Why are we really here?...That Genji fella sad something about this being Power Prep.....And that kid made the salt shaker thing levitate, and that chick is practically glowing. Saiyu thought looking off too the side, and laying her chin in her hand. She looked around and saw that a lot of the other kids were busy with whatever. If we're here because wer have powers then....What can I do? Saiyu stood up saying, "I'll be back." She wasn't expecting any of them to care too much seeing as they had only just met, but she felt not doing so would be rude. She walked out of the cafeteria and into the hallway rigt on the other side. There was a window not too far from her so she leaned on the window ledge trying to think now that she had some quiet. "Now...Where would I start?...I guess simply concetraiting would do."

Deamon sat up quickly. He was sweating and gasping. His eye lids peeled back too show small black lines retreating from his iris. "Th- -gasp- -ank you -gasp-" Deamon managed, it was like he was holding back a flood gate of pain. His hair was wet from the sweat, so it was much darker. His bright, piercing blue, eyes had a sick, dark glaze on them. Deamon's breathing calmed and the pain eased a bit. He sighed. "My name is Deamon..." He mumbled.

"Huh?" Reika noticed somebody coming towards her. He asked a question. "No I don't. All I remember is my name. Oh well. Maybe the more we attend this Power Prep place, the more memory we get back." She answered cheerfully. "Oh, I almost forgot. My name's Reika. Reika Casterwill. Nice to meet you Vagner." She brushed hr fringe out of her eyes, and was struck with a thought. "Hold on. Just then, some guy used a magic light to make someone up. In that case, do I have powers too? If so, what could they be?"

Kazuya watched sat up sweating and gasping then saying thank you Kazuya, while Kazuya was thinking about what he would be thanking him for the boy had calmed down and the light shining on the boy returned to it's normal state, the boy's breathing returning to normal as he mumbled his name. "Seeing that you were asleep at the table back there you probably weren't able to hear my name.. Kazuya" he then says before sitting down against the wall nearby deamon. "what just happened to you?" he asked wondering why the boy sounded as if he was struggling with pain when he first woke up .

While the others were eating and enjoying themselves, no one noticed a mild haze float over the table where most of them were. That soon changed.

"AH CRAP!" Aran yelled as he turned from Mist to Human form.

He collapsed on top of the table, spilling food and plates all around. He got up in a flash. After a swift brushing of the food off his clothes, he noticed where he was. On the table. With everyone staring at him. He made a nervous grin.

"Um...hi." He managed to say.

He instantly transformed into his Mist Form again and floated away, quickly. He turned a few corners before turning back into Human Form. He slumped up against a wall and put his hands to his head.

"AUGH!" He yelled, frustrated, "I just made myself look like a complete idiot!"

He sighed, and looked around.

Well, there is no way I'm going back into the cafeteria. Not after what just happened. I wouldn't be able to handle the embarrassment!

He proceded to eat some of the leftover food on his clothes. He chuckled.

"Whoever said 'Your first impression is your only impression'...I sure hope he was wrong."

"Well, its good to know I'm not insane." Vagner said, more happy now he was actualy having a conversation. "Its good to meet you to." His mind was still thinking about the other people he had seen, and the misty guy who just crashed on a table had driven him to the point of asking. "Do you... do you think all of us have powers?" he inquired. He didn't want to seem rude, but he was quite excited that he had a power, and he didn't want to seem like a fool doing a silly jig to try and get an imaginary power to work and then be disapointed in the result. But it would be cool. As he asked, he ate another peice of french toast. "Want one?" he asked politely.

Reika shrugged. "Who knows? A couple of people on that crowded table," Reika pointed at the table with Saiyu, Vayne and the others. " Seem to have powers. They can conjure lights, turn into mist......... And besides, this place is called Power Prep. That implies that the students here do have powers. Only question is, what are they?" She smiled. "It'd be cool to have a really strong power, wouldn't it?" She thought about possible powers, when Vagner offered her some toast. "No thank you." She said politely. "I think I've had enough food for the moment."

