Lexsuncion
Casimer found himself in the middle of a pleasant dream. He quite literally saw himself, standing in the middle of a lovely wind swept field full of colorful flowers sheltered by a beautiful blue sky overhead. He looked around at the dream, and the man in the center of it all. Of course this was a dream, since he was still in the prison. Or maybe I ran out of tokens? Am I dead? Most certainly not. If he were dead, he wouldn't have the nagging feeling Dark Valkyria were near by, wistfully staring at the man in the center of the field, smiling brilliantly. Come to think of it, when was that last time he actually smiled? He always gave people a welcoming smile, but all smiles in the complex were hollow. No one really smiled for joy. A Smile in this cruel, unreal place was a formality, and nothing more. So why was it that Casimer came here? Even in school, smiles seemed so distant and fake. All his life he was taught how to smile, never left to experience it for himself. So was he in prison to learn to smile? "That's really bleak, Casimer," Dark Valkyria said, hanging on him. Unlike the real world, in a dream, Dark Valkyria's touch felt as real as a dream could feel. It was refreshing and unnerving at the same time, considering she had no regard for just how feminine her form was and the havoc that played on a male mind. "You're here for me...." Casimer listened to the seemingly more hopeless words over his shoulder, watching the figure in the middle of the field panic as the grass and flowers started to melt away into some sort of slop. The stench of death and rot surrounded him, and soon the very ground beneath the observed Casimer began to swallow him, turning him into pulp just like the rest. Soon, it all faded to black. "Cass! Cass get up, Man!" Tuck shook Casimer fairly roughly. It wasn't an uncommon occurrence for Tuck to freak out about Casimer's nightmares. "Geez...you've been out for hours past lunch. What'd you do last night?" Casimer looked around, but of course there was no clock. He couldn't imagine sleeping for that long, but judging by the bustle around the section he was in, it was indeed fairly late. He hadn't done anything too strenuous, his group had a meeting, and in that meeting, they all talked. Nothing special or exciting. Why did he sleep so long? He looked around for Dark Valkyria, who hovered into realization as she felt she was being looked for. "You sure did sleep a long time. I wasn't too harsh, was I?" She was smiling, as always. It didn't matter how evil she was being, her smile was always as brilliant as an angel's. Casimer passed a weak smile toward Echo, letting her know he was fine. His body was sore from being still for so long, and it felt like he still wasn't rested enough. He would have liked to curl back up under the covers, but that would just waste the day. It'd be hard to explain to the army that Casimer didn't want to lead, on account of laziness. "Did they find my other decks, yet?" Casimer yawned and stretched, asking Tuck. "Not that I've seen." Tuck shruged, afirming casimer was going to be awake and fine, before getting up, and ditching him. "I got challanged to a duel, so I'm ditching you. Wanted to see if you wanted to watch, but heck, I guess you're a bit out of it, huh?" Casimer watched Tuck leave the cell, then shruged and stretched again. They weren't the closest of friends, so Tuck's attitude wasn't uncalled for. Casimer got up, changed, and left the men's block. He enjoyed being around the ladies more than the gentlemen, so the cafeteria, and other multi-gender areas, were where Casimer was more often. Of course, some of the women in the complex were more frightening than some of the men.... Dark Valkyria hovered happily over his shoulder, humming a familiar tune. She'd stole it from his mind some time ago--a song from his childhood he didn't even remember anymore. The day was really sort of slow, so he was hoping to bump into some sort of excitement or trouble...maybe if he was lucky he'd find on of his targets. encapturer
"Excuse me!" Nera instantly tensed up when she heard that voice behind her. It didn't sound like an inmate; at least not one that would be calling out to her in the middle of the "day". The voice had to be calling out to her, after all, the few other people around kept to themselves and more or less ignored the noise coming from behind her. Deciding that she held it off long enough, Nera finally turned around to face the source of the voice. There were officers there, two more of them in fact. Nera briefly wondered if Astral wanted to kidnap her again, but the presence of the third person wearing a large pea coat seemed to suggest otherwise. She noticed that the third person was handcuffed to one of the officers, but could not discern any further details before being approached by the other officer, a bespectacled man who just introduced himself right out of the blue as 'Ivan Freeman, Officer 329, and head of the IPE'. Officer 329? Nera thought to herself. Why do I even need to know that? Nera instinctively took a step back as the man bowed after approaching her. The sudden introduction left her without words. Should she introduce herself? Run away? And why is the IPE approaching her anyway? She's already been here for three months! Even so, these were officers of Mass Eclipse, and she was a prisoner, so she straightened her posture and gave her reply. "Hello," she said, trying to sound friendly, but failing to hide her confusion. "Is there something... you need from me?"
