Your lighting is a skilled as always. I've seen the render on the 3rd before. The first one could use some shortening, imo.

As for the last one, I'm thinking of another C4D coming around his back and under his arm? just a tiny one to make it look like he's being 'hugged' by the C4Ds. Not a fan of the color bar either. =/

It surely isn't what LZ is saying, but if I got the effect you want to produce correctly, you can make a new from visible layer, desaturate it with the second desaturation option (I forget what it was right now...), set it to overlay, and play with the transparency...

The second desaturate option is [i]called[/i] luminosity, that's what I'm saying. <_<

Idk why but I kinda dislike the green color in the middle of the first one, the second one's quite messy in the middle and the last one could use something more, can't really feel it atm.

And the wip, you should use a C4D or something to fill the left up a little more, then darken both sides.
