I watched lots of anime when I was little but I didn't specifically know it as anime

I must say I first got into it with Naruto

First anime to make me wanna look up on youtube to watch it all.

And then it almost made me realize manga were usually further ahead, so it got me into manga too


And a'ight, DEF topic officially banned

DBZ and Pokemon started it all for me, but I didn't know they were anime. It's not even funny how obsessed I was with DBZ though.
One day on vacation, my parents surprised me with some DBZ "comics" and I took to them.
They were in black and white and were read in the opposite direction.
Confused the heck out of me, but I loved it and went looking for them in stores, then I found the volumes.
After collecting DBZ for a while, I discovered there were more comics like these, called manga, at my friend's house. He had YGO, YuYu Hakusho, One Piece and Naruto. I sampled all 4 series (particularly YYH, which I've seen on TV) and loved them all.
And started collecting them.
Then I found out the manga in Japan were light years ahead of America, and discovered online scanlations.
The rest is history.

1. Watching it again would be great. Trust me, it's overall one of the best shoujos you can find. Story gets epic, too, and characters are all amazing.

I was referring to Sakura .-.
But yeah, I'll be having as many nostalgiagasms as possible before going to college, so sounds good.

Honestly Lee is one of my favorite all-time anime characters

He's very VERY Sasuke-ish, or Gokudera-ish in the beginning

But he has hilarious moments that show he's still just a 5th grader :3
