Lanz speed to his hideout and parked his Duel Runner away from sight. Setting up the sensors around the area he slinged his pack onto a rugged couch before sitting down. Flipping open his PDA he began a network scan of veery computer he had access to in Mass Eclipse, which numbered in the triple digits since he had escaped, and ran a widespan search throughout cyberspace for what he was looking for- his own file. Clicking a few buttons the search came up with nothing . . . they either deleted his file or it was in a computer not connected to the net, "Probably that d*mned fatman took it to her personal computer so no one else could look at it," he thought closing the PDA. Looking up at the starry sky Lanz let out a sigh of releif that he had held in since the excitement had begun; he was thankful things had quieted down. However he knew he couldn't press his luck with this Mr. Jauger and he'd need to send him the information sooner or later . . .

3 Hours Later

Lanz adjusted his PDA so the angle was just right, able to see from his chest up, and took a step back. Sayinga verbal command the PDA responded by sending out a signal to Mr. Jauger's own Duel Runner. Once it was picked up the vidscreen opened up to what the PDA was seeing. A wide grin on his face Lanz nodded his head before begining, "Hello again Mr. Jauger. I'm glad you haven't decided too see how far you could push me by harming Ms. Feraku . . . but all that aside I believe it is time for our face-to-face, in private if you remember me saying so."

Pointing to his right the PDA's camera moved out towards what appeared to be a light house, though no light came form atop it, and then back at Lanz, "A man like you should be able to figure out where I am with just that. I expect you to come alone so we can finally sort all of this out."

The video screen cut off and Lanz took his PDA from the Duel Runner, putting it into his pocket. The wind blew against his back and he drew his coat further up. Lifting his right arm the duel disk weighed slightly on it as he thought about the possible duel to come if things went badly.

Jauger Vis Villion stepped in full view of Lanz, apparently he's been there for some time. There were no other officers with him too, he took a few steps closer to Lanz.

"Sorry, but from now on I'll stay one step ahead of you." he smiled, "I've already tracked your signal since you drove off."

The 51st's technology was the best of the best, there was practically no eletronic device they can't hack or shutdown. And this is precisely what he used to find Lanz and avoid the sensors. Jauger held his hands behind his back, the lighting was dim so part of his face was hidden in shadow. But his eyes seemed to penetrate strait through Lanz.

"Is there some where we can sit?" he asked.

"At least he thinks he tracked me," Lanz thought to himself without smiling in conciet. Truthfully Lanz had kept the ban system which allowed Mr. Jauger to track him, he only turned it off breifly to stop off at his new hideout, and then flicked it back on. Even when Mr. Jauger arrived Lanz had known about it, the sensors had picked him up as he came into range and triangulated his position up until Lanz himself arrived. Now alone with the man who'd been causing him trouble Lanz placed both hands behind his back whilst his 'guest' asked if there was anywhere they could sit, "The ground."

"Or if you'd prefer not to get dirty we can remain standing," he continued, though this time with a grin of self confidence.

"Ha ha ha ha!" Jauger laughed, "Well, it's not like you have anything around that's not dirty. I guess we'll remain standing."

Lanz didn't seem impressed, but Jauger didn't mean to impress prisoners. His goal was to get information.

"I'll just cut to the chase. I would like some information from you, and if you give me it I promise that you will be a free man." he stated.

Jauger stood still and firm, what he promised wasn't a lie. It could be clearly seen in his eyes. But Jauger was ready if Lanz tried to pull anything over him, you can't trick him twice.

Lanz let out a small chuckle and looked at Mr. Jauger while slightly tilting his head. He couldn't believe the audacity of this man. While it is true Lanz was begining to view him more of a nuissance than that of any other CI he had encountered before just imagining how smugg he could be got under his skin; something only a few people could do. Then there was the confidence in his eyes . . . that too annoyed him . . . Lanz had this placed secured by any means he could think of, yet he still looked like a man holding all of the card [s]of a childrens card game[/s]. When Mr. Jauger finally spoke it didn't suprise lanz in the least that what he heard was nothing more than the same old thing he had been repeating since they met, "Really Mr. Jauger . . . I'm begining to think you just might be a f*cking robot since you keep repeating yourself. I said 'quite beating around the bushes' yet all you do is say the same d*mned things over and over agian. Now I'll say this clearly enough that a muscle bound, brain dead, monkey could understand it . . . what kind of information do you want from me?

