Approximately 30 years after the events of 5D's, a different breed of dueling has swept the world. The duelist themselves are different too, no longer the cliche wanna-be's or punk champs. They are the world's high-class criminals. And they duel to survive the underground prison-city; Mass Eclipse, which is overseen by the near worldwide keepers of law and order, The Celestial Impetus.

The Celestial Impetus is like Interpol, but larger and more 'efficient', so they say. Their main and largest base is in Europe, where it was founded. The leader of The Celestial Impetus is a person by the name of Pure. No one knows Pure's whereabouts or if the person even exists, and only a handful of very high ranking CI officers have information about Pure. Rumors have been floating around about the famed leader, some say that Pure was a man who was thrown into Mass Eclipse once a new leader took over, others say that Pure is just a story CI started for a legendary ideal leader. But right now, the leader of The Celestial Impetus is a man by the name of Astral.

Mass Eclipse is a giant underground city and is the world's largest prison, it's location is kept top secret from the public. Once the Celestial Impetus convict the prisoners for their crimes, they arrive from airships from different countries around the world. Inside Mass Eclipse is like a grand futuristic city, there are theaters and libraries, but the pleasantries only last with the views. The cells are always kept neat and in order, and the food is the necessary protein and vitamins that a human needs, with little flavor. The prisoners are allowed to roam Mass Eclipse, but are chipped, so the CI knows their every location. Mass Eclipse holds both male and female criminals, they are allowed to commune and nothing else, and the prison has two sides of cell blocks for the different genders. There is also a massive duel stadium which can hold all of the prisoners and has it's own Turbo Duel course.

The prisoners are not divided by their crimes, all criminals are treated the same and put in the same living quarters, except for a few cases of mental illnesses in which they are put into solitary confinement cells, other wise known as "Holes". There have been few prison riots at Eclipse, the latest one happened five months ago, when a group of prisoners tried to escape. But it resulted in almost everyone connected to the plot to be executed immediately and publicly.

Prisoners in Mass Eclipse are required to participate in duel tournaments or face execution. They are taught how to duel as soon as they arrive, sometimes on the airships on the way to Mass Eclipse, and provided three decks made up of cards they choose. Two normal, and one Turbo Deck. Mass Eclipse hosts tournaments every now and then that a couple of randomly selected prisoners have to compete in. Tournaments vary, from normal duel tournaments, to tag duels, and Turbo Duels. The prison tournaments are broadcasted live each week (or month) around the world as adult entertainment. It is the most watched show in the world, and translated into various languages.

Also, prisoners can challenge each other outside of tournament dueling, they decided whether to bet Duel Tokens or not. These duels are rarely broadcasted, unless a famous prisoner is dueling.

There is a catch to all this dueling. For one, new prisoners that have just arrived are given 3 Duel Tokens. Duel Tokens are won and lost through dueling (no surprise), depending on how much each duelist wagers. Winning a Prison Tournament usually gets you 15 to 20 DT's. But if a prisoner loses all of their DT's they are executed usually a few hours later, but in some occasions, they are executed on the spot by a mysterious toxic injection. Executions take place no matter what the crime or criminal, from theft to murder, no exceptions.

Rumors of a new tournament approaching have become the talk of the prisoners of Mass Eclipse. The Game King Tournament. They say that it will feature top-notch duelist from around the globe to duel along with the highest ranking prisoners of Mass Eclipse to become the world's number one duelist and the title of King of Games. They also say that if a prisoner wins, he or she will be released from Mass Eclipse with no record. The more and more people talk about it, the less and less it seems like a rumor at all...


So, you are one of these criminals, it's up to you what happens. You can try to escape, try to kill off the rest of the criminals here, or become the fan-favorite criminal of the world. Make friends, enemies, backstab, secret alliances, or try to make a deal with The Celestial Impetus. The road won't be easy, and the choice is yours.

[b]Bio/Personality:[/b] Jauger Vis Villion is Astral's advisor and third in command of The Celestial Impetus. Jauger Vis Villion has been apart of the CI since it began years back. He was great at his tactics for catching criminals and low-lives around the world and is well known to criminals everywhere. A great deal of prisoners in Mass Eclipse are there because of Jauger.

