No wonder why YCM will never be good at card making, because people here can't see that those so called "creative" cards are pretty much...bad. =/ Oh but you know, people will now spam me with the "IT'S MY OPINION" bullshit card. Overall, I have to go for Card B, because it is more original, it's seemingly well put together and overall would see more playability that Card A. -Griffin Posted December 31, 2010 Report Share Posted December 31, 2010 You should probably add 'finished' or something into the title. It seems it is, and I was just about to vote. I'll drop the review to try and highlight my views on the cards anyway. Card A really doesn't seem right. For one, it just doesn't feel like it flows well with the theme of what it's supposed to be. the picture looks high-tech, un-junk-ish, the type's thunder, which feels wrong, and it doesn't seem right that a 'boss' monster is sitting around attached to an opponent's monster. Beyond that, it seems fairly impractical since even with Junk Synchron's effect, you need a total of 5 levels of other monsters, which is a big step up from the others which need a level 4 or lower. It seems directionless in that it jumps between Summoning stuff, burn, stopping an attack and weakening stuff. On top of that, it seems awfully easy to get rid of by tributing and with any old s/t removal, which doesn't really justify the harder-to-acquire level. Feels off-theme, directionless and UP'd. Card B addresses a lot of these issues. It's a Warrior and the image holds up the Junk theme well. The first effect also works theme-wise with Junk Synchron and Warrior. The burn isn't amazing, and people would probably Summon Scrap Archfiend more often, but it still seems more viable than Card A. If I were to make suggestions, though, I'd say to make the attribute DARK (as Junk Synchron) and remove the 'Once per turn' clause - it could make a fun card if it sometimes jumps to a 4000ish beater.
