300 years have passed since Avatar Aang defeated Fire Lord Ozai, and Fire Lord Zuko took over the thrown. With his and the Avatar's combined help the world was once again in a time of peace. The great kingdom of Ba Sing Se returned to the Earth Kingdom's rule. The Southern and Northern water, although stayed separate, kept constant communication with each other, and soon the Southern Tribe's small village flourished into one almost as great as the Northern Tribe. The greatest achievement, of the Southern Water Tribe, was that their water benders returned, and unlike the Northern Water Tribe, both women and men were able to learn.

The most amazing recovery was that of the Air Nomads. A people, who everyone thought to be long gone, were suddenly appearing in all sorts of places. From all over the world air benders were revealing themselves, most of them coming from large cities in the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom. In 100 years time all four Air Temples had been repopulated. The only thing was that with there were no animals that were native to the Air temples, as all were killed off centuries ago. Soon Aang died, and the next Avatar was born into the water tribe. This Avatar, Avatar Kaya, was born in a time of peace and she went about her life like any normal female would. True there were small disturbances here and there, but nothing serious.

Even through the first years of Avatar Quan's life, the avatar born to the Earth Kingdom, everything was fine. It wasn't until Avatar Quan was that age of 73, did the new Fire Lord, Fire Lord Raizen, make his move, taking advantage of the relaxed state of the world. Fire Lord Raizen, 3rd generation after Fire Lord Zuko, had read up on the history of the great Fire Lord Ozai, and instantly he believed that he had the right idea. It was apparent that the time of peace was quickly coming to its end. The Fire Lord took the world by surprise, quickly taking over most of the minor Earth Kingdom towns. Large invasion forces were sent to both the Air Temples, and the Water Tribes. They are just barely able to hold the Fire Nation back.

Avatar Quan had no choice but to face the young and powerful Fire Lord, and even in his old age he was no push over. He fought Fire Lord Raizen in one of the greatest battles since Avatar Aang and Fire Lord Ozai. After three days of constant fighting the Avatar fell, and he was killed, claiming Raizen as the winner.

In that instant a baby girl was born within the castle walls of the Fire Lord. The next Avatar had been born! And, ironically enough, in the home of the Fire Lord! Raizen knew that the next Avatar would be born in the Fire Nation but he didn't know who. So he had passed the law that all children under the age of 3 were forbidden to learn fire bending under pain of death. Not even his own daughter was exempted from this law. Sozin's comet is only 7 months away, and the Fire Lord is gather his best generals, and soldiers to conquer the Air Nomads, and Water Tribe in one fell swoop.

The Avatar only has 7 months to learn all 4 elements. Are you helping the Fire Lord, or are you against him? Make your choice.
Age: 16

Personality: Izaria is known to be very rebellious, stubborn, and someone who doesn't do things in the normal way, finding that to be boring and no fun at all. Izaria doesn't care too much for rules, but will follow them when she needs too. She always trying to look on the bright side of things, and look for the best in everyone. Izaria is strong willed, like most people from the fire nation, and gives her all into whateve she does. On the flip side, she's quite the energetic person always wearing a grin on her face, and trying to cheer up those who seem down. She is surprisingly observant, and very resourceful when it comes to makeshift items. One thing is for sure, and that is that she's no push over.

Bender?: Not at the moment

Nation?: Fire Nation

Weapon: None

Bio: Being born in the Fire Nation Palace insured her that she would have everything that she could ever want. As she grew up she was kept out of sight from everyone, as her father believed that only those of high class should be able to look upon royalty, and with the youngest person being 15 years older than her, she had no one to play with during the few hours she wasn't taking history lessons. Izaria eventually met the kid of one of the Grand Fire Sages named Sun Tian, and with her father's acceptance, he became her first and only best friend. It was Sun who rubbed off on Izaria and gave her, her rebellious streak, which did not sit well with her father. But with the plans for conquering the world, his daughter wasn't the first thing on his mind. It was mostly her mother who made her actually feel loved. There wer a few times when she and Sun would sneak out of the palace. It was on one of those days that she met another boy, but this one was obviously water tribe since he didn't have the hone golden eyes like all people in the Fire Nation do.

When she was younger she would see some of the adults practicing firebending, and at first it didn't bother her, but as she grew she wanted to know. So she went to go ask her father and he told her that "He couldn't allow the next Avatar to master all four elements.". When she asked why she couldn't learn, her father looked at her and didn't say a word. However, Izaria understood. He wasn't taking any chances and if by some chance that she was the next avatar he wouldn't hesitate to do what was necessary. Izaria saw it in his eyes. Not even she would win his grace if that was the case. With nothing else to say she quickly left seeking the comfort of her best friend.

It was during the celebration of her 16th birthday did her worst fears come true. The fire sages all lined up in front of her drawing confusion from the crowd. Izaria scanned the crowd and caught the eye of Sun for a brief second before he looked away. Something was wrong. Something was terribly wrong, and when the Sages knelt while saying,

"All hail the new Avatar! Avatar Izaria!"

Izaria's blood ran cold. She looked behind her catching the furious, and angry glare of her father. That was it....She knew then and there, that she was dead to her father. Her mother only looked saddened but didn't meet her eyes. Without a thought Izaria took off running the last thing she heard was her father yelling orders to capture and arrest her.

Name: Yun Wu (Siver)

Age: 17

Appearance: Yun Wu is unlike many other Airbenders in many ways. For one thing, she has a full head of hair. Oh sure, she has the typical Airbender tattoos of a blue arrows, but the most prominent one, the one on her head, is covered in dark brown locks that flow to the middle of her back and over her shoulders. Yun has a heart-shaped face, with delicate, well-made features that make her look like a porcelain doll when she is emotionless...which isn't a lot. Yun is tall and willowy, and wears a Furisode kimono dyed the colors of the Air Nation, due to the fact the long sleeves help increase her Airbending abilities. Due to the fact she is often on the run though, she has cut her kimono at her ankles to allow more movement. Also, when Yun wants to conceal her identity, she wears a plain rice hat (a conical Asian hat) over her face. When she doesn't care who sees her, she wears it on her back.

Personality: Yun Wu is an emotional woman, and she shows it. Most of the time, she is happy and carefree, willing to help out other people if they need it. However- when she is upset or angry, you can tell. The definition would be Yun is an open book. She rarely holds secrets. Yun also rarely plans ahead- she takes after her namesake, the cloud., in this way, just going with the flow. This has led to a good improvisation skills; If there is a unexpected problem that comes up, you can expect Yun to come up with the unconventional solution.

Bender: Yes. She is a Airbender who also knows Soundbending.

