Noell had watched some people dueling and saw through each of the players strategies in his head only to know that he would somehow screw it up and end up with a humiliating defeat. When the duel finished he decided to go through his deck one more time, he had decided to to try and get into a duel and hopefully be able to win so he was trying to keep a cool head. [color=blue]Um, hey does anybody want a duel,[/color] Noell had finished going over his deck and was hoping that someone would take up his offer.

[Dementuo]

Gale looked over at Noell. "Sure, if you think you can handle it." Gale said arrogantly. Gale pulled out his Duel Disk, placed it on his arm, activated it, placed his deck into the slot, and turned towards Noell. "You can go ahead with the first move. You'll need all the help you can get." Gale said, now acting very arrogant. His deck shuffled automatically, and he drew his five cards. "Take all the time you want. It won't help you anyways." Gale said, mockingly. "But hey, I don't have forever, so if you need a moment to prepare yourself for an inevitable loss, go ahead. Just don't take all day."

[The White Wolf]

Akarui had finally woken up "*Yawn* What the?!" Akarui asked as he noticed he was the last one on his boat "NOT COOL!" he yelled as it began to return to the city "I hate swimming." he stated as he dove into the water and swam back to the island "Damn those boats are fast." he told himself as he pulled himself onto the island. "It would be a lot easier if- Dammit." Akarui stated as he looked over at a small area that looked like a hidden beach behind a dorm. He got up and walked towards where everyone was gathering. "(Wow I'm lucky today.)" Akarui thought sarcastically.

Elliot turned to face Violet, but as he turned he noticed two Obelisk Blue guys walking pass and gave Elliot a greeting from afar, which left Elliot in a state of confusion. "(Hmm, do I know those guys are something? Probably not, wow, the people around here sure are friendly then.)" Elliot thought with a smile before turning completely to Violet. "Oh, haha, well maybe I am." Elliot responded to Violet's theory on why he is sick. "If that's the case, then I think it would be a great idea if we got something to eat. I could even give you some tips on how to be more comfortable when talking to people. Some people say I'm a pretty good teacher, hehe." Elliot said, his face showing slight signs of modesty.

"Hmm, but first shouldn't we put our baggage into our rooms? I mean, it would be pretty weird having to carry all of our clothes and stuff to the cafeteria wouldn't you agree?" Elliot asked.

Noell was surprised by how much of a jerk the other guy was but decided to duel even though he was nervous he drew his five cards then finally his sixth card. [color=blue]I'll start by Summoning my Composite Teck Spear man Vier in attack position then I'll through two cards face down and end my turn. If your so great then show me,[/color] Noell was worried about what his opponent would do, even though he tried acting cocky it was obvious he wasn't very good at it.

"You've got some confidence. But don't get your hopes up." Gale said, drawing his sixth card. "My turn, Draw. I activate the Cosmic Crystal Cube." Gale said, as a large crystal cube appeared next to him.

"Next, I'll summon my Crystalline Beast." Gale said, as a small wolf covered in crystals appeared.

"Now, for my Crystal Cube's effect. So long as I control a Crystalline Monster, I can Special Summon another one each turn. So, I'll summon the Crystalline Piranha." The crystal fish appeared next to the wolf.

As the fish appeared, it fired off a few crystal shards at Noell. "Whenever my Crystalline Piranha is summoned, you lose 800 Life Points." Gale said. "If you have nothing else, then I'll play two cards face-down, and end my turn." Gale said.

Noell drew his card, [color=blue]"I'll start by summoning Composite Tech Sky Dragonfly Drei now I'll have my two monsters attack your two and it should deal you 1400 damage."[/color] Noell new that his opponent would probably have a counter ready but if he did he might try to use it later instead of wasting it, then again clearing the field could make things easier for him.

"The moment you attack, I activate the effect of my Crystalline Wolf." Gale said, as the Wolf and Piranha burst apart, and reformed to form a large, lizard-type beast. "I remove from play any number of Crystalline monsters on my field, then fuse them to form a Crystalline Fusion monster, and negate your attack." Gale explained. "Now, this is Crystalline Gecko (ATK: 1500/DEF: 1000). When he's summoned, two things happen." Gale said. "First, you take an additional 800 damage." Gale said, as the lizard fired off more of the shards. "Next, I can absorb a Level 4 or lower monster you control." Gale said, as the lizard's tail latched onto the monster that hadn't yet attacked. (Your choice) "Now, half of the absorbed monster's Attack is added to my Gecko." Gale explained.

