Appearance: A young woman appearing to be 17 with an uncanny resemblance to Akiza Izinski in both facial configuration, hair color, eye color, and build, but she insists that she isn't. To prove so, her hair is spiked back like a punk rocker instead of having Akiza's usual hair style, though she kept the bangs, and her hair is dyed pink with black and white streaks. Her uniform, which is now black and blue instead of white and blue, has been modified within reason, with white stockings that go up to the second white and black plaid skirt she wears underneath her uniform's skirt. She has black gloves and all sorts of chains and bracelets on her wrists, and she is wearing a short-sleeved form-fitting white tank top underneath her uniform's top. She also wears black eyeliner and black lipstick, and carries an black and white electric guitar that can change into a Duel Disk.

Bio: Aki Ross is actually Rayos' companion, and is really a dueling robot that finally got her wish to become human. However, it is getting harder and harder for Aki to pass off as 17, so she is trying to find a way to become immortal like her boyfriend, so they can be together forever. She recently heard of strange goings-on at Duel Academy, so she has been here for the past year, trying to solve the mystery of the "Capturer", thinking that it might be an old friend from her past that can give her immortality. In her tenure, she has become the school's "Duel Queen" in the process, and in order to maintain appearances, comes off as a bully who dominates the school with her Blackhearts, a gang of students who band together, no matter what their Dorm, and are known for having black as their uniform's primary color, and their dorm color as the secondary. However, behind closed doors, when she is all alone with her crew or Rayos, she really is a nice person, and so are the other Blackhearts. They only seem tough because they would be eaten alive by the other factions in the student body if they weren't. The Blackhearts, ironically, do all sorts of nice things to improve campus life, like hold concerts for Attack Position, Aki's tribute band to alternative rock, and randomly drop packs for younger students. She is settled into school life, but she still wants to be immortal with her love.

Name: Israfel "Izzy" Ishtar
Gender: Male
Appearance: Izzy is a very strange young man of about 18. He has tan skin, pale-blonde hair, purple eyes, and black markings around his eyes. He dresses in a black sleeveless version of the Ra Yellow uniform, but he adds various Egyptian-themed trinkets and jewelry to it. He also has a lot of tattoos, including a Millennium Eye on each shoulder. His tattoos also seem to have inscriptions on them, as if they were infused with some sort of magical spells.

Bio: Izzy is Aki's loyal second-in-command of the Blackhearts, and assistant to Rayos. He also provides the male vocals for Attack Position, Aki's band. He is actually the youngest son of Marik Ishtar, but he refuses to acknowledge the connection, and doesn't speak of it. He knows Aki's secret, and will guard it until the end. He has two Duel Monster Spirits: Gravekeeper's Descendant, the card representation of an aspect of himself, and Gravekeeper's Priestess, which is actually infused with the spirit of his deceased aunt, Ishizu. Eventually, once he accepts his heritage, his Duel Monster Spirit will evolve into Gravekeeper's Visionary, which contains the collective power and consciousness of all past Gravekeeper clan leaders.
