Jeano gave a thumbs up and jumped for joy as he saw Yurai and Trak, he then however turned to the mirro and noticed a strain of hair wasn't in place, in a comical fashion he yelled and began coming it furiously.

Yurai sighed. "So Jeano, have u been practicing your dueling at all?"

Jeano didn't reply for a second as he finally got the strian of hair in place, he exhaled a sigh of releif as he walked towards Yurai and Trak, he had a big smile on his face.

"Ave I been practicin' my duelin'?" jeano had a big italian accent, "Maybe I should show you obelis' Blue how much i have improve'" Jeano then jumped forward an dpointed his thumb at himself in a comical fashion. "Maybe I'll be moved up to Obelis' to!" everyone was then silent as a strain of hair became misplaced, jeano screamed and ran to the mirror stroking his hair with a comb and tears coming down his eyes.

"Oh I see..." Violet nodded telling him she understood. "Then I guess it was I who was the rude one. As for this mac N' cheese dish....It sounds interesting. I wish to try it, but not now. I have a feeling the lady handing out the food will not be trilled to see me again." She looked to Elliot as he asked how unpacking went, and about the dorm room she was given. "It went fine. I had quite a bit of stuff so it took some time. Although I hadn't been expecting to put the things away myself." She picked through her burger taking off the tomatos, looking at them in disgust and placing them to the side. "I too have two beds in my room, but there were not signs that another has been in there. "

"Why do you ask? Did your unpacking not go well?"

"O-Oh no, you're not rude! You just didn't know about things like that was all!" Elliot reassured her after Violet said that she was the rude one. Elliot then turned his attention the business of unpacking, which made him remembered about what had happened earlier. Elliot sat there for a moment in silence. "(I wonder what was that about anyways? And that chill.... It still creeps me out....)" Elliot wondered without answering Violet's question. Suddenly, Elliot regained his composture and looked back to Violet with a halfhearted smile. "O-Oh, about unpacking. Uhh, yeah my unpacking went well too. Nothing to mention...." Elliot said hesitantly. "Umm, so yeah, how about we move onto the subject of learning how to better socialize with people?" Elliot asked.

Violet was very confused by Elliot's behavior. He wasn't talking normally, but slowly almost as if he was trying to think of what to say. Maybe it was some type of secreat, and he didn't want her to know. Whatever the problem was, it was quickly pushed to the back of Violet's mind when Elliot brought up one of her problems; Talking to people. "So where shall we start? Also should I call you professor? At home that is what I call all of my teachers. Furthermore I can not begin to express how much you helping me, means to me. If there is anything that I could do for you simply speak it and I will see to it that it is done. I sware it on my family's name." Violet spoke so quickly that she slightly wondered if he was able to catch everything, but she couldn't help it she was excited.

"Now that my dragon has absorbed your Grand Swordsman, its power has increased far beyond your remaining life." Gale said. (ATK: 4500) "Now, Crystalline Dragon, attack his Veir! Wipe away his life!" Gale declared. As he did, the dragon, now flaring with a rainbow aura, dive-bombed down towards the remaining monster. "I told you, you wouldn't survive this last turn. None yet have faced off against my Crystalline Dragon and beaten it, let alone survived its attacks. Now, face defeat." Gale said.

With the incoming attack Broell was able to finally activate his last face down card, [color=blue]now I'll activate my Twin Vortex, with it I not only stop your attack but i get to destroy your monster as well, though it'll cost me my last monster to do so with this the field should be empty.[/color] As the dragon approached the swordsman they were both sucked into vortexes chattering then and Broell hoped that it would end the battling for this turn at the very least.

"Pitiful." Gale said simply. "Just pitiful. But, I guess I shouldn't expect much from someone like you." Gale said. "My Crystalline Dragon is too powerful to be affected by something like that." Gale said, as the vortex surrounding the dragon faded away, but the second vortex surrounding Noell's monster didn't. "Because his effect simply prevents him from being destroyed by card effects, your monster is still destroyed. And because that was your last face-down, I can attack you without worry." Gale said, as the monster was ripped apart. "Now, a Replay Battle occurs. Of course, I'll attack you directly." Gale said, as the dragon now altered its course, heading straight towards Noell himself.

