An all region game is an awful idea. I don't remember the exact thread I saw on it, but here's the gist:
A. It's basically an end all. After that, they can't top it.
B. The leveling scale would be such s*** unless you were fighting level 100s by the third region, and at that point, the game loses all point.

On top of that, it being on the Wii of all things is unrealistic as hell.

If they're going to do an all-region game, I'd say do it for whatever Pokemon MMORPG that may eventually grace the internet. They'd have to do something different with the leveling system, otherwise I could see that working well.

And lucky, I never knew how to get Celebi in Gold and Silver.
...still don't actually.

I've only trained two Pokemon to 100 without Rare Candies: Kyogre and Blaziken.
Fighting the Elite 4 in Sapphire over 100 times will help with that.

So basically, do something insanely retarded and game breaking or do something that they could just split into a series of games to make money off of?

Also, if the fact that it's a bad marketing idea wasn't enough, it also totally fucks up EV training AND how would you determine what resets and what you could access?

There are a lot of things stupid of just plain bad about making an all region Pokemon game.

It's a cool idea however. If done right, it could be amazing.

The level cap would have to be like 200 though

You are very close-minded Black xDD

Since it COULD work very well, it's just, a small possibility. =P

And who needs EV training in-game that much?

I mean, needs

Not 'wants, to battle competitively'.

Or just remove the Level 100 Cap, and make the levels unlimited. That could solve that problem.
Or, alternately, do the Pikachu-level system, where every time you enter a new region, your Pokemon's level resets.

Reiji I can't even begin to state why I think taping the caps off of the Pokemon levels wouldn't work. However I believe if you tweak it enough and play with the leveling system you could make it so that it could work. Hell! You probably won't even need to have the Gym leaders in consecutive level like we've always seen and have them random- to add a bit more "flare" in making you travel and get the ranks.

I know this would make some Gym leaders harder to beat and others easier but I believe that is more realistic in the first place.

Beating the Gym leaders should come second to the story, like in Black/White 2. Black/White 2 you mainly focused on the story more than going around and beating the Gyms- so much so it was almost an afterthought.
"Oh I don't know where Team Plasma ran off too . . . might as well fight the Gym Leader while I'm here." (8D)

I'd also like to see the return of Team Rocket- a true return where they're evil again and I mean really evil. Not to mention 3rd person view would be interesting. I've seen someone Mod a game and it looks very interesting to play through "Pokemon World" (my own fan-name for such a game) that way.

Black I'd have to agree with Reiji a bit. You just keep telling up why it is bad and giving simple statements to back yourself up. Why not explain a bit more?

Actually, unlimited leveling could work for an MMO if they make it into another WoW.
Start it off with Level 100, then release an expansion pack that goes up to Level 150 or something, then keep releasing expansion packs for people to buy.

And in the meantime, there'd be tons of stuff to do aside from the Gym-League formula. An open world can open up different aspects people always wanted to try, such as being a Gym Leader or joining an evil team.
This game could operate on quests, not just the standard fare. Quests such as doing Pokemon Ranger stuff, or dungeon exploring like in Mystery Dungeon would rack up currency, and you can use currency to buy items (duh), buy a house/gym, and other customizations.
And there could be legendaries, enemies that you won't be able to beat along and be forced to team up with other players in order to defeat, like in WoW when you attack in hordes.

I think you'd have to work really hard to be able to become a Gym Leader, but once you do, you can have other players come fight you to earn your badge. Sure, this would lead to probably a bajillion gyms, but who cares? There could be some sort of achievement rewards for when you earn 100 different Gym badges or something. And for bragging rights.
And the benefits for being a Gym leader...obviously money from trainers you defeat, but maybe as a counter for players' badge achievements, they can have trainer achievements, the number of people they've defeated and prevented from earning their badge. Also as bragging rights and the higher your trainer ranking, the more recognition you earn from the rest of the world and you can upgrade your gym to...like another ranking or whatever. YEAH, there could be different types of gyms and the ranking would differentiate which gym leaders are new and which are tough to beat and would give good rep for defeating.

And joining Team Rocket or someone can offer both benefits, but drawbacks. Benefits would include being able to steal another player's Pokemon as opposed to money, but doing so will place them with some sort of "flag", like the crossbones in Runescape. Players with crossbones can't enter Gyms, Marts, or other establishments without risking NPC Officer Jennies pursuing them. And once they're caught, the stolen Pokemon's automatically returned to the original trainer.
Unless the Pokemon's traded away. Though that could cause some sort of black market in the game, so maybe they'd need to take a more special approach with the evil team aspect of the game.

And those are only a couple aspects of Pokemon.
Honestly, if it weren't for it being so end-all and unable to be topped, and if that idea didn't rip off so much from WoW, I'd say a Pokemon game MMO with every region would do just fine.
In my opinion.
I REALLY WISH GOKU WON, GOD DAMMIT.
It was a good fight though. Had an epic finish as well.
My only gripe was Goku kept transforming too quickly, I felt he was doing fine throughout most of it, but I understand the video had time constraints.
And their logic is pretty irrefutable. They definitely did their research and I think just about everyone who watched the video was convinced.

Is it bad that when I saw watching the Goku vs Superman Death Battle I was sitting in my room laughing hysterically shouting, "Yes! Yes! Fight, kill and be killed! Fight for my amusement!" MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

And honestly the research is indeed irrefutable; I too wish Goku won, but I was just happy seeing it happen. Goku is kind of cheap considering he "has no limits" but that is probably why I like Goku more . . . he isn't always the best.

Is that what you meant?
But yeah, Goku doesn't have that invincible feeling Superman does. When I watched him fighting Buu as a kid (as in me as a kid, not Buu), I was on the edge of my seat because he was only as strong as him with SS3.

Rainbow Dash was hilarious.

Yeah thanks Fusion. And yeah Goku isn't invincible like Superman, which is why I don't really read Superman stories. At all.

When I saw Starscream loose all I did was facepalm, shake my head, and say, "You've failed me yet again Starscream . . ."
