Fusion X. Denver
Cool, let's hit Jake with a mallet! Cool. Creator, that's pretty cool that you're joining the military. I actually know 2 other cool guys from my not-so-cool high school that are joining the ever-so-cool Marines this year. Actually, I think DMG joined the military last year, if I'm not mistaken. So that means 3 of our beloved YCM buddies went/are going off to defend our country :]

Fusion X. Denver
I did my best, don't know if that's the way to go, but a situation like that's going to be messy no matter how you play it. I just imagined what Peter Parker might do in that situation. When I realized Merciful Idiot probably didn't have web-shooters and super powers, I then just decided to trust my gut on it. Speaking of, anybody see that movie? It was pretty rad.

Fusion X. Denver
sudden Spidey obsession. Also, I've lost interest in Spiderman in favor of another Spider-themed Superhero.
Sudden he says.
I've loved Spidey ever since the 4th grade. My friend was playing Spider-Man 2 on Gamecube and web-slinging looked really fun, so I tried it, got into it, then bought it. Played the sh*t out of it, I'll tell ya. Then I saw Spider-Man 2 in theaters. Immediately started buying volumes of it, got a guide and did lots of research on it, and went as his clone Ben Reilly for my 5th Grade Halloween Parade. This has extended to the present day (being a fan, not cosplaying as his clone). I'd say my interest in Spider-Man was also perpetuated by my uncle's comic book collection. The dude has thousands of issues from 60s-90s. He's made a shitload of money selling some meh issues here and there, but he kept all the good ones, and those were fun to read. As a matter of fact, I've started buying a lot of recent Spider-Man graphic novels since I've earned a lot of money from work. There's a lot of interesting stories from the modern years. And of course, loved the new movie, even if it had some issues here and there. Point being, I'm a big Spidey fan. Batman, Iron Man, Thor, and all those other guys are cool and all, but Spider-Man's always going to be my favorite super hero.
What others are there? Spider-Woman? Arachne? Spider-Girl? Arachno-Dude? Perhaps The Spider, an American pulp-magazine hero from the 1930s? I heard he always left a red spider-mark on his enemies so others wouldn't be blamed for his actions, sounds like he'd be up your alley.

Jake the Sage
I know Fusion. When I saw what they did to Deadpool I was completely upset. I mean he didn't even break the fourth wall even ONCE~! Hu . . . I've never heard of her before. Webcomic is probably why, though when I get the chance I'll read it. Did you guys know that there was an anime-themed Marvel comic book? It's more realistic than SUPER STRENGTH Aren't spiders actually really strong? Might be confusing them with ants but either way, Spidey's more about outwitting the opponent and acrobatics than sheer strength. CLIMBING WALLS Which spiders do... WEBS FROM WRISTS They're not organic in the comics; he uses web-shooters of his own design. He made up the super-adhesive formula that makes up his webbing too. Although, he did develop organic webbing at one point, but it was retconned once his history was rewritten. and 20/20 VISION. I dunno, probably a play on how they have multiple eyes or something.
Either way, I don't care much about realism; fantasy has more flexibility and opportunity for creativity IMO. Jake the Sage
Actually Spiderman does have the equivalent to that of a spiders. He was originally able to life 10 tons but recently he has been upgraded to double that so that he can lift 20 tons. Also it has been shown that when Spiderman is hitting someone he does pull his punches; in fact when Wolverine and Spiderman change bodies Wolverine uses Spiderman's full strength and sends Sabertooth FLYING.