Nation: Air Nation

Weapon: None

Bio: Yun was one of the first children fully raised in a Air Temple. Yun spent the first years of her life in the Western Air Temple, where she showed skill as a Airbender, and by the young age of 15 she was already a Master of Airbending, along with it's sub-skill, Soundbending. Aching to get out into the world, wanting to leave the slow world of an Eastern Air Mage, Yun snuck off one day on a Sky Bison. During a eight-week period, she toured the world, visiting such places like Ba Sing Se and crash site of Ozai's Personal Airship. Finally sated of her desire for adventure, she returned to the Eastern Air Temple...to find it under invasion. She quickly joined in the resistance, and with her help the Eastern Air Sages stopped the Firebender's invasion. Yun knew at this point that the Fire Nation must be stopped, and that only the Avatar could stop them. And so, having heard of Quan's death, Yun jumped on her Air Bison once more, headed for the Fire Nation, to find the new Avatar...

Avatar's Teacher?: Yes. She is the Avatar's Airbending Teacher.

Thunder rumbled and lightning twisted across the grey Greek sky, dark clouds of the storm tearing the sky apart. Small drops of pure water fell into the Greek seaside, lightly dappling the sands and greenery with splotches of liquid. The sea seemed restless, roaring back and forth, pulsing up and down the usually pristine beaches, as though it was warring with the water than fell from the sky. The island of Ithaca, set out not too far in the Ionian Sea, was no more than a blotch of green and blue in the storm. But in this dark and stormy night on the Greek coast, one place was brightly lit. It was a school, or so it said. In reality, it bore more resemblance to a Greek temple, with columns and stucco-ed buildings thrust about like the past had suddenly decided to reappear in the present. It was known as the Elysian Preparatory School, and on this day thousands of students would be flocking to it for the school year to begin.

Nicodemus Cole, unfortunately, was one of them.

A crowd of new students had gathered in the main entry hall of the school, waiting for the principal to appear and help them get through the first day of the year. Nicodemus Cole wandered aimlessly through the crowd, noting various things. The Roman architechture continued into the entry room. Those columns were way too opulent for a stark school room. That girl's dress was way too short. Nico jumped from thought to thought, doing everything to avoid thinking about the life left behind in Athens. He would rather not think about such things. But like when someone tellls you not to think about elephants, the idea just keeps popping up. The accidents. The strange night he had abandoned Maia. The outbursts of power. The arrest by the Hellenic Police...the buzzed around his mind like flies, one he wished would go away but just coming back. But this school said it would make it better. They would 'help' him, they said, and despite Nico's pessimistic nature, he wanted to believe them. And so, he had come. He could tell, all ready, by the choice of decor, the buildings he had seen, that this was going to be a interesting year. He was-

"Welcome, students!" A voice interrupted Nico's musing, and Nico turned to find the source of the voice. He saw a man standing on a podium at the far end of the room. Nico gasped slightly as he saw the man.

That man was Titus Krano, as Nico recognized from the school website picture, which he had looked up when he got the letter. And he...was overpowering. An aura possessed around the man, filling the room with a overwhelming power. Nico heard muttering around him as other students felt the power too.

"Welcome to Elysian Preparatory School." The man said. "I am Titus Krano, your principal. I will be your guide, per se, through your time in the School, as we call it. You are all very special, and I must congratulate you for even making it into the School. I know you have had...strange...abilities pop up in one way or another throughout your life. Here, at Elysian Prep, we help you deal with them." A shark-like smile descended on Principal Krano's face. "Now, our counselors will guide you to your dorm rooms. Lessons will begin in the morning, and schedules will be given to you by your counselor. That is all." And then Titus turned away, disappearing as soon as he left the podium, the overpowering aura going with him. Muttering immediately descended on the crowd. The principal's speech had certainly been...attention-grabbing. And that talk about strange abilities...

This was definitely going to be an interesting year.

She was the one who made the black rounded hat for Kin, which he cares for deeply. His mother died while he was still young. This was a devastating blow to him. He was forced to spent the majority of his life with his abusive and uncaring father, who Kin had always sought to impress. As Kin became older, he would often join his father in collecting protection money from the local citizens of Guangshang.

One day, Kin and his father had dinner together for the first time and his father invited him to eat grilled duck and to drink wine. To Kin, it was one of the happiest days in his entire life. The next morning, Kin awoke to find that the entire house has been robbed of its things. He went outside and asked some of the people if they knew where his father was. One man told him that he was at the docks. Kin arrived at the docks to find his father preparing to leave with a woman and a little boy. When Kin asked what is happening, his father said that he is leaving with his new family and bragged about how his new son is way better than Kin, and that Kin is worthless. His father also said that Kin wasn't even his real son and his father is someone else though his deceased mother was in fact his biological mother. After they left, Kin cursed his stepfather and wished that the boat would sink.

Back in Guangshang, Kin attempted to forget about what had happened by drinking large amounts of wine and becoming drunk. Then, a rival gang arrived and ask Kin where his stepfather is at. Kin told them that he had left. It turns out that his stepfather owns the rival gang money and tells Kin that he must now pay the money his stepfather owes. Kin refuses and they start to beat up Kin. Kin, in his depression and hatred, threw oil all over himself and lit up a torch. He warned that he will kill himself and anybody who touches him. A member of the rival gang arrives to tell their rival gang's Boss that the boat carrying Kin's stepfather had burned down and the blame was placed on Kin. In his hatred, Kin admits that it was indeed him who burned the boat down and he is not afraid to kill himself along with the citizens here. After seeing his craziness, the rival gang backed off and decided to forget the debt.

Throughout the later years of his life up to the present, Kin formed his own gang and took over Guangshang with the support of the corrupted guards of the Fire Nation.
None, but she is incredibly skilled in hand to hand combat.
Akihana has been working as a teacher in the capital of the Fire Nation since she was seventeen years old, having spent the previous two years wandering around and doing odd jobs. She lived as any other young girl did, before her fifteenth birthday, helping her mother in the kitchen and learning what she needed to know to eventually wind up marrying a farmer somewhere in the small town she lived in. That all changed when her father, the simple sword smith Kiokama, died suddenly of an unknown illness and left her mother, Miyou, a widow. Shortly afterward, her twin brother named Akuanzaku revealed to her that he was going to join the military to help support her and her mother. When he left, she moved to the capital city to try and find a job to help earn enough money to try and keep the house in the family. It was an unfortunate turn of events that took her mother from her shortly after she had moved to the city. She returned home briefly to bury her mother and to sell the family home, leaving an address in the capital for her brother to send letters to if he sent any, but he only sent money back home, which she couldn't bring herself to spend. However, when it was discovered that she was quite adept in fire bending, a man approached her with the idea to start a small school in which they could teach others to use fire bending for self-defense. She jumped on board with the idea and, after only three years, had learned enough herself to be recognized as the most skillful teacher of fire bending in the school, which had grown substantially in size. For the past sixteen years she has been teaching there and anxiously awaiting the coming of the next Avatar, whom she knew was to be born within their own nation.

