Pokémon: Rise of Solari(IC/Started/Not Accepting)

[center][i]Many tales have been told of Legendary Pokémon that either have been awakened by a time in a prophecy, when it's injuries have been healed from being attacked millenniums ago, or if a dimensional rift opened. These were the only ways that Legendary Pokémon were awakened, until the day a new Pokémon, unknown to us since the day of it's prophecy, have been awakened by both ways. The great Solari, ancient Pokémon of the Sun. It has been foretold that Solari only appears when a Solar Eclipse shines over the Temple of Solaris, an idolized temple of worship, the proprietors awaiting his every return ever since he first appeared 500,000 years ago.[/i][/center]

It is July 3, 2010, a week after the beginning of Summer Vacation in the Sinnoh Region. Sean Hamato, descendant of Naes Hamato, was preparing to go to the forest to see if he can find injured Pokémon and bring them to his mom. His mother, Carie Hamato, was a Pokémon caretaker. When Sean found injured or sick Pokémon, he would bring it to her and see what she can do about it and how long it will take. Carie is like the Nurse Joy of the family, while Sean's father, Joshua Hamato, is a Gym Leader. Joshua left Carie when Sean was born, though, so they both don't know what town he's a Gym Leader for.

When Sean entered the forest, he began looking around. He then came across an injured Cyndaquil. It was weakly yelling out its name in attempt for calling for help and Sean came to his rescue. "Don't worry, I'll help you," Sean said to him. He slowly grabbed Cyndaquil, making sure not to scare him, and ran back to his house. "Mom, I found one!" yelled Sean. "Good, put him on the bed!" Carie said. Sean put the Cyndaquil on the bed, and Carie began to look at the damage. She saw what looked like a few bruises and and cuts. All it needed was a wrap-up in bandages and some rest. Sean sighed with relief, that it wasn't too serious, as Carie began to wrap around Cyndaquil's bruises and cuts.

Aside from helping out Pokémon nearly everyday, ever since summer vacation, Sean was having visions of what had happened so many millenniums ago. He could not understand why he is having these visions, but he will soon. Sean also is a top-notch battler when it comes to using his Pokémon. He nearly won every battle he was in. The first time Sean battled is when he had a Pikachu, much like Ash Ketchum, only Sean's Pikachu back then was shy and just wanted to make Sean happy. Now, after countless battles, he now has a Charmeleon, and a Wartortle.

Sean then proceeded to go to the city of Sinnoh. With his backpack on his back, he set out for his journey for the day. Then his mother asked if he wanted to be driven there, and he decided to do so. The city was only a few miles away, and Carie didn't want Sean to walk so far. Sean walked in Carie's car and they drove off to the city. Sean had plans on looking at an artifact that was recently found by an archeologist who had an itch for items from ancient times, especially the one he has already found. When Sean made it, the archeologist had begun his announcement. Sean walked through the standing crowd and made it to the front, his mother right beside him.

"Citizens of Sinnoh, I have discovered the most amazing item of ancient times, the Gem of Solaris." said the archeologist as the audience were both confused and amazed at the sight of the new artifact. "It was foretold that this gem was the key to opening the gate to the Temple of Solaris, an ancient worshiping ground that praised the possibly realistic Legendary Pokémon, Solari. And on this gem, reveals an incantation to open the gates of the temple. But the language is of the ones in the very temple themselves, who are now dead. I plan to translate this incantation and open the gates so I may reveal to you what it was like in the ancient times. Now, any questions?"

