Ghost Rare
No offense to the guy above, not everyone cares about prizes.(Points mean nothing anymore so most people dont care about them.) Im in. My entry Ares, God of War Effect - When this card is Normal Summoned, destroy 1 card on the field and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the Level of the destroyed card x200, Spell & Trap cards used in this effect are treated as Level 1. Once per turn, you can discard your entire hand to have this card gain ATK equal to the amount of cards discarded x100 until the End Phase. If this card is in your Graveyard during your Standby Phase, you can pay half your Life Points to Special Summon it, if you do so it is removed from play at the End Phase. Hila Ⅰ
Oh I am going to enter, finaly I can bring out my Pagan knowledge :D I'll have my card up in a minute Here you go...
This card can be Special Summoned from your hand if you control a face up "Hades - Lord of the Underworld". If you control another Fiend-type monster this card cannot be selected as an attack target. When a monster is destroyed by battle, by paying 500 Life points you can summon it to the original controllers opponents side of the field in the battle position it was in when destroyed. This card is not destroyed as a result of Trap card effects.
krspaceT1
Let me explain, I made them so low to help inspire new people on the site, those who need a good start up contest or a easy possibility for point boost and reps. Charon s considered a god in some contexts, so I'll keep him on, but I was originally planning a Greek support round, and I personally thought Charon would be there, but none the less, he'll work
nightwing99
Lore: This card can only be special summoned by removing 3 warrior type monsters from your deck from play. This card increases the ATK of every Warrior type monster on your side of the field by 500. You can add one Equip Spell card from your deck or graveyard to your hand once per turn. Once per turn, you can remove one Equip spell card equipped to this card to destroy one monster on the field.
krspaceT1
Two guys left to join, and for those already here, be ready to start thinking about the next topic.......Far Eastern God and Legend related cards (Far East; China, Japan, Korea, Indochina, Indonesia and the Philippines, but avoid Buddhist, Hindu or any other major modern religon (I don't need cards that could offend religious people on sight, it also goes against some rules of the site), and to those already in, good luck
krspaceT1
Attention, if no one adds to this contest by 8 Oclock Eastern Standard Time tomorrow Afternoon, only you three will go forward.
krspaceT1
Times Up, the loser is Nightwing99, your card is overpowered (In summoning, power up and equip/destroy.) Now, normally I'd send you the third prize, but you didn't send in points (Something I overlooked yesterday when I was last on), so doing so wouldn't be fair........ Okay, so the Third Place prize is added to second place, so now Hil and Ghost, prepare for the final showdown, which I am suping up because I was hoping for more if the next round was to occur.... Create, ANY god (Any pantheon at all, except for Thor, Loki and Thor), in any monster card form you choose. Then, you are to create (By either written card or actual card format) at least 3 cards that provide support to this card or an archetype which this card is on top. Good luck, and because of space efforts, spoiler box it. Ghost, because you are new, here is the Code for creating spoiler boxes [spo (Ignore this part, just to keep it from being a spoiler box plain) iler=Rules] [/spo (Ignore this part, just to keep it from being a spoiler box plain) iler]
Hila Ⅰ
Oooh any god you say?? He he mine will be up soon :D ok heres my cards
This card cannot be destroyed as a result of battle, or by a Trap card effect. When this card is Normal Summoned, you can add up to 3 "Lituai" or "Dievturiba" monsters from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. When this card destroys a monster as a result of battle increase this cards ATK/DEF by 500. If this cards ATK or DEF is higher than 4000 you can tribute this card to Special Summon a monster from your Deck, ignoring the summoning conditions. When this card is targeted by a card effect, you can tribute this face up monster to destroy all cards your opponent controls.
Chosen by the Priests of Giltine are these Warriors. They paint their skin Grey and their sword in blood to intimidate their foe. They will die for their faith and the promise of merit in Dievturiba drives these Warriors to slaughter any opposition.
