Hello and welcome to... The Apprentice Contest. Now even you Americans know about the Apprentice, because it is everywhere. So this is a contest based on The Apprentice :D

[spoiler=Inside Info on the Apprentice] There are 12 contestants, and they must each perform a task on 2 seperate team. In the losing team the PM will ahve to choose people to bring into the boardroom. One of you will be Fired... But because this is based on teamwork, you will do all this, but say who failed it for your teams etc.

 

[spoiler=Judging] I will be the only judge, but I will have 1 trusted advisor to rely on. I can turn you down as an advisor, however. You must be Level 4 or higher to be an advisor

 

[spoiler=Entry Fee] I shall put this fee at! 30 points, donations are welcome, I will add 200 to the pot to start off with

[spoiler= How it will work] You each in your team will have a requirement. I will choose the leader of each task. If you lose, you must take to members into the Boardroom. Then by PM you must each submit a plea on why you should stay. I will Fire one of you

[spoiler= Task 1] Newbie's and collectors make Konami big money as they buy lots of cards... so. In each team you will work together to create a card which is newbie friendly, but will also be used by ore experienced players. I am being vague so that I can see some creativity.[spoiler= CEO Plans Card]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play monster cards in your Graveyard whose total Levels are equal to this cards Level. Once per turn, Tribute 1 face-up monster on your side of the field, to Special Summon 1 monster from either players Graveyard whose level is equal to the Tributed monster.

 

My thoughts: A Good opener, however I think people newbie's may find the removing from play element in the card a little difficult. Yet a decent effect nonetheless which will help new players and old players alike.

 

 

[spoiler= Final Heroes Card]

This card can only be activated while you control a face-up DARK monster. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all monsters your opponent Summons after this card's activation cannot change their Battle Position. If you control no DARK monsters, destroy this card.

 

My thoughts: An overpowering card nonetheless but what about cards that flip themselves? How would this card deal with that? I do realsie the powers of having it in a blackwing deck and you did give me a reason for it being easy to understand and having no complicated synchro's. A strong card, and you have targeted your audience well.

 

 

[spoiler= Winner] On Balance, Card A has a better effect... but I wasn't looking for good effects. I was looking for effects that would help new players and old players, so Final Heroes Wins. Matt Name the 2 people coming into the boardroom with you (I Will then set a PM up with you in which you will put forward a plea and slate evrybody else. Then I choose who will be Fired).

 

 

[spoiler= Deadline] The Deadline is the 21st and in the losing team, 1 of you will get fired

 

[spoiler= PM's] The project manager will be chosen by me this task.

You guys are responsiblle for running your team, and assigning jobs for people

 

 

 

[spoiler= Task 2] Alot of big business' are run over the internet. Some people try to take these down with viruses. Your task is to create a new "Virus" card eg. Crush Card, Deck Devastation. The winner will be the one who causes the most devastation yet with draw backs

 

[spoiler= The CEO plan]

 

My thoughts: Very interesting. It would bring down many many decks that focus on synchro summoning but, is there a need to check all monsters your opponent controls as you are only targeting the extra deck. That was a flaw, but I did like it overall.

 

 

[spoiler= Final heroes]

 

My thoughts: I dont really like this but it's a good concept. Viruses are generally Trap cards and Quick-Play Spell cards should be a no-no. Eg. Opponents got key monster out, you spring this, monster is destroyed and say if it was a certain type deck, alot of monsters could be destroyed. Up to 6 in fact. Also the fact that the cost is only 1 card, is a fatal flaw and combined with Fabled World can even benefit the user

 

 

[spoiler= Winner] The winner is The CEO plan. Newfie as acting PM you will choose 2 people to bring back into the boardroom. Also if you were to be fired ninjarainbowcloud6 is fired instead. Newfie I also want you to tell me about ninjarainbowclouds6 performance even though absent

 

 

[spoiler= Deadline] 3rd of January

[spoiler= Task 3] To get to the top, you have to sacrifice things so.. Your task is to create a card which tributes something, to give the controller a temprary diadvantage but an overall advantage in the duel. It sounds complicated so I'm promoting creativity.
