Spoilers aren't working

It may be just me, but around 8:00pm on December 22nd I noticed that peoples signatures and posts had the usual spoiler code written but no dropdown bar is added.

The forum is being updated as we speak. Everybody is having a different result so just give it some time and stop worrying about it for a little while, thanks!

Example:
[spoiler=test 5]Finally fixed![/spoiler]

EDIT: Wow, I guess its new than for posts. But signatures still aren't working yet.

EDIT 2: Some of them are working, some aren't. Please be patient. They are also adding more features to the spoilers.

EDIT 3: Lol, now they're blue and you can edit the spoiler title in any way you'd like.

EDIT 4: Don't go updating and refreshing all of your old posts in fear that terrible things will happen. I'm certain after the update is complete they will all switch to the new spoiler fassion.

EDIT 5: No spaces in the "[ spoiler = __________ ]" part or else it won't work. A substitute you can use for now is to do without spaces of just underscore " _ " it. This also does not work for signatures.

EDIT 6: It works now. However, no crazy custom titles.

But yeah, YCMaker is probably adding a new Spoiler System. Spoiler posts are working fine, but for signatures, some have the old Spoiler System, some have this new Spoiler System, and some like mine, don't have either working at all.

go edit your sig don't change anything and save

Sweet it worked thanks :) Kinda bummed it's the old Spoiler System though. Oh well, better then a page stretching signature.

And just for the record, even though it might be weird, I like the Green Spoilers rather then these old ones slightly. Just because the 'show' part for the Spoilers is way too small, and that how the text color isn't the same then it is whether your posting / in your signature. But nothing will beat the very first YCM spoilers, or well, the spoilers before the server change. They were customizable through Colors, Boldness, everything. It was awesome.

It's not working for your post either. Don't worry, lots of YCMembers are having different problems with the Spoilers at the moment.

Well, you see the new Spoilers we have right now? They were somewhat like it with the white emptiness, except instead of the show, it said 'View' or 'Hide, but you can change the headings color and everything. For example. If you would do something like the following, it would actually show the 'Testing Testing 123' in the color blue, this also worked for italics, bolds, etc. It was pretty cool.

If he wouldn't warn us, he could at least shut down YCM temporarily so he wouldn't have to deal with all these complaints in the middle of his working / editing of YCM.

thats what weve been saying and know if I edit my sig my spoilers will explode

First: Everything was fine
Second: We couldn't use spoilers or the card maker
Third: We had to wait over half an hour for the update
Fourth: Horrible spoilers no uploading
Fifth: Spoilers stop working still no uploading
What a great Christmas Present