Jauger was in line for taking over The Impetus, but after the fifth leader stepped down, Pure was put instead of Jauger. No one can say for sure if Jauger had a grudge against Pure for taking his position, but since Pure dissapeared he hasn't complained. Until the position was yet again taken by someone else; Astral Phoenix. Some say Vis Villion has given up on becoming The Impetus leader and is planning to retire soon.

Jauger is a man boasting with power, not only from his physic, but from his attitude also. When annoyed, he doesn't go balistic, as one would first assume, he usually just smiles and speaks softly, with a hint of menance. Sometimes it's hard to tell whether Jauger's angry or not.

[b]Bio/Personality:[/b] Alex comes from a law academy in America, and has been in The Impetus for 7 years now. She has been working under Jauger's command ever since she was promoted to captain of the 51st Legion. Jauger Vis Villion spotted her passion and strength while she was in the Celestial Academy, and after adding her to the 51st Legion, she quickly gained rank. Alex's family was killed by a mysteriously unknown mafia, and she vowed to see every member brought to justice, but she never was able to find the group, and is still searching for them.

Alex is a strong-will woman, even arrogant. Both her piers and criminals alike have a grudging respect/fear for her. She carries a whip with her, and doesn't think twice for using it on a slack-jawed person.

Ever hear the expression "born bad"? It has been used to describe everyone from famous killers to the punk kid down the street by the daughter's cautious father. Well Lenz qualifies as that punk kid from down the street, though at the begining he wasn't such a bad guy at all. A normal kid like anyone else his age Lanz was a son, brother, student and well gifted duelist in his small town home. With no father and a mother constantly at work to pay off his sickly younger sister's medication. With his sisters illness having returned after doctors stated that it had completely recceded, there was no money for an effective treatment. However there was one group willing to fianance the sessions, a dark and shady group of course but natrually they wanted something- what shady group of folks don't?

In order to pay for his sister's treatments Lanz had to pay the debt off by doing "part time jobs" and did this without hesitation. For two years, from age 13 to 15, he worked diligently doing whatever he was told and did it well; accomplishing everything from 'Forgery' to 'Assault'. The only thing driving Lanz though was his desire to see his younger sister, who had been sent away for treatment by overseas perfessionals, and was always denied while being told "the medication causes her to be weary all the time, best not bother her." This continued unbelievably for four more years, each passing year causing Lanz to get more and more pressing with his requests to hear from his sister and mother; which, by the way, had been sent over with his sister as well. All the while he was told she was being given the best medical treatment in the world.

LIES! It was ALL LIES!!!

They had never truly meant to take care of his little sister. Instead Lanz had learned, by way of a guilt stricken nurse, that the men he had been working for had paid them only to keep her alive and not to actually treat her; thus extending his servitude. He heard from the nurse herself that his baby sister was only a town away and had died two years ago, when he was 17, and had requested to see him up until the moment she passed. Just as devistating was the knowledge that his mother had been in an "accident" which also claimed HER life. How ridiculous! How can anybody believe that she merely had fallen off of a roof only to plumet to her death on the cold concrete below! It infuriated him so much all he could do was think about revenge . . .

And during a cold winters night he would attempt to get his revenge on the men who'd stolen his mother and sister away from him. During that night, when the wind bite at his nose, Lanz snuck back into the headquarters of his former employeers and made a lunge to kill them in their sleep. Yet, as fate would have it, he failed and was nearly beaten to death with a crow bar; the leaders of the orginization having learned of the preemptive assassination attempt. The beating mixed with the loss of his entire family must've caused something to snap deep within Lanz and, only a week after waking up and no were near able to move properly, he got his revenge. At least . . . the dagger that killed the men was being held in Lanz's hand, but it was not Lanz who had done the killings. No Lanz's mind had twisted so much in grief that a deeper, darker personality emerged. THIS man, Damian as he called himself [odd as his name means, "to kill"], was the one who stole Lanz's revenge with his own hands.

It was not long after Lanz was sent to Mass Eclipse . . .

