That Gamzee just happens to be a clown that also happens to be a psycho killer just makes the whole thing better, in my opinion. I will however, say that there are others who believe her to still be alive due to the fact that they did not use the dead sound effect for her. Then again, I don't think they would do that if her death was an offscreen one. The claw in the note though does suggest that she is quite dead at the moment.