"I have one!" said a voice from behind Sean. He moved out of the way of the person revealing him to be an elder. He wore a thick black robe that covered the top of his head holding a wooden cane and slouching over. He slowly walked up to the front and the archeologist said, "Of course. Anything for our senior citizens." "Well..." began to elder man. "Do you believe that some of the worshipers of Solari could have had descendants that are alive today?" The archeologist thought for a moment and replied, "Hm, I never really thought of that, but it's possible, I guess. And if there happens to be descendants of Solari's worshipers, perhaps I should look into the names of these very people. Now, any more questions?" "I have another one." said the elder. "Very well." "If these descendants knew the history of their ancestors, do you believe it is possible that the descendants have memorized the language their ancestors spoke and be able to read the gem's incantation?" "I guess I haven't thought of that either. That might also be true, but I can't know for sure." He then heard his watch beep, telling him his time is up. "I guess I'm done for now. Thank you all for your time. If you have any other questions or if you want to know my full explanation of this announcement, I'll be in the building behind me. Just ask for my name and they'll tell you where I am in the building if you'd like to speak with me. Again, I am glad for your cooperation, so thank you for your time." The archeologist then packed his things and headed into the hotel behind him. The audience, including Sean and Carie, applauded at the man's speech.

However, something was a bit abnormal about one particular person in the audience. It wasn't a person, but rather a robot with a camera for a head, disguised as a little boy wearing a baseball cap to hide it head. The source of the camera was two particular men, viewing what was recorded in the announcement on a small video screen, chuckling at what they are seeing, their faces shrouded in the darkness around them only revealing their mouths. "It seems we have found our way to the gates." said one of the men in a deep voice. "Yes, and it's about time we bring this plan into action." said the other man in a more higher voice than the first man. The two then made a harmonically evil laugh.

Sean and Carie then began to walk away, as did the audience, the elder man looking at Sean weirdly. Sean saw this, but shrugged it off, hoping not to see that man in the future. "Well, that was interesting." said Carie. "Yeah, but I wonder if any of that is true?" asked Sean. "Oh, don't be ridiculous. It's just a gem. The story is something you'd say to a 6-year-old to make him or her fall asleep. Don't listen to him." Sean sighed as they continued to walk away from the crowd, Sean asking himself a few questions in his mind. [i]How did that archeologist come across that gem? Was that story he spoke of really true? What will happen if this story is true and will it effect my life?[/i]

Reika tapped her foot impaitiently glancing at her watch. "Auntie, hurry up! We'll miss the annoucement!"
An irritated sigh came from up the stairs of Reika's house. "Allright, allright, I'm coming!" Her aunt trudged down the stairs slowly. "You're taking the hot air ballon Rei, you know that." She muttered.
"Yeah, I know, but you're coming too, remember?"
Her aunt shook her head. "No I'm not. You're a big girl; Go yourself."
Reika sighed. "You could have told me that sooner!" She grumbled, pushing the door open. Tiny snowflakes glittered in the lamp light as she walked through the open doorway.
A few moments later, Reika stopped at the waiting point. Lookin around, she saw the rest of Snowpoint City, the house covered with mounds of snow. As she watched, a small mound fell of a roof onto someone's head. Reika shuddered, not of cold, but of memories she'd rather forget. Of the avalanche that had killed her family......
"Hey, get over here already!" Reika snapped out of her thoughts as the hot air ballon landed. "Get on already!" The pilot called gruffly. With a sigh, Reika bounded over, and clambered onto the hot air ballon. After some tweaks, the fire above her head grew in size, and the ballon rose slowly into the air...

About an hour later, the baloon landed, and Reika jumped off, quickly paying the pilot before bounding off into the crowd. She'd long before gotten rid of her jacket, so she only wore her usual black kimono. After a moment, she found the perfect spot to be able to see the proceedings. She listened wide-eyed at the speech about Solari, and the gem that could supposedly summon said Pokemon.
"Creepy." She whispered. Then she saw the elderly man come up and ask about desendants of worshippers being able to read the ancient incantation on the side of the gem. Reika had to admit it was an interesting theory, perhaps possible. When the man left, she applauded along with the crowd.
"[i]That was interesting[/i]" She thought. Looking around, she saw one of her friends. She walked over. "Hey Sean!" She called.

