[spoiler=My Comments]Lord of the BoneyardLV 8 DARK Fiend Effect 2800/200This card cannot be Special Summon. Once per turn, you can remove from play any number of cards in your Graveyard to destroy cards equal to the number of cards removed from play by this effect. Okay, so this is the typical “u-cant-SS-me-lololol” card with a ridiculously OP effect. The monster here is a trade-in-able monster from Jazin Kay’s Archives, with a tremendous field nuker. As much as I know the “u-cant-SS-me-lololol” effect makes most things balanced, that isn’t the case here. You know, the field nuker isn’t even ridiculous; it’s now at official no-no level. The best destroyah cards out there are said to be JD, DAD, Scrap Dragon, BRD, etc. Of those, BRD/JD has to nuke everything regardless of field, and DAD can only activate a limited number of times, while Scrap Dragon has to sacrifice something. It’s bannable offense. I did say that the card can be OP; but this is jut out of the question. When I say OP, I mean the level of the cards stated above, not Makyura. Overall 6/10, it’s not really unique either. Sorry. Zombie PossumLV 4 DARK Zombie Effect 1800/1000If this face up attack position card would be destroyed in battle, you can flip it into face down defense position to negate the attacking monsters attack. When this face down defense position monster is destroyed, select 1 monster in your deck with 1000 DEF or less and set it on the field. Then, shuffle all set monsters on your side of the field. Well, this is one weird effect. It can Black Stego, and…wait. Wait. Wait! Wait! WAIT! The search thing is ridiculous. Dandylion, Ryko, Darksoul, the numbers are countless. It can be stapled in ANY deck. Really, any deck. It should be limited. 8/10.Sub-Terra AndroidLV 8 WATER Machine 2000/2600This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except from your hand or Graveyard when a level 4 or lower WATER or Machine-Type monster you control is destroyed by battle. When this card is Special Summoned, end the current Battle Phase. Once per turn at the start of your Main Phase 1, you can downgrade the level of this card by up to 5 stars and Special Summon 1 WATER or Machine-type monster from your Deck whose level is equal to the amount of stars downgraded. This is treated as a Normal Summon. That monster's effect(s) are negated. Unique. The first thing I thought. The SS-ing conditions are bland, but the Battle Fader mounted on a LV 8 monster is nice. It can also be M-Fortressed. The searching effect is nice. By pulling a tuner it can immediately Synchro LV 8 or 9 (using Level Stealer), and fast-sync is a nice thing these days. It’s not balanced, of course; neither is it too overpowered. 8/10. Aid SpriteLV 3 LIGHT Fairy Union 100/100Lore: Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if you control this monster on the field, you can equip it to a monster as an Equip Spell Card, OR change it back to a monster in face-up Attack Position. When equipped to a monster by this card's effect, that monster gains ATK equal to half the original ATK of an opponent's monster it is battling until the End Phase of that turn. (1 monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the monster that this card is equipped to is destroyed, this card is destroyed instead.) Ah, Unions. I love Unions. Just, in this card’s case…I was expecting it to be more. When making cards, it’s a good idea to think based on existing ones. Metalmorph can be compared in this situation. Metalmorph-(Pros) Can +300 too and flip against opponent attacks (Cons) SlowAid Sprite-(Pros) Fairy and LIGHT, searchable (Cons) Slower I would choose Metalmorph over this in most situations, and that card is terrible. So therefore, I believe it should increase by 1500 or something. Right now, sorry, 7/10. Dimensional ThiefLV 3 DARK Fiend 1000/500You can remove from play this card in your Graveyard to negate the activation of an opponent's Spell or Trap card and remove it from play. While this card is removed from play you can remove from play 2 monsters in your Graveyard to return this card to your Graveyard. Is it just me who remembers Demonata Book II…? Anyways, the card activates in the Graveyard, and it’s DARK, which is quite awesome. As can be seen from my Killer Tomato avatar I love DARKs. The effect is SO lovable. It can remove itself from the Grave to be a one-time Shien. And when it’s RFP’ed, you can remove the typical used-up Malicious and stuff to recycle. Not only that, it can set up the fertile grounds for a landing DAD. Nice. I personally think this is SO awesome. 