Nos Feraku then bowed her head down in sadness "It is really hard to explain where exactly The Underworld is, how about I show you when I get out?" She sighed as she turned into an almost exact Doppelganger of Alex, minus the red eyes and said "You might want to be careful though, Outsiders are not exactly welcome there, as with myself, and the air we breathe is very acidic, so you might want to bring a gas mask if you decide to come visit"

Astral smiled, "Preoccupied..?" he asked getting out of his bed, "I suppose I was preoccupied with sleep."

Laughing, he stood up a turned on the lights in the grand bedroom to a low dim, so he could ajust his eyes to the light. Now that Astral thought about it, Nera's call wasn't asking for information or help. Perhaps she was simply testing the device, even though it was like a Saturday afternoon chat in a cafe. Without a prison of impending doom, or the Impetus. But Astral thought an afternoon lunch in a cafe with Nera would be wonderful, once he got her out of Eclipse...

"But I'm not busy, so we can talk... That is if you're not busy either."

[Location: Mass Eclipse, Unknown Office]

The more Alex heard about The Underworld, the less she wanted to set foot into the place. Of course, she wouldn't be the one entering the place, that's for another company. Although Feraku didn't seem excited about going there either, a tiny bit of her wanted to comfort Feraku, but she couldn't show too much compassion, otherwise it could be used against her. Before Alex could ask another question, she heard someone talking from outside of the office, she knew it wasn't Jauger or any of her officers from the sound. Whoever was talking wasn't perticullarly close to the office, but they were getting close.

"We need to get out of here." Alex whispered to Feraku, "We can't attack or be seen by Eclipse officers either."

She made a point on the 'attack' part, Alex didn't want questions from Eclipse, which would just take more of her time.

Nos Feraku heard what Alex heard a few minutes ago, she had kept this in mind as she said "Well then, we should get going" She thought of where should they go, but had no clue. She then decided to let Alex lead, but do the flying herself "After we get into the air, Tell me where to go, and I Shall take ourselves there." Feraku grabbed Alex using both of her hands and took off from the Office after Growing her Wings and Tailfeathers, in an almost instant, 4 of her tailfeathers turned red and she flew into the air at a speed that it caused the air around them to vibrate in a pattern, making both her and Alex invisible to the naked eye, Feraku kept her Gs down so that she wouldn't knock Alex out.

"I don't think I'm busy. I mean, there's not much to do here besides eat, sleep, and play card games." Nera said, rummaging through one of her decks. "Though there was one thing I was meaning to ask for awhile now," Nera drew the top card from the deck, and stared at it. "Where do these cards come from? I've never seen the cards in my deck before, and everyone I duel down here hasn't seen them before, either."

Nera paused for a short moment, then spoke again. "I mean, if you don't know that's okay," she said quickly, slurring her words together. "I just wanted to know if you heard anything like that." Nera was frustrated; she was thankful for Astral's support, but didn't want to bother him unless it was important. She knows that she needs the help. Nera was just used to working alone.

Jauger felt great since he had power over Lanz, well, some power. But he wasn't one to throw his weight around. Jauger knew information is power, depending on what kind of information you have. With Lanz's escape, he could use it to his advantage.

"Alright." Jauger said simply.

Activating the cylinder device which showed a hologram of a contract, filled with words and two blank lines at the bottom with boxes next to them. Jauger slipped off his right glove and signed the hologram, then pressed his thumb against the box, apparently, an ID scanner.

"After you sign, you can tell me your 'disappearing act.'"
Stepping confidently, yet still cautiously, Lanz stopped right before the hologram contract and looked at it. Glancing over at Mr. Jauger for a second he grinned before he began looking over the entire contract to ensure there was nothing fishy about it. Though everything sounded good he still didn't beleive that the man standing to his right would simply help him escape because he just gave him some information. After rereading it for the third time he sighed, assured that there was nothing wrong with the contract, and then began signing his name on the perverbial dotted line before he pressed his thumb onto the ID scan. In the few seconds his thumb was touching the hologram the contract was official, withdrew his hand, and looked over at Mr. Jauger, "There . . . I've signed your d*mned contract so now I bet you want me to start explaining how I escaped, hu?"