Blood Moon: Paths to Destiny]
The icy winds of the frozen north tore across the land outside of the cave in which a certain shaman of the Northern Lycans had chosen to live. The cave was located atop a several hundred foot cliff in the side of one of the many mountains of that region. Below the cave, one of the larger cities of the White Suns clan had temporarily shut down due to the blizzard which had struck the land, which was something that the denizen of the cave could be thankful for. The inside of the cave was covered in various runes which had been cut into the stone and then painted over with various pigments, each rune and color combination connected in some way to the primal forces of nature. Various containers, some made from the skulls of various animals, some from the hardened hides of said animals, and some from either stone or clay, covered the ground on the sides of the cave, filled with various mixtures of herbs and some with the more exotic herbs planted within them to allow the shaman to make use of them. At the very back of the cave, a large piece of flat stone sat upon the floor and reached up about four feet in height, and standing before that was the Shaman who lived within said cave. The Northern Lycan stood a full seven feet tall, about average for his kind, and was covered in thick black fur which was beginning to gray over his paws and chest. The fur on his tail and the substantial "mane" of fur upon his back were woven into several small tight braids at the end of which were tied either feathers or small bones, a few claws and teeth in the mix as well. Over his lower body he wore a sort of kilt made from the hide of a single brown bear and adorned with various symbols of nature which had been formed by the fur having been scraped off. Despite the obvious fact that he was a shaman, his muscles were about the average build of a warrior of his people and he had more than a few scars visible through his fur. His claws were also incredibly sharp, shining slightly in the light of a substantial fire built in a sunken area of the cave floor in about the center. He appeared to be making some sort of new mixture of herbs and was very much deep in thought as he did so.

Age: 16

Appearance: Sun is short and broad, and has dark brown skin befitting that of someone near fire all his life. His black hair is messy and spiky, sticking up often. It takes a great deal of water or gel to get it to lay flat. Sun's face is handsome and yet somehow irritating, what with his constant, lopsided grin and laughing blue eyes. Sun wears a Fire Nation outfit similar to the one Aang wore while living in the Fire Nation, but it is combined with a amulet inscribed with the symbol of the Fire Sages, which is affixed to a long necklace around Sun's neck. Sun treats this amulet with the utmost respect, and will not let anyone besides himself touch it.

Personality: Sun is a joke-cracking, arrogant young prick who finds fun in irritating his superiors. However, to the people he sees as his equals or inferiors he will treat as a friend, using the jokes he irritated the older people with to lift the spirits of his friends. He is very protective of his friends, and by extension, his pets. He will constantly stick up for his friends, and is always loyal. Sun also is very honor-bound, which is both a good thing and a bad thing. He never compromises his principles, but he also takes insults very seriously. VERY. SERIOUSLY.

Also, sometimes his pets also double as weapons. (Most notably, Sun's Raven Eagle, Fènnù.)

Bio: Sun Tian is the son of the current Grand Sage of the Fire Sages, which have been restored to power in this time and age. Nowadays, the Fire Lords function as the Fire Nation's military and governmental heads, while the Grand Sage now functions as the spiritual head of the Fire Nation. As such, Sun was treated as royalty, the spiritual prince as the Avatar was the militaristic prince. Sun generally spent his time inside the Fire Palace, calling the Fire Sages' Temple "old and boring". Sun quickly struck up a friendship with the daughter of the Fire Lord, who he doesn't know is the Avatar. Sun also showed an affinity for animals, such as his Raven Eagle, Fènnù, and his Eel Hound, Lǚyo. At age 13, Sun Tian begun training in the arts of the Yu Yuan Archers, thought he preferred using Kyoketsu-shoge instead of bow and arrow. In all of his years of being in ANBU, he has yet to face an opponent so powerful. "My teammates are at least able to still fight, but I...." Inotsu felt weak, to the point that his legs began to shook. White Mask continued to just stare down at the group from the sky. White Mask then formed a one-handed ram hand-sign. Suddenly, White Mask Clones appeared on the ground getting ready to kill the members of the Special ANBU Division known as Nichibotsu or Nightfall.

"EVERYBODY!!!! BE CAREFUL!!!! REMEMBER THAT THESE CLONES CANNOT BE DESTROYED JUST BY ONE ATTACK!!!!" Inotsu yelled out to everybody else. Shakingly, Inotsu took a kunai from his pouch and desperately threw it towards White Mask up above. However, it was meaningless to someone like White Mask. He simply caught the kunai and threw it back at an even faster speed. The kunai impaled Inotsu's shoulder, causing to fall to the floor in pain. "AHHHH!!!!" Inotsu yelled in agony.

The White Mask Clones faced their respective opponent. Their opponents were now extremely weak. Each White Mask Clone took out a kunai and charged towards their opponents will a horizontal slash. Their speed were unreal, it was almost as if they were teleporting during each step.
Name: Retsuri Akuanzaku (Surname first.)
Age: 36

Personality: Akuanzaku is, to put it lightly, driven and devoted to a fault. He obeys the commands of the fire lord without hesitance, unless doing so would put his soldiers unnecessarily in danger. A master of intrigue and strategy, he often finds ways to go around his enemies defenses without drawing too much attention to his actions. His belief that the fire nation is on the right track in the world is absolute, and he is unquestioning of the direction that his country is taking.
Bender: Yes, Fire and Lightning
Nation?: Fire Nation
Weapon:
He wields the twin Katanas he is shown with in the image that represents his Character.
Akuanzaku has been in the Fire nation's military since he was fifteen years old. Before that time, he grew up as the child of a simple sword smith named Kiokama and his wife Miyou. For the fifteen years of his early life, Akuanzaku did what all boys do, daydream about going off and winning glory for themselves in one way or another even as he played with his friends and learned the trade of a Blacksmith. What prompted his entrance into the military was the sudden death of his father from some unknown disease. Akuanzaku also had a twin sister, named Akihana, with whom he had shared almost every secret of his life. When he joined the military, she left the small town they had been living in to work in the city and send money home to their mother. Akuanzaku showed promise from the very beginning of his life as a solider, having been taught rudimentary skills in fire bending to aid his father in the forge. He rose quickly through the ranks and soon found himself as one of the Fire Nation's generals. He commanded the majority of the operations involving the taking of Earth Kingdom towns in the area surrounding the city of Omashu, and is currently in the process of returning to the capital city to give his report on the occurrences surrounding the city and discuss his strategy for infiltrating it.
Kyozaku calmly turned towards the man wearing the heavy-looking armor. He smiled slightly as the man introduced himself and he closed one hand in a fist before grasping it in the other in front of his chest. He then bowed his head slightly in greeting, as was the custom amongst the Japanese people. Once he had risen out of his bow, he nodded is head in answer to the other man's question.