After The effects of the opponents monsters finished Noell looked at his hand and decided on his next move, [color=blue]Looks like I have no choice I'll activate Smashing Ground in my hand to destroy one Monster on the Field you control not the best ending but at least I'm stopping your monsters from overloading the field.[/color] Noell was worried, he still had cards to play but his options were getting slim.

"Hmph. Like something that simple would work on me." Gale said. "I activate my first Face-Down card, Ore Barrier." Gale said, as the first card flipped up. "Whenever a Crystalline monster I control would be destroyed by a card effect, I can activate this card. instead of my monster being destroyed, the monster equipped to him is." Gale explained as the Crystal Lizard spit out the absorbed monster, which took the blow. "Is there anything else you'd like to try? Or is that all?"

[color=blue]Sorry but I can't let that go, I'll activate my face down Trap Stun, with it I can negate the effect of every other trap card on the field, so unless you have something else in the wings your Monsters going down.[/color] Noell was worried, he was using to many effects to quickly and his end game would suffer if he didn't bring out a miracle he'd be in for some big trouble. [color=blue]If you don't have any more cards you want to activate its your move.[/color]

"Another simple trick, eh? I didn't want to use this, but I will. Now, I activate the second effect of my Crystal Cube." Gale said, as the cube sent out multiple green tentacles, which absorbed the lizard. "Once per turn, I can remove from play a Crystalline monster I control, until the End Phase. By doing so, I am not allowed to Special Summon any Crystalline using this card during my next turn." Gale explained, as the absorbed monster shattered, and the crystal lizard faded away. "Do you have any other tricks up your sleeve?"

Noell was worried, his opponent might not be able to special summon everything he likes on the next turn but he'd still keep that tricky monster on the field and Noell could no longer attack but he didn't have any other option but to end his turn now. [color=blue]I have no choice I'll end my turn.[/color] If Noell drew the right card he could get back in the duel but he knew if his opponent could burn him like he's been doing he wouldn't make it to his next turn.

"I suppose you are right." Violet agreed. "As for your offer I would be deeply appreciative of your assistance." When she had time she would hve to contact her family to let them know she arrived to the island safely. That and the fact that she had already made a friend, which is probably her most greatest achievement. Well, besides surviving one of her uncle's war stories. "Shall we meet up in the cafeteria? I would love to continue our conversation, oh-" She whispered in shock just realizing something, "Just now we were "hanging out" weren't we? Ah! I am learning all sorts of new and extrodinary things thanks to you. I am truly grateful."

"But I should get this to my dorm. Until we meet again." Violet gave a small curtsy before quickly leaving to find her dorm. Luckily it didn't take long. She was right in her assumption that there were more rooms on both sides of the building. Unfortunately, her room was up the stairs so she had to carry everything up herself; which was something she was not used too at all. Once in her room she smiled. It was bigger than she first assumed, and it had a cosy feel to it. There were two beds, one on either side of the room, but neither of them were touched. "I must have the room all to my lonesome." Violet concluded before claiming the bed to her right.

It didn't take long for her to get situated in the room and before long most of her belongngs were put away. Her bags were stowed away in the closet, while the backpack she planned on keeping with her was packed with the things she would need the most; Snacks, duel disk, feminine items, money, and other things. Her hot pink, and purple stripped cellphone was placed in her pocket. "Now for the cafeteria..." She muttered before once again leaving her room.

"Thank you." Gale said, drawing his card. "Now that my Gecko has returned, I activate his second effect. I can De-Fuse him." Gale said, as the lizard de-fused into its two original monsters. "Now, I summon my Crystalline Snake." Gale said, as a small crystal snake appeared next to the other to monsters. "Now, I will set another card, and end my turn." Gale said, as a card hologram appeared next to him. "Now go ahead and take your next turn. It should be your last." Gale said. "You'll have me impressed if you survive my next turn." Gale said, sounding more arrogant with each word.