ThatPhantomGuy
Ivan swiftly strode closer towards Nera, pulling out what appeared to be a magnifying glass, "I see, I see, I see!" he anounced looking at her with the glass, "Aha! You are confused!" He stood there with a confident smile, apparently very proud that he discovered the obvious. After a moment when no one said anything, and the handcuffed man in the pea coat just coughed, he got the hint that nobody was impressed. He nervously and rather quickly went on to answer Nera's question. "Er, to answer your question; You, rather all prisoners, are not allowed in here, Sir Warden said so." Ivan claimed, pointing one of his spider-like fingers at her. "The Head Dufus never said that damn four-eyes." the man in the pea coat called out to Ivan in a thick New Yorker accent, but his expression wasn't visible due to his fedora casting a shadow over his face. The young officer next to him shook his head in a nervous agreement. "Well he implied it." Ivan quickly assured them, "So Miss Prisoner, I will have to ask you come with us. Provided you'll give me your name first."
encapturer
Nera took another glance around, and noticed that the other people around were not prisoners at all, explaining why they were not surprised by these turn of events. Nera herself was frustrated that she was about to be escorted around by officers. Again. Still, there wasn't much she could do right now, without being marked for death or something. "I'm Nera Tenei," she said, crossing her arms. "And if we aren't supposed to be here, mister... ahh... Freeman, then why can't I just go back the way I came?" The question would probably get most other officers mad, preferring to have the prisoners submit without question, but Ivan seemed to be strange enough that she could get away with asking a few question and not piss him off horribly. Big Bad Pennar
the talking coming from the duel arena woke up Feraku, she sighed and said to herself "What does it take to get some sleep...." she looked around and darted from the alleyway, still as a cat, heading toward the duel arena. After a while, She reached the Duel Arena and saw a pair of Officers, a male prisoner cuffed near the officers, and a female prisoner talking to the officers, she sighed, she knew many officers had what she called "God Syndrome", but those two officers were showing it to the highest degree in her eyes.... ThatPhantomGuy
Ivan fidgeted before answering her, "Because, I need to ensure you leave this-" But before he could finish a loud thud came from behind Ivan, and the young officer was on the ground, dazed, and the man in the black pea coat rushed Ivan slamming into him quite hard with his shoulder. "Ohcrap-" was all Ivan got out before hitting the ground hard. He then took off after he knew Ivan wouldn't be up so quick with a quick glance at Nera, he jetted in the opposite direction of them. Big Bad Pennar
Feraku saw such amusement at what had went on, She cackled, possibly making others aware of her presence, she walked out of the shadows and into the Duel arena after turning back to her normal form and said "Poor poor little officers, can catch some puny little criminal, but unable to hold him for pretty much any amount of time from what i see." she giggled again "you guys always have had that 'God Syndrome' you all have" she said while engulfing herself in an insane cackle
The True Ace Attorney
When Lan's voice broke into her ear, Olivia gave a small jump. Realising her idiocy, she quickly began reading again. "Nothing's wrong, Lan. I was just making sure that these work." Olivia said in a fast, hushed voice, If they didn't, we'd have made a massive risk for no reason... We probably should have tested them before now..." Olivia fell silent and looked around the library. "I should probably go now, the library isn't the best place for covert conversations. If you need me, I'll be here. If you find out or see anything interesting, give me a call. Talk to you later, Lan." Olivia stopped talking and set her book down. Reaching down to her waist, she unhooked a small deck holder on her belt and began flicking through the cards.