"My name is Tokimune Kyozaku, and yes I fight with a blade...though not one in the same form as you are used to."

As if to demonstrate, he calmly pulled a small piece of hard wood from a small pouch concealed inside of the coat which he wore over his Kimmono before tossing said piece of wood into the air. Without even looking at it, Kyozaku brought the eight-foot Katana which he wielded cleanly through the center of the wood as he held it in only is right hand. He then brought his blade down in front of himself, mindful not to strike anyone, and caught the two pieces of wood on the back of the blade in such a way that they remained there. He now calmly removed the pieces of wood and placed them once more within the wooden pouch, once more resting the Katana over his shoulder, still at a high enough angle to avoid striking anyone unintentionally. No less than 4 lines
I have final say in anything and everything
I encourage you all to ask questions, because I may make mistakes. I'm only human.
If you read the rules bold the number post you are and put it somewhere in the app. So if you're the 500th person to post do this --> 500

Other Notes

1. For the time being I will be controlling the Fire Lord, and only when we get to the end (if it lasts that long) will I ask someone else to take control of the Fire Lord. It would be boring if I controlled the two people for the final fight. The person that I chose will have to have been active for the majority of the time, good post length/grammar, follow the rules, and positive attitude.

2. If we get to the end the Master Benders will fight a General and a Lieutenant at the same time. The other two can assist which ever master bender they chose.

3. All Generals are Master Fire Benders.

4. If you chose the "Open - Open" spot and chose to be a bender you are not a master. However that does not mean that you aren't good, it just means that you haven't reached your full potential. Same goes for Lieutenants. You are not Master Fire benders, but you are still good.

5. This only applies if you are a master bender. You can chose to have mastered a sub-element. If you want to then you have to add a sample post. Either from a previous RP, or you can make it up on the spot. It's your choice.

Earth Sub-element: Metal/Sand
Fire Sub-element: Lightening
Water Sub-element: Blood Bending (Under heavy supervision)
Air Sub-element: SoundBending (Thanks to TitanKing)

6. I think having a Warning thing isn't really necessary. We all know that we should follow the rules, and know what not to do and what to do. Just know that I will determine what happens depending on what you did.

I think that's it for now...Also I am open to any ideas that you may have to make this a better RP. I want to hear your opinions but please don't be discouraged if your idea is not put in motion. I want to make this as fun as possible. So yeah....I guess that's it...

1st Post

In the narrow ally way of two houses a long figure was hiding inside of it, desperately trying to slow down her beating heart and quite her breath. They were coming. The heavy trampling of feet was growing louder, and louder, and with each step the figure's heart rate was increasing against their will. Would they be found out? No one saw them slip into the small crack so maybe they would pass over her hiding spot and then they could leave the city. After what happened not 15 minutes ago, they needed to disappear. Preferably forever.

"We are looking for Izaria, the daughter of the Fire Lord! She is wanted on crimes of conspiracy, and betrayal to the Nation! Any who are found to have helped her will be punished under the pain of death!!"

Izaria's heart beat quickened, if that was even possible, and she felt her stomach rising to her throat. The only solace she had was that no one knew the sh-

"She's in there!" It was a males voice. Her eyes widened in fear, and with no choice she had to leave her hiding spot and try to run. However, she hardly took a step before her wrist was grabbed and hauled over one of the soldier's backs. "Put me down! Put me down now! I didn't do anything wrong!"

"Hush traitor! You were planning to kill the Fire Lord!" The town people gasped in surprised, while others only continued to watch in silence. "No! I swear I wasn't! It's not my fault! I didn't choose to be the Avatar!" At that word a mixed reaction came from the crowed. Some looked disgusted, while others had a small glimmer of hope that things may return to the way things were. Others had a look of was seemed like understanding. That they knew the real reason of what's going on.

Please let me go! You can't do this to me! You can't! I'm the princess and the only heir to the throne!" All the way to the palace, Izaria screamed, kicked, and punched at the man’s back doing whatever she could to get away. So preoccupied in her anger she didn't know they were in the throne room until-

"SILENCE!!"

Instantly Izaria quieted down, but more from fear than obedience. The soldier dropped her harshly to the ground and left leaving Izaria alone with the Fire Lord...Her father. His face was hidden behind the massive wall of fire that served as both a protection and a veil to eyes unworthy.

"D-dad....I-i'm sorry." She stuttered her apology. "I-i didn't w-w"

"I said SILENCE!!" The flames rose to intimidating heights in response to her father’s anger, before returning to normal. "So...You are the Avatar." His voice was calm, and falsely indifferent. "Somehow I knew this would happen. I knew from the day I first saw you....That you would be trouble." Izaria winced under the verbal attack. "I should kill you....Here and now." At that moment a stream of fire was shot at Izaria and circled around her, slowly getting closer to her.

"Daddy! Stop please! I won't become the avatar I promise!" The flames were getting closer. "I-i'll stay in the palace! And I-i'll...I'll help you! I won't betray you I swear!"

Just as the flames began to lap at her skin they vanished and the Fire Lord laughed in twisted amusement. "I won't kill you Izaria. No..." He chuckled, "If I do that then you will just be reborn in the next nation of the cycle. But trust, by the time we get finished with you....You'll wish you were dead." Izaria looked at her father pleading as much as she could, before dropping her head in defeat.

"You, Izaria Blaze, are here by disowned by the Royal family and put under arrest for crimes against the Fire Lord." She did nothing as the guards came back in and hauled her away, and locked her in the prison. That was it. She would spend the rest of her life in jail with nothing to look forward to but whatever torture her father could come up with. In that moment Izaria came to a decision. If by some miracle she was to get out...Then she would become the Avatar.

And defeat the Fire Lord!

