This is based on a poll of 400 marines that I WATCHED do that. @Nexev Exactly, so I /reagquit from an idiotic vigilante group. I went back as soon as I was certain that it wasn't going to happen. Jake the Sage
[s]Okay Nexev those single post pictures are kinda becoming . . . spammy[/s] Darn he edited XD And didn't Striker's "revolution" eventually petter out because no one was willing to "join forces with him"? But Nexev they teach Marines to do a LOT of things 8/ My Grandpa is one and he knows a lot of sh*t you'd think he wouldn't need to know
Sploda
It died because it was an idiotic attempt from an idiot. Never would've worked. @Nexev Honestly? To show off in parade AND in case of really intense CQC.
Deustodo
Yes, because it is an ordinary duty for every soldier to learn how to do a back flip and hit the target with axe because there will be a lot of chances do to a back flip while holding an axe when you are in the MIDDLE OF A GODDAMN MODERN WARFARE. Jake the Sage
True there was absolutely NO way it would ever work . . . like the Mods revolting against YCMaker himself . . . no way it would ever work- he'd just ban them. I personally get to know most of the Mods and be friends with them, not only because they are cool people, but to be able to go to them when I need aid. Sploda
[s]Hacking is totally fun.[/s] Yeah I'm cool with the Mods I've gotten to talk to. I think I almost got banned from the first FTK for making Flame a B-Day Card YGO style. But Yeah I'm on okay terms with Opal (If still a mod), Roxas, Icy, and Flame. I don't really know Rinnie, but I hear Rinnie is cool.
Deustodo
Guns are different than medieval weapons. You will not throw a MP5 in a muslim like you throw an axe. And why would the hell would you do a close assault when you have sniper rifles goddamn it? You army teach your soldier silly things. They just need to know how to kill, not be killed and how to survive in a war. Then they graduate, steal from the houses where they fighting and send it back home as a War Trophy. Jake the Sage
[s]if you CAN hack that is[/s] Why would you be banned because of making a Birthday card for Flame in FTK? I know a couple, but lets just say I've talked to most of them and have become friends with a lot of'em.

But it's retard to learn all these things that have a vague chance of being useful when you can just do the stuff you know is usefull really well. Any solider who has to backflip is a failure for not getting rid of the enemy before he advanced so close onto your position. Nexev
But why use a knife when you can use a gun? Honestly, knife throwing is actually not very proffesional at all. You lose your weapon and if you miss the enemy can f***ing pick it up. Then all of a sudden he is in control.

[/quote] Your Gun = No Ammo Guy has gun pointed at team mate. You won't make it in time to stab him with the knife you have. Solution = Throw the knife. Then one of three things happen: 1. He shoots that guy, then you. 2. You hit him with the handle, making him flinch allowing you to close the distance and grapple/your buddy shoots him. 3. You hit him with the blade and he dies/gets shot by buddy. Is it situational? Yes. I'd still rather like to know how to though. ...Granted Air Force doesn't teach you that. Nexev
The knife is more useful not as a combat weapon, atleast in wartime. The ability to cut is extremly useful but it just doesn't kill. f*** we have shovels that deal more damage then it.
Sploda
True, but a knife is easier to carry. and you can carry more than one.
Jake the Sage
True . . . also a knife is essential for practical things like cutting and what not you'd be able to use it for. A shovel cannot be used for that . . . EDIT: d*mnit I got ninja'd . . . AGAIN
Nexev
Eh A etool is actually a powerful weapon, and it can build trenches. They are standard issue tools for soliders. Knifes are useful in war but for every purpose besides actually stabbing people. They have ballistic knives for that.