Nos Feraku giggled and asked "Well then? What did you need to talk about... Another blood test, even after the last one failed to tell you anything? or did you bring me here to waste my time!?". She got a little impatient as she waited, she was a little upset after being given Pure water, which if introduced into her very acidic body, will knock her out, She put one of her legs on top her other leg and crossed her arms, waiting for a response from Alex....

Nera drew her card and stared at it for while. A long while. "What are you doing? Hurry and play your card already!" Oscar said, obviously getting impatient. Nera was looking at her cards, trying to find out the best course of action. Finally, she decided to go for the finishing blow.

"I shift Aschen to Attack Position, and activate Support Attack!" She called out, placing the continuous spell card onto the field. She hesitated for a moment, then decided to use Support Attack's effect during the battle phase. "Aschen attacks!" But before the android could rush the Oscar, the large man played his card.

"Battle Fader!" he yelled, as the monster appeared on the field, It's pendulum swung, marking the end of the battle phase. Nera shook her head... it figured that Oscar would have something up his sleeve. In any case, she could do nothing else this turn. Even so, things looked good for Nera, the crowd was silent and focusing on the duel itself instead of heckling her, and she has many ways to end it in one turn... it's just that the Battle Fader needs to get out of the way. "I end my turn."

"DRAW!!" Oscar said with the same level of vigor he had the entire duel. "I'll crush your robot with this!" he added, slamming his spell card onto the duel disk. The card was Hammer shot, and as expected, the large hammer on the image appeared above Aschen, and struck her, shattering her to pieces. "Now, come, MAJESTIC Mech - SENKU!" Yet another robotic creature was on the field now, this time though, it was Oscar's. "Attack directly, then come back to me!" The machine responded by doing a flip in the air, causing a blade of wind to strike Nera, with herself losing 1200 life. Oscar grinned as he drew his next card. Whatever it was, he seemed pleased with it, as he placed it on the field immediately facedown. "Your fancy cards could never beat me. After all, the only reason I'm even hurt... was due to my own Mist Archfiend! HA!" Oscar said, his laugh being short and to the point. "Take your turn already, and don't waste my time this time."

"Alright, then," Nera said, drawing her next card. Her hand held two monster cards and a spell card. The tools for victory. "I play [!!!]Aledy Na'ash in my spell zone!"

"Hah! I know what you're planning, young girl. I activate Dust Tornado, and destroy your Support Attack!" The muscle-bound martial artist spawned in the spell zone, right as the card next to it was blown to smithereens. Nera smiled widely - He could have blown up either of her monsters, but he destroyed the card that she could easily work around not having.

"I activate [!!!]Battle Start! This allows me to select one of the monsters on the background, and bring them to the fore of the duel. I choose Aledy!" Aledy responded by jumping ahead one space, and took a combat stance. "I then play [!!!]Haken Browning!" One of the central cards to Nera's deck, Haken appeared, this time supporting from the spell zone. "Since Suzuka was able to collect two Frontier Counters, Aledy's attack rises to 2900. And Aledy's attacks pierce defense..."

Oscar still didn't break down, though the crowd was now talking amongst themselves. "It'll take more than that to kill me!" Oscar said, ever defiant.

"Of course. Aledy, attack!" Aledy ran up towards Battle Fader, and as he did, its attack rose another 800, totaling 3700.

"Wha?" Oscar exclaimed, now seeing what was going on. When Aledy attacks, it gains a frontier counter. With the extra one added by Suzuka, that's even more attack power coming from Haken's effect. Aledy's punch caused Battle Fader to explode into light, dropping Oscar's life to 0, and ending the duel.