As Fang was walking on the street with his Fire Nation disguise, he heard a lot of commotion coming from just a few meters behind him. He suddenly stopped to see what was happening, but it was too dark to see. He only heard troops marching. The steps stopped and the started to move towards him. He saw the troops and one of them was carrying a, seemingly lively teenage girl. She was struggling fiercely, but not strong enough to free herself, when the passed him he saw the girls face and thought "That's her...". He still didn't move as to not be suspicious. When they were a bit further away he started following them. They were heading towards the palace. He was hiding in the shadows, but still followed them. When they got to the palace entrance he knew he couldn't get in with just a civil disguise, he walked up to one of the patrolling, that was alone and said "Excuse me..." and punched him. The guard fell to the ground, Fang took the water in his pouch and put it around the guard's whole head, thus suffocating him and the water muted his screams. Fang quickly put on the guard's uniform and went inside the palace. He stood by the throne room door, listening to what was happening. He heard the whole thing, and when guards went in to take away Izaria he went out of the palace. He watched as they carried her as a prisoner into custody (the word's a bit ahead of it's time, but "prison" didn't work for me) The same night he didn't sleep, trying to think of a plan to free the new Avatar.

Hanza watched silently as Izaria was dragged away to jail by the guards. "(So she is indeed the Avatar.... Then she is the enemy of the Fire Nation.... I feel no pity for her....)" Hanza thought to himself as he quietly stood there. Hanza arrived at the prison where Izaria was kept. He moved to Izaria's cell and looked at her with calm yet fierce eyes. "To think you would be the Avatar.... Hopefully you're not planning on taking revenge if you get out of here, but, I doubt that anyone's going to help you...." Hanza said to Izaria then walked off.

Hanza had commanded the guard to tighten up security in case if her Avatar State activated. He knew the possibility of it happening are low, but he couldn't risk anything. Hanza arrived at his station and sat down on his chair. There were several things he needed to do and it would take him all night. This gave him a chance to stand guard as well just in case anything would happen.

-Meanwhile-

In the town of Guangshang, Kin was in his house sleeping soundly on his couch. While he was asleep, Kin was holding onto a pillow in a manner that seem like how a child would hold onto a stuff animal. Suddenly, Pao Lung or "Panther Pao", Kin's right-hand man, barged into the room wildly. Pather Pao was a rather weak person, and had to use his full body weight to smash through the door. "Brother Kin! Brother Kin!" Pao yelled as he shook Kin's arm.

Kin awoke tiredly and gave a loud yawn. "W-What, what happened? Is something on fire? Something was stolen? What happened?" Kin asked tiredly. Pao was trying to talk while regaining his breath. When he finally regain his breath, Kin had already sat up on the couch. "I-I heard that the Fire Nation has captured the Avatar, and the Avatar is the daughter of the Fire Lord." Pao explained.

"Oh I see. Hey Pao, come in closer." Kin said as he motioned his hand for Pao to come in closer to Kin. Kin then slapped Pao in the face and he fell to the floor. Kin then stood up and began to scold at Pao. "You woke me up in the middle of my sleep to tell me that the snot-nose daughter of the Fire Lord is the Avatar and has been captured? You must be tired of being my right-hand man huh?" Kin scolded.

"S-Sorry Brother Kin. I thought you should know just in case if you decide to leave Guangshang." Pao responded as he stood up. "Why in the world do I want to leave Guangshang when I'm like the king here?" Kin asked. "You know, what if the Fire Nation destroys this town?" Pao asked. "You idiot they've already took control of this place and we're not dead yet are we?" Kin asked.

"Ohhh right!" Pao said with a sign of relief in his voice. Kin then wrapped his left arm around Pao's shoulders. "Look Pao, I've already earn the trust of the Fire Nation guards here so we're set for life. Get some sleep alright, and tommorow I'll bring you to collect money, and then we could go to the brothel, and you know...." Kin said. The last part had a sense of devious intentions in it.

"I know?" Pao asked in a clueless tone. "You know." Kin repeated with a devious smile while pointing to Pao. Pao's face then lit up as he knew what it meant. "Ooooo" Both of them said deviously at the same time. "Alright good night Brother Kin." Pao said as he left. "{Sigh} Finally...." Kin said before falling onto the couch and falling asleep again.

A massive ship, every piece of which having been forged of the darkest black metals in existence, had just come into the harbor of the Fire Nation's capital city; it was many times larger than the average vessel constructed for the Fire Nation's military, signifying it as the flagship of one of the Generals. Ass soon as the vessel had been tied off to the dock, a gangplank was lowered and the soldiers stationed on deck quickly ran down it, forming two lines along either side or the gangplank. Soon, a figure that stood just under six feet in height began to make his way down towards the dock, the soldiers standing at full attention as he began to move through their ranks. This was the thirty-six year old general known as Akuanzaku, or General Retsuri to his soldiers. He calmly made his way through the ranks of his soldiers, who soon went immediately throughout the docks to re-stock the vessel for the return trip. Rather than try and keep citizens back from him, he made his way through the streets of the city on foot, returning greetings when they were given to him and ignoring the occasional muttered insult, feeling more than sound in the knowledge that those who insulted him simply did not understand the need for the fire nation to take control. It was not long before he made his way to the Palace of the Fire Lord, and a message was sent that he had arrived to deliver his report on the situation in the Earth Kingdom. He calmly made his way through the Palace, coming quickly to the doors of the Throne Room and awaiting his chance to be allowed in and speak to his lord, eager to deliver the news of their success and the plans in the works for taking a certain city that would prove to be a valuable asset.

Meanwhile...

Within a simple building in the bustling center of the Capital City, a young woman appearing to be about thirty-six years of age, was sitting alone in a room that appeared similar to a dojo normally found in a martial art's school. She was sitting in the exact center of the room, her legs crossed in a lotus position as she meditated to maintain absolute control of her emotions. The building in which she was meditating was a school in which fire bending was taught, but as of late there had been no students coming in due to royal decree. The woman sighed as she heard a commotion outside, moving to a window and looking out into the street to see the princess herself being dragged off by some guard towards the palace. She inhaled quickly in shock, rushing to the nearest door from the room and making her way out into a hallway which lead to the entryway of the building; however, she stopped just before the door out onto the street as she remembered hearing about the princess having been the Avatar. She turned around and calmly made her way back to the room in which she had been and continued her meditation, more than willing to do anything to aid the new Avatar but unsure of how she could do it. She shook her head to clear her mind of those thoughts.

(OOC: I'm assigned to be "under" General Hanza, so like... yeah. o_o)

News of the Avatar revealing herself had spread like wildfire. Messenger hawks lit up the sky, sending word of the last bastion of hope. Caught like a cornered rat deep in the Fire Nation, the Fire Lord's own daughter now held captive.

Perfect.

Perfect in Kihomi's eyes at least. The Avatar, and the laws she inspired to ban the practice of Fire Bending through out the land had lead to the girl's most unfortunate upbringing. And there stood Kihomi, right before the prison door.

