Sadly, I agree with this. Some of these nominations are just absurd, and some of these people I've never seen around Custom, well, Realistic Cards, along with a few I didn't know were pretty good in Card Making. Also, may the other 2 judges (Me and Composer), help you with ideas for the requirements and whatnot for each round? Just asking.

Who are any of you to decide if someone is worthy or not? If they get 3 nominations, they clearly are worthy enough to be in the competition, those with 1 or 2 nominations won't get through, the competition layout filters people who perhaps aren't as good as others out. Besides, everyone has seen different cards by different people, one persons favourite won't be anothers.

 

The people with 3 votes up to now all deserve to be there, at least from what I've seen. :ph34r:

Bribes exist. And most people who stay in contests the whole time have no idea who the good card makers are.

Yes, bribes do exist, but seeing as its practically impossible to determine if anyone has been bribed (the likelihood of it is low) its just one of those things. What would you suggest instead? Not allowing someone a place in the competition because you think theirs a chance they may have bribed someone?

The thing is: Will the "good" cardmakers want to participate?

My question has been missed by Smesh. Also, no offense, but why do most of the good card makers here only have 1 nomination? D:

 

I can only speak for myself, but I only nominated those who would most likely also want to participate. What's the point in nominating, for example, Clair (just an example), who is an excellent card maker, but will most likely not show up?
