As the Sun and Moon cross paths, a single snowflake falls from the cloudless sky, and lands upon the point where the Prime Meridian and Equator cross, and the world is engulfed in a harsh light, a single dark silhouette hanging in the sky, where the moon once was. As the light fades, the Moon and Sun now hang in opposite sides of the sky, and their representative times of day are switched (Sun at night on one side, Moon in daytime on the other.) Large fissures appear in the ground. Mysterious people in cloaks wander Pokearth. They are the cults of the Shattered Earth and the Broken Sky. They're here, they're queer, and they mean business.[/size][/center][size="3"][spoiler=Rules][/size]

[spoiler=The Journey]You can go visit gyms and whatnot, as this is designed for a Pokemon journey, just note the whol plot with SE/BS is VERY IMPORTANT, and is one of the main focal points, along with the Pokemon League and Grand Festival. I'm saying this because the plot may seem like I'm not allowing for this. But rest assured, it will function like normal, except there has been a global disaster, and people are acting accordingly.

These cults have members around the globe, but their base of operations is focused in the Rokan Region, where this RP takes place. Now, the goal of these cults are to "awaken the power of the universe and force all beneath them." Why are they different? Because, Shattered Earth wishes to awaken the Legendary Golems, while Broken Sky wants to awaken the Kami Trio. Now, that's about it. The rest is up to interpretation.[/spoiler]

The town's inhabitants live with it as normally as possible, and now they don't notice very often until someone brings it up. To the North and West lies the Rokan Scrapyard, and to the East lies Rokan Ridge.[/color][/size][/font]
[font="Arial"][size="3"][color="#800080"][b]Rokan Scrapyard[/b]: The Rokan Scrapyard is the hardest hit area in the Pokemon world. It is literally all rock and debris. However, numerous Pokemon have made it their home, and rumor has it that the Cult of the Shattered Earth is interested in this place...This area lies North and West of Debriment Town, and South and East of the Wasteland.[/color][/size][/font]
[font="Arial"][size="3"][color="#800080"]*[b]Wasteland[/b]: The Wasteland has been barren for as long as anyone can remember, and apparently has been as far back as historical records go. Only the hardiest of Pokemon and people can survive out here. It is also rumored to be home to a rare and powerful Pokemon...[/color][/size][/font]
[font="Arial"][size="3"][color="#800080"][b]Rokan Ridge[/b]: A long ridge that runs along the entire eastern side of the Rokan region. It is rumored that beneath the ridge, on the breaking waves, lies a cave that is home to Lugia...[/color][/size][/font]
[font="Arial"][size="3"][color="#800080"][b]Shorand City[/b]: A small city on top of the Rokan Ridge. It was originally much larger, but the massive earthquakes caused much of it to plummet into the sea. Shorand is also home to the Weather Institute, a Contest Hall and second Gym. To the North, one can reach Tropica Falls, and to the West lies Umbra Forest.[/color][/size][/font]
[font="Arial"][size="3"][color="#800080"][b]Tropica Falls[/b]: A small oasis lying atop the Rokan Ridge that was named for the large waterfall that plummets down to the sea 125 feet below. One can find many Pokemon that are found in tropical areas around here, and there is also a large deposit of Evolutionary Stones lying in the water and beneath the sand.[/color][/size][/font]
[font="Arial"][size="3"][color="#800080"][b]Umbra Forest[/b]: Umbra forest is named so because it is incredibly dark due to its thick canopy, and it is hard to see without the aid of a flashlight or Pokemon to illuminate the area. Many nocturnal Pokemon make their homes here, as it appears to be unaffected by the "Broken Sky," and even the bright flash that surrounded the entire world had nearly no effect on what lie inside the forest. To the North one can find a vast pit, which is said to house Kyurem. To the West is Volterse town.[/color][/size][/font]
[font="Arial"][size="3"][color="#800080"][b]Volterse Town[/b]: Volterse town, contrary to what the name may seem to imply, has nothing to do with electricity. It actually lies on the border between the two sides of the Sky, and is thus home to the Cult of Broken Sky's base of operations. A Contest Hall is also present. To the North one can find Blackpearl Town, to the South lies Rushid City, and to the East is a road that leads to the ocean with a large, rainbow-hued rock lying 50 metres off the coast.[/color][/size][/font]
[font="Arial"][size="3"][color="#800080"][b]Blackpearl Town[/b]: This is the location of the third gym. The town is rather unremarkable, but it is surrounded on all sides by a large lake, which is home to a rare subspecies of Clamperl which bear black pearls. To the North is Guartinel City, and to the East is Kyurem's Pit.[/color][/size][/font]
[font="Arial"][size="3"][color="#800080"][b]Rushid City[/b]: Rushid City was divided into two factions a long time ago, and eventually a fissure split the city in two officially. There is a Gym in North Rushid, as well as one in South Rushid. The reason the city was divided originally has been lost in time, but the inhabitants were still on opposite sides of the argument. The only uniting factors now are the Pokemon League and the bridge that allows people to cross the large crack in the ground. To the South of Rushid lies another entrance to Source Cave, to the East is a Gym that is located in the middle of nowhere, and to the West is the coast, with Pentult Island 5 kilometres out. (The North Rushid Gym is technically 4, and South is technically number 5. Also, each half has its own Contest Hall.)[/color][/size][/font]
[font="Arial"][size="3"][color="#800080"][b]Solitaire Gym[/b]: This Gym was named so because it is simply a solitary gym (officially number six) in the middle of nowhere. There is not much to say about it, other than the fact Umbra Forest is to the East, to the South is Source Cave, to the West is Rushid City, and to the North is Blackpearl Town.[/color][/size][/font]
[font="Arial"][size="3"][color="#800080"][b]Guartinel City[/b]: A large city (The largest in Rokan, in fact, as well as the Northernmost location) that is home to the seventh Gym in Rokan. There is also a Department Store, Contest Hall, and a Pokemon Daycare. To the south is Blackpearl, to the West is Heaven and Earth Tower, to the East is Infinitum Mountain. Lastly, to the north lies the border between Rokan and Unova (Look at the Southwest of Unova, and you'll know what I'm talking about).[/color][/size][/font]
[font="Arial"][size="3"][color="#800080"]*[b]Heaven and Earth Tower[/b]: A tower inhabited by members of a mysterious company, that claim that one day, people will have no need to capture Pokemon in real life, as they will be replaced by a simulation.[/color][/size][/font]
[font="Arial"][size="3"][color="#800080"]*[b]Infinitum Mountain[/b]: A mountain that is said to breach through the clouds themselves. It is home to many rare Pokemon, and many people come here to hone their battling skills.[/color][/size][/font]

