Hello everyone, I'm Yggdra. LOL it took me like 4-5 days to realize that I had an email to confirm my email address, so I was a Validating member for a bit. So yeah, now I'm an official member and I hope to have a good experience here. :)

I suspect more than 80% of new members do not know about their validation email, meaning that they never come back. And some turn on there Facebook feed, so that they spam the status bar with Facebook Updates unintentionally.

OMG, a new member who figured out how to fix the validation problem on their own...I'm impressed, even though it took a few days. Anyway, I'm FTW, or you can call me Wynn as some people such as Mako do. Read the rules, don't do anything stupid and enjoy your stay here ^^ If you have a question or you're just looking for someone to talk to, I'm usually skulking around somewhere and I will reply as fast as possible.

LMAO, are you serious that many people never found their validation email? XD

 

I was told that I recieved one, but I couldn't find it so I thought something went wrong. After that, I skimmed through some stuff and found that it was lying in the junk mail section. So yeah, I found it and here I am. And it took me a few days or so because I was busy with other stuff as well. :(

Hey, don't be down on yourself. I was able to know about it immediately even though it took a little while to send. But when I changed my email, it just wouldn't validate, so I had to ask a mod.

Most new members who don't finish validation immediately tend to just leave and/or spam the status bar with Twitter or Facebook posts. I would say 90% of all members that join don't stay more than 2 or 3 days max.

Wow. Well anyways, I'ma make myself at home. Hmm, there's a lot of forums here, lots of members (although the majority of members here are inactive), the card maker, the points system, and other stuff. :D

 

Right now, I just wonder if I actually know someone here. Just a thought but would be suprising if I encountered a familiar face from another site.

Well, you might. It really depends on what other sites you go to or used to inhabit. I can honestly say you don't know me because this is the only forum I'm on at the moment.

Ahh I see. Well, I'm not big on RPs (not one of my fortes) but there are plenty of members on here who RP. I do love to play games though. There are many active RPers here, so feel free to talk to them.

Cool. Well I do have a site with RPing as one of the main activities...but the RPs there are pretty much dead and not to mention that members have left the place and my RPing skills are getting rusty. But still, RPing's not the only fun thing to do. I love video games, including Jap games. Although I do play non Jap games as well and I've recently taken a liking to the CoD series.

Well, I know for a fact that Mako loves the Halo series and I play both Halo and CoD when I'm at home (I'm in college and live on campus without video games :()

Modern Warfare, MW2 and Black Ops actually, and I've beaten story mode in all of them. MW2 is my fave of the bunch.
