a Red light was wafting towards John and Snap the Totodile
"Hello? who are you?"
"...MAGBY!" an Ember was shot at the two "Oy why isn't it registering on the translator?" "[i][color="#0000FF"]Well maybe Mr.Trigger happy is establishing dominance and well the translator may be high tech but it can't translate everything.[/color][/i]"
"Oh well thanks dude now let's retaliate! Snap! Water Gun!" a torrent of water was sprayed at Magby.
"[color="#FF0000"][i]Take my Ember![/i][/color]" "Blast! Steam! Grr Snap try...Rage."
"[i][color="#0000FF"]Ok...Roar I'm so enraged![/color][/i]" "[i]This ought to 'Bamboozle' Magby over there.[/i]" Meanwhile Snap was Trashing at everything all red-faced.

"Now for a Tactical advantage..." John then threw a rock at the Magby despite the cavern was still full of steam

[color="#800080"]As Alex stepped out of the cave, he noticed neither was following him. His attention drifted to Azura. She was staring at the ground. "Hey, you okay? Are you...Did I ask too much? I'm sorry, if I did...Really..."[/color]

Azura looked back up. "No, nothing is wrong. I just drifted off..... I do that a lot. Especially after the Earthquakes." She cut off there. She figured that explaining further would get her another drift off, like always. And she usually missed things when she drifted off. "Let's go!" She said cheerfully. Once they got to Debriment Town, she could heal Steelix, and see if it obeyed her or not. She had noticed Ononokus's comment, and she sure hoped Steelix wouldn't act like that. She'd also get to watch the gym battles. She might pick up some new combos for fighting in the battle rounds of her contests. That would be helpful, to say the least.

[color="#800080"]Beldum readied [/color][color="#800080"]Iron Head, Iron Defense, and Zen Headbutt all at once, then rocketed into a tree, snapping it in half, before the removed half splintered into one-thousand-and-six pieces.[/color]

[color="#800080"]Mogurew readied his claws, glowing white before becoming metallic. He swung them in an arc, slicing a boulder in half.[/color]

[color="#800080"]"Ono...KUS!"[/color]
[color="#800080"]Ononokus readied a green orb in his mouth before shooting it at Alex, forcing him to jump in the air.[/color]

[color="#800080"]"Fine, be that way! Not like you can go back. They didn't even want you anyway."[/color]
[color="#800080"]This struck a strained chord with Ononokus. She snapped. She reared her head and the ground shook as she roared.[/color]

"Yeah, I'm ready to go... Wait a minute..." said Anderson. He clicked a few buttons on his Pokedex and threw a Great Ball to his left. *wiggle* *wiggle* *wiggle* *click* "Well, a Lairon. Come out Lairon!" said Anderson."Lairon?" (What just happened?) Anderson replied, "I caught you. It was a very lucky shot. Anyway, I'm scanning you." [b]Processing...Processing...Analysis Complete. Subject-Lairon, Male, Level 18, Known Moves: Iron Defense, Body Slam, Metal Claw, Protect, Double Team Ability: Rock Head. Nature:Bold.[/b] "Okay, I'm ready to go now." said Anderson

John was eager to check his newly acquired pokemon's stats "Hm let's see Dexter says" "[b]Magby: the Live Coal pokemon. Magby has magma like blood circulating throughout it's body due to that it's boody temperature can top 1,100 Degrees Fahrenheit. Moves: Smog,Ember,Low Kick, and Canon[/b]" "Canon? what's that? Magby use Canon and fire over there (Points to where the A-Team is right now)" "MAAAAAAAAGGGGGBYYY" Magby charged up sound waves then let loose a sonic Cannon firing towards where John had pointed. With a big kaboom John wanted to see if he hurt anyone so he went to look.