Nera deactivated her duel disk and ran up to Oscar. "Now, my Duel Tokens?" The people nearby thought it was kind of strange, seeing someone walking up to Oscar and demanding Duel Tokens. Then again, they were of opposite sex, so fighting was strictly prohibited.

Instead, Oscar decided to play it off. "Hahaha! Duel tokens? What are you talking about, woman?"

Nera sighed. "Well, what will people think if this Oscar person doesn't give up his duel tokens if he wins? Think you'd have anyone to play? How will you practice for the tournament?"

"Fine! Take them!" Oscar screamed, tossing her the tokens. They were scattered on the ground, but Nera quickly recovered them. Oscar seemed to almost snarl at her, so Nera decided to hurry out of the area before that happened.

"I'll be leaving now."
Nera sighed once she returned to her cell, just in time for curfew. That duel was difficult, and highlighted some weaknesses in her deck. Even so, there were a few ways she had to cover those weak points and strengthen the deck overall. But that would have to wait for another day; she was so exhausted, that she immediate fell onto her bed and fell immediately asleep.

"Ha ha ha ha! I'm impressed you can speak brain dead-monkey, but there's no need for it Mr. Lanz, I understand English quite well." Jauger smiled, taking out a thick cigar and lighting it, "But sometimes I forget how many times I have to repeat things for the criminals to understand, you wouldn't believe how many times you have to tell them something in order to drill it into their head."

Jauger wanted to make it clear that Lanz wouldn't be able treat him anyway he wanted to, and that the way he treats Vis Villion, is the same way he'll be treated. Lanz was almost too cocky.

"I'm sorry, I'll just get to my point. I want to know how you 'escaped' Mass Eclipse." he said doing the air quotations, "Give me this information and you'll have freedom from Mass Eclipse with no record."

[Location: Mass Eclipse, Unknown Office]

Alex noted that Feraku didn't want to waste her time here for nothing, but she was a better prisoner to have than Lanz, so she was glad for that. She still had a butt kicking waiting for 'the Ghost' after she was done here anyway.

"Don't worry," Alex started gently, "All I need to know from you is where you came from, and if you tell me I am allowed to grant your freedom and a clean record."

Although, Alex herself wasn't sure if it was right to let this woman walk free once telling her where she's from. But she couldn't do anything about it, they were Jauger's orders.

Nos Feraku Closed her eyes, and sighed "I know you cannot do that, you do realize that... The police back at the Underworld used a similar tactic on me when I was accused for crimes I did not do" she said after stroking slightly under Alex's chin, she always loved to humiliate people. She continued "My original nation is out of reach by you and your fellow fatmen, but alas, it's not anywhere in the sky, but deep underground... to me, the residents are normal, but to you guys..." she giggled then laughed "I'm not even going to go there"...

-BTW Alex wears a jacket that covers the bottom half of her face, so Feraku would have to pull down the collar-

Alex brushed Feraku's hand away from her chin, in a mixture of slight surprise and annoyance, but she ignored it and continued.

"I assure you," Alex stated, but of course any prisoner wouldn't trust what an officer says, but Alex ment what she said, they were direct orders, "You will be set free and your record clean. I can pull up a contract that you can sign, or any other proof you want to show you that me deal isn't bogus."

Alex took out a small cylinder object from within her jacket, ready to pull up whatever Feraku wanted to see in order to believe that the contract would be real.

"So is that it?" Lanz asked a bit taken back that everything had simply boiled down to such a simple question. he was possibly expecting something more mysterious, like legends of signers or shadow games, but just 'how did you escape' sounded so dull. Sighing he leaned his head back and returned to all those years ago before he escaped. The plan had been well laid out, taking months to come to fruition, and then the thrill of the escape. Sure it wasn't a thrill then but now that he looked back on it the event was nearly the most exciting part of his life. Breaking away from the past Lanz looked back at Mr. Jauger with serious eyes, "And how do I know you'll keep your word? What guarantee do I have that, once I tell you how I escaped, you wont lock me back up?"

