TBH, nothing is truly original anymore, but copying powers exactly as they are in a show is just plain unoriginal.

What's original is using bad jokes as an energy form of attack through channeling.

Altho probably not even THAT.

Water powers are not original, per se.

BUT

If you make them your own, like, use the water in creative ways, or having your OWN moveset for the water, then it cna be considered original, even if it's not original by definition.

Also, I'm going to start watching Hanamaru Kindergarten after Gurren Lagann.

It's the first chibi anime I've heard of, and apparently it's NOT creepy lolicon bait, so we'll see how good it is :3

Lolno xD

Well apparently the MAIN plot is that this guy (I'ma call him Keitaro, because he looks like Keitaro, and I forgot his name) is working at this kindergarten and his main purpose every day is to try and score a date with his hot co-worker.

But aside from that, I'm sure the kindergarteners themselves get into all sorts of mischief.

...okay, maybe it is like Rugrats...

I doubt it's like Rugrats in any sense beyond "babies getting into all sorts of mischievous adventures" xD

Also, there's a manga or anime for EVERYTHING

Except tic-tac-toe, they haven't found a way to make THAT awesome yet >.>;;

They will. If they're 20 years ahead of us, then they'll figure something out.