Bio: Alex was on busy posting on an internet message board when the event occurred, and he was temporarily blinded by the light from outside. When the world returned to normal, he had apparently not even noticed the trembling earth, which had knocked many objects in his house over (Thankfully, his PC wasn't among the objects strewn about the floor). After the world slowly returned to normal, he received his starter, Beldum, and began his Pokemon journey, aiming to defeat the Champion and put a stop to the nefarious Shattered Earth and Broken Sky cults, who had been causing massive trouble the world over. Bio: Azura is your normal aspiring Pokemon Co-Ordinator. She was raised among Pokemon from a very young age, and thus has grown to love them and their beauty. She was given a Feebas at one stage, and, unlike most people who loved Pokemon for their beauty, she wasn't disgusted. Afterall, she knew it's second stage, Milotic, was beautiful. So she trained it, and now it is her lovely shiny Milotic of today.
During the Lunar Eclipse, Azura was practising her beauty combo's with Milotic. They were out in the backyard, at night time, despite her mother's protest. Azura was doing this to see what her favorite combos looked like in a different light. So, as she trained, the moon disapeared. She stopped and looked up to watch, when the world turned bright. She had to cover her eyes. When she opened them, she was surprised to see daylight, because the Sun and the Moon had switched places!
And when the massive fissures opened up, Azura was just preaparing to leave on her Co-Ordinating journey. The moment she left the house, along with her family, who had come out to wish her luck, a massive, and I mean MASSIVE, fissure appeared underneath the house. So, obviously, the house went down. Now, without a house, Azura has another mission. Hopefully, by doing really well in contest's, she can earn enough money to buy another house for her family.

A Totodile then Attacked him once he stepped 20 Yards into the swamp he then caught the feisty thing and Goal 1 was complete. once John turned 10 a month later he arranged to leave Kin Island ,his home town also known as 3 island. His first destination was the Kanto Region, and So forth.When the boat left the Island Dock however a Solar Eclipse happened and at the end the Sun was at the other side of the Sky! John Dismissed this as Semi important however and continued. Eventually once John Cleared the Unova Region he was nearng the age of 11 and now a new Region the Rokan Region has been discovered Up until now John has Pleased his mother with Ribbons but he has to admit it's rough...

Bio: Nate had a very rough life he was born an Orphan and Suffers from Asthma. He is also Ridiculed by his Orphan peers so this all in turn created a lot of Wrath within his system so one day he ran away from the Orphanage. Nate had never been on his own before and Ironically Nate fared much better on his own then he ever would in the orphanage. Since he was 15 going on 16 he could work for minimum wage and keep a foothold in society. Eventually he urged for a pokemon however he was afraid for his heart yearned for a Savage Pokemon. Nathanial did not want to center his first pokemon on a grudge he held so instead of getting an all out savage pokemon he caught a Swift beautiful yet deadly pokemon like Sneasel. he and his Swift Sneasel eventually rose up to a Member of the Elite 4 in the Rokan Region. Bio: Kevin was a street thief, pickpocketing various people some could say he was a gang-banger. He had done time in Juvenile Hall at the age of 21 he moved on from petty crime to mafia crime syndicates but pokemon wise. He didn't have the same goals as Team Rocket or any other team actually he was much more helpful he helped cross an old lady and forced the members of his syndicates to have manners. During the Eclipse Kevin and his crew were raiding a cargo ship of supplies (for poor people) the ship was already docked at the pier then an earthquake occurred. Kevin fell off the boat and into a deep crater he survived despite a dislocated shoulder and upon him was a massive Statue of the legendary Golem Regirock. Kevin then looked up from the crater he fell in and saw his comrades seeing his opportunity he "Pokenapped" Regirock. Now he plots a dastardly plan...to control the Earth itself his goals are simple to create a Utopia a New world...an Arcadia.