He stopped as he pulled out a Ritual Monster from the deck. "Well...lets hope you can get me through this tournament, Sora." he said as he put the card back in the deck. encapturer
"Eh...!" There was no time to decide. As Ivan slumped to the ground in pain, Nera's eyes met the mysterious prisoner's as he fled the scene. She could have left him alone and went about her business, and that might have been the better idea, since she already gave her name. Of course, she was a prisoner, so all they have to do is match the face to the prisoner record anyway... and she just had to know what that man was doing. "This curiosity will be the end of me," Nera muttered under her breath before taking off and chasing after the man. After all, she figured she'd end up in trouble anyway just by being at the scene when the man escaped, so she might as well go all the way. ThatPhantomGuy
Ivan staggered to his feet as quickly as he could, he glanced first at his fellow officer, who was still on the ground, then at a mysterious girl who was laughing insanely, and lastly at the two prisoners running away. "Damn. It." he grumbled, activating a comlink while starting to chaise after them. The man noted that Nera was running right behind him, "You don't wanna be following me Blondie." he called to her. "This is Ivan Freeman, Mass Eclipse Officer #329, Head of the Incoming Prisoners Escort or IPE." Ivan announced to his device, "I require assitance near the Duel Stadium, one officer is down, and three prisoners are loose here. Two female, and Big Boss Denonno." Suddenly, to Ivan's dismay, the loud speakers went off. "Attention citizens! All of our preparations are complete for the tournament, so please make an orderly group in front of our 'Dining Area'. Our first round will be announced then, and make sure you look your best, the world is going to be watching."
Big Bad Pennar
Feraku heard the Announcement and Giggled with Glee "Yay, something that'll keep me from getting as bored" she giggled as she grew her wings and Tailfeathers almost instantaneously and Shot into the Air and took off toward the Mess hall... She reached the Mess Hall in a few seconds, and was the in line before most of the people could even get out their cells. She waited calmly as she turned back into her normal form and relaxed, she had almost all the time in the world to help herself to duel...
encapturer
"Tch," Nera broke off running after the man once the loudspeakers went off declaring the start of the tournament. She wanted to find out where the man was going, but she had wasted enough time gathering information. And in the end she learned... not much. Sure there were these two people in the library the other day who were doing... something with guards. And this mysterious fellow, who was supposedly snooping around the Duel Colloseum before he was caught by the officers on detail there. If she was going to really break through - she'd have to start taking a few more risks. For now, however, she really needed to get to that mess hall. Pulling a scrunched up black band from her pocket, she used the band to tie her hair into a crude ponytail. It didn't look too bad, and it would be a serviceable disguise if she stayed within the crowds heading towards the dining area. After all, she only spoke with Ivan for all of one minute. She would have to deal with that colossal blunder of giving out her real name if he does decide to pursue her, but it's a Mass Eclipse Televised Tournament! She was sure that she would think of something if confronted.
Jake the Sage
Lanz had heard the announcement over the speakers he had tapped into and grinned with excitement. He, of course, was no where near the Dinning Hall so it would take him some time to walk to the area to sign up. That was . . . if he walked and if he had to still sign up. Unbeknownst to the other citizen prisioners you had to not write your name down on a piece of paper but have your ID scanned into the computers data banks so they could keep track of if you had lost during the tournament; the ID scan did nothing to track you since Mass Eclipse already had an effective system for that. Twenty four minutes before the tournament was officially stated to have begun accepting registrations Lanz had hacked into the system and placed his own personalized ID code, the name being his nickname 'The Ghost of Mass Eclipse'. "Guess all that means if for me to make an appearance and listen to the squawks that fatman makes when he sees me," Lanz said to himself as he mounted his Duel Runner and speed off towards the tournament grounds. It took him enough time for probably thirty to fifty five prisioners to get signed up before he made it on scene, though he remained in the shadows so the fatman could come out and make a personal speech to the duelists and viewers glued to their tv screens. Big Bad Pennar