[Barian Warlord]

Broell didn't have any more cards to play so as the attack came at him he was thrown back by the solid image but was uninjured, [color=blue]man i thought your monsters could only fuse together when they were attacked, and that is one hell of an ace monster, though if i had the right cards i know i could bring it down, but oh well you win some you lose some.[/color] With that Broell dusted himself off and began to leave the area heading back to his room he didn't know whether or not his opponent wanted to banter him any more.

"Professor? Hmm, Professor Elliot Rune." Elliot thought to himself as he placed his hand on his chin. "Uhh, I think Elliot is just fine...." Elliot said as the thought occured to him that the word "Professor" made him felt like an old man. Elliot was about to speak again when Violet bombarded him with sentences at high speeds with high-class words thrown into them. Elliot's jaw almost hit the floor from the mere change in her way of talking. "Uhh, well that was, umm, fast...." Elliot said. "Anyways, let's begin with your vocal mannerisms." Elliot said as he turned to face her.

"Okay, first off, I noticed that you talk in a very, well, high-class kind of way I think is the best I can describe it. Like just a moment ago when you expressed your gratitude. Usually, people won't say 'I can not begin to express how much you helping me, means to me'." Elliot may not look like it, but he has a rather impressive memory. "I mean that's a pretty long way of expressing one's gratitude. Better yet, you could've say, 'I really appreciate you helping me' or 'Your help means a lot to me'. Simple stuff like that. Regularly, just a simple 'thank you' would be enough anyways." Elliot explained.

"So, I want you to try talking to me in casual terms. Let's say you and me are meeting at the main campus. First, greet me as if you would normally do, then say a more casual version. You must've heard people talking casually before right? Well speak like how they would speak." Elliot explained.

*clap, clap, clap* came from behind the trees. "Well, that was entertaining" Corey said to Noell and Gale as he walked out from behind the trees. "Crystalline Dragon...seems like it's calling out to a certain someone" he thought. With that, he glanced at both duelists and left with that, headed to the Sliter dorms to visit Elliot.
He passed through the forest and he arrived in front of the Slifer dorms. When he arrived, he received many dirty looks from passing Slifers as he made his way to Elliot's room. When he knocked, nobody answered the door...

A girl wandered the campus, paying no attention to those walking around her, as her nose was buried in a book entitled [i]Dueling Techniques: Volume VII[/i]. She wore a yellow jacket signifying her dorm rank, with the top third unbuttoned and partially open. She paused her reading every so often to check her surroundings, as she had already tripped three times that day alone, but the book was so mesmerizing she could never go far without examining the next paragraph. Her parents always worried that the obsession to schoolwork hindered her social life, but Linda wasn't concerned. The best way to learn was to practice, and when it came to dueling, the best practice WAS social.

On her left arm, she carried a lightweight Duel Disk, having always preferred this model so she could read while wearing it, while walking, while drinking water from a hip flask. Multi-tasking was an unfortunate advantage here, though.

Jeano continued to face Trak as he drew his firs card. Trak also stared at jeano. A big vein appeared on Jeano's head. "Do you ave to do dat!?"

"What?!" Trak questioned in anger.

"Stare at me!"

"Your staring at me!" Trak and Jeano always fight, their personalities seemed to conflict each other even though they were the same.

tension was in the air.

"Ah can we ju-" Yurai began but was itnerrupted.

"That's it Trak you and me! Right here!"

"Your crazy!" Trak snapped as Yuraio looked on with cionfusion, "So wait were not dueling?"

"What do ya say Trak!"

Trak activated his duel disk. "Make your move!"

Jeano smiled. " I e' play 1 cart face down Defence Mode'. Your Move!" Jeano began thinking to himself. "little do you know I have penguin soldier face down, summon 1 or 2 monsters and they'll be return to your hand!"