Thankfully, because of his cleverness, Lanz has found some . . . "kinks" . . . in Mass Eclipse's structures which allowed him free contact to the outsde world and, on a lesser note, his personal dueling deck. Also with a favor from lady luck herself Lanz managed to escape location by starting a riot and damaging his tracker beyond usage. Since then he has remained hidden despite numerious attempts to capture him; he also has 0 DT, but honestly he doesn't think that'd be the top thing he'd have to worry about if he got captured. Hidding out in a secret bunker Lanz cintemplated escaping from Mass Eclipse, since he is still within the confineds of the prison.

[spoiler=Bio/Personality] Born into a middle class family young Robert had a condition. A near obsession with how things worked. He took to computers at an early age and could type faster than anyone in his class. So when he finished his assignments in his computer class he took to writing code. Pages and PAGES of it, By the time he was 19 he was writing complex webpages, running 20 or more tabs efficiently and creating devastating computer viruses and hacking in his free time under the codename "Jester" But of course his days of hacking and obliterating computers with crippling viruses were over when the Celestial Impetus knocked his door down.

Leaving his hive of Mountain Dew, Pizza and pin-ups of scantily clad women he now found an environment in Mass Eclipse. An environment he quickly learned how to "Hack" much like any computer he had done before. Learning the schedule down to milliseconds, Learning what cells got the best radio reception (if any), And how to keep the last peice of technology he had, a palm computer/PDA away from the prying eyes of the security cameras and guards. He's known as "The Hookup" amongst prisoners who know him. As he keeps himself alive not by his physical strength or stature. But rather his ability to get damn near anything a prisoner needed. At the very least past the front gate.

He is twitchy, talks really fast and fidgets when he isnt typing. By all means he is a weak individual who is easily bent to the will others at the threat of violence. However he knows his facts and heaven help you if you tell him he is wrong because he will pick your argument apart instantaneously, He is a low, self-serving, backstabbing, cunning and overall an incredible jackass to friend and foe alike. However he does have empathy for humans...maybe...somewhere.

[spoiler=Bio/Personality:]Lan didn't deserve to be into Mass Eclipse, he was pretty much backstabbed by a friend of his. Lan was hanging out with a few friends one night in August, when one of them said that they should have some fun. Everyone, including Lan headed towards a warehouse that had a bunch of TVs, refrigerators, and other electronic house appliances. They decided to start taking some of items there and vandalize the other half, but that's when the trouble started. The Mass Eclipse officers was heading towards the warehouse, about to make a few arrests. Everyone started heading out the back door of the warehouse and running away, with the officers close behind them. Lan and another friend of his made it away from the officers, but the rest of his crew didn't.

A few days later, Lan and his friend were trying to get away from the whole town. They ran towards the train station when they saw everyone staring at them and then saw the Mass Eclipse officers there. The two ran away, but they hit a dead end at an alley. Lan's friend told him he had a plan, but the plan was for only one person to get out of this situation. Unluckily for Lan...he wasn't the one to get out of this. His friend ran to the officers and lied straight to their faces and told them that Lan was the mastermind behind the whole operation and that he kidnapped him and was going to ransom for about $100 dollars. Lan was speechless when the officers believed his friend and then took him into custody. When they took him, he resisted arrest and then hit one of the officers to try and escape their grasp, but it wasn't successful. Now, in Mass Eclipse...he has no friends, no allies, and is pretty much alone.[/spoiler]

Spending most of her time with computers, she grew to become rather knowledgeable with them and eventually expanded that knowledge to most types of mechanics and electrical equipment. Despite her being a bit of a shut-in, she isn't unsociable and will greet and speak energetically with others, should she meet them, whether outside or on the internet.

This, along with her extensive knowledge, was eventually what led to her [s]incineration[/s] incarceration. Scouring the internet looking for a good read, she came upon a small chat group. Interested, she clicked and watched what was being typed. After a bunch of stuff was typed in about an unknown subject, Olivia noticed that someone was having trouble with some electronics. Being the sociable and knowledgeable person that she is, she joined the chat, though not to a warm welcome, and helped. Eventually, the small group accepted her and frequently asked for advice on mechanics and electronics and whatnot. One day, however, upon joining the chat room Olivia noted that nobody was on. Confused but accepting this, she began researching the internet for something to do when a loud banging was being heard at the door. Upon opening, a police officer, who had been sent to her house after inspecting a recent traffic collision due to them being the closest officer, presented her with an arrest warrant and took her into custody.