Sean had heard a familiar voice and looked around to see Reika. "Hey Reika!" he called back as he ran towards her. Carie chuckled as he saw this. "Well, what a coincidence." she said to herself. Sean came up to her and said, "So, you watched the announcement as well? I gotta admit the story seems interesting, and maybe it's actually true." Sean was always glad to see his friends, especially Reika. To Sean, Reika was the one person that he was glad to meet at the tournament he entered 2 years ago. He apparently got lucky and one the match between him and her in the finals by a narrow shot. It just seemed he was a bit better than her, yet he didn't want to tell that to her. Sean is kinda glad she looks up to him. If she didn't he wouldn't be that excited to see her as he was now. "Do you think we should talk to that guy and get more info? I'd like to know more about Solari. What do you think? Maybe we can have Lex join us, too."

Reika nodded. "Yeah. The story as pretty cool, and who WOULDN'T want to learn more about Solari? Afterall, I've never heard of it. So yeah, maybe we should go chat to that man." She looked around at the dispersing crowd. "I haven't seen Lex yet, but maybe she's hidden in part of the crowd. But if she's here, we could all go talk to the man. But, if she isn't here, then she'll just have to miss out. But I don't think she'd have missed out on this, knowing her."

"What's this about me missing out? You can't forget about us can you?" Lex appeared suddenly behind Sean with a hurt look on her face. Though her eyes were twinkling suggesting laughter. Ninetails sat net to her. "Nine!", the fire fox pokemon greeted the other trainers happily. The pair walked closer. Lex laughed at the surprise her her best friend's faces. "Didn't scare you did we?" She stopped. "Anyway. How are you guys? It's been awhile hasn't it?" The last time Lex had seen the pair was right before break. She had spent theentire break in the Hoen region training and couldn't wait to show them her new partner.

"Oh, hey Lex! No, you DIDN'T scare us!" Reika laughed. "We were planning to go talk to the guy that just made the annoucement about the Gem of Solari, so we could learn more about Solari itself. I didn't see you in the crowd, so I was saying you might miss out. Obviously I'm wrong." Reika said. "So, what'd you get up to over break? Catch anymore Pokemon?" Reika asked, fingering a Pokeball at her waist. That Pokeball contained Warrior Queen, her Lucario. She hadn't let her Pokemon out of their balls for a while. "[i]I'll do it soon[/i]" She thought.

Lex laughed. “I cought the first boat to the Hoen region as soon as I could. You guys should have seen all the different pokemon ad trainer s over there. There were quiet a few really strong trainers and pokemon there..anyway. I basically explored the Hoen region and got in a lot of training along the way.” Lex paused as she removed two pokeballs from her waist. “As for me catching any new pokemon. Well I’ll let you two see for yourself.” She tossed the pokeballs up into the air and a Vaporeon and Swampert appeared. She had Vaporeon really since she had left. Only then she was still an Evee. Swampert was her brand new partner. “Meet Vaporeon and Swampert. I evolved Eevee with a water stone and then I cought and raised a Mudkip.” She rubbed both pokemon’s heads.

"Nice!" said Sean in awe. "Well, it's glad to see you. In fact..." Sean then wrapped both his arms around Reika and Lex's shoulders. "I'm glad to see my two best friends by my side." Then suddenly, his bag zipper opened by a little. Then a light flashed from inside and hit the ground, taking form of a mouse-like creature. It was then realized that it was Pikachu. Sean released his grip from Reika and Lex, bent down, looked at Pikachu and asked, "What is it, Pikachu?" Pikachu had smelled something. Tracking it, he began to head towards the building the archeologist was staying at. "Pikachu, where're you going?" He looked towards Reika and Lex. "Guys, help me catch him. He's lost it! "

Quickly Lex returned Swampert and Vaporeon. “Yeah we’ll help. Looks like it’s headed towards that archeological building. I wonder what’s gotten into it though?” Lex shrugged and took off after the mouse-like creature. Ninetails was right at her heels. She had never seen any of Sean’s pokemon act like this before. Not even when the two of them were just starting off as brand-new trainers. ‘So why is Pikachu acting like this now?’, she thought. ‘Oh well. No matter what’s goptten into Sean’s pokemon all of a sudden one thing is for sure. We’ve got to catch it.’ She stopped and turned around, “Hey! Are you two coming?!” Then she and Ninetails gave chase again and chased it all the way up to the enterence of the building.