Xavier saw something move out of the corner of his eye and stopped right away. It was blue which was weird. Xavier looked at his Poochyena.
"Let's see what it is," Xavier told him.
They went over to it, and saw that it was a Phanpy. Xavier smiled at this, knowing he could catch it.
"Go, Poochyena," Xavier said.
Poochyena jumped in front of Xavier and growled. 'Yena!"
"Poochyena, Tackle," Xavier exclaimed.
Poochyena ran right into Phanpy, knocking it backwards a little, but not doing enough damage. Phanpy got back on its feet. Phanpy started to tackle Poochyena.
"Poochyena, dodge it and Tackle it," Xavier said.
Poochyena obeyed, jumping over Phanpy right before Phanpy slammed into it. Poochyena reeled around and ran straight into Phanpy's trunk. This time Phanpy staggered and fell over.
"This is my chance," Xavier told himself. "Where did I put the PokeBalls?"
He unhooked one and threw it at the Phanpy, who was still trying to get up. It clicked once, then another, and then the final one, and Xavier caught the Phanpy. Xavier picked up the PokeBall and released Phanpy. He took out his PokeDex, registering the data.
[i]Phanpy, Male, Level 10. Known moves are Tackle, Growl, Defense Curl, and Take Down.[/i]
It put Phanpy back in his PokeBall and put it back on his belt. He bent down and rubbed his Poochyena behind the ears.
"Let's go see if we can find anybody around here," Xavier told it.

"Yeah, I'm ready!" Azura said, puttig Steelix's Pokeball in her pocket. When they exited the cave, she'd just nip off to Pokemon Centre. It would only take a moment or two. Then she could go watch the two boys do the gym. Last she checked, it was Electric, so it was a good things she wasn't doing Gyms. Milotic, however strong her best buddy was, would be felled. Quite quickly. And Azura still wasn't sure that Steelix would obey her, with it's high level. So Azura was glad that her first contest was in the next town on, giving her time to gain Steelix's trust, and train up some strong combo's, beauty or otherwise.

[color="#800080"]Alex sat in the lounge of the Pokemon Centre, waiting for his other friends to be done. He felt that Mogurew and Beldum were ready, and Ononokus was as ready as she'll ever be.[/color]
[color="#800080"]"Okay, Anderson. Do you want to have the honors of the first battle, or shall I?"[/color]
[color="#800080"]Beldum clinked and clanged in anticipation. Mogurew scraped his claws impatiently. Ononokus sharpened her tusks and claws meticulously.[/color]
[color="#800080"]Alex could tell Anderson's Pokemon were ready as well. Gligar was a powerful battler, Lairon was always a good Pokemon, but Porygon...Porygon could run into issues. The electricity could cause difficulties for the synthetic Pokemon. Who knows what it could do to his coding.[/color]
[color="#800080"]Alex gripped his badge case tight. He was going to win. He was going to win it all.[/color]

The Nurse Joy handed back Steelix's Pokeball. "All healed!" She beamed brightly. "Thank you!" Azura said cheerfully, walking off. She fingered Steelix's Pokeball. It would be wise not to bring it out yet. Instead, she would bring it out for the first time out of the Pokemon Centre. Less damage would then be done to the buildings, though from what she'd seen so far, not much could be don to destroy them more. Lots of the buildings were all ready debris and rubble, except a few. So now the Gym stood out like a sore thumb, but more yellow and less red. The Pokemon Centre stood out too.

"[I]MUM![/I]" Zasuka groaned. "Can you just.... I dunno...... Let me be? I can take care of this myself." Zasuka's mum sighed. "But you're exhausted, let me take over." Zasuka sighed. "No mum. The Gym is my responsibility now. If it is damaged, it is up to me to fix it. That's what father said. And my Pokemon can handle it. They told me themselves." As they spoke, the chunk of roof that had fallen off was slowly rising into the air via pulleys. Pulling the ropes that attached to the pulleys were Zasuka's Pokemon, pulling with all their might. Zasuka, dismissing her mother, picked up the fourth rope, and began pulling. Within moments, she was huffing and puffing, not that she would stop. She was too stubborn to do that.