Apparently she had been helping a group of radicals who had been attempting to destroy the monarchy in Britain though a complicated usage of time-activated bombs throughout the city of London. Turns out that you shouldn't trust everyone over the internet.[/spoiler]

She often wears jeans and a sweater when appropriate, not caring for flashy outfits ever since being sentenced.
[spoiler=Bio/Personality]Nera had a pretty normal childhood, living under the watchful and caring eye of her parents. They oversaw her growth, and nurtured her creative abilities and talents in the field of computer technology, though they explicitly forbade her to play Duel Monsters. Of course, as a rebellious child she did so, and was able to enjoy it for the most part, until she learned about Celestial Impetus and how they use Duel Monsters in their criminal system. It was, for lack of a better work, disgusting. Her parents shared her sentiments, which was why they forbade her to play the game in the first place.

Fresh out of college with a business degree, Nera was a cheery young lady, always trying to find the bright side of any situation. All in all, not someone who would expect to find in a place like Mass Eclipse, right? Well, she could not get over how CI treated their prisoners. So she poked around a bit... okay, she poked around [I]alot[/I], but found nothing that would implicate them of any wrong-doing. She had built a small network of connections, so she began gathering information, alternating between online snooping, and real life sleuthing.

If she kept it to that, then perhaps her story would have gone off on a different tangent, perhaps with her rising through the ranks of a tech company. Instead, her dedication to the task of hunting CI payed off. ...She just didn't know it. She discovered something... but had no idea what she had stumbled upon was just that important, and the knoledge vanished into the recesses of her mind. CI, for what they were worth, knew what Nera was doing, and came and arrested her. With the programs found on her computer it was easy to convict her of cyberterrorism and had her sent away to the very place she hated, Mass Eclipse.

The events seemed to had made her bitter, though careful examination would show that she still has the tenacity and optimism of her past. Even now, she plans to not merely escape, but to take down Celestial Impetus and the prison that is Mass Eclipse. The task is surely too large for a single person to handle, but she has faith that Celestial Impetus will fall.[/spoiler]

No one can say where he came from. There is no record of him anywhere, anywhere at all. He suddenly appeared in the middle of a very restricted area. Naturally, he was found there and was questioned. He said his name, Mu Thusropy Wise, and the name was searched on databases. Nothing came up. He was questioned why he was there. He answered he was lost. He was questioned how he got into the restricted area. He was questioned many things. He didn't answer them at all. Officers decided to torture him for information, but all that came from him was a laugh and then he began to insult every officer that was at the scene with words, about their anything.

He was making them mad, so he would be able to escape. Unfortunately, things didn't work out the way he wanted them to. They were smarter than he had originally assumed. He was arrested at last, in suspicion of illegal activities in the area, and he didn't resist after his plan was foiled, although he did madly laugh. Officers think he thought it was a hopeless cause after his plan of escape failed. Somehow when he was in custody, he already knew how to duel without being taught by anyone. He said it was as natural to him as breathing. A lot of mystery surrounds him and officers are currently trying to find clues of his identity. He insists his name is Mu, though.

The truth is, his very existence is illegal, what with being an unauthorized clone being in suspended animation for quite a long time. His presence at the restricted area was because a never-before-used teleporter that will never-ever be released activated when an earthquake struck. The earthquake pretty much awakened Mu and activated the teleporter at the same time. Mu was teleported accidentally into the restricted area, and the entire laboratory was left behind to be destroyed completely by the earthquake. Psi Forozan is the name assigned to him, the last name being that of his creator. His creator was an experimenting scientist who invented things that he decided to keep for himself, and the original of Mu was just an unknown ordinary duelist back when duels were for children. Despite this, his personality is a lot different than his original's one is, just like how twins, despite looking the same, act different. He laughs when he or is opponent is defeated, laughs when all is hopeless, and will soon laugh when death is upon him, which would possibly be very soon, considering the fact that he has only one more Duel Token left. Also, unknown to officials, Mu is actually female, a woman, though she is doing expertly well to hide it, what with her short hair, boyish face, small breasts, and all.