"Also," Lanz continued, "If I do get released and never come back here . . . what do you plan on doing with the information I gave you? You yourself stated you'rn't a part of Mass Eclipse, so what is in it for you?"

Lanz didn't have all the pieces of the puzzel, and the deal was sounding too good to be true, and past experiance has taught him things that look to good to be true . . . generally aren't.

Nos Feraku giggled after Alex brushed her hand away. Feraku put the back of her hand on Alex's Cheek and said "If i were to speak comfortably to people with the gender I am..." she couldn't finish, she instead turned her attention to the cylinder that was the contract and sighed "You do realize if I actually wanted out of here, I would've busted out a long time ago... right?" she said with a very serious tone...

After the duel Robert moved back to his cell and entered the information he had seen into his PDA. As he clicked buttons at a rapid pace he sighed out of boredom setting in again. "That wasn't even that interesting...the only thing that surprised me was that huge idiot lasted more than 10 seconds against her...or maybe she's just not that talented. Either way." Robert finished inputting his information, checked his website for hits. Over 30,000 as usual. He gave a smirk as he was pleased with himself and typed something new into the status feed. "These retarded prison guards and police think they've stopped me. Wrong, my power has only risen with every member added to this site, Government tries to censor me but i am smarter than all of them put together. Will post more leaks soon. -Jester"

"I have a contract with me that you can sign, I can read it out in detail later." Jauger puffed out a bit of smoke from his cigar with a smile, "I promise, you won't be locked up ever again."

Jauger knew that Lanz would want to know why he wants the information. It's true, his part in the Impetus doesn't have to do with the prison itself, he just makes sure that criminals end up there. At least Lanz seemed to simmer down some, which would make him more reasonable. He took another smoke from his cigar and continued.

"Why I want the information and what it's for is none of your concern. You must understand this, yes? I can say that it won't effect you in any way, shape, or form." and with that he pulled out a small and flat circular device, which apparently held the contract.

[Location: Mass Eclipse, Unknown Office]

Alex gave her an odd look as she put her hand on Alex's cheek, but once again, brushed her hand away, a little more forcefully this time. 'She's probably gay. Or just trying to be annoying...' she ignored Feraku's first sentence and went on to answer he question.

"Of course. But you're still implanted with the chip, so the 'fatmen' would still be after you, and you wouldn't have a spotless record if you did break out before." she pointed out, in an equally serrious way, "We would remove the chip and clean your record if you tell me where you come from. Or, you can turn down my offer and we both leave here with nothing."

Nos Feraku sighed and put her hand on Alex's cheek again "I told you, The police of the Underworld tried such things when I was accused for stuff I did not do..." Feraku sighed as she then lowered her hand, willingly this time. She stood up and walked around in the office for a little bit as she spoke again "My original nation is known as the Underworld, but I dare not go back there and face execution, I dare not face the things I have faced when I exiled myself from there". Nos Feraku then started turning into a smaller, younger-looking girl, she still had her red eyes and black scar on her face, but she had black hair wrapped into several ponytails, wearing a scarlet dress, She sat on the floor as she cried.

Listening quietly to Mr. Jauger Lanz as he spoke. A signed document would be a good idea, but he wanted something that no one could dispute of get rid of for him to give up the information he had. And then there was the thought of when he'd get release, Mr. Jauger had never mentioned an exact date . . could be the mmoment he told . . . or it could be ten years down the road. Still too many variables unanswered. Then there was the fact Mr. Jauger wouldn't explain what he planned to do with the information. Lanz had shifted a bit when he brought out what looked like a round brief case, possibly containing the contract which he had spoken of, and Lanz relaxed once more. Standing back up he stared down Mr. Jauger, "When will I be released and what are the chances of me ever coming back here again?"

