(There is no reason to go any bigger than 1MB thought, because if you have a bigger file size honestly run it through paint because no picture should be that bad unless it's poorly compressed. A 1024x768 HD image is 2-4MB. so no way should 150x150 image should be anything over 1MB or even 200-400kb. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I made my profile photo in Photoshop, and when I was finished with it, I found out my file was waaay too big. I had to reduce the file size, hence the lower quality and all that.
