Let's Play Metroid Other M

Black Metal

Well, it's your first, so I'll be (as) kind (as possible).

Talking during cut scenes should be kept to a minimum, for atmosphere. Especially during the intro! And shouting (except from anger maybe, because it reflects your emotion) or SINGING, especially like that, is an absolute no-go.
The video quality is... meh, but I've seen worse. It's not that I could say how to improve it, I have no experience on that regard.
The audio quality is... the same. I guess you're hitting the microphone with something (your chin or whatever) pretty often, you should try to keep that under control.

A "Let's Play" should be about the game. About what you feel when you play it, what your thoughts are and why you're doing what you're doing. Sometimes it has a little review feeling to it, sometimes more this "blind" feeling, which I like especially. Yours... has nothing of that. During the intro you're talking about stuff that's... so boring... I want to hear what you think about the game, not about your recording, your bathroom... or whatever you're talking about there. I already forgot.

When you do a Let's Play with a second commentator, make sure he or she is just not sitting there, watching you, but playing with (or against) you or at least saying something that reflects on the game... it just seems out of place.

Spoilering things that happen later in the game (be it gameplay-wise or story-wise) is also an absolute no-go. Taking out cutscenes... I personally hate that, because I take Let's Plays as a possibility to experience games where I don't have the console for, so I want to gain as much of an experience as I can get. However, you can do that, but I don't particularly like it. Also, either do it all the time, or don't do it at all. Since you're commenting over everything Samus says, it's probably a waste of time to leave them in.

Another thing: You. Are. Not. Funny. Humour is a matter of opinion, but I don't think anybody could laugh about that dice joke

The truth is: I'm currently watching an LP of Metroid Other M (a german one though), and it has everything in it: Humour, a lot of insight on the player's thoughts (especially because it's played completely blind), great audio and video quality and, most importantly, someone where I feel way more comfortable watching and listening to. Seriously, saying "dude" every second sentence may sound cool with the younger audiences, but I found it to be pretty horrible and annoying. Of course, that may be because I'm friggin old by the standards of this forum (21), but it's still a nuisance to me.

Still, for a very first try, I have seen worse. Grow up a little (don't take it personally), improve on the technical side... and yeah, just keep going, I guess the rest will come with age :P

Honestly I don't really care. Me and my friend does and makes what we want. We act stupid, we act random, we do it for fun, and we don't care about haters and what they say (not you).

If you don't care what other people think... why are you posting it here again?