As long as this card is face up on the field, "Lituai" and "Dievturiba" monsters cannot be destroyed by battle. In addition you can Normal Summon or Set "Lituai" monsters without a tribute. You must send the top 2 cards of your deck to the Graveyard to keep this card on the field. During your 5th Standby phase after activation, destroy this card and add 1 "Secret Temple of Dievturiba" from your Deck to your Hand.
As long as this card remains face up on your side of the field you do not have to discard carsd from the top of your deck for any effect. During your Standby Phase, you can pay 1000 Life points. If you do during this turn any battle damage you take is inflicted as effect damage to your opponent instead. Ghost Rare
Going to be tough to beat. But here is my try. Im going for a much more well known god, Anubis. I have gone on a control theme for my cards(im only featuring the big cards) and even if i don't win i can make an awesome new archetype from this contest using my idea i got for my Anubis control so thanks.
Effect - This card is also treated as a Zombie-Type monster. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set this card cannot be Special Summoned except by tributing at least 3 Level 5 or higher "Anubis" monsters you control. This card cannot attack your opponent directly. When this card is Summoned your opponent must remove from play all cards from their hand, field and Graveyard and Draw 3 cards. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, at your opponents End Phase they can have only 1 card in their hand, 1 card on the field and 1 card in the Graveyard, any other cards are removed from play.
Effect - This card is also treated as a Zombie-Type monster. This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Deck. Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 "Anubis" monster from your Graveyard. Once per turn if this card would be destroyed you can discard 2 cards from your hand to negate that destruction. Effect - This card is also treated as a Zombie-Type monster. This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Deck. When this card is Summoned, remove from play all cards in your opponents Graveyard. As long as this card remains face-up on the field any of your opponents cards that would be sent to the Graveyard are removed from play instead. Once per turn, you can discard 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to remove from play 1 card of the same type your opponent controls. Effect - This card is also treated as a Zombie-Type monster. This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Deck. When this card is Summoned, remove from play all cards that your opponent controls. As long as this card remains face-up on the field your opponent can only control 1 monster at a time. Once per turn, you can pay 1000 Life Points to destroy 1 face-down Spell or Trap Card. krspaceT1
Hmmm..............................................Well, Ghost Rare Wins. For the following reasons he has won. Originality; While Anubis has been used, in about 2 cards (4 if you count the jackal nights), your cards resemble the Lightsworns a lot. I respect the archtype, but still too similar. Relation to God; Your choice, Hila, was more of a pagan movement as far as I was able to tell. Anubis is a god, and not a movement. Also, because of the Egyptians scattered story ways, Anubis could take on all the roles he did above in different "Card lifetimes", sort of like how Grepher moves his story along amongst the cards, for instance. Balance; Hila, your indestructible card to all but spell and monster effects is troublesome. Ghost's ace card may remove cards, but it can't attack directly your ace is a difficult to stop wall of destruction. Your effect to negate the requirements of any monster to special summon it is extremely Overkillish (I don't need easier summonings of Yubel Ultimate Nightmare or SKYFIRE, just saying) Defender's effect reminds me a little too much of a hybrid between Amazoness Swordswoman and Lightsworn cards. Point and reps comming, and Admins be free to lock
Hila Ⅰ
Oh may i say Giltine is a god, also milling is common in various cards, also I played down my monster, so what if it can summon a bunch 1 strong monster. Serket/TOK can do that. Also, its very easy to destroy heres 5 cards that can:RykoLightning VortexSoul TakerNight AssailantNewdoria And personally my summoning effect is a lot weaker than his lockdown effect, Also you didn't ask for a story in cards, you asked for a god, then cards related to it and support eg. My Temple, My Warriors and My Sacred Priest guy-thing and personally I think thatt praise should be issued for using a minority unlike the OU Anubis. Black Luster envoy of the beggining was banned for a reason, and Ghost Rares effect is a suped up version of that :? I doubt your decision but congrats Ghost Rare