She took in a deep breathe, walking in. A blank expression decorated her face. An absent minded autonomous gesture, a salute, was presented to her commanding officer, but not much else in terms of friendly or inviting greeting. It seemed she would accompany General Hanza for this guard duty.

After a moment, her eyes flickered, catching a glipse of the princess, the Avatar, still in her regal attire.

Either the young soldier didn't know of the Avatar Cycle, or she did and just plain didn't care. Cold red marbles looked up at the general. "When do we kill her?"

"Kill her? Why does it matter? The Fire Lord has other plans for her. It's been stated by the Fire Lord that killing the current Avatar will only cause another one to be born later in a different nation. I believe the next nation the Avatar will be born under is the Earth Nation. Currently the Earth Nation is our biggest enemy...." Hanza explained as he kept his attention focused on some documents. "Killing her shouldn't be your priority at the moment.... Just stay focus on your duties...." Hanza said.

Her general's last few words felt like a cold slap across the face. Like he had suddenly pulled the rug out from underneath her feet, if she were standing on a rug that is. However, she did her best not to show it. A quick flinch, followed by a wince, and then back to her typical cold, uncaring face.

"Understood." A quick salute, and that was all that needed to be said.

What a shame too. After all the trouble she went to, trading her palace entrance gaurding job for a chance to take a swing at the Avatar. She lowered her salute and once again stood, completely straight, cold red eyes staring intently at the Avatar, hands on her blade ready to strike should she see the smallest sign of bending.

Hanza stood up from his desk and walked towards the door. Before walking out, Hanza stopped for a moment. "Stay here." Hanza told Kihomi coldly before walking out. As he walked along the corridor, a guard arrived and saluted Hanza as he passed. Even with his cold front, Hanza understood military mannerisms and saluted the guard as well. After Hanza had left, the guard walked towards Kihomi. "Huh, I've never seen you around here before soldier, who are you?" the guard asked curiously.

The Fire Lord watched shamelessly as his only daughter was hauled away by the guards, and almost seconds later a messenger came in informing him ofthe arrival of General Retsui. "I see he has returned. A head of schedual as well." Raizen mused in a all around good mood. From the easy capture of the avatar, and the arival of one of his best general, it all ment that things were preceeding as planned as General Retsui never returned until the job assigned has been completed. It was time for their next move to be discussed. A war meeting will have to be held soon. Fire Lord Raizen called for a messenger to send the message to all generals here on the island, and who were off on patrol.

Moments later General Retsui was asking permission to enter the throne room, "Enter!" From the noticably low flames, and his calm voice one could tell that he was in one of his better moods. "You may speak General Retsui, and make it quick. I have another assignment for you."

Back in the cells, Izaria had pushe herself into the furthest corner away from the two guards. She should've known her father would've placed a General as her guard. She didn't know his name but she saw him going in and out of the throne room from time to time. She sighed turning her head from them to look at the way. That female guard was wasting her time with the thretening posture. Even if I could find some way out of this cell....I have no bending experiece at all. I couldn't even make a spark at this point Izaria thought miserably.

"Hey!" She called out, "Can I at least have something to eat? Or water? Even prisioners are allowed that right?" Her last question came out a little more sarcastic than she had ment, but she couldn't help it. She was angry, aggervaited, and most of all hoplessly helpless. No only that but she knew that her father was going to do something big soon, and she knew that this would probably be the only chance she'd have to escape. When there is a crowd, hopefully one large enough for her to get lost in. Once out of her thoughts she saw that te general had left and a lower guard had taken his place. Unfortunately the change of people did nothing to satisfy her growling stomach."So are you two hotheads gonna feed me or what?"

Our dark haired fire bender continued, unflinching at the new guard's questioning. A quick salute from her before she spoke, surprisingly loudly for a girl who was as quiet as she had been so far. Head looking straight ahead, not taking her eyes off the target she was gaurding.

"Sir! I am Kihomi Tien of the 8th division! Sir!" she returned her sword to her right hand as she reclaimed her 'attention' position as opposed to 'present arms'.

"Ryoko Tsun and I traded assignments! Sir!"

She stayed quiet as the Avatar complained. Despite not taking her eyes off the Fire Lord's daughter.

"It wants food." she stated flatly, the volume of her voice reduced to her normal tone of speaking, when ever she did speak. Her last orders were to guard the girl, most likely doing her best to avoid triggering the Avatar State. "What now?"

((Pika, you ninja'd me XD))

The guard placed his hand on his chin and rubbed it a few times. "Kihomi eh....? I see.... Well it's good to see that you're focus on your duty." the guard responded with smile. After hearing Izaria's complaint, the guard pointed his spear towards the cell. "Hotheads?! Listen up you little brat, don't make me go in there and knock you in the head a couple of times got it?!" the guard yelled in a fierce tone. His face showed signs of serious annoyance, but as he turned back to Kihomi, his annoyed face turned back into a calm and happy one. "Listen, we don't need to care about what in wants. It's going to die anyways so just leave it there." the guard responded. They were talking about Izaria as if she was an animal, but that's how enemies of the Fire Nation are treated.

Izaria flushed in anger, but didn't say anything knowing that without the threat of being the 'Princess and telling daddy', he just might follow up on his threat. So instead she stuck out her tongue and huffed. "Fine, but if I die from starvation I hope you're the first person the next avatar kills." She muttered, and sighing seconds later all of her anger leaving her. She just didn't understand how this was her fault. It's not like she asked to be the avatar or anything. Sun where the heck are you...I thought you would've been here by now... She was hurt that her best friend hadn't tried to sneak in here yet to speak to her. 1 agonizing hour later, or at least thats how it felt to Izaria but only 10 seconds passed, she couldn't take it anymore. She was too hungry! "Seriously. Can I get some food here.....?"

"Haven't I already given you an answer, NO!" the guard bellowed angrily as he wacked at the cell bars with his spear. The guard once again turned back to Kihomi with a smile. He was kind of checking Kihomi out, but he did it in a secretive way so Kihomi wouldn't noticed. Footsteps could be traveling towards the room. It was Hanza who had just came back from a quick swept of the prison.

"What's going on here? I heard yelling...." Hanza asked in a monotonous tone. "General Hanza, this thing keeps complaining that it's hungry." the guard responded. "Well? Then get it some food...." Hanza answered coldly before sitting back down on his chair. "Y-Yes Sir!" the guard said before turning to Izaria. "You're lucky that the General told me to bring you some food." the guard whispered to her and then walked off.

"I hope there wasn't any problems while I was gone, correct....?" Hanza asked Kihomi without looking up.

Kihomi continued staring at the Avatar. However, it was a cold, distant stare, not so much looking 'at' as much as she was looking 'past'. If the Fire Lord's daughter moved, her eyes didn't flinch, still completely dead set ahead of her.