Furthermore, he's fairly short compared to most other people in the prison, standing nearly exactly five feet. The only contrast he carries is that is doesn't suit the soft and gentle qualities due to the amount of muscle and sheer agility he poses, with his unique style of movement so awkward sometimes that it would be easy to simply say it is a part of him, rather than a trait of him.
[b]Bio/Personality[/b]:[spoiler='Bio'] As a young(er) man, Casimer was happy and cheerful, going to private schools and making his parents pround, like any "prince of the tops" would. He grew up in a wealthy environment, dulling his senses to the dangers of the world, and the true evils it held. Regardless, Casimer seemed to sport amazing luck, avoiding most childhood turbulence and speeding through life at a break-neck pace. -He was admitted to one of the world's best collages, and as a result, his downfall soon was set into motion. He, feeling that he could survive without his parent's aid, soon found life to be too difficult to handle. Living on his own was becoming impossible, and without a better source of income, he was sure to be unable to continue collage. This promopted his choice to join the military on a scholarship. -It was easy, two active years of protecting the country like a patriot, and a full ride for a chosen profession. Again, Casimer's amazing luck had saved him. He passed all criteria (Except height...) with high marks, being strong, fast, steady, and quick thinking. It wasn't long before he was deployed with a small group in Hawaii--More amazing luck. -This was the start of his end. While deployed in paradise, Casimer found there was little to do. He would hang out with his comrades and play card games (The kinds with face-cards, and spades) or watch TV. The combination of these two actions "broke" something in his mind. He looked up to a rare, televised Duel from Mass Eclipse while playing an Ace of Spades, just as a duelist played Dark Valkyria. He immediately passed out.... -In the infirmary, he was diagnosed with heat exhaustion, and told to take it easy. Truly, beyond a bump from hitting the table, Casimer was fine... but the lavender-skinned woman mocking him for fainting told Casimer otherwise. Form time to time, he would hear and see this woman with blackened steel wings, talking to him, and taunting him. The three days of rest were torture to him, as she came to him when his mind was most focused. -A month later, Casimer was hit by another "Dizzy spell", and fell weak(But not unconscious) while going through a training course. It was then he saw a "Vision" of Warrior-Type "Dueling Spirits". He was helped to the infirmary where he was allowed to sleep. While sleeping, he has dreams of these "Dueling spirits", chief among them being the Lavender-Skinned woman from before. Each time he slept afterward, the strange beings would come to him in his sleep and talk to him about "Duel Monsters". -At the time, he knew little of duel monsters, or their origins. He wasn't planing to, either. He had only recently become a man, after all! Yet, despite his rage against his visions, they grew, and grew, until he could see them even outside of his dreams. He would have full conversations with them, and talk with them about current events. Eventually, he began to believe these beings to be real. It was simply that he had to special ability to see ghosts, like on all those TV shows. Right? -Casimer's curiosity in these "ghosts" grew, especially since they insisted they were alive, and quite real. They even said other people used to know of them and speak to them too, back when Duel Monsters was a well-known and respected game. Casimer wanted to get closer to these beings and experience the seemingly bountiful world they had to offer. Afterall, he was young, and impressionable. The answer was simple, to see and interact with the duel spirits, Casimer had to go to prison. -A single shot in one of the less appreciated comrade's feet was enough to give him a dishonorable discharge, and a stern warning, and to top things off, a good brawl with his commanding officers was the icing to get him prison. Casimer sent himself to prison.... -When Casimer first arrived, he was lively and jovial. Unfortunately, that attitude was soon broken due to the harshness of the system. His amazing luck prevented a lot of hardships, but not nearly enough to prevent the young man from crumbling. For a time, he became an introvert, not speaking for an entire month unless it was necessary. Now, however, he's come to his senses that he came here for something greater than all the pain the world could give him. -At current, Casimer has been in prison for about four months. He hasn't gained or lost notoriety beyond the nickname "The General", a mockery of his crime, and "ability" to see and communicate with the Warrior spirits of his deck. Interestingly enough, she doesn't have a Duel Runner or a Duel Disk, at least in the usual sense. On the ground, she can generate a Duel Disk using strange light purple transparent surfaces, and for a Turbo Duel, her outfit wraps around her legs and transforms her lower half into a horse-like body. A platform similar to her "Duel Disk" appears in front of her as she gallops at speeds that can match a Duel Runner.