9/10. Dark Magician of ChaosLV 6 DARK Spellcaster /Effect/ 2300/ 1100If you tribute Summon this card, the tributes must be DARK monsters. During your opponents Battle Phase, you can remove 1 DARK monster from play to remove from play this card until the End Phase. Well, the latter is, quite unoriginal. Many card makers have made this and Red-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Neither one is quite good, and being based on Dark Magician Girl it must suck at game. It’s the same here. And in this case, both effects are terrible. I can’t find a single reason to run this over Caius in any deck at all. No offense, 6/10.Demise HarrowerLV 6 DARK Zombie Synchro 2300/2000Lore - 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monstersWhen this card destroys an opponents monster place 1 Demise Counter on this card (Max.3). This card gains 200 ATK and DEF for each Demise Counter on it. Once per turn, you can remove 1 Demise Counter from this card to destroy 1 card on the field. The card is a LV 6 generic Synchro, which means it has a rival named Goyo. ...Hell, this can confront it head-on. It has the sucking ATK of Brionac, which is far from good. But its effect is awesome. Everyone here knows no one would be as stupid as to leave the Demise Counters on. All would be used for free +1’s from all around the field! Even Goyo can’t do that, eh? The latter is, though uncreative, the exact thing I wanted to see from here. 9/10. Ice Dragon SpiritLV 4 WATER Dragon Spirit 1950/1200Lore: This card cannot be Special Summoned or Set. This card returns to the Owner's Hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned or Flipped Face-up. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, destroy 1 card on the Field. Ah, Spirits. I personally love Spirits. Problem: they suck with the exception of Yata, Tsukuyomi, and Asura. Well, in this case, the latter is a LV 4 beatstick with 1950 ATK. That can beat most ATK-position things of the same level. It also destroys anything by inflicting battle damage. This is awesome. It -2’s every turn. If it can’t, you can just keep it in your hand. Though being WATER doesn’t exactly help it, it’s great support for many decks. 8/10. A bit too OP, maybe…Orochi CronosLV 5 DARK Sea Serpent Effect 2000/1800As long as this card remains face up on the field, all Dark monsters on the field gain 300 ATK. If this card is sent to the graveyard by a card effect, destroy 1 card on the field. If this card is Special Summoned, draw 1 card. Well, this isn’t exactly what you’d use in any deck. It’s LV 5, meaning it can be used with PSZ for BRS, but still it has to be like Cydra, with a SS effect. As it turns out, this doesn’t. 2300 ATK sucks for a tribute-fodder. The chances it gets sent to the Graveyard by a card effect are slim, as most things with that power would just go attack it. Only idiots or people with dead graves would SS it with anything, so its draw power would never be used. If it had Cydra it would have been great. As of now, Caius is a thousand times better. 6/10. Sorry.Tormented Shinobi – Ball’MiraLV 10 DARK Fiend 0/0This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card cannot be affected by card effects while it is in the Graveyard or while removed from Play. You can reveal this card in your hand to negate the effect of 1 effect monster and return it to its owner's hand, this effect cannot be negated. If you do, you take damage equal to the ATK or DEF of the target monster whichever is highest. Remove this card from Play during the 3rd Standby Phase after this card was first revealed in your hand. Unique. It can’t be summoned. And well, it can’t be affected by card effects. It can also be revealed from your hand to negate 1 effect monster and PenSol it. Then it takes damage. A lot of damage. And, to stop abuse, it RFPs itself after 3 turns. Quite an interesting card…use with Prime Material Dragon for an invincible field, since it negates effect monsters without the dreaded u-can-only-use-me-once-per-turn-lololol clause. I like this. Though most decks wouldn’t run this, some would. And those who do would be hilarious. Nice idea, 9/10. And I see what? Dimensional Thief, Demise Harrower, and Ball’Mira are left in the 9/10 zone. I love newbs. Well, it’s a very tough choice indeed. I would love to give 6 reps to all, but that just doesn’t make it fair. Of all, I choose Ball’Mira as ultimate winner. It was its unique effect that gave it victory. Demise Harrower is second, I love it. Dimensional Thief is a close third. I will follow the tournament rules and give Ball’Mira’s creator the 6 reps and 300 points. But since I’m both feeling charitable and in a state of trauma, I guess I’ll give 1 rep and 200 points each to the other two too. Thanks, everyone. Sorry for the delay.
