Am I A Good Roleplayer?

I just don't know anymore...
After a headbutting with Blackstone Dresden, who I think is my friend, but I don't know if he reciprocates, on his new Digimon roleplay, I got to thinking, and I'm having a bit of an existential crisis.
What do you guys think?

I guess I am questioning whether I control a roleplay too much, if I am annoying, how much I seem to pay attention, my writing skills, and whether I get along with other roleplayers.

Since you made this thread you are obviously self-centered. Which probably means you want to steal the show in RPs. So by my deduction, no, you are not a good roleplayer.

For God's sake, Finalfan, Of course you are! You created some great characters, Like Itsu, Great plot twists and red herrings and Overall, I dont see why you should Ask yourself this question! Just keep your and Itsu's head's up and keep Roleplaying as hard as you can!

It depend on the merit or scale you want to be judged by. By what means or reason do you assume your skill and ability has been dampened?

I'm not in every RP with you, but from my observances:

1) Sometimes. In some cases, it's beneficial. Other times, it's not and is definitely annoying, in that you create options or methods that were unwanted, but isn't too controlling as to be called out on.

2) Your most annoying aspects is you recycle the same character(s) a million times and way too often you seem to find characters only worthwhile if they are somehow cybernetic, time travelers, or from a different dimension entirely. These attributes often directly lead to #1, as these characters are typically overly unique, both in power and manner.

3) I dont know what you mean by whether you pay attention.

4) Your writing skills are, to my knowledge, top-notch. You are an excellent RPer in terms of character, personality, and plot.

5) I don't know. I rarely see anyone directly conflicting with you and you have a great deal of respect in my book. But I do think you are an isolated individual, in that your ideas are exclusive to you and close friends, and everyone else is background fodder or material. It may be that those with more passive approachs to RPing (like me) don't realize they're welcome to "intrude" into a development, but I tend to view any plot material involving you and your closer RP friends to be very shut-off from the rest of the RP cast, although purely nonsensical has crossed my mind now and then.

And I don't know, evilfusion. Is there a standardized scale or something?

When I look at your posts in General and here I see proof legendary members generally fail.

I keep no good attitude against egocentric whores. Obviously you're waiting for people to say "Yes, you're a great Role Player, TheFinalFan!" and have your bloated mind be filled with inanite pleasure. I haven't seen any of your works, but as far as I can observe, one thing for sure: Regardless of whether you are good at RP's or not, your ego generally sucks.

Hmm...you know, I'm going to try something. I'm going to find a Yu-Gi-Oh! RP and create a magical character using a Spellcaster/Spell Counter Deck. Totally new person. Any suggestions for a good Yu-Gi-Oh! RP currently going on that I'm not in?

Well, no. I'm curious what aspects do you worry people dislike about you, since your concerns were obviously spawned from a disagreement. Do you question EVERYTHING about your RPing or just one or two areas?

Hey, I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just calling it as I see it. Posting a thread like this means you are either self-centered or have no self-confidence....both make for a bad RPer.