Anderson replied to this "I think I'll get this one second. You can face the odd numbered gyms first. I'll take the even numbered ones first. I know you would expect Porygon's coding to be messed up by Electric-Type attacks. They actually put a lot of codes to prevent short circuiting because of Electric-Type attacks. I can show you the results from the scan. Come out Porygon!" [b]Processing...processing...Analysis Complete. Subject-Porygon, Gender Unknown, Level 15, Normal Type, Confirmed Attacks: Confuse Ray, Confusion, Ice Beam, Conversion, Shock Wave. Ability: Download. Nature: Modest[/b] "Also, if you see an Upgrade, would you mind a trade and trade back to evolve Porygon? Anyway, I would rather sit back and watch the leader's strategy." said Anderson.

[color="#800080"]"Okay then, that sounds like a deal." And so, Alex headed off for the Gym, which was at the center of a large crater that was strewn with debris.[/color]
[color="#800080"]As he approached, he saw a girl in bright clothing pulling a long rope. There were three Electric-type Pokemon around her. Alex soon realized she was the Gym Leader, and he immediately rushed over.[/color]
[color="#800080"]"Uh, Excuse me, miss Zasuka, but do you need any help? My Pokemon and I could help with...Whatever it is that you're doing."[/color]
[color="#800080"]It was at this precise moment that Alex noticed the gaping hole in the Gym's roof.[/color]
[color="#800080"]"Oh, everybody, c'mon!" Alex ushered the others over with a sense of urgency.[/color]

"Huh?" Zasuka was rather surprised to see someone else, with same Pokemon number as her, offering assistance. She thought about it for a second, before nodding. "If you'd like to help it'd be great." Letting go of the rope for a moment, she tied new ropes to the roof section, then threw them over he pulley. The ends now dangled within reach. "We need to get this roof bit, over to that hole, which you've noticed. But first, we need to get it properly off the ground." She began pulling on her rope again. "Pika Pi Pi Pi. CHUUUUUU PIKA! (C'mon you dumb roof bit. MOVE!)" Pikachu squeaked, pulling harder. Plusle wasn't doing vry much, but it's a little Pokemon. It gets let off on things like this. After a moment, Plusle fell back, it's small hands red. It got back up, then started dancing, small sparks around it's hands. "Plu Plu PLUSLE! Plu Plu PLUSLE! (You can do it! You can do it!)"

Azura exited the Pokemon Centre with Alex and Anderson, then called out Steelix. "Steeel! (You pesky human!)" It roared. "Wait, please!" Azura pleaded. "I caught you so I could become stronger. Is that not a worthy cause?" Steelix narrowed it's eyes. "Steeeellll....... Ixx. (Weeeeeellll..... Yes)" "So." Azura pressed on. "Well you obey me? Not in the sense of servant and master, as in the sense of friend helping friend." "Steel ste ix ix ix......... Steel! (Friend helping friend.......... Okay then!)" "Great!" Azura smiled. She glanced over at Zasuka, trying to lift the heavy roof block. "First, we need to help get that onto the roof." "Steel! (Yes!)" Steelix went over, then squeezed under the large block. It then, slowly, began pushing upwards with it's massive body.
(OOC: This block is massive. MASSIVE. It'll take a lot of work.)

[Mr Dr Professor Spaz]

"Okay, I might as well." said Anderson. "Come on out guys!" "Lairon!" (Light!) "Lairon, go help at the pulleys." "Gligar!" (What about me?) "Gligar, you can also help out at the pulleys." "Pory, Por Porygon..." (Let me guess, the pulleys...) "Actually, Porygon, not the pulleys. I need you to use Shock Wave to weld metals onto the roof so they stay on the structure." All of Anderson's Pokemon did exactly as they were told. Lairon's strength helped to pull the pulley as well as Gligar moving in the opposit direction with Quick Attack. "This should get quicker progress" Anderson told Zasuka.