Jauger knew Lanz was smart enough to find the right questions to ask. He smiled because he saw a little of himself in 'The Ghost'.

"Of course. You will be released when the grand tournament the Head Warden announced is over." Jauger said taking another smoke from his cigar, "It's for security reasons. Remember, I'm not working with Mass Eclipse on this, so I'll have to get you out, then smooth things over later."

This was part of the beauty of his contract. Lanz would be taken away from here, unknown to everyone in Eclipse and only the officers would be told later on. Lanz of course wouldn't say anything about it, if he did, not only the media, but the Impetus would be after him again. Vis Villion was under the same gun as well.

Jauger smiled and flicked his cigar away, "And you'll never see this place again."

[Location: Mass Eclipse, Unknown Office]

Alex had heard some faint rumors about a place Feraku discribed, but the way she told it was that like it was hell. She deffiantly didn't want to go back there.

"Oh my gosh..." Alex gasped not when Feraku broke down crying, but when she turned into a little girl. Did they imprison a small child in this prison? Alex couldn't bare the thought, she immediantly rushed over to confort the little one.

"A-Are you okay?" she didn't put a hand on Feraku, but knelt down to eye level with a tissue in hand.

Nos Feraku looked at Alex as she cried again, she was still in the form she had turned into earlier. Suddenly, she stopped, she picked up something as she sniffed the air, a familiar scent underground, Her nails grew longer and sharper, which she attempted to dig at the ground, but couldn't mar the floor of the office, she twitched, wanting to bolt out of the office to try to dig into the ground again...

Alex saw that Feraku was trying to dig for something under the carpet, which was now getting ruined.

"A-Are you alright?" she said, carefully placing a hand on the little girl's shoulder.

Even though they were getting way off topic, Alex knew it was best to help Feraku with what she needs, and then get some sort of answer from her. Feraku was still sniffing around, almost looking to try to get out of the room to search for whatever. But she didn't have much time, Eclipse would soon be after Feraku anyway.

Whatever Nos Feraku smelled had passed, it had been a very long time since she had some of her favorite food, which is the moles that bury under the ground, but she couldn't get to them due to the concrete floor of the prison. She then said "Nah, it's alright, it's been a long time since I had to hunt to get my food, must've been my instinct", she then sighed as her nails shrunk down to normal. "Now since I had told you... when will I get out of here?... I wanna stay for the tournament though, it sounds very fun"

A heavy, irritable knock came to Casimer's cell door. "Freedom time, General. You and your buddies can go back to your normal lives now." The officer sounded like he just woke up.

"Thank you, sir. It's just me, right now, though, so your soul will have to bear the burden of only freeing one man into the bowls of society's less-than-qualifying masses." Casimer said this casually, wondering where Dark Valkyria had gone off to. The cell door soon opened, revealing a slightly bewildered guardsman. Casimer's poetic prowess must have rendered him speechless.

"Just don't get into any more fights, huh? You're fit, but not fit to take on the brutes here...." Or not....As Casimer passed the man, he muttered something to himself along the lines of wondering why someone like Casimer was in the prison.

At the end of the hall was the door that lead to the corridor that lead to the facility you had to pass through to get to where Casimer's normal cell was. Standing by the door was an esscort-guardsman, and a "bonus" esscort....

"Casimer!" She waved frantically.

Casimer gave a weak smile and returned the wave to his #1 Fangirl. The Guard mistook the wave for being directed at him, and scoffed. It must have been the end of his shift.
-The Guard lead Casimer and Dark Valykira to the holding rooms, where decks and duel disks were kept. He went in, and soon came out with a due disk, and Casimer's...one deck.

"Pardon me, sir. But I should have three decks." Casimer pointed out the obvious fact.

"Reason it took so damn long was cuz, some f***-up newbie lost some of the paperwork. So I don't know which one's yours. We're waving you for now, since its our fault. Better hope you don't get challenged to a turbo duel, pip-squeak...." The guardsman was in a very bad mood. He was probably posted by the door the whole time while the interns scrambled to sort things out, which felt like a pretty long time to Casimer.