Robert awoke in his cell after a long nap and checked his PDA for messages. Besides the usual flood of fanmail, hatemail, death threats and SPAM he had no relevant new messages. He logged on to 4chan and spent a few minutes browsing /v/ for any new game releases he might want to download. Then he decided it would be a cool idea to prank the guards. So he logged onto a hookup site and posted the following ad. "Men in uniform seek handsome male partners for a fun filled evening of romance. Interested?" He then posted the address of the prison. Posted the Ad and decided to let hilarity ensue at the main gate. He chuckled to himself at his immature prank

"Look Casimer," Dark Valkyria pointed to a set of playing cards(as in, not children's playing cards.) on the small table between him and Tuck. "The QuEeN of SpAdEs."

"What's that suppose-" Casimer was about to retort to Echo's ridiculous statement, then Tuck cut him off, revealing his hand.

"You Loose!" He chuckled. "Poker just isn't your game, huh?" He scooped up the playing cards.

Dark Valkyria burst with laughter.

"Worry, Not My Lord," Evocator chimed in behind him. "Certainly we'll find a weak point in his strategy!"

Casimer sighed. Sometimes the encouragement from Evocator was just a bit too robust. Poker was a game of luck, not combat. Casimer wasn't on his home field.
--Tuck, while still being a duelist, as terrible at playing Duel monsters, and preferred poker or blackjack to a Duel. In a duel, Casimer was certain to win(Except for that time Tuck summoned 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons on his first turn, and Casimer drew nothing but spell cards and Freed the Matchless general....) On the Flip side, Tuck could play circles around Casimer when it came to card game other than duel monsters.

"So, did you find your mystery woman?" Tuck Inquired, slipping into his bunk.

"Alas..." "Nope" "I don't think so" Replied Evocator, Dark Valkyria, and Casimer respectively.
"I did, however, learn that it was Oscar who got thrashed in the mess hall." Casimer smiled a bit at the thought of Oscar's face upon loosing.

"Oscar? The big guy? Geez, she must be some duelist, then?" Tuck shook his head. To him, women were pretty things incapable of fighting. The idea of a strong, female duelist was foreign to him.

"Probably. Everyone knows Oscar stacks his deck now and then to get the cards he wants, so she was already against an unfair opponent. Then she won, with a self-sacrificing type of deck, apparently." Casimer tried his best to explain the shaky information he received from the random person.

"Ugh, Like Lightsworns?" Tuck and Casimer both hated Lightsworns. Tuck didn't like how they worked. Casimer just...didn't like them.

"No, like sacrificing life points for some effect. Like psychics, although I don't think they were psychics. I don't know exactly how it went. The guy who told me seemed fairly disinterested. We had to clear out for curfew before I could get anything else." Casimer sighed slightly, pulling his covers over his head as he laid down to sleep. "See you tomarrow, hopefully"

"Try not to die in your sleep..." Tuck bid Casimer a good night in his own special way.

"I will return to camp, My Lord, Until next you give me instruction." Evocator nodded, then vanished along with Casimer's conciousness.

In the back of his mind, Casimer could hear Dark Valkyria whisper, "Good Night, Casimer--Sweet dreams." Perhaps the only time she spoke to him softly, and without thorns in her words.

After the customary restless sleep within her cell, Olivia forced her eyes open and stretched her legs. Getting up and leaving her cell, she headed for the library. Taking her time, she made sure to keep her eyes and ears prone for anything of interest. The tournament was still going to happen and any information, whether or not they were baseless rumours, would likely be of some help. Making sure she had her Decks, she headed on her way.

In the library, she headed straight to her "home" corner and grabbed a book full of good ol' Lovecraftian Horrors. Flipping through pages at a blazing speed, she gave the small earpiece a few taps. When a small beep rung in her ear, she whispered, "Hey, Lan. It's me, Olivia. You there?"

Jauger sighed, turning off the disk after it confirmed Lanz's ID and slipped it back into his jacket, then pulling out another cigar. Seems that Lanz didn't simmer down after all.