"It was...ugh... it was... uhm... Nothing... Nothing at all..." Deamon mumbled as he stood and ran out of the large room. Just before he left the doors, he looked back at Sondance and stood for a second. "Who is she?..." He asked himself, running from the room after. He down the halls for a little bit, working off as much energy he could, but he didn't seem too be running out of it. He kept running until he saw a sign that pointed to a door that appeared too be the boy's bathroom. He charged in and stood at the counter with the sinks and the large mirror. "What is wrong with me?... What am I... what was with that dream?... Who was that girl?... Why did I feel like we knew each other?..." Deamon asked himself, actually feeling like someone will answer him. He looked into his eyes through the mirror too find dark lines appearing in his eyes. He was more frightened too find a black shape molding itself on his forehead, it crawled its way down his face and formed into the same mask from his dream. Emotions left him as the mask began too grow small horns. Shoulder plates formed as a chest piece did. Deamon wasn't Deamon anymore. But what was he becoming?

Cypher had left the cafeteria and begun to explore the halls of the building. Cypher started to wander in thought, Power Prep School... how fun. Cypher raised his hand in front of him, "Its a shame I can't use my ability on myself. I could entertain myself until things get rolling". Cypher wandered into the bathroom and saw a man as something was overcoming him. He stood for a moment taking in what he was seeing. "Are you-," he saw the formless thing become a mask. Cypher smirked, "Your an odd one aren't you. Are you losing control?" Cypher sat back on the wall and decided to watch what was happening to him, "At least your more entertaining than the hallways".

Starla noticed Deamon run out the door. Curious she fallowed him but waited across the hallway. Normally she wouldn't have interfeared like this but for a moment Starla was sure she felt a powerfull negative energy blast off of Deamon. She leaned against the wall so that the sun hit her and warmed her up. The negative energy blast had chilled her to the bone before. She knew she should probly leave it a lone but found herself wanting to help if she could. She sighed eyeing the door ready to use her power if she hadtoo. Negavtive energy filled the hallway. "What's going on?', she thought.

Deamon was now Demon. His body was completelly covered in black plate armor. His hands were now claws and a long whip-tail slid out off his back. He turned too the other boy and stood for a few seconds. Black dust from his transformation began too cyclone around the room. Demon turned torward the door and stepped out. It looked over at the girl and froze. Demon's body began too Crack and pieces fell off. When the pieces fell, they turned into black dust and scattered across th floor. The last piece was the mask, it dropped in a single piece hit the floor as black dust. The Demon's eyes where revield as glowing red eyes with a green dot in the middle of each. They looked past the like she didn't matter. Demon became Deamon as fell too his knees'

Noticing her power had some kind of a positive effect on Deamon Starla let her power go completly. This caused the hallway to become brighter. The chill of the blast of negative energy was gone and replaced by a warm yellow energy instead. Noticing Deamon had returned to normal and fell to his knees Starla walked over. She grabed Deamon and helped him up. She looked him squarly in the eyes. She let her energy engulf the hall and anyone in the hall or within five feet or within a foot of it. This included them and the boy she had heard in the bathroom with Deamon. "You....um...ok?", Starla asked.

Cypher followed as the man as he ran past him. He saw the girl and the man who had been formerly covered in a black metal collapse as well as his power. He pointed at the girl, "You there! What did you do? It would have been much more fun to see him go berserk". Cypher walked to the boy and knelt down to cup some of the black dust in his hand, "How interesting. I should examine-". Just as he said that the dust dispersed into the air. "Pity". He then looked at the girl, "This place is full of surprises". Cypher got up and walked away, "I'll let you to have your intimate moments, tah tah". Cypher turned a corner and sat against the wall then pulled out a notepad scribbling down some sentences.