Casimer, with one deck in hand, was led down the coridoors and halls which eventually led to his cell, then the guard said something uncalled-for about Casimer's breath and a comparison to fecal matter as he left.

"I bet if I could smell, I would agree with him! You were in there for days!" Dark Valkyria mocked. However her voice was drown out by his cell mate.

"General!" Another fairly small guy, like Casimer, only he was simply small. "Long time no see. Good to know I have an army backing me up again!" He laughed and sat back down on his bunk. Casimer wasn't very close with this cell mate. The one before him had been dueled to a lack of duel tokens.

"Thanks for your loving welcome, Tuck." Casimer sighed and sat on his bunk, then looked toward his cell mate. "What do you know of the female duelists around here?"

"You can't touch 'em, so you're just as likely to get lucky with a man." Tucked made a "Hmph" at that.

"I was looking for information from what I assume to be a knowledgeable source when it comes to women, Tuck. My libido isn't nearly as strong as yours. I was more interested in one of the ladies who might be like my group." Casimer began to change into something different. The orange jumpsuit look seemed to be a perfect replacement for itself.

"Eh, you know I only look at them for their bodies. I guess we got a couple of new babes in when you were out. Why? Finally manning-up and looking for your one true love?" Tuck snickered

"You know me, Tuck, just another hopeless romantic." Casimer said sarcastically. "But seriously, Echo told me one of the big guys I'm after dueled a lady who gave up her tokens to save a man.

"That one's GOT to be made up, Cass...." Tuck shook his head. Next to no one in the entire prison could see Dark Valkyria. Tuck seemed to be very strongly opposed to the existence of Duel Spirits.

"Just wondering, is all. I'm heading toward the mess hall--woman hunting and all." Casimer said sarcastically, checking his Duel tokens and walking out toward the mess hall.

"You know she's probably already gone, Casimer. You shouldn't get your hopes up. Young men like you have their hearts break easily." Dark Valkyria giggled.

"You seem to have little experience in that department, Echo." Casimer retorted. "Alright," He continued, pulling up his deck, "Who do we have here?"

As he walked, he was joined by two Marauding captains--his [Ineffectual] bodyguards. A multitude of other voices sounded off, including Freed and Evocator.

"It is good to have you back on the field, Sir. Shall we set forth into our impure foes and lay them asunder?" Evocator seemed ready to go.

"Good to have you back, boy. Unfortunate your potential is with the other decks, but good practice for a young mind." Freed welcomed Casimer back.

"Seems like my key soldiers are here. Lets head out. I'm looking for a woman who recently dueled one of the targets." Casimer spoke to the spirits while receiving many strange looks from the people around him. He had a reputation of being crazy, but that didn't stop people from looking at him like he was a wacko. "Last dueled in the mess hall."

"Friend of Foe, my Lord?"

"I don't know...most likely a tentative ally. Regardless, a lady--we treat her with respect." Casimer had still been born and raised a prince of New Domino's tops, he wasn't about to break social etiquette.

"Of course, My Lord!" Casimer grinned as Evocator responded. It sounded like Evocator was excited to have his general back. Afterall, a Knight cannot move forward into battle without his general's order. Evocator must have gotten restless. As a matter of fact, Casimer was feeling slightly restless himself. He grinned at the prospect of finding a weakened opponent, ready to be subdued and taken from a place where they could harm others.
-Of course, Casimer's ultimate goal was to find the woman Dark Valkyria had told him about. He didn't know her name, but Dark Valkyria would know what she looked like. In that case, it was simply a matter of walking up to every woman he met:

"Hello, Miss. My name is Casimer. I just wanted to say hello..." He would say, offering his hand to shake, to every lady he did not recognize. He was pretty sure Dark Valkyria would scream in his ear once he'd found the right one.

Lanz of course wouldn't say anything about it, if he did, not only the media, but the Impetus would be after him again. Vis Villion was under the same gun as well.