"Well, you bet correctly Mr. Lanz." he smiled lighting his cigar, "Explaining would be helpful, moreover since you signed the contract."

As Jauger smoked his second cigar, he found Lanz to switch from being an intelligent person to an angry one in moments. Maybe the prison has caused him to have a split personality? Or perhaps he was just a bitter intelligent man all the time.

[Location: Mass Eclipse, Offices]

"I-Into the air-?" Alex gasped out before Feraku picked her up and shot out of the office.

Alex was quite surprised that she could fly so easily while carrying someone, though she didn't have time to marvel at the winged prisoner. At first Alex started to get annoyed that she was being carried by someone, but she had to think of a secluded place to finish the meeting.

"Um..." Alex thought as Feraku was still airborne, "... Let's go to the Impound Lot. No one will be there."

[Location: London]

Astral felt some how at ease with how polite Nera was acting, although he had no idea what cards she was talking about. Prisoners of Eclipse got the cards that they wanted for their deck when they arrive, there shouldn't be cards unknown to the owners. Astral hated that he had no immediate answer, but he didn't want to simply not know, he had to find out for her... somehow.

"That's... quite odd. I'm certain the prisoners request all the cards for their decks," Astral said thoughtfully, "I don't know how you could have gotten cards you didn't request... Would you tell me the names of your cards?"

Searching for the cards and learning how Nera obtained them should be easy, but Astral had a feeling it wouldn't be so simple. He could hear the slight frustration in Nera's voice, it could be because she didn't know why she had the cards, or maybe because she thought she was bugging him...

"... And if you think you're being a bother," Astral smiled, but of course, Nera couldn't see him, "I assure you, you're far from it."

Nos Feraku then nodded and dove toward the Impound lot and landed quietly with elegant grace. After letting Alex go, she sighed and said "I have a severe dislike to these bikes, they tend to be very uncomfortable on my part, so i fly to Turbo Duel... You see my Tailfeathers? Those not only control how fast I fly, but it also shows how many Speed counters I have. But enough talking about me." she let out a little giggle after she said that "Where were we?"

"I'm sure you have better things to do than talk to me, though," Nera replied, though she was relieved that Astral didn't seem busy. "But if you want to help... I can give you some cards to look into particularly." She then proceeded to run through eleven cards in her Endless Frontier deck that she called the 'eleven heroes'. Most of the deck was based around supporting them and their abilities. Of course, her deck only had one of each, even though it'd help alot if she had multiples of certain cards.

There were five Level 4's - Aschen Brödel, Suzuka-Hime, KOS-MOS, Axel Almer, Alfimi. Four Level 5's - Reiji Arisu, Xiaomu, Kaguya Nanbu, Neige Hausen. Two Level 6's - Haken Browning and Aledy Na'ash.

"It's really strange, don't you think?" Nera said after telling Astral about those cards. "I kind of lucked out, since I haven't dueled that much since high school when I learned about Mass Eclipse, and the cards I picked out were probably horrible and outdated," she continued, laughing at her inexperience back then. "I guess I should count my blessings, right? I mean, no strange rumors popped up about me, right?"

It felt good to let that off her chest; after all, one can't just walk up to people and claim that the cards they have aren't theirs, after all. They'd sound like a mad fool! While she still felt bad about not really talking about important stuff, she was thankful to Astral for giving her this chance. She'd have to find some way to repay him... and what better way to do so than to find Pure and shut down Mass Eclipse?

Lanz watched as Mr. Juager put away the brief case once it had confirmed that the identity of the signee was in fact Lanz himself. Once the breif case was tucked away out of sight the man took out a cigar and began smoking it, remarking that he indeed wanted to hear how he had escaped, and looked at him with waiting eyes. Lanz himself was sure that he possibly had puzzled Mr. Jauger with the extremes of his personality. After all anyone would be confused if he had gone from a strong, silent, intellectual man to the type of person who'd rather kill you the second he had a chance than talk about anything. To be honest Lanz himself wasn't sure how or why the "transformations" occured, just that they did at certain times; however he had long sinced figured out at the brink of death he'd always revert to the more cruel version of himself. Having waisted enough time thinking he decided to answer Mr. Jauger and complete the deal.