Deamon gave his all just too remain off the ground. The people and words that were said had just been blurred away. He breathed heavy as his energy dwindled away. Something was off, the area around him was... Making him sick? His hair frayed and his skin wrinkled. He took a deep breath as he fainted. "Hello, Deamon... This seriously is not healthy... what have you been doing with our body?" "... Was it you?" Deamon asked. "What?" "That... Thing..."

Starla let go of Deamon and glared at Cypher as he walked away. Her temper flared a little and one of the light bulbs burst. The shards fell to the ground with a soft tinkling sound. She calmed her temper right away. “Come near me again buddy and I’ll show you beserk.”, she hissed under her breath. She felt cold air on her hand. With a shock she looked down and stared wide eyed. She had started to remove one of her gloves. Starla quickly put it back on and sighed with relief. She had almost done the number one thing she was afraid of but luckily she was able to avoid it. She gathered the energy back to her and formed her shield around her again. She kept watching the place Cypher had walked off, ‘This is going to be one interesting school year.’, she thought.

Aran awoke with a start. He heard a slight crash of what seemed to sound like a lightbulb shattering.

What the hell? What was...crap, I was sleeping again. He thought while getting up.

He turned a quick corner, and was surprised to see a guy, knocked out, on the floor and a girl standing next to him. He backed up a bit, and peered around the corner.

Did...did she do that? If she did, how? No, no, she probably didn't. But how did he get knocked out? I need a closer look.

He slightly exploded, and turned to Mist form. He slowly crept up on the two, making sure he wasn't to noticeable. He hung over them, being careful as to not missing a single sound.

Due to her sheild being up again Starla was oblivious to Aran's still present energy. She had no idea he was there. After a minute of glaring after the place Cypher had disappeared to Starla grabed Deamon again. 'Don't tell me I'll be playing referee.', she thought. Very calmly with delecate footsteps she helped Deamon to the nurse. If there was anyone that could fix this it was the nurse. They walked right past Aran and turned the corner to the nirse’s office. Starla knocked on the door and helped Deamon inside. After dropping him off Starla walked out and headed out to explore the school grounds. The sun felt good on her and she smiled. It was agreat day out and the bright warm sun cheered her up from what just happened in the hall.

Cypher had finished his notes. As soon as the boy and girl were gone Cypher came back to the spot. He stopped in the middle of the hall. "Your good, but you need to remember that your not entirely invisible". Cypher snapped his fingers and 2 metal walls appeared from the ground that sealed off the hallway. "I hate to leave things unanswered, who are you?" Cypher smiled at his own superiority. "I like adding to my index, perhaps I could experiment on you". Cypher kept on guard preparing for the man to appear.

Aran stayed floating in mid-air. He began to panic.

What does this guy want? Man, I don't want to appear before him...but I don't think I have a choice! Erg...options, options. What can I do!

He looked around. Nothing to the left, and nothing to the right. There seemed to be no way out. He frantically swirled around the room, a sign of stress. he suddenly stopped.

That's it!

Slowly, the mist in the air began to form together, seeming as though he was about to turn into Human Form again. But suddenly, he exploded, creating a dense haze throughout the entire enclosed space.

As thick as pea soup.

The particles of mist that made up his body spread as far apart as he could possibly try, attempting to make himself practically invisible.

All I need is an opportunity...

Cypher turned and scanned the room after the explosion. As long I keep those walls he can't wander to far, he thought. "This gonna be strainful," Cypher put his hand to his head. The room began to shrink, the windows blackened, and the doors disappeared. "Who every you are your almost more trouble than your worth. Of coarse, then again, I love a challenge. Cypher began to fell the strain of his power, because I can't see him I needed to effect the area, that's a lot to maintain. "Come out, now! Or I'll-,"

Cypher feel to his knees, transforming though an area is to difficult, I'm losing my grip, he thought. The room begun to re expand, the windows and doors came back and the walls re sunk. "Damn it, that's a pesky ability of yours. It seems you get to escape little mouse". Cypher's head begun to go in pain, "I'll experiment on you when I see you in human form". Cypher got up and kneeled against the wall and limped away.