Feraku had signed up for the Tournament, she was screeching with utmost excitement, she saw a very diverse crowd of prisoners. she then muttered to herself "And little do they realize that they had almost earned the death penalty by letting me in there" She showed a lot of confidence that she was going to win this entire Tournament, she believed in her Deck and it's own power, she remembered her first Duel with her Deck a year ago.... Her memory shown it as clear as day, She had cackled as she yelled "Come on, Try me with your best Deck!", then a Very tough looking person shown up with his his Deck, he was very buff, and was tatooed in many places. The two said Unison "Duel!" at which Feraku and the tough looking person drew their cards.... Then that happened, it Blackened and reappeared in another part of the Duel "I Activate 'Charge of the Light Brigade' which allows me to send the top 3 cards of my Deck to the graveyard to add 1 Lightsworn from my Deck to my hand!" as the person sent the top 3 cards of his deck to the graveyard, the Memory blackened and reappeared into another part of the duel "I Special Summon Taikun - Veida Tei Adu! and I Return 'Greed Sign: Powerful Gain' to My de-" the Memory blackened again and reappeared again, but this time it was with her in a middle of a Synchro Chant "-estruction! Bring Ruin to my Enemies! Taikun - Tavita Varika!" at which a Totem-like Figure Shot out of the Shining green light. "I Activate the Effect of Tavita Varika! Since i have 4 Spell cards in my graveyard, 1200 of your Life points will be burned from you!" Suddenly, a wave of Black fire seemingly engulfed the Person, reducing his Life points to 100- She was knocked from her flashback with a nudge on her forehead, it seemed she had dozed off to sleep while having the flashback.... Super Chaos Sonic
Lan heard the announcement and quickly opened his eyes and jumped out from his cell's bed. He fixed his hair and looked under his bed for an old Duel Disk he had found and fixed up himself. He strapped it on his left wrist and then said smirking,"Its showtime!" He then ran out of his cell and headed straight for the dining hall. Finally, the tourney has started!! And with it, me and Olivia will cut the competition down to size and then...win this thing! No matter what, I'm going to be there to help her out! he thought as he continued to run towards the dining hall. He finally made it in the dining hall and he stood there, panting as he was out of breath. He looked up and saw the other prisoners gathered around in the dining hall. OK...didn't think there was that many people in this prison. he thought as he gulped. He shook his head and said,"I can do this...just need to relax and believe in myself." The True Ace Attorney
As the anouncement ran throughout the prison's loudspeaker system Olivia carefully put away her deck can replaced her book on the shelf. Watching as most of the inhabitants of the library rushed to the dining area, Olivia stood up and headed to her cell. Inside, she searched quickly throughout the small chest of drawers by her matress and pulled out a small powder blue bow. It was a good luck charm for her. Placing it neatly into her hair, she headed to the dining area. As she headed towards the dining area, a huge ruckus could be heard. "So much for orderly. I wonder why they even bother for a place like this?" Olivia thou8gh to herself as she gave a slight sigh and walked into the dining area, along with every other prisoner. Lexsuncion
Casimer looked up at trouble. The loud speaker was nothing but that. It announced executions, rules, and annoying new policy that would make the lives of others harder. the Loud Speaker was hated more than the warden himself, because the loud speaker brought the bad news, not the warden. "Yay! A Tournament!" Dark Valkyria did a somersault for joy. "No, This is bad, Echo...." Casimer looked for a way out. the dining hall was filling quickly. "What? Why? I LOVE watching you duel!" She said excitedly. "No, You like watching me win..." Casimer corrected her. "If I get drafted right now, none of that will be happening. I don't have my other two decks." Dark Valkyria pouted. "Come on, Casimer! You know the roster is random from some sort of file. You can't just run away from it before it happens." "I'm running, but not away. We have to get my decks back. Now." Casimer found a pocket of people leaving the mess hall. Of course, people who were there only to eat didn't have their decks, so they were going back to get them. Casimer could look like one of these people, and get a quick route out of the dining area until he had to turn toward the solitary confinement zone. "But they're locked up..." It took Dark Valkyria a moment to understand, "Unless we're going to get them back by force?!" "Exactly, now go find something, or someone who can help us, quickly. You have until I make it to the first turn toward confinement. Go." Casimer became serious. He had no time to relax and observe the situation. He had to get his decks back, and quickly, in the event that he's called. He didn't even have his turbo dueling deck, so that'd be an immediate disqualification if he was called for a turbo duel. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ "La, La La, La La!" Dark Valkyria loved it when Casimer got serious. He was usually stuffy and boring, but when he become focused, he became a jerk. Nothing but his goal mattered, and he didn't mind smashing people who got in his way. It was exactly what she wanted from him. She hovered around the compound, looking for something, like maybe a lock pick. Wait, didn't those security doors have calculators open them? She remembered hearing a guard talk about it. They needed a whole PAD of KEYs to operate it. Or something like that. so then the lock pick was out. She doubted a gun would just be laying around. Besides, Casimer liked being subtle, so he probably wouldn't kill anyone unless Dark Valkyria was really lucky. So he needed a way to open a door...and that would be...what? She continued searching. She wasn't too fast, considering her steel wings, but she was faster than that frump Freed, or stupid Evocator. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Casimer rounded the first corner he needed to to head toward Solitary confinement. He didn't know if Dark Valkyria would find anything, but he had to use everything he had. If everything turned out well, he might get his decks back. If not, death wasn't too far away. ThatPhantomGuy