Jauger smiled and flicked his cigar away, "And you'll never see this place again."

"And if I were to participate in the tournament?" Lanz would've liked to ask, but deep down, he had already figured out the answer. Once Mr. Juager had explained that he'd be taken out in secret he'd never come back here again, so if he DID make an appearance before that there was a good reason to believe he'd never escape. Mulling this over in his head Lanz began to come up with an idea that would leave him holding all the cards [s]of a childrens game[/s]. If he went 'undercover' in the tournament and won it he'd possibly not only come out with the tournament's grand prize but his own freedom, that is if Mr. Juager over there kept his end of the deal; in fact it might not be a bad idea to have a back up plan in case he didn't. Sighing Lanz finally answered, "Very well . . . if you can guarentee my escape from this place a clean slate, and the absolute affirmation that I will never return . . . I accept."

"...Failure to comply with these rules will result in execution or solitary confinement for a number of days issued by the warden."

Nera groaned as she awoke to the sound of rules being read through the loudspeaker, no doubt in order to pacify the prisoners by drilling them into their heads every single day. She would not allow herself to fall into that trap, however. Today, her morning rituals went off without a hitch since no guards suddenly appeared in her cell to take her away today. On top of it all Nera felt completely reinvigorated. After all, she got assistance from someone 'pretty high up' in Celestial Impetus.

Speaking of Astral, Nera hasn't tried contacting him using the earpiece he gave her. Sitting back down on the bed, she recalled the instructions to use the earpiece. Press twice, then hold for two seconds. After doing so, Nera didn't hear anything different immediately, so she just decided to start talking.

"Hello? Anyone in there? Come on, don't be shy, talk to me!"

Jauger felt great since he had power over Lanz, well, some power. But he wasn't one to throw his weight around. Jauger knew information is power, depending on what kind of information you have. With Lanz's escape, he could use it to his advantage.

"Alright." Jauger said simply.

Activating the cylinder device which showed a hologram of a contract, filled with words and two blank lines at the bottom with boxes next to them. Jauger slipped off his right glove and signed the hologram, then pressed his thumb against the box, apparently, an ID scanner.

"After you sign, you can tell me your 'disappearing act.'"

Alex smirked, thinking of the damage Feraku caused to the floor of whoever was unfortunate enough to have this office. It was odd how she acted, it was almost animal-like. For all she knew Feraku could be a shapeshifting animal. But that wasn't what Alex need to learn.

"Okay, but first, can you tell me where exactly is this Underworld is?" she asked.

Alex wasn't sure why Feraku was so comfortable now, whether it was because of her or something else was unknown.

[Location: London]

Astral stepped foot in London late last night. He felt it best to go back home for some 'fresh air', even though London's air this time of year was very cold and nippy. But he loved the cold. Astral got a room in a luxurious hotel in the city, of course, he gets first class of everything since he's the leader of the Impetus. He immediately went to sleep as soon as he got to his room, but a beeping noise woke him up then stopped.

A familiar voice then broke the silence, "Hello? Anyone in there? Come on, don't be shy, talk to me!"

He knew who it was when she said 'Come on, don't be shy, talk to me!', with a tired smile he quickly picked up the earpiece and spoke.

"Good morning Nera." Astral greeted, trying his best not to sound tired at all.

"Good morning!" Nera replied instinctively. At the very least she now knew that she could communicate with Astral from her cell; and presumably from other places in Mass Eclipse as well. She also learned that Astral apparently can hear her call. She didn't get to see his counterpart device, but if it was anything like her earpiece, perhaps she could similarly hear her call. Nera also just used a secret communication line to wish someone a good morning. She did not know what to think of that.

"Am I interrupting anything? You sound preoccupied," Nera continued, not wanting to tell Astral that she was just testing the devices. "I can call you later if you want." Nera barely held in a chuckle at that statement... at the whole conversation really. It sounded nothing like what she imagined a top secret conversation would be like.