Noell drew his card and grinned, it was obvious that he had gotten a good card, [color=blue]Now I'll play Fortissimo the Moving Fortress, and next I'll use its effect to summon Composite Tech Rain Sparrow Drei, but he won't be here long because I'll be releasing him in order to advance summon Composite Tech Grand Swordsman Fünf, next I'll have him attack your Snake and my Composite Tech Rain Spear man Vier will attack your Wolf.[/color] Noell knew it would be risky to attack but he didn't have much choice seeing as the opponent would fuse his monster and take some of Noells if he didn't, of course the opponent wouldn't be able to do the same trick he did last time or else you could call that card a little broken.

Gale sighed. "I thought you would've learned the first time. My Crystallines have the innate power to fuse themselves at will." Gale said, as the three monsters preformed another fusion. "They negate your attack, and then they fuse. However, this one won't be taking your monsters. Instead, he uses another ability." Gale said, as the Fusion monster, looking like a large worm appeared. "This is my Crystalline Wurm. (ATK: 1000/DEF: 2000)(Currently in DEF mode) He can avoid destruction once per turn, but he can't do any real damage." Gale said. "So don't worry, you'll be fine, for now. But come next turn... You won't." Gale said.

None of Boell's monsters had the attack power to break through the worms defenses so he knew he would have to end his turn, at the very least he had stopped his opponent from having three monsters on the field and he had gotten his field spell out which really brought out what his deck could do, but it seemed to little to late. [color=blue]Well seeing as i lost my attack target and neither of my monsters can break you defense I'll have to end my turn.[/color]

"So it's my turn?" Gale asked, drawing his card. "Good." Gale said. "Well, since a turn went by without my needing to use my Crystal Cube's other ability, I can De-Fuse my Wurm, and then Normal summon my Crystalline Hawk, and Special Summon my Crystalline Falcon." Gale explained, as two crystal birds appeared, and Gale's hand emptied. "Now, bear witness to your defeat. You're only one of many who see this, but none have gone father, so far." Gale said, as the five monsters burst apart, and re-fused. "Now, by removing all five of the original Crystalline monsters, I can Fusion Summon my Ace Monster." Gale said, as a large, crystal dragon appeared in front of Gale. "This, is my Crystalline Dragon. (ATK: 2500/DEF: 2000) He can absorb a monster when he's summoned, as you may have guessed. However, instead of only half the Attack, he gains it all." Gale said, as more green tentacles shot out of the dragon, right at the Grand Swordsman.

After an hour of staring outside, Lewis felt bored. He decided to go outside to at least watch or duel someone. Eventually, he found an duel between an Obelisk and a Slifer (Noel and Gale). He knew by Field, Life points and Dorm that the Obelisk was most likely to win if the combo was successful. But he then decided that the Slifer still could still have a chance because of the one card he saw Face Down. [i]This duel is quite good, the Obelisk is in control as usual[/i], Lewis though as he smirked.[i] I would feel suprised if that Obelisk lost after such an advantage and after having an massive amount of life points[/i].

"Alright so I'll see you in the cafeteria." Elliot smiled. Elliot had quite a bit of things to unpacked and would have to hurry if he wants time to see what's inside the blue box of his. "Hanging out? Well I guess you could call it that. But I definitely know that we would be hanging out if we are in the cafeteria. And I'm glad to be able to teach you these things, afterall, you don't need a reason to help someone. Well anyways, I'll meet up with you later. Until then." Elliot said as he waved goodbye to Violet as she set off to her room. "(Boy those bags of her seems pretty heavy. I wonder if I should've said something.)" Elliot thought to himself.

Moments later, Elliot departed to his room, room 12. Opening the door, Elliot noticed right away that it had more room then he originally suspected. "Wow, it's much more spacious in here than I thought." Elliot walked inside and noticed that there were two bunkbeds instead of one. "Why would there be two in here? Ehh, nevermind. Seems I don't have a roomate, so I get the beds all to myself!" Elliot rejoiced. After taking about ten minutes to unpack and neatly store everything. Elliot sat down on a chair and placed the blue box onto his lap.

"Alright, let's see just what kind of present did my parents got me." Elliot said as he slowly unwrapped and opened up the box. As the box was opened, Elliot was surprised by what is inside the box. A new deck, and not just any randomly thrown together deck, but a deck that focuses on Ice Barrier monsters, Elliot's favorite archetype. "T-This is.... An Ice Barrier deck!" Elliot exclaimed in happiness as he pulled the deck out and looked at it in awe. "Whoa, this is awesome!" Elliot gazed in amazement at the top card, Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier.