[Location: Mass Eclipse, Duel Stadium] The Warden's announcement put Ivan in an even worse predicament, now the two women have bolted off, most likely to blend in with the Mess Hall crowd, leaving Dennono still running ahead of him. Well, he WAS the only person Ivan was supposed to escort anyway. But the man had already out run him, and there was little to no chance of catching up to him. Ivan sighed as he slowed to a stop, then started to head back where his fellow officer was. "Oh well... I have a pretty good idea where he's going though." Ivan said helping the officer up, "He always liked to make big entrances." [Location: Mass Eclipse, Mess Hall] The Mess Hall was completely changed now, bustling with prisoners as far as the eye could see. Eclipse's Mess Hall was one enormous place though, it was like a giant white lunch room that could hold hundreds of people at once. But there was a building that hung over the Mess Hall, no one really knew what it was, but it did have a large balcony that looked over the place. Suddenly an ear-piercing noise cut through the air, those who had been in Eclipse for a while knew that this was a method the prison used to shut up the prisoner chatter or riots. The intense frequency could knock out a grown man in less than a minute, but the prison only played it in a short interval, just to get everyone's attention. "Direct your attention to the Head Warden of Mass Eclipse!" the speakers blared in a grand, and a little forceful, manner. And sure enough, on the large balcony was none other than the Head Warden. He stood tall and proud, like a king over his subjects. Two large screens appeared next to the balcony, also showing the Warden on it. The Warden swifty grabbed a microphone and began talking. "Hello my citizens. And welcome to Mass Eclipse's Grand Freedom Tournament! Yes, you're not hard of hearing, Freedom Tournament. For the winner of this tournament will not only be crowned Mass Eclipse's King of Games, but also be granted freedom!" The Warden stopped talking as the loud roar and mixtures of cheers at the sound of freedom. It really seemed to get every prisoner's attention, for now they hushed and waited for what else the Warden would announce. "Not only will you have a chance at freedom, but you will also be dueling against the greatest Mass Eclipse Duelist ever! Even some new ones who will be making their grand appearance here!" the Warden pointed at a small platform that was unnoticable until now covered in spotlights, the hovering platform had a couple of people standing on it and they're faces were captured on the screens, so the Warden mentioned a couple of names, "... and also, the infamous mafia crime god from America!" The spotlight shown on an empty spot on the platform, but before anyone could ask any questions, the answer appeared above the Warden. A man wearing a black-as-night pea coat and hat stood next to a statue high above the Warden. The man dropped from the statue and landed softly next to the Warden, the Warden was either scared or surprised, or probably both. With one swift gesture the man slung an arm around the back of the Warden's neck and the other snatched the microphone from his hands. "Mafia Crime God, Big Boss Dennono. But you can call me D." The crowd of prisoners went dead silent, everyone knew his name well. The Dennono Mafia was the biggest mafia in the US, they had a reputation of notorious crimes, mostly pertaining to bank robberies, but the rest was a war between the police and maifia. Although they never kidnapped, or murder an innocent civilian, they were known not to be messed with, the long list of deceased rival mafias and policemen was proof of that. Jake the Sage
Lanz gave a small whistle as he saw the ‘Mess Hall’ slowly fill until it was completely filled with prisoners, a proverbial sea of bodies with blank faces. Watching attentively he noticed a bit of motion above the Mess Hall, a large balcony not many people had ever noted beforehand or really cared about. He could see people moving about and suddenly the ear-piercing noise of Mass Eclipse’s riot control system cut through the air, but only continued for a short minute to get everyone’s attention. Holding his hands over his ears he scowled as the fatman appeared before everybody and he cursed under his breath, “Figures that fat a$$ would use that system to get everybody’s attention . . .” Standing high above his prisoners the fatman waited as two large screens appeared, showing him on it, and he grabbed the microphone that slowly rose from the floor in front of him, "Hello my citizens! And welcome to Mass Eclipse's Grand Freedom Tournament! Yes, you're not hard of hearing, Freedom Tournament . . . for the winner of this tournament will not only be crowned ‘Mass Eclipse's King of Games’, but also be granted his or her freedom!" Lanz grinned while the other prisoners gave loud cheers, their own empty heads now filling with the thought of getting a ‘Get Out of Jail’ free card, and he couldn’t help thinking about the