"I wonder what Pikachu is doing?" She muttered. She then saw Lex take off. "Wait for me!" She called. She ran, and caught up to Lex fairly easily. After all, have you tried to run in the snow? If you can run fast in the snow, you can run really fast out of it, right? As the three of them chased after Pikachu, Reika was thinking. "[i]Why would Pikachu escape from his Pokeball and run off? Does it know something we don't?[/i]"

"Guys, wait up!" yelled Sean as he ran towards Lex and Reika. This was the first time Pikachu had found something strange, and had decided to run off on him. Maybe something has happened and Pikachu had smelled it. This was strange, yet Sean felt there was a point to it. Sean caught up to Pikachu and asked, "What's going on, Pikachu?" Pikachu then came across something he hadn't expected. It was a gemstone, one in the shape of the sun and orange in color, with unknown words on the back. "This is..." Sean's eyes widened. "The Gem of Solari! The man must've dropped it and didn't notice it!" He turned to the others. "Guys, if we can find the temple of Solaris, maybe we can find a way to summon Solari!" Pikachu then yelled in excitement. Sean nodded in agreement.

"I don't think so..." said a voice from behind them. Two figures were before them, both of them wearing a black uniform with a red capital "P" embedded on their upper body. The uniform was also gloves that covered the arms a bit, and boots that cover the ankles. The only difference between the two were that one had short blond hair and red eyes, and the other had brown medium hair with green eyes. "If you don't mind, boy, maybe you should hand over that gem, if you wish?" said the same man. "I don't think so. What makes you think I would give this up? Who are you guys?" "Like you need to know." said the other man. "Either give it to us now, or we'll take it from you!" "Hm, just try it then!"

Reika was rather surprised to see the Gem of Solari just lying on the ground. It was more interesting close up. She could see the strange symbols, very strange indeed. Who knew what they could mean? She nodded her head in agreement at what Sean said. Summoning Solari would aloow them to learn more about it, something Reika was rather eager to do. This small line of thought was broken when she heard someone say, "I don't think so....." She spun around. Two figures stood there, where black uniforms, with a large red capital "P" on the upper body. She heard them say they wanted Sean to give them the gem. "No chance!" She interrupted. "If you want the Gem of Solari, you'll have to go through Sean and I first!" She grabbed her Pokeballs. "Go! Danzi! Kai! Warrior Queen!" Lines of red shot from the Pokeballs, and struck the ground. "Lucario!" Warrior Queen growled, standing in front of the three of them in a defensive stance. "Piplup Pi!" Muttered Kai, as it stood in front of Warrior Queen. "Dragonair!" Danzi called. He planted himself in between Kai and Warrior Queen, finishing off Reika's Pokemon shield.

Lex fallowed Reika's lead and tossed two pokeballs into the air. VAporeon and Swampert reappeared and took their places next to Ninetails. "Who cares who they are Sean? You can tell just by looking at them they're no good. And that means I have absalutly no problem doing this. Ninetails flamethrower! Vaporeon ice beam! Swampert use whirlpool!", Lex orderd wasting no time attacking the men right off the bat. She had too much experience with bad guys and strange people in the Hoen region. She knew a bad guys when she saw one and these guys definetly qualified in Lex's book. All three attacks melded together to form a giant vortex of water, fire and ice. It ripped through the cave (?) heading right for the men. "Like Reika said. You creeps are going to have to go through us to get this gem!"
