Oh, my Thanksgiving was earlier so I do celebrate it but it's too late for now. But happy Thanksgiving to whoever here that is in the U.S. that celebrates it, and yeah. happy November to others, I guess.

I dunno, I wasn't. I was kind of going to, but even if it's not that related I didn't watch the original so I just kind of didn't.

Ah, I would watch the original but skip over AO, it was kinda......
Well the best way to describe it would be to say it felt like it was gonna be a 50 episode series and people bitching about it made them cut it into a 24 episode series where they jammed as much as they could into the last 2 episodes
But the original Eureka 7 is easily one of my favorite animes, right next to code geass. In fact I watched Code geass because of Eureka 7

But anywho, Ive been thinking about how to possibly get people involved again and what would you guys (Whoever happens to respond in the next week) think of adding like Top ten lists made from your choices or create a code geass based card compitions? I just dont think a RP is possible at this point, not enough active people and not enough people in general to host one but we still need somthing to do. Its less than a month before the clubs 2nd annaversary and it would be nice to have some activity :)

I don't really know about cards, anytime I try to make some it just doesn't interest me as much as it used to and give up after a few.

What kind of top ten lists? Wait, made from our choices as in we would choose that?

yeah top 10s like, for example
I say top ten Knightmare Frames or have one of you pick a top ten
I have you guys send in your top 3-5 picks in order via pm to me or somthing so its a surprise to everyone else
Id make some sorta grading scale and then make a post with the top ten with pictures and breif descriptions of Knightmares - all fancy and such.

Know what
I'll come back.
It's been a while, Black Knights!

I've been meaning to watch Eureka 7. I think what I might do is wait to see if AO gets a dub and wait for that to finish before watching it all.
And if not, I'll just bite the bullet next chance I get and watch them.

As for Akito the Exiled, that was pimp. Akito's a badass, taking on a Knightmare all by his lonesome. Can't wait for the next one.
Does anyone know when it takes place though? Or was that what you were saying took place between R1 and R2?

Yeah it was me, Im like 90% sure it takes place after R1 and before/during R2.

And Happy Birthday!
To who you might ask?
Lelouch of course!
I dont know why I know that but its lelouch's birthday today.
Oh and I found this, thought some of you would find it amusing

Off Topic: Right now I'm a huge fan of Sword Art Online. Love the story, and the characters are great.

On Topic: I may have to watch Eureka 7.
Off Topic: Oh my gah oh my gah me too.

On Topic: Yeah, I'm just not feeling it. I'm not that much of a mecha fan anyway. Code Geass is an exception.

Fair enough, Id say its more about love/family than mecha but that could be a even bigger turn off, its definatly not without flaws but its still pretty wonderful in my opinion, the OST alone is pretty amazing, id dare say it overall trumps the code geass OST so id check it out, just watch out for some of those techno/trance tracks.... they... are wierd...
Im probably VERY biased as this was my 'Gateway anime'. Anyway, this is a clip that shows off some of the music and fighting if anyones interested.
It has some spoilers but oh well.

So im gonna watch Sword art online pretty soon, should i wait for this 1st season to finish or just start?

SAO will finish in 2 episodes so by all means go ahead. If you catch up before it finishes it'll probably only have 1 left, I'd think. Yeah I can definitely see it getting a second season. Leaving too soon to check out that video but I'll sure watch it.

Code Geass might have been my gateway anime, depending on the definition.
I watched DBZ and Pokemon as a kid, but I didn't think much about anime as a whole until I came to YCM and heard about other titles. In which case, Code Geass was the first time I watched something that wasn't technically mainstream and that was what led me to seeing a whole other bunch of anime up until today.

And yeah, SAO's a solidly decent show. Not perfect by any means, but still a fun romp.

Code Geass is mainstream in terms of anime, you rascal. DBZ and Pokémon are mainstream in general, but if it has an English dub, two seasons and then some, it's mainstream or was at some point. You're probably meaning it was the first anime you had to look for yourself, which made you realize how much you enjoy watching anime, prompting you to continue. Especially after you realize how many more anime there are you never heard about until starting to watch anime online.