She seemed distant from the remainder of what happened. She gave an absent minded salute when her superior officer entered. "Nothing to report." She stated simply.

Perhaps a moment or two of awkwardness before she spoke again, this time perhaps directed at the Avatar.

"When the 8th division marched off to quell a rebellion in Guangshang we brought with us enough provisions to last for 2 days. The Earthbending gangs of that region had other plans. They destroyed much of our food supply and we had to hold on until reinforcements arrived 10 days later."

She adjusted her posture, which had been slouching since she had begun talking. She returned to her perfect military position to deliver the conclusion of her story. "We lasted 10 days surviving on handfuls of fire flakes while fighting Earthbenders on all four sides. You ate dinner 3 hours ago and have nothing to do but lay about. I share no sympathies with you."

She continued looking straight ahead, gripping onto her sword.

Jia Li was on her flying bison named Uppi (couldn't think of anything original :D) She was just staring into the horizon, thinking about how she will meet the new avatar and maybe fulfill her destiny, whatever it was. She believed that her meeting with the past avatar meant that her destiny is intertwined with that of his new incarnation, she was also looking forward to meeting an old friend who sent her a message, to come meet him in the Fire Nation. She knew that it wasn't a simple social call, he needed her help, and she was always ready to lend a hand to a friend. After a few minutes she was there, she was watching the vista and said "Here we are Uppi, this is the Fire Nation. Go down near that river." Uppi roared in approval. Uppi descended and landed near the river. Fang was there waiting for them. He said "Hey, long time no see!" Jia looked at him with a biiig smile and yelled happily "Fingyyy!!" she ran to him and hugged him. Fang laughed and said "Ok, that's enough." Jia squeezed him even harder "Ok, ok, I can't breath!"

Hanza sat there quietly while reading some documents. He heard what Kihomi said to Izaria, and decided not to say anything against it. He knew she was correct in saying so, but the Fire Lord has other intentions for Izaria, and so he decided at least she should get her meal before the Fire Lord's punishments. It's not as if Hanza felt pity for the Avatar, but simply viewed it as his duty to do so. The guard from before returned with a plate of food, prison food. It was the type of food that they gave to lowly animals rather than human beings. The standards of living in prison has dramatically decreased since Fire Lord Raizen came to rule.

The guard opened the cell and slid the food towards Izaria. After closing the cell gate, the guard returned to his position instead of attempting to talk to Kihomi. He knew well that Hanza isn't the type to allow guards on duty to talk to each other without his permission.

"So she is the traitor!" A loud and boisterous voice cried out, and several of the prisoners jumped. They were not used to hearing loud noises, save that of the jail guard's angry tones. This voice however, was loud and obnoxious, nothing like the cruel, venomous words that echoed from the guards mouths when they "dealt" with unruly prisoners. The door flew open and a boy of 16 or so stepped forward, walking into the prison as if he owned it. His face, pale yet quite handsome, was drawn into an expression of such smugness and arrogance that several of the people in the room, guards and prisoners alike, wanted to slap him. Indeed, several guards did step forward to stop him, but the boy, his face now adopting a mask of semi-outrage, held them back with an hand.

"Do you not know who I am?" He exclaimed, holding up the amulet that hung around his neck. "I am Sun Tian, son of Grand Fire Mage, Long Wei Tian. I come visiting the former daughter of the Fire Lord. Step away, peasant!" He roughly shoved one of the guards out of his way, and, imperiously ignoring all the figures who were watching him distastefully, Sun stepped up to the bars of Izaria's cell. Leaning down to sit on his haunches, Sun turned to look at his best friend.

"Hello, Iz." Sun's voice had changed dramatically, becoming noticeably softer and nicer. In fact, there is doubt that if any of the guards had heard Sun speak- which was unlikely, due to how quiet his voice was- they would have never connected it with the swaggering, insolent figure who was made quite the entrance a few seconds before. "So you're the Avatar, eh? I never knew. Well, I just came to give you hope- that your father will spare your life that is."

For a second, it had seemed like Sun was about to say something else instead of the "father" line, but at that moment Sun turned away. Smiling smugly once more, he got up and started to walk away. Most eyes were affixed on him, so nearly nobody noticed the scrap of paper Sun had dropped into Izaria's cell. Smiling obnoxiously as he left, Sun began to walk towards the door of the prison- making sure, of course, to be just as showy in his exit as he did his entrance, so no eyes rested on the paper, now quietly settled on the grimy floor several feet from Izaria. The note was for Izaria's eyes and Izaria's only, for if anyone cared enough to read it they would have read some quite shocking words;

We're going to get you out.

Sun smiled once more, now safely outside the prison. He began to pick up pace, striding between the Fire Nation houses quickly. He needed to find several people, who would be instrumental in helping him jailbreak Izaria...several people he had heard would be sympathetic to his cause...specifically, a man named Fang and a woman named Akihana...

Akuanzaku bowed deeply as he entered the throne room, showing the proper respect to his lord before rising out of the bow after a few moments. He took a deep breath, as if calming himself, before he chose to speak.

"The vast majority of the Earth Kingdom territory surrounding the city of Omashu has been taken, with casualties of less than two percent in every division under my command. The only threat worth mentioning in the area is, as you have likely already guessed, the city of Omashu itself. My soldiers are already in the process of moving into position to enact the plan for the siege of the city. I now eagerly await the new assignment which you have chosen me for, my lord."

The general had managed to finish speaking without moving a single muscle more than his face in order to remain at perfect attention. His body was perfectly still, yet at the same time he seemed very relaxed, the way any veteran soldier can whilst standing at attention. He had spoken truthfully, and was in fact very eager to do the Fire Lord's will without question. For a brief moment, he thought of his sister and wondered if he would be able to see her before eventually returning to his duties in the Earth Kingdom, but he managed to bring his thoughts back to the current situation, the only visual cue being that his eyes shifted slightly to the left for a brief moment and almost imperceptibly.

"Good, good. I expected nothing less from you General Retsui." It was not very often that the Fire Lord gave out compliments, so the good mood was very obvious to everyone. "I will provide more soldiers to be deployed to the front lines. King Batso will not be easily defeated, but that is something we will further discuss in the war meeting. As of now a more pressing matter has arose." The Fire Lord maintained a leveled voice and relaxed composure while speaking to the General. "Maybe you haven't heard, but the Avatar has been found. Or rather she has been found. It is my daughter, Izaria." He paused allowing the information to sink in. That and he was curious as to how he would react. After a while he continued, "Word is beginning to travel that the Avatar has returned, and that means the return of hope."