John was a bit amazed considering the power that "Canon" possessed "Wow that ought to be useful at the next gym battle at *checks Poke-Gear, Debriment town...hm well lets go guys!"
3 Minutes later... "Phew that cave is a really tough trek, but we got through! Ok now ah there's Debriment town" John pointed at the town beneath them "Well let's go... huh?"
John heard a Squawking and then a disembodied figure swooping and grabbing Snap. "Snap! who are you fiend?!" "Squawk! [color="#A0522D"][i]I am Washibon and your aligator thing is my lunch heh heh.[/i][/color]" "Not if I can help it! Scalamander! Ember!" Scalamander nodded and preceded to fire ember until...another pokemon came and Bit him. "Scalamander!" "[i][color="#A0522D"]oh yes this is my subordinate Monozu[/color][/i]" "[color="#000000"]Rah rah rah rah[/color]" "Grr you have no right to just eat my pokemon!"
"[color="#A0522D"][i]Survival of the fittest boy now you may try to save them if you wish only that I'm not telling where I live but that I will eat them at 4:30 PM and say isn't it 3:00? heh best you hurry.[/i][/color]" "Damn it hm maybe someone in town can help..." John then ran into town towards the gym where he saw a small group of people "Perhaps the gym leader is among them..."

[color="#800080"]Ononokus was gripping a rope tightly, pulling with all her might. The difference in the amount of movement before and after she and Steelix joined was incredibly significant, as th block was now in place. As Porygon used Shock Wave to weld the roof together, Beldum pounded it into place with Iron Head and Zen Headbutt. Mogurew grabbed the rope in his mouth and burrowed beneath the earth. And Alex pulled with all his might next to Lairon and Gligar.[/color]
[color="#800080"]As the work appeared to be done, Alex wiped the sweat from his brow. His hoodie lie on the ground beside him.[/color]
[color="#800080"]"So, you're Zasuka, the Debriment Gym Leader. I came here to challenge you to a battle, but after this work, maybe we should rest a bit, and chat. What do you say?"[/color]

After a few more minutes, Xavier and his Poochyena finally exited Source Cave and entered Debriment Town. He saw the PokeCenter.
"Do you need some rest, Poochyena?"
"Yena!" ([i][color=red]Yes, but not much.[/color][/i])
"Fine, come on."
He entered the PokeCenter and let his Poochyena and his newly acquired Phanpy get some rest. He then exited the PokeCenter and looked around town. He then found the gym and saw a group of people around it.
[i]Wonder what's going on.[/i]
He then sprinted over towards it to see if he could help.

John finally made it to the group of people in front of the gym they were apparently pulling something. "Hey what's that? oh wait forget that I need to talk to the gym leader of this place It's very important."

With the block now in plce, Zasuka relaxed. Now that the roof was whole again, her mother wouldn't start yelling her head off. And having a damaged roof in a town like this....... It would spell certain doom for the gym, wehn the next earthquake hit. And Zasuka wouldn't stand for tha. But it was repaired now. That meant it was a bit safer then before. "Thank you trainers." She panted. Her mother came running up with glasses of water for them all. After taking a gulp of water, she spoke again. "I say yes. All my Pokemon are exhausted, as are yours, I can safely say. So resting would be wise." All her Pokemon sat down.

Azura returned Steelix, congratulating him on a great job. Milotic headbutted her hand, which was red from helping pull the block up onto the roof. Azura patted it on the head. She glanced at the Gym roof. Where the holeonce gaped open, you couldn't even tell a large block had fallen away. Alex's pokemon had done well in that area. She accepted a glass of water from Zasuka's mother, and took a sip thirstily. Even if she'd only worked for a short while, it had been very tiring work.

Xavier stopped in front of the gym and looked around. Everyone was now sitting down, so whatever they were doing, they were finished. They were drinking water and talking.
"Let's go introduce ourselves," Xavier told his Poochyena.
Poochyena only nodded, hiding behind Xavier's leg.
"Don't be scared, they aren't going to hurt you," Xavier said. "They're other trainers, and hopefully our friends."
Poochyena looked in Xavier's dark blue and then put his guard down.

They then went to introduce themselves.