Geez, what a creep. Glad I was able to escape. Yay for stealth.

He floated out the nearest window, high into the air. he felt the awe inspiring warmth of the sun. Such a feeling made him glad to be alive. But then, he notcied something about himself. He was turning into his Haze Form! This made him a big, easy to spot blotch of white in a cloudless sky. He quickly went back down into some shade, where he turned back into Mist Form.

Ok. Avoid sun if you want to stay unseen. Got it.[/s]

He proceeded to turn back into Human Form and slump up against a wall.

"I've earned me some shut eye." He mumbled, drifting off.

OOC: Haze form works better as a Smoke Grenade. Mist form works better for stealth.

After standing there for who knows how long Saiyu smiled as she looked at the tip of her finger. Electricity as dancing across the tip in an entrancng patteren. , The lights in the hallway she was in grew increadibly dim, soafter a while of playing with her ability she figured that she had to draw the electricity from a source. "I wonder if I could even conjure it out of thin air. Electric waves are always passing through the air from hundreds of radio waves and signals. It shouldn't be too hard....Just takes a lot more concentraiting." Saiyu wasn't about to try out her theoy though, because just doing that had tired her out. So she released the electrcity and the lights returned to full blast. "That's a prett neat ability."

Saiyu slid down the wall into a sitting position. "Now my next mystey is who the hell am I....And why does Vayne seem so familiar to me. He doesn't remember anything either." She sighed, "This sucks...If I could remember who he was then I may remember smething about myself, and vice verca. And If I remember that, I might be able to remind him of who he was. I may not have even known him that well....Were we friends? a couple?" She scratched her head, "Did even know him at all? Maybe I saw him once, and just remembered his face."

"No...He only seemed familiar after I knew his name....So I must have known him....GHHAAA!!" Saiyu screamed and grabbed her head. "All this thinking i hurting my head!" She sighed and jutted her lower lip out in a pout, "For now I'll just take things as they come. All this thinking is tiring."

Starla walked around the grounds looking around. She let the sun shine hit her and she, in turn, absorbed it's warmth and energy. Feeling fully energized now she looked around frantically. She had to make sure absalutly nobody saw her. WHen she was sure nobody was around to see her Starla held her hand palm out and facing hte sky. A little orb of green energy gatherd there. "Good.", she said smiling. She closed her hand over the orb and concentrated her powers. When she opened her palm there was a little dagger glowing green in her palm in place of the orb. Quick as a flash Starla threw the dagger and it slammed into the tree trunk with a thud. Starla wanted to try her more powerfull weapons but dare not use them in public unless hse had real need to.

Aran sat there against the tree. He awoke, again interrupted by what was going on, suddenly. He scrambled forward, startled by the thud. He got up to his feet swiftly and turned around. He saw that it was Starla, the girl from earlier.

Its her! When did she get here? Wait...oh, crap. This is awkward. Err...

He was quick to transform to mist. But he was in the beating sun, causing him to turn to Haze Form. He looked around quickly. He could not see any shade nearby. He panicked.

Nowhere to go, nowhere to go! Eh...that way!

He shot off to the right, doing a sort of Zigzag in the process.

Starla sighed expecting people to run off from her for one reson or another. But she was glad of it in some way. From what she had seen so far she was the oldest student in the school. ‘Well I am 18.’, she thought. Now choosing to use her powers to make sure now one was around Starla felt for any near by energies. There were other energies around her but not too terribly close. Still Starla made a small trek along a path in the woods until she came to a small clearing. She removed a glove and placed her bear palm on a young sapling tree. Right away the sapling was drained completely of it’s energy and it now surrounded Starla’s hand. Focusing again Starla forced the energy to become a whip. This was her favorite weapon. It looked relatively harmless but in the right hands was deadly. She lashed it at a rocks sliscing it in several slabs.