"Hope is something that I cannot afford to let fester. Fire Lord Ozai was the aftermath of people's hopes. They banded together and wiped him out." The bitterness in his voice was evident. Whether it was from Ozai's defeat, or that fact that hopewas the winning factor, was unclear. In the end it didn't matter, for that outcome will not repeat itself! No, no indeed. Steps will have to be taken.

"I want them to see their precious Avatar humiliated, and degraded right in front of their very eyes. I don't care what you do, or how but I want Izaria's spirit broken and crushed. They will see that not even the Avatar will defeat me! No one will stand in my way to victory!" Raizen smirked in a twisted and amused sort of way. It made him look crazy, almost deranged and demonic, and the flames surrounding him rose, dancing wildly in reaction to the source. It was almost a blessing to not be able to see the look on the Fire Lords face at the moment.

"General Retsui! Tomorrow at high noon you will hold a public demonstration of what would happen if one was to betray me-" He chuckled, "Using the Avatar as the example. I know you will follow my orders to the letter. This is why I asked you and no one else. Crush any fleeting hopes that the people may have."

Back with Izaria, she was ecstatic that Sun had came to see her, but with those three guards close by there was hardly anything that she, or he, could say to each other. But even so the happiness on her face was more than enough. Izaria saw him drop the piece of paper and swiftly grabbed it before the guards could have. After reading it a small flicker of hope ignited before being put out. There was no way that it could be done...No matter who tried.

With a sigh she tossed the paper and begrudgingly began picking at the food she was given. f you could even call it that. It looked like left over from the War Rhino’s meal, and that was putting it mildly.

Hanza placed the document he was reading back down onto the table. He was in deep thought. "(Tommorow I am in charge of escorting the Avatar, no, the prisoner to General Retsui for her punishment.... Knowing the Fire Lord, the prisoner's punishment will not be swift.... I am also in charge of guarding the area surrounding the prisoner just in case anything happens, I'll have to be on my guard.... News travels fast....)" Hanza thought to himself with his face showing an unfocused expression unlike his usual self. Even so, Hanza was able to quickly regain his composture and get back to his duties at hand. Tommorow will be the darkest day of the Avatar.

The lack of flinching, lack of moving, lack of speaking, lack of blinking most likely convinced the Fire Master's son that Kihomi was no threat, or at the least one that didn't need tending to.

Staring blankly ahead, her bright red eyes could have sworn she saw a white flicker of something out of her peripheral vision. It was like a flash, and gone before Kihomi could even fully register seeing it. It might have been a trick of the eye, inspired by staying up for 16 hours at a time, but nevertheless she felt it needed more looking into.

After the Fire Master's son departed, and while the Avatar was busy sorting through her meal to find something edible, for the first time in a long time she changed her position. She raised her right toe and left heel slightly, pivoting 90 degrees to the right on the ball of her left foot and heel of her right. Legs straight, upper portion of her body remaining at attention. She was now facing the general. She took one step forward, presented a salute, and began speaking.

Speaking in her normal tone of voice, more of a quiet whisper the an actual voice. "I think I just saw it try to Fire bend. I'm almost certain I saw a flicker of a white flame."

After hearing what Kihomi had to say, Hanza shifted his eyes towards her a bit. Hanza has raher cold eyes that pierced into a person's mind and weakened them from the inside. "Is that so....?" Hanza plainly asked in his monotonous tone. Hanza then shifted his eyes back and stood up from his chair. Hanza looked back at Kihomi and then gazed slightly at Izaria, making sure that she didn't notice he was looking at her. "A flicker of a white flame you say....?" Hanza asked, making sure to lower the volume of his voice to the point that Izaria wouldn't be able to hear it.

"Well.... If that is in fact true, then make sure to keep your attention on the prisoner.... I doubt that it has the capabilities to Fire Bend with ease, but now.... Now I have suspicion on the person who had just visit it.... If he has spoken anything to it, it would have probably rekindle some hope in the prisoner.... Tommorow we will have to be weary of our surroundings.... But now the prisoner has just given us more reason to strengthen our unit...." Hanza explained quietly as he sat back down onto his chair.

"The prisoner may have just led her only hope into a trap.... Make sure to keep quiet about what you just say...." Hanza explained.

Akuanzaku did not even flinch as he heard the news that the Fire Lord's daughter was the next avatar, and a wide smile came to his face as he heard that HE had been chosen to be the instrument of his lord's will. For just an instant, a small flame no larger than that of a candle danced across the back of his right hand, before extinguishing itself. He bowed deeply to Raizen, his long silver hair a curtain about his head, hiding the expression, the glint in his eyes and the slight curl of his lips, that gave away the fact that he was planning something.

"Of course, my Lord, I am all too happy to be an instrument of your will," he said as he rose from the bow, before turning sharply towards the exit of the throne room and making his way into the hall beyond it, a salute being given him from the guards flanking the entrance was not returned. He was too deep in thought, too focused on how to best disgrace the Avatar and crush the hope that she represented amongst the people ready to follow her against the Fire Lord. As such, he was almost surprised when he found himself standing in the entryway to the detention block, but he did not bother himself with so much as visibly displaying his surprise. He simply turned to the younger general within the room and offered him a salute before moving forward to stand before his desk, once more assuming his stiff yet relaxed "attention" stance.

"General Hanza, I have to say that I am glad someone I know I can trust has been placed in charge of guarding the prisoner," he said, his voice cool, not hinting the slightest bit at any emotion he could have been feeling as it reverberated ever so slightly throughout the corridors of the detention block, "I trust it is not giving you any trouble."

"You know-" Izaria spoke up, finally done with playing with the plate of garbage she was given, but didn't look at the others, "I'm getting really tired of being to reffered to as an 'it'. I have a name you know." With a quickly glance to her right she saw that another general had entered the room and this one she knew very well. There had been occasions where she had ran into him in the throne room. They had never spoken but Izaria had always recieved a creepy feeling from him, so she tried to keep her distance.

It's getting late....The sun is probably down now....And I'm getting a bit sleepy.. Izaria thought stiffling a yawn.

Hanza completely ignored what Izaria was saying, though he did glanced at her with cold eyes. Hanza noticed Akuanzaku entering the room, and stood up to give a slatue to the older general. Even though they were of equal position, Hanza treated Akuanzaku as a superior due to his age and experience. "Thank you General Akuanzaku.... It is an honor to serve for the Fire Lord.... And you can be at ease to know that tommorow's plans will go smoothly.... You have my word...." Hanza said in his monotonous tone of voice. "Trouble....? Why no.... Though it is a bit loud.... It has a tendency of complaining quite often...." Hanza responded.
