both cards are great... for THIS 1 on 1, I'm voting for the one that looks like it could be printed out... now it may have to do with the fact he used Liam's template... but my vote goes to Blu... Omega, don't let my vote keep you down, your card is good but the realness factor is what got my vote... if he wouldn't have used Liam's template, I think you woulda got my vote because your effect is flawless and its actually balanced, imo

First of all, the rules state:

"Starting from September 1, 2010, the maximum number of Reps you can give per 1-on-1 contest is ONE. Only one.

Since this is a new adjustment, moderators will remind you if you have forgotten or have not noticed this new regulation.

After October 1, contests will be locked without warning if you are giving out more than one Rep per contest."

So technically this contest is illigal. It should be a contest giving 1 rep and some points to the winner, nothing else. But I suppose even Omega Devil can read English, so I'll wait for the edit before reporting even though I have the desparate urge to get him in trouble with mods.

 

As for the concept, I vote for Blu, and it's not because I hate Omega Devil. Wait, did that just quote support your idea?

Omega Devil's card is simply underpowered. "This card cannot be Normal Summoned". Without any easy ways of summoning. Yes, of course you can Set it, but it isn't even counted as original. It also features a horrid effect that no one would use even if it could be Normal Summoned.

 

On the other hand, Blu's card is overpowered. It's a LV 4 tuner, which is good on its own; to add has a Cydra, Lock, and a RotA. It's a limitworthy card. Then again, I love overpowered cards, and no Omega Devil, this policy wasn't born five seconds ago. Underpowered cards are pointless. Overpowered cards are more fun to read, and when you imagine a world where your cards are played in locals, it's much nicer than having your cards go in the trade-for-5-cents folder.

My vote goes to Omega Devil.

 

I feel that it is a strong ability, but it wouldn't be excessively powerful. The ability to dispose of traps is important in a warrior deck, and the fact that it can be destroyed with Nobleman of Crossout, etc, makes it well balenced IMHO.

 

Blu has made a level 4 tuner with a special summon ability. My head is already thinking 'Free Stardust'. It is good in the fact that it supports warrior toolbox decks very well, but the special summon ability feels a tiny bit too powerful.