"My turn." Trak stated as he then drew a card. Trak straight away played a card. "I activate power bond and by discarding 3 ancient gea golems, fusion summon Ultimate Ancient gear golem. (8800 ATK) that's not all he gain double the ATK thx to power bond, although in the end pohase I take 4400 damage."

Jeano began thinking to himself. "huh! I don't even have to make a 2nd move!becuase of penguin soldier his monster wil be returned to the deck!"

"Ultimate golem attack!" The penguin soldier was destroyed.

"You e' know penguin's effect yes? Bye Bye Golem heheh!"

"Golem's effect, it inflicts piercing damage."

Jeano was shocked, "Uh What?....No!!!!!" jeano ran back to his dorm room.

Yurai was also quite surprised, "How many FTK's is that?"

Trak scratched his chin. "hmm? 30?"

[The White Wolf]

Akarui drew his first card. "This time. I will win." Akarui stated "With this! I summon Metal Warrior Dragon!" [ATK: 1600] "By it's effect, it goes to you." Akarui stated "(Same as before.)" Zack thought as he gained the new monster. "And next-" Akarui started "Yeah yeah." Zack interrupted "Next you Special Summon a Metal Warrior LV4 from your deck." Zack continued "Heh, you remember." Akarui stated as he placed the new monster on his field. [ATK: 1600] "I place this card face-down and end my turn." Akarui finished. Zack drew his card "This is the beginning of the end." Zack stated.

"I do not see what is so wrong with the way I articulate myself but I shall try to speak casually." Violet said after listening to Elliot's instructions. Now that she thought about it, she did speak a bit differently than the rest of the kids here. Personally she didn't see the problem but if it would help her speak to others better, than she would do whatever. So first introductions like she would do it. "Hello. I am Violet Rockwell, and I am very thrilled and honored to meet you." She paused to think about her second task. "Casually..Right.." She hesitated a bit before saying, "Hi, I am Violet Rockwell. Nice to make your aquaintance."

"Wait...'Nice to meet your aquaintance' is not casual is it?" She said staring down at the table a look of concentraition on her face. Suddely she smiled, "Oh, I do believe I got it! Hi, my name is Violet. What is your name?" Violet smiled at Elliot. "Was that satisfactory Elliot?"

"You got it Violet." Elliot smiled. "That's very good. Oh yeah, by the way, you might not want to say 'Was that satisfactory', you can just say 'was that good' or 'how was that'." Elliot explained. "But anyways, I you got the greeting down. Even though it's only one type of greeting, but we'll talk more about greetings later. You know, I think you should go to the library to get yourself a book about speaking casually, that should help a lot. Not that there is anything wrong with how you talk now, but.... Err, nevermind.... Hey, umm, I want to ask you a question. Don't agree to it if you don't want to, but.... Do you want to duel?" Elliot asked rather hesitantly.

Violet nodded, "A book would be of great help to me. I shall do so, thank you Elliot." She said the last part slowly, remembering how he just finish telling herho to thank people. Seconds later came Elliot's hesitant reply for a duel; to which Violet smiled and quickly stood from her seat, her burger remaining untouched save from when she was picking at it. "I would be honored to have a duel with you. It is the least I can do to express my gratitu-I mean...Uh." She cleared her throat, blushing slightly. "Yes, I would, uh...love to duel."

"We must venture ouside, yes?" She didn't wait for an answer and instead grabbed his hand before heading outside. "According to my studying holding hands is another way for our friendship to grow." Violet explained releasing him once they were outside. "Our freindship has now blossomed, am I correct?" She didn't look at him and instead retreived her purple and white, just like her hair, duel disk from her back pack and strapping it onto her right arm. It was apparent she was left handed. After seeing what she did, she quickly switched, placing it on her left arm. Before she could stop she explained, "My parents believe that it is terribly abnormal to be left handed."

"Really? That's great! And I see you're making progress with talking casually." Elliot smiled, feeling glad that he was able to help someone. Elliot stood up from his chair and was about to walk outside, when suddenly something unexpected caught Elliot by surprised. Violet held his hand and led him outside. Instantly, Elliot's face became red and he became almost lifeless as he just walked along and didn't make a single noise. His face was still red and his focus seemed to be on Violet's hand. "Right.... Grow...." Elliot responded to what Violet said about their friendship growing.