irony in it. “This is a fine way to end my days here at Mass Eclipse as it’s resident “ghost” . . . because after this I’ll have moved on to a new life,” he thought as the fatman waited for everyone to slowly quite down. In the back of his head Lanz could hear someone offering another . . . “better” . . . way of sending himself off, “Kill the fatman! Wouldn’t it be better to murder him now, on stage in front of everybody and God! No one would know who it was and he sure as f*ck deserves it. You have a weapon to do it . . . Why are you waiting?!” "Not only will you have a chance at freedom, but you will also be dueling against the greatest Mass Eclipse Duelist ever! Even some new ones who will be making their grand appearance here!" those words were just enough for Lanz to banish his demons away for now as he watched the spectacle unfold with everybody else. Standing on a hovering platform a couple people stepped forward right as the fatman finished mentioning their names, “. . . and also, the infamous mafia crime god from America!" What happened next was a surprise even to Lanz. The man the Warden was going to introduce appeared above him and, after landing easily next to him, grabbed him in a chock hold. As the Warden’s eyes grew wide with shock or fear, Lanz personally didn’t care if it was either or both, it was still a nice look he wanted to have given him personally, the mafia crime god spoke into the microphone, “Mafia Crime God, Big Boss Dennono . . . but you can call me D!” Lanz at first was surprised such a man had been invited, or blackmailed possibly, into participating in this kind of tournament. He had heard the Dennono family name a lot when he first got here, he had been offered to join their ranks a couple times too, though he always declined stating he ‘didn’t want to get a reputation going, and he was sure everyone else knew the name well. The Dennono Mafia was the biggest in all of the United States, their most notable crimes being grand theft robberies of national banks; a crime not many people could pull multiple times. Though that was impressive enough the thing that made their reputation precede them is the ever ongoing war between them and Sector Security. Although they never kidnapped, or murder an innocent civilian, they were known not to be messed with, the long list of deceased rival mafias and policemen was proof of that. His inner demons reveling in this newfound information Lanz revved his Duel Runner, now intent on making his first public appearance since he escaped. And what a way he did it! Letting the wheels cause a high pitched squeal, the rubber burning as he held the brake down, he released it and zoomed off the buildings roof at top speed. Crashing through the right video screen he landed on to same balcony the Warden and D were standing on. Spinning without ever stopping he looked at D in the eyes, a rumor that stated you’d be marked for death, and pointed at him, “D!” Making the ‘neck cutting’ motion he then pointed his thumb down, a pretty obvious translation of what he was going to do to the infamous mob boss and then looked over at the Warden with a grin. Getting off the Duel Runner, though he left it running still, he removed his helmet and placed it under his arms, “I don’t care what you have to gain from entering this tournament . . . but you sure as hell won’t win it. This tournament belongs to the ‘Ghost of Mass Eclipse’!” <OOC: Long opening deserves an equally long response post 83 >
ThatPhantomGuy
From afar it did seem like D was choking the Warden, but a different camera view on the left over screen showed that he had his arm around the Warden as if he was with a group of old chums. When the Ghost landed next him, D turned, also with the Warden, to greet him. Now the Warden was practically in panic seeing as the two worst possible criminals were with him. "'The Ghost of Mass Eclipse'?" D asked scratching the side of his head with microphone, "Um... I can't say I've really heard of you. Considering that I've just been arrested and sent to this prison. And sorry to dissapoint you, but there's no way I'll be losing my chance at freedom." "H-Hey, if you could let me finish, I can start the tournament right away." the Warden grumbled, he seemed calmer now, like he knew something they didn't. "Well, I guess I will let ol' Warden here finish up talking." And so D passed the microphone to the Warden, who was starting to look a little better now. D put his free arm around the Ghost in a friendly manner to let the Warden continue. It was an odd sight to see. The American crime god with both of his arms around the Warden of Mass Eclipse and the Ghost of Mass Eclipse. D put the feeling of the place in a relaxing way, as if it was nothing more than your city's annual tournament. "Isn't this a surprise? The Ghost of Mass Eclipse in the flesh. I guess he'll be dueling along with the rest of you for the title." the Warden sneered, although he hated him, there was really nothing he could do about it now, "Also, this tournament will be broadcasted live across the world via Vidbots. These are little black balls that hover in mid air and can transmit video. Of course for you 'popular duelist' we'll have reporters and sessions later on." A small group of Eclipse officers appeared from behind them, from the looks of them they didn't carry any weapons nor did the seem to want to arrest either of the criminals. Seeing as D was meaning no harm to the Warden.