[color="#800080"]As Leader Zasuka's mother ran up, she offered him a glass of water.[/color]
[color="#800080"]"Oh, no thanks, I'm alright, really. I don't need any. Give mine to Milotic, I bet her skin's pretty dry."[/color]
[color="#800080"]"Mogu...Mogurew Mogu..." ([i]Man...I can't keep going any longer...[/i])[/color]

[color="#800080"]"Kus. Onononokus." ([i]Pssh. You're all pathetic.[/i])[/color]
[color="#800080"]"Anyway..." Alex said, taking a seat next to Zasuka. "I've been thinking..." Alex's voice trailed off. "Nevermind. That's unimportant at this place in time."[/color]
[color="#800080"]Alex tossed a bun to Mogurew and one to Ononokus. They both devoured them hungrily. He gave Beldum an Oran Berry.[/color]
[color="#800080"]Alex's head turned to the sky. The sun felt as if it were beating down hard, but it wasn't visible at all. In fact the moon was up, while daylight was still out and about. He looked over at Zasuka's Pokemon now. Pikachu and Manectric appeared to be powerful threats, but Plusle didn't appear dangerous. While it is wrong to underestimate your opponent, he didn't see how the little thing could do much to his team.[/color]
[color="#800080"]He chuckled briefly before collapsing onto his back, staring at the bright moon overhead.[/color]

Milotic shook it's graceful head when Alex told Zasuka's mother to give it his glass of water. It seemed Milotic wasn't dry as of that moment. It curled itself next to Azura, seeming more content to snooze rather than get wet. Azura could tell it was tired, and getting watered would merely keep it awake longer. And that wouldn't do. So Azura returned it so it could simply sleep in it's Pokeball. She took another sip of her water, looking at Zasuka. She didn't look much older than she was, around 16, or maybe 17. More likely 16. And most Gym Leaders Azura knew of were adults, or around 19 or 20. So a teenager as a gym leader seemed strange, to say the least. Not that Azura would say this.

Anderson took a sip of his water. While he was drinking from it, he noticed a reflection of a person running toward them. When the kid reached the spot where they were resting, Anderson noticed a somewhat desperate look on his face. (OOC: You happy Lord, you're being paid attention to) Anderson said to this child, "Who are you, what do you want? Our Pokemon can't do much because they are very tired. Well, that doesn't apply to Alex over there's Ononkus that doesn't obey him all the time." He paused for a moment. He then heard the footsteps of another person (OOC: This one is Nightshade) "How about you ask him?" said Anderson, pointing to the person who had just walked in.

"Well I don't really need your pokemon's help yet I just need somebody a PERSON to help me find my pokemon They were stolen by some Wargle and Monozu I have until 3:00 to save them until they are...eaten so come on I dunno help or something I can't go through this again..." John put his hands to his forehead and sat down.
Kevin Leader of Team Shattered Earth neared his destination...Debriment Town he was in a Chopper "Pilot set down in that clearing there." Kevin then pointed at the nearby Clearing "As you wish sir" a Smug smile then grew on Kevins face.

"O.K. Skarmory, it says here the next gym leader is electric. Let's get a ground type. Let's see, what do ya think about Source Cave, Skarmory?"

"O.K., but I'm not gonna like it!" skarmory replied. "Here let me scan you," Sean said "Subject: Skarmory. Gender:Male. Ability: Keen Eye. Move-set: Aerial Ace, Leer, Peck, Sand Attack, Swift, Agility. Scan complete." The poke dex said. " Cool, you know Aerial Ace! Let's go catch a pokemon in source Cave! Skarmory, do you mind if i hop on your back?" Sean said. "Nope." Skarmory replied. "To Source Cave!"

"There it is! Land, Skarmory!" The Pokemon swooped down and landed right in front of source cave. Sean walked in and saw all sorts of pokemon. But one Pokemon caught his eye. It was a Shiny Ttrapinch! "Skarmory, use sand Attack, then swift, to do some damage." Sean said quitely, as to not startle the pokemon. The attack caught the pokemon completely off gaurd and it flew back a few feet, but retaliated with dig. "Skarmory, can you fly up alittle, then use aerial ace when he pops back up?" "Of course!" The trapinch popped up, and was slammed into the earth faster than you could say K.O. "Go, Pokeball!" Sean yelled. The Pokebal ticked, 1...2....3... BING! "Yes, we have a green Trapinch!"
