Jake the Sage
*coughyeahrightcough* ¥20,000 would roughly come out to be $200.00 give or take a couple dollars/cents

Fusion X. Denver
So 100 yen is $1.20 or so. 1000 yen is $12. Huh... Is Japanese currency JUST yen, or is there more? Like how we have dollars and cents.
DL
I think there was also ryo at one point, not sure. Also, most people round it to $1 = .01 yen

DL
Well that answers that. So in Japan things would seem really expesive, but since the value of Yen compared to money is quite low, it's not THAT expensive. A candy bar would cost around 100 yen, if it costs around a dollar here. If I saw it cost 100 yen I'd be like "O>>>O" if I didn't know the exchange rate. Fusion X. Denver
Huh.. Well alright then >.> Lessee, if that's the case, then I make approximately 9018 yen a night at my job. Cool.

Jake the Sage
I've always learned that for any Yen ammount just move the decimal point up two places and that is roughly how much it'd be in American Dollars
DL
And that is right, if you want an easy way to calculate it :3 Also, dayum, expesive-sounding toilet paper...