When they were finally outside, Violet let go of his hand, and right away Elliot almost tripped but quickly caught himself before Violet could notice. "Blossomed? You can say that...." Elliot said in a very monotonous way of speaking as if almost lifeless. His face was still bright red. "(Elliot, calm yourself, it was only holding hands!)" Elliot thought to himself as he lightly slapped himself across the face and was once again back to normal. Elliot gave a sympathetic smile. "Hey, it's alright to be left handed. That's nothing to be ashamed of. You should be proud that you have a feature that makes you unique." Elliot reassured her confidently.

"One of my friends can use his left or right hand. It's not abnormal, it's unique." Elliot explained with a smile as he took out his blue and white duel disk and placed it on his right arm. "Now come on. Let's have ourselves an enjoyable duel!" Elliot said. "(Alright, time to see what my new Ice Barrier deck can do, and maybe shed some light onto that weird shine.)" Elliot thought to himself, his face putting on a serious expression.

Corey turned from Elliot's dorm as Elliot and Violet walked out of the cafeteria. His eyes shot to their arms - Duel Disks on both of them. "Well, this is quite obvious...I guess I can kill another few minutes this way" he thought as he approached the two. "Hello, there" he smiled as he greeted. "Off to duel, I see?" he asked, knowing the answer soon to come. He was curious to see what kind of deck and strategies Violet used. "Would you mind if I watched?" he asked.

[i]It...Makes me unique to be left handed?...Well then...I shall remember that for later[/i] Violet thought placing her deck inside of the slot on her duel disk. Before they began Corey had made a reappearance, and asked to watch their duel. "I do not have any quarrels with you watching." She smiled thn turned back to Elliot. "If you do not mind I shall start us off." Violet drew her first six cards, her eyes quickly scanning over the hand she was given. [i]I guess this is not so bad...But I still can not do much.[/i]

"Alrght, I will place one card in defence mode, and then a face down. I will now conclude my turn."

"I'm here to challenge you to a duel,"the Ra replied,"I've heard rumours from you, about you getting one of the highest marks in the Entrance Exam for Ra Yellows in your year,"

"From what they told me that is correct,"Lewis nodded.

"I'm an second year Ra Yellow student and I challenge you to a duel,"the Ra stated as he pointed at the table indication for both players to play an ordinary duel. He placed an duel mat on the table and placed his already shuffled deck."You can go first,"

"OK,"I said shuffling my Deck, I placed it on the part it said for the deck to be placed. I drew my cards."I start things simple, I Summon [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Sangan"]Sangan[/url] in Defence Position (1000/600), next I set two cards Face Down and end my turn,"

"That all, I'll show you skill, I draw."the Ra said staring at his hand,"First I Summon [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Spear_Dragon"]Spear Dragon[/url] in Attack Position (1900/0), I think I'll set a card, next Spear Dragon will attack Sangan (Lewis: 2700 Life Points). Spear Dragon switches to Defence Postion now(1900/0) ."

"Well, I didn't expect you to use Spear Dragon and inflict piercing damage. Back to the duel, when Sangan is destroyed I can add I monster with 1500 or less Atk from my Deck to my hand and I choose [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/A_Cat_of_Ill_Omen"]A Cat of Ill Omen[/url]."Lewis explained as he showed the card (500/300).

"Why did you choose that pathetic monster ?"the arrogant Ra asked.

"It's effect will allow me to search for the card I need,"Lewis explained."But I will have to take a few lot of life points until I get the card. Don't worry, in a few turns I'll have the card and I'll be having the Field advantage."

"I end,"the Ra frowned in fear.

"Hey Corey, good to see you. It's alright with me if you watch. I'm just about to test out my new deck that my parents gave me." Elliot said before turning back to Violet. As they began the duel, Elliot drew five cards from his deck, and then suddenly, he felt that familiar chill again, except this time, it was intensified even further. "(Ugh.... What was that....?)" Elliot thought to himself. By the time Violet had finished her turn, Elliot was able to regain his composture.