"Alright I guess I've stalled long enough," he said crossing his arms and lowering his head, the story he was about to tell would get pretty detailed so he knew he'd have to concentrate on each individual detail, "As you are probably aware the prision cells of Mass Eclipse are locked by a personalized twelve digit combination that is personalized for each individual CI officer, guard, whatever. Not only that but once you've entered this code you need the thumb impression of the user passcode you had typed in."

"Well since each guard was changed up at random every shift it'd be impossible for me to memorize any one security guards passcode, am I right?" Lanz let out a small chuckle as he noted the difficulty he had gone through. Once he saw Mr. Juager had no sense of humor for the joke he continued, "Well since I couldn't manually type in a passcode I had to get . . . inventive, you see, there is quite a few things in each shop that could be put together with enough duct tape to successfully hack a cell lock. Once I had my homemade . . . pardon me my "prisionmade" skeleton key all I needed to do was get my hands on an impression of a guard. That was easier that getting the parts for my 'skeleton key', since I didn't have to constantly dodge security cams. Just plain old gum, a heater, and those d*mn plastic trays they give us to eat off of was all I needed to make a thumb impression."

"Prisionmade skeleton key randomized the passcode and the forged thumb impression broke the final 'unbreakable' lock to my cell door. Now would that suffice in explaining how I escaped?"

Nos Feraku waited for Alex to respond to her question, but after minutes of waiting, she started to get bored of waiting. she wanted to do something, but she every time she thought of someting to do, something always blocked it, The concrete floor did not allow her to hunt for the denizens of the underground to eat, she wasn't on her cell, so she couldn't prank the guards. she looked around and sighed, there was nothing to do while here, it had turned out that this meeting to her was a waste of time....

[Location: Mass Eclipse, Impound Lot]

After they set down near the Impound Lot, Alex let out a sigh of relief, she wasn't accustomed to flying. At first she thought she might get airsick, but Alex quickly pushed those thoughts aside. Feraku was getting quite impatient, and the last thing she needed was another escape trick.

"I'll wrap this up then." Alex said moving the collar of her coat down so she could breath without fearing to get sick, also revealing her entire face, "Sign this contract, and by this you promise that you'll take us to the Underworld. Plus you will be free from Mass Eclipse with a clean record."

[Location: London]

Astral quickly wrote down all the cards Nera spoke about, although he had no idea what they were. He knew only a couple hundred cards by memory. But it wasn't anything some research couldn't find. Although it felt like Nera was glad to tell him about her and her cards.

"Very interesting..." Astral trailed off, referring to how she obtained those cards, "I'm not sure, but I'm getting the sense that someone wanted you to have those cards on purpose. However, if nothing strange has happened, I must also assume it might have been an accident. But don't worry, I'll find out for you."

It felt oddly strange to be working with a criminal in Eclipse. But to Astral, Nera wasn't a criminal, or at least, shouldn't be. She was going to help him get to Pure, and he was going to help her however he can. Astral went to his computer at the far end of the hotel's bedroom and switched it on.

[Location: Mass Eclipse, Lighthouse]

Jauger stood still smoking his cigar while listening very closely to how the Ghost escaped. How Lanz did it was very impressive, but now since Jauger has this information, he will use it to his advantage. Although he knew there was more to the story than Lanz let off at, but asking more questions is for another time.

"Okay then," he answered flicking his cigar to the ground before stepping on it, he turned and started to walk away from Lanz, then looked back, "I suppose you might want to enter Eclipse's tournament? If you do, I can arrange for a change of ID for you, but I doubt you'll want the prize now."

[Location: Mass Eclipse]

"Attention citizens! As you may remember, if your smallish brains can remember, our grand tournament was announced yesterday. Well, tonight the first round will take place in the Duel Stadium, I'll announce who's dueling and whatnot later... So carry on citizens."

The speakers arruptedly ended as soon as the Head Warden was done speaking, then the speakers went on again.

"Oh yeah, and for the idiot who tried to get some crazy gay boys here, nice try. If you actually knew where we are. Grah ha ha ha ha ha!"