Lexsuncion
Dark Valkyria hadn't returned yet. The Guardsman blocking the entrance to the Solitary confinement section and Casimer had locked eyes only a moment ago. He asked something along the lines of what Casimer was doing, but casimer didn't know how to reply. The man was armed, and casimer wasn't. "You're slow, Echo..." Casimer muttered to himself. "You jerks are starting a tournament when I don't have my decks. They should still be waiting in the solitary confinment holding room. Do you mind if I go in and grab them?" Like that's going to work. There's a reason there's an armed guard outside this place. If it came down to it, casimer might have to try and Duel this guy into submission, but with his current deck, that would be a little bit harder. He could only pray that this guardwas feeling nice and happy, and loving of his fellow man, if not, Casimer would have to attempt to enter his first duel since leaving confinement with his weakest of his three decks...The suspense was almost exciting.... encapturer
"What." Nera could not believe it... The man she ran into was actually the head of the Dennono mafia. She had heard of them, and the rumors surrounding them. One would think that if they had caught him they would do more than just toss him in here; of course, the lack of information about his arrest could just be the prison's information filter at work. The fact that they even give someone like him a shot at freedom frustrated her to no end. Were their ratings going down or something? And then there was Dennono's entrance. How can... how can they just let him get away with that? Nera thought to herself as he spoke to the audience. And just as Nera could not believe things could get any more absurd, a man who claimed to be the Ghost of Mass Eclipse came crashing through one of the video screens on a D-Wheel, without regard to his own safety, nor the safety of those nearby. Just so he could show off and trash talk. Nera facepalmed. She was finally relieved that the warden took back control of the microphone, as bizarre as that sounded. For now she undid her makeshift ponytail and let her hair run freely down her back once again. For now, she would wait to see if she is even selected to be in the tournament before making any further moves.
Big Bad Pennar
Nos Feraku Glared 'D' with her own scarlet eyes when he let the warden continue. He, despite being part of the mafia, did not put any pressure at all on her, in fact, it offended her, if he was the so called "Crime God", he would not be in any sort of jail. She let out a very loud and Very Menancing hiss at Dennono, then took off towards Solitary confinement, which in turn, she nearly ran into some boy by accident.... Jake the Sage
The crowd cried and made quite a lot of noise when Lanz crashed through the video screen without worrying about himself or those below who'd get showered by the glass shards. He was sure some would feel a bit angered at his arrival, after all a glass shower isn't all that enjoyable. Once he landed and made his statement D, naturally, stated he wasn't going to loose this tournament nor his chance for freedom. Grinning he enjoyed his private knowledge, "Well it doesn't matter since I'm getting out either way." Then D put his free arm around Lanz in a friendly manner and kept his other one around the Warden. Lanz could feel a twing, the urge to send the crime boss flying over the edge of the balcony, but he remembered something- they were being filmed constantly. Itclicked then, as a crime boss he was a short of idol, and acting buddy buddy with the Warden and 'The Ghost' would make his public appeal a lot better. Whispering to D he watched the Vidbots circle as the Warden continued, "After this you can drop the act . . ." "Isn't this a surprise? The Ghost of Mass Eclipse in the flesh. I guess he'll be dueling along with the rest of you for the title." the Warden sneered, making Lanz grin widely and even being to get into the act. When the Warden finished explaining the Vidbot a small group of Eclipse officers appeared from behind them. The guards didn't have any weapons on them, that Lanz could see, but he didn't want to give them a chance; afterall he was an uninvited guest. Readying an escape, which he had five of at that moment in time, Lanz waited to see what would happen.