For a moment, Elliot was staring into the card as if focusing on something. Suddenly the card began to shine and Elliot felt a familiar chill. "What the- This chill.... G-G-GHOST!!!" Elliot shouted as he stood up. Elliot then noticed what he had just yelled and covered his mouth with his left hand. "(Get a grip of yourself Elliot. There's no such thing as ghosts....)" Elliot was able to calm himself. "Why did the card just shined right now? I must be seeing things...." Elliot then placed the deck down onto the table and headed outside to get to the cafeteria.

[At the Cafeteria]

Elliot arrived there and got into line. It was surprising to see the line was so short. It seems during this hour, not a lot of people were eating. They are probably out honing their skills. After getting a large hamburger, Elliot sat down at a table and awaited for Violet.

Violet's eyes scanned the choices on the menu but no matter how many times she did, she just couldn't understand what most of those dishes where. The kids behind her were getting aggervaited from how long she was taking. Finally she spotted the only thing she was familiar, "I will take the burger, medium rare please." The cafeteria worker just glared at Volet and plopped the burger onto her tray. Violet smiled, grabbed something to drink and left. "That lady was acting very strange. I will have to consult my book later." She mumbled to herself as she searched for a seat, but while doing so she found something better; Elliot.

"Hello again Elliot." She said once she had made her way over to him, and sat next to him. "I am relieved you did not forget our engagement." She inspects the burger in front of her and frowned when she was done. "I thought I had asked for medium rare. The service here leaves much to be desired, and I couldn't understand anything on the menu. What on earth is mac N' cheese? That's the most rediculous name for a food if I had ever heard one."

Elliot was in deep thought about what had occured in his dorm room. He kept thinking about the way Brionac had shined and that familiar chill he felt afterwards. Elliot wasn't one to believe in ghosts and other supernatural things, but that event left quite an impression on Elliot. As Violet arrived and sat next to him, Elliot didin't seem to noticed until a few seconds later. "Huh? Oh Violet, it's you. Of course I didn't forget, I would never forget something important." Elliot reassured her.

Elliot gave a slight chuckle at what Violet said. "Hehe, I guess you don't know that much about the outside world do you? Unlike being in your estate, the outside world just won't give you anything you want. The cafeteria here is not like your kitchen at home. They have set food items and things you know. So if you ordered a burger they're just going to give you a burger in a way that they prepared not in your own custom way." Elliot explained. "Oh and mac N' cheese, well I guess you can describe them as small pasta with cheese sauce." Elliot said while wondering himself about how to describe it.

"Anyways, you had any trouble unpacking? And how's your dorm room? Suprisingly, my dorm room is rather spacious with two bunkbeds. I don't know why they would have two though considering I'm the only person sleeping there." Elliot said.

[Ghoulish]

Yurai and Trak both walked to the dusty Slifer red dorm door. "Uhhh, is it safe to touch?" Trak questioned causing Yura to sigh.

"Yea, but it's been a while since his actually left the dorm room."

"Do u really think he'll be doing his hair? I mean he does try to make it perfect all day every day, but he could of changed?"

Yurai laughed. "Come on trak tha was just a joke of course he does-" Yurai opened the door to find a quiute a tall student wearing a slifer red jacket, his hair was like elvises and he stood in fron to a mirror squinting and sticking his tongue out whilst trying to comb every strain to perfection. When the sttudent noticed the door open, Yurai and Trak both sighed. The student simply smiled.

"Jeano" Yurai stated as he smiled.

Zack walked onto the grounds out of his dorm, his Obelisk Blue dorm jacket blowing in the wind "Today will be- Whoa, is that Akarui over there?!" Zack asked himself as he ran over towards Akarui who had just gotten his Dorm Jacket. "Long time eh?" Zack asked.

Akarui turned around and took the earphones out of hi ears "Huh? Oh yeah, I guess..." Akarui stated.

"STILL bummed because our last duel was a draw?!" Zack asked, judging by Akarui's expression.

"No. Just how things have been going for me." Akarui responded.

"Only one way then. A duel! Not here though. In the arena!" Zack declared.

"!!! Alright!" Akarui responded.

Both Akarui and Zack went to their dorms and grabbed their Duel Disks and decks. Akarui being the first one at the arena... While Zack grabbed about 20 meals worth of food and ate it in 10 minutes at the cafeteria. He finally made it to the arena "Let's go." Zack stated.