"My turn." Elliot said as he drew his sixth card. "I'm starting off by summoning Strategist of the Ice Barrier in attack mode (ATK:1600)." Ice formed on the ground and an old man wearing a large hat appeared from the ice. "Now I'm activating my Strategist's effect. I can send one Ice Barrier monster from my hand to the graveyard." Elliot proclaimed as he sent one card to the graveyard. "Now I activate from my graveyard the effect of my Saboteur of the Ice Barrier. When my Saboteur is in my hand and it's sent to the graveyard by a card effect, I can special summon it onto my field in face-up defense mode (DEF:500)." More ice began to form on the ground, and from the ice, came a man wearing heavy, blue clothing with the lower half of his face hidden by blue cloth.

"Now Strategist, attack the face-down monster!" Strategist then threw his fan towards the face-down monster at high speed.

After the monster was destroyed, the fan came back to Strategist's hand in the style of a boomerang. "I'll now end my turn with a face-down." Elliot proclaimed.

"I apologize Elliot, but you will have to do much better than that. My facedown was Putrid Puppet(1200/2000)-" The card flipped and a small wooden puppet rose; from it's mouth and numerous cracks on the puppet a green looking ooze was leaking. "My puppet's defence is more than your attack so it is your monster that is destoried. He also has a flip effect, allowing him to take 500 of your life points away." Putrid puppet opened it's mouth and the green ooze shot out an towards Elliot. She drew a card when Elliot declared his turn was over. "I will now summon Apprenence puppeteer(1300/500) to the feild." A young boy emerged from the card in a crouched position and dozens of miniture puppets laying about his feet. "I will use him to attack your Saborteur." The puppet's came to life and begun to attack Saboteur. Violet waited to see if Elliot had a counter, or if his card had another ability. Either way, once the attack was over she declared her turn finished.

Elliot watched as the fan thrown by Strategist was deflected back at him.

Then, the green ooze that was shot from Putrid Puppet's mouth made a direct hit towards Elliot, further decreasing his life points.

"(Whoa, Violet is a pretty good at dueling. And the way she speaks now, well, you can't even tell that she has a problem socializing to people.)" Elliot thought as he was taken by surprised by Violet's calm composture. During the Battle Phase of Violet's turn, Violet declared an attack towards Saboteur with her Apprentice Puppeteer. "Not so fast! I'm activating my face-down, it's a trap called Diversion Tactic of Pieces! Here's what it does. While I control two face-up WATER monsters and you declare an attack on one of them, I can switch the attack target to the other monster, meaning my Strategist whose ATK is more than your Apprentice Puppeteer's ATK!" Elliot proclaimed.

After Apprentice Puppeteer was destroyed, Violet took 300 points of damage. "So, do you have any other cards to play or is it my turn?" Elliot asked.

(Right sorry. Must've gotten mixed up...Guess I need to brush up. One here is the first time ive played the game in like five years)

"My Apprentice Puppeteer's special ability allows me to summon another one to the feild from either my hand or deck." Violet grabbed the card the was sticking out of the middle of her deck and played it in defence mode(def: 500). "I end my turn on that note." [i]I thought he said that his deck is a conjuction of mis matched cards. That deck is far from random...[/i] She remember him saying something about a deck his father gave him seconds before the duel began, and there was a blue box he was holding when she first saw him. [i]That could be it...Either way this will be a hard duel to win.[/i]

"I chain my Face Down [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Draining_Shield"]Draining Shield[/url], it negates your attack and Increases my life points (Lewis: 4600 Life Poinnts)."Lewis explained countering the Ra's strategy.

"Fine then, Granadora will attack,"the Ra said getting slighty annoyed as Lewis flipped the card.

"The card you destroyed was [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/A_Cat_of_Ill_Omen"]A Cat of Ill Omen[/url], I can select 1 trap in my Deck and add it to the Top of my Deck."Lewis explained searching through his Deck he shuffled it and placed the trap on the top of his Deck.