"Alright then, I'll leave that to you," Nera said, returning the cards back to the deck. "In any case I think I'll - "

Nera stopped due to the blaring speakers, this time giving the prisoners an update about the tournament. As usual the warden was condescending, and it was starting to grate on Nera's nerves. It was short, and it didn't even give her any new information, besides the fact that it was starting today.

"Okay then..." Nera said after the speakers turned off. "Anyway, I - "

Once again, Nera was interrupted mid-speech, with the warden mocking the person who attempted to pull a prank on the guards. She had to wonder though, why crazy gay boys? It was of no consequence, but just to be safe, Nera stayed silent for about 10 seconds after the speakers died again.

"...is that it?" Nera said, sighing. "ANYWAY I'll be going out to the library to check some things out, and hopefully find something out before the tourney starts. I'll keep you posted, though." She said, now on her way out of the cell. "And thanks for looking into those cards for me."

Lanz gota wicked look on his face wen Mr. Jauger said if he'd want to enter the tournament he could, though under a different ID. Shaking his head h held out his hand away from him, ina grand gesture, and began to laugh at bit before replying, "Oh I'll gladly join te fatman's little tourament but I think I'll do it as the 'Ghost of Mass Eclipse' instead of some new guy on the block. I want to see the look on everyone's expression when I destroy the competition . . ."

"So I refuse to change my identity," he continued putting his hands into his pockets, letting the wind billow through his trench coat. Smiling to himself he turned his back to Mr. Jauger and replied before getting read to leave, "Any objections?"

Nos Feraku looked closely at the contract and noticed the thumbprint part of the contract and said "Ah yes, i would really doubt that a thumbprint impression can seal my identity on the contract, but i can tell you a little something..." She said as she signed the contract "My Scar is what would be my fingerprint in the Underworld" she then put her thumb on the Thumbprint registry of the contract "Ah well, a pointless thumb-printing could end my boredom, i have a lot more fun in my cell than out here" she then giggled very softly...

[Location: London]

Astral could faintly hear what was being announced by the Head Warden. He never really liked the man, yes the prisoners in Eclipse were criminals, but that doesn't mean to insult them every chance you get. He thought it rather funny that the Warden kept interrupting Nera, but she finally got out what she wanted to say.

"It's no problem... and be careful Nera." Astral said, doing his best not to sound overly concerned.

[Location: Mass Eclipse, Lighthouse]

Jauger thought Lanz was smarter than this. Apparently not. He sighed and turned to face the ghost and crossed his arms.

"Not that I'd want to spoil your fun, but if you do enter under your 'ghost' title, I won't be able to get you out of here." Jauger said, "Remember, I'm not working with anyone in Mass Eclipse, and if the 'fatman' sees you in the tournament, he'll capture you and most likely execute you. But if you think I'll swoop in and save you with my authority you are sorely mistaken, it wouldn't benefit me in anyway."

He made sure to get his point across, Jauger would keep his promise to get Lanz out of Eclipse, but if he got caught by them, he wouldn't even give more than a second thought. Lanz did his part of the deal, and he's the only person who could screw up his freedom.

[Location: Mass Eclipse, Impound Lot]

Alex smiled, "Well, we know that a thumbprint really means nothing for you, but it's standard procedure."

She closed the small device and slipped it back into her coat. Alex was feeling much better now, so she fixed her collar back up and started walking out of the lot.

"I guess I'll be seeing you later then." Alex said turning back to Feraku, "We'll be here at the end of the tournament. That's when we'll get you out of here, but stay out of trouble, if you get yourself on the execution list we won't get you off."

Lanz listned as Mr. Jauger told him that he wouldn't spoil his fun, a fact he was happy to hear about. Ever since he escaped Lanz had been dreaming about making sure the fatman paid for each second he had spent toiling away for a murder he viewed perfectly justifiable. But when Mr. Jauger mentioned that sighning under the 'ghost' title and was caught there'd be no way for him to escape; he went on further to explain since he didn't work with Mass Eclipse he couldn't use his authority to save him. Laughing Lanz walked over to his duel runner and mounted it, placing the helmet over his head. Stopping he got a wide grin on his face while revving the engine, "Well if I appear in the tournament at all the fatman will realize who I am. Besides I've done all the calculations in my head already. The tournament is going to be viewed by millions of people all across the world so the cameras should keep our 'honorable' fatman on his best behaviour . . ."

