Well, for monsters in the extra deck, they've made guys that are summoned with other monsters and spells (fusion), and guys summoned with only other monsters (synchros). So the new monster type will be summoned from the Extra Deck with some other monster(s) and a trap. They will be colored hot pink. And they will be extremely broken.
