Linda smiled a little. "That's because I have researched. Knowing card effects, even detrimental ones, can help one find moves or combos that can still be exploited. Equipping Megamorph to Jurai Gumo, for example, can make its downside a bonus, so if you flip wrong, Jurai will gain 2200 ATK. Not that I'd recommend using it for that purpose, but it's a possibility."

She paused a moment, contemplating the following question. With a shrug, she answered, "I use a Psychic deck. I like their flexibility and strength, able to make interesting plays in almost any given situation, and the LP costs and gains can manipulate the game state at any time."

Corey leaned back against his chair and eventually fell foward, his head landing on Elliot's bed as he thought about the occurrence. The next morning, Corey's PDA-like device let out an alarm at around 6:00 AM. "Already?" he mumbled as he struggled to shut off the alarm. He looked up as he decided whether he should wake up Elliot or not. He put his hand on Elliot's shoulder and lightly tapped him. Then, he proceeded to do the same to Violet. "Good morning" Corey stated, as cheerfully as he could. "Elliot, do you think you'll be alright in school today?" he asked.

Elliot was taken by surprise to see Violet so energetic when he finally awoke. As Violet apologized, Elliot just smiled. "Hehe, why are you apologizing? It's not your fault in any way. I guess I'm just a bit fragile is all." Elliot said placing his hand behind his head. "Thanks for taking care of me you guys. I really appreciate it." Elliot smiled. He was glad to know that he has friends who care about him so much. Elliot then yawned loudly. "I guess that little nap wasn't enough for me huh? Thank you for staying by my side." Elliot said. Elliot then looked down at Corey who had fallen asleep. "Thank you too Corey. You're a great cousin and friend." Elliot said quietly.

Elliot then rested his head onto his pillow. Elliot felt a bit bad for not telling them the truth, but Elliot didn't want them to feel worried for just a dream that might not be true. Elliot then slowly closed his eyes and went to sleep.

[Tommorow]

Elliot awoke, feeling a slight tap on his shoulder. Elliot was a rather light sleeper. "Ugh...." Elliot sat up in his bed and cleared his eyes. "School? Yeah, I'm fine. I gotta go prepare." Elliot said standing up from his bed. Elliot then noticed Violet sleeping in the chair. "What the-" Elliot raised his voice but then quickly lowered it. "Violet fell asleep here last night?" Elliot asked. "Uhh, nevermind, I gotta go get ready for school." Elliot said before entering the restroom. It took Elliot approximately fifteen minutes to go over his morning routine, and by the time he was done, Elliot was ready to get going.

Violet smiled feeling relieved that she had nothing to do with his condition. It was really bothering her. The other two had went back to sleep a little bit later, and Violet had every intention of going back to her room, but that didn't go as planned, as she had almost instantly fell right back to sleep in that same chair. The second time she woke up it was because of movement. Violet was able to gather herself quickly this time, and notice it was Elliot getting ready. Quietly, she slipped out of his room not wanting to disturb him. Apparently it worked because no one said anything to her. Some of the other slifers looked at her since she exited a male slifer's room, but she didn't care and went strait to her room.

The total time it took for her to get ready was 22 minutes, and when she was done she walked back to his room and knocked. She considered trying to get to the main building herself, but she couldn't remember the path they used to get here. Se was too busy reading her book. "Did Elliot leave his room?..."

While Elliot and Violet were getting ready, Corey sat down and reviewed his deck. When he was ready, he placed it back in his deck box/case and packed his bag, he checked his schedule. "Well, apparently, I'm off to Duel History class....sounds interesting..." he said as he waved to Elliot and Violet. "Maybe I'll see you guys after classes are over" he grinned as he left the Slifer Dorm. Corey made his way to the main building where he entered his classroom and took a seat.

"A Psychic deck sounds interesting, there's even cards that can make all of the life points you pay increase you life points instead,"Lewis complimented as he attempted to remember it, but his mind went blank."Sadly, the card I was talking about isn't an Psychic type,"

It was an new day, Lewis leaped out of his bed. He stared at the timetable he placed in his mobile phone and stared at it until he memorised it. It took him twenty minutes to get prepared. Afterwards, Lewis walked out of the Ra Yellow Dorm and walked on his way towards the main building to start his lessons. He smiled when he entered, [i]This is going to be fun[/i]. Lewis thought

Elliot watched as Corey left. "Umm, don't we have the same classes?" Elliot asked himself. Elliot walked outside, only to see Violet nearby. "Hey Violet." Elliot said as he walked towards her. "Well I guess you haven't gone to class yet huh? Since we have the same class, let's walk there together." Elliot smiled.

[Later in Class]

Elliot took his seat and looked at the board which was basically a big screen since nowadays technology is everywhere. Elliot then took out his notebook and a pencil. Unlike some other students that uses laptops, Elliot is still pretty old school. Elliot likes to actually write out something then to type it out, and he also likes to doodle on his notes which makes it easier for him to learn. Elliot looked towards the door as it opened. Walking through the door was a man in his late twenties. He has sort of purplish hair and he is wearing a brown coat, white shirt, dark trousers, and a light blue scarf.

The man sat down at the teacher chair and looked up at the swarm of students. "(Well there's more students here then last year.)" the man thought to himself before finally standing up. "Good morning students, my name is Professor Yukan Tairo and I'm your Duel Monster History Teacher. It's a pleasure to be teaching such bright students." Yukan said with a friendly smile on his face.

"Now without further ado let's-" Yukan was interrupted by the door opening. A student with short black hair walked inside. He is wearing a black suit and he has a calm look on his face. "Sorry I'm late. I got lost trying to find this classroom." the student said plainly. "Umm, that's quite alright. I just came a little bit ago. So take your seat." Yukan said. Without another word, the student walked up the aisles and took his seat. "Well I guess there are no more interruptions. Let's begin shall we. Well first off let's start with watching this brief video about Duel Monsters in Egypt." Yukan said, turning on the large screen with a remote and then turning on the video.

Elliot looked over to the student who just took his seat awhile ago. "(Wow, he's rather sharp looking.)" Elliot thought. The student glared over at Elliot. His eyes told it all. Elliot got a bit nervous and quickly looked back at the screen. "(Geez, he looks like he wants to beat me up or something.)" Elliot thought.

"I have no recollection of where the class rooms are. So I have chosen to follow you." Violet answered before the two of them began their walk to the classes. This time she made sure to pay attention to the diretion they went, so if she was alone she could find her way around. It didn't take them long to get to the classes, and once in the class room Violet went to the first empty seat she saw, which was three rows below where Elliot sat. [i]I wonder knowladge will be bestowed upon us today.[/i] She thought taking out her pencil and paper. Violet didn't know that laptops were going to be used, cause if she did she would have brought her own.

Soon the teacher entered the classroom, but before he could start another kid entered the classroom late. [i]Guess he over slept this morning.[/i] She thought before turning back around in her seat to face Professor Yukan, as he started the lesson.

During Professor Yukan’s class, Corey looked up to see the door swing open, followed immediately by a student with sharp eyes entering the classroom. As the student looked around, Corey felt a chill as his eyes locked briefly on his face. “Who is he? And what is this…strange, icy feeling around him…?” he thought, still shaken from the glare. His head continued to rotate as hie eyes fell on Elliot. Corey looked down at Professor Yukan, who gestured the student to sit down.