"So capturing me and exicuting me wont be possible during the tournament while the cameras are rolling all over the prision," had said that Lanz released the brake and speed off into the night with a final message, "But don't you think it would be the perfect insult to injury that I win the tournament and escape as well?!"

Speeding down the alleyways Lanz's duel runner made even the sharpest turns look like childsplay, managing to even drive horizontal for a couple seconds when possible, and he made it back to his hideout without any delays. Sitting down on his cot Lanz couldn't help think to himself, "Tomorrow I sign up and get back at the fatman for everything I've been put through. Sis . . . I'll show you your older brother can't be pushed around like I used too . . ."

Feraku then said "I kinda knew as much, the voices being carried in the air can tell me a lot" then she sighed about the warning about the Execution "Did my 'public execution' not tell you a lot about myself? it failed for the same reason my blood cannot be tested..." she then grabbed a wood toothpick she got from the mess hall earlier and stuck it in her mouth like a cigarette "And 1 more thing..." she grunted, with the toothpick still in her mouth, "I can tell you that this prison is not deep underground... from the sounds of working above, i believe we're at least 500-1000 feet underground.... The Underworld is much deeper than that"

"You too, Astral. I'll see you later."

With the conversation done, she switched off her communicator. After all, she was already getting strange looks from the other inmates when it looked like she was talking to herself. Fortunately mo one asked about it right now; she'd just have to be careful in the future, that's all.
"Just as expected," Nera said, sighing, while throwing a newspaper into the trash. She was leaving the library... where she learned nothing new outside of a few bits about some of the high-profile duelists who might be in the tournament. Just thinking about how the prisoners are treated as disposable celebrities was enough to turn Nera's stomach. Still, she enjoyed a good sudoku puzzle, so the visit wasn't a complete waste of time.

"Hmm... maybe I can go find that hacker guy..." Nera mumbled to herself as she continued to walk, focused in thought. When she did look up, she noticed that she was not that far from the Duel Stadium; she must have took a wrong turn somewhere. Staring up at the imposing structure, Nera hesitated a moment, trying to decide whether or not to check it out. In the end her curiosity won, and she could be seen briskly walking towards the stadium...

Jauger sighed as Lanz sped off, although he seemed very reckless, he knew what he was doing. Maybe the Warden would do exactly as Lanz said, or maybe he'll be wrong and be shot dead on site. But either way, it hardly mattered to Jauger what happened. All Lanz had to do is show up after the tournament for Jauger to get him out of Eclipse.

"Good luck ghost." Jauger grinned turning and left.

[Location: Mass Eclipse, Impound Lot]

"We know about your 'execution', but this time they might start experimenting with you like a lab rat." Alex said, but was almost unsurprised that she knew how underground Eclipse was, "Well, the Underworld sounds like such a lovely place each time you tell me more about it, I guess you'll have to show it to us sometime."

And with a little laugh, Alex went on her way.

[Location: Mass Eclipse, Duel Stadium]

"Excuse me!" a grand, yet rather high-pitched voice proclaimed behind Nera.

There were three men behind her, but two wore officer uniforms and the other had a long black pea coat with a black fedora as well. But the one in the pea coat was apparently handcuffed, standing next to a young and rather scared looking officer. The other one was walking closer to Nera with a grin that was almost like a sneer.

"I am Ivan Freeman, Mass Eclipse Officer #329, Head of the Incoming Prisoners Escort or IPE." the man said with a forceful bow, he had black hair pulled back with a single strand in front of his face, he wore small and round glasses that rested on the tip of his nose.

Nos Feraku watched as Alex had left the area... After Alex was out of Feraku's Sight, She shot up in the air quietly and gracefully, trying to figure out where her cell is, she was getting tired, and her cell door was closed, so with that, she flew in and landed in an alleyway near the Mess hall, where she turned into a Black Cat, curling up afterward and after looking around a few times, she fell into a very deep sleep