[b]Bio/Personality:[/b] Victoria is also not in any databases, though a DNA scan shows that she is the daughter of Jack and Carly Atlas, which is impossible considering that the "real" Victoria Atlas, a famous Turbo Duelist, has said that this Victoria is not her, even though DNA doesn't lie, and it seems to be natural. This Victoria has been taken here upon her own request, since her crime wasn't all that serious. Oddly enough, she has been more than compliant with the authorities. She doesn't even seem to be afraid of losing, especially considering that she only has a pulse when she wants to. She can even go without breathing for hours, like she isn't alive. Victoria is calm and reserved, unlike her boisterous and arrogant counterpart. She doesn't talk much, but she has a soft voice with a noticeable proper-sounding British accent, as opposed to the Australian accent her "father" has. However, despite her unnatural calmness and her politeness towards the authorities and anyone else, there is something about her that makes anyone around her uneasy. It's not only a feeling of dread and despair that emanates from her, but also like she is a nuclear warhead, and bad things will happen if you piss her off. So far, no one has dared to push her buttons...yet...

Ever hear the expression "born bad"? It has been usded to describe everyone from famous killers to the punk kid down the street by the daughter's cautious father. Well Lenz qualifies as that punk kid from down the street, though at the begining he wasn't such a bad guy at all. A normal kid like anyone else his age Lanz was a son, brother, student and well gifted duelist in his small town home. With no father and a mother constantly at work to pay off his sickly younger sister's medication. With his sisters illness having returned after doctors stated that it had completely recceded, there was no money for an effective treatment. However there was one group willing to fianance the sessions, a dark and shady group of course but natrually they wanted something- what shady group of folks don't?

In order to pay for his sister's treatments Lanz had to pay the debt off by doing "part time jobs" and did this without hesitation. For two years, from age 13 to 15, he worked diligently doing whatever he was told and did it well; accomplishing everything from 'Forgery' to 'Assault'. The only thing driving Lanz though was his desire to see his younger sister, who had been sent away for treatment by overseas perfessionals, and was always denied while being told "the medication causes her to be weary all the time, best not bother her." This continued unbelievably for four more years, each passing year causing Lanz to get more and more pressing with his requests to hear from his sister and mother; which, by the way, had been sent over with his sister as well. All the while he was told she was being given the best medical treatment in the world.

LIES! It was ALL LIES!!!

They had never truly meant to take care of his little sister. Instead Lanz had learned, by way of a guilt stricken nurse, that they men he had been vworking for had paid them only to keep her alive and not to actually treat her; thus extending his servitude. He heard from the nurse herself that his baby sister was only a town away and had died two years ago, when he was 17, and had requested to see him up until the moment she passed. Just as devistating was the knowledge that his mother had been in an "accident" which also claimed HER life. How ridiculous! How can anybody believe that she merely had fallen off of a roof only to vplumet to her death on the cold concrete below! It infuriated him so much all he could do was think about revenge . . .

And during a cold winters night he would attempt to get his revenge on the men who'd stolen his mother and sister away from him. During that night, when the wind bite at his nose, Lanz snuck back into the headquarters of his former employeers and made a lunge to kill them in their sleep. Yet, as fate would have it, he failed and was nearly beaten to death with a crow bar; the leaders of the orginization having learned of the preemptive assassination attempt. The beating mixed with the loss of his entire family must've caused something to snap deep within Lanz and, only a week after waking up and no were near able to move properly, he got his revenge. At least . . . the dagger that killed the men was being held in Lanz's hand, but it was not Lanz who had done the killings. No Lanz's mind had twisted so much in grief that a deeper, darker personality emerged. THIS man, Damian as he called himself [odd as his name means, "to kill"], was the one who stole Lanz's revenge with his own hands.

It was not long after Lanz was sent to Mass Eclipse . . .

Thankfully, because of his cleverness, Lanz has found some . . . "kinks" . . . in Mass Eclipse's structures which allowed him free contact to the outsde world and, on a lesser note, his personal dueling deck. Also with a favor from lady luck herself Lanz managed to escape location by starting a riot and damaging his tracker beyond usage. Since then he has remained hidden despite numerious attempts to capture him; he also has 0 DT, but honestly he doesn't think that'd be the top thing he'd have to worry about if he got captured. Hidding out in a secret bunker Lanz cintemplated escaping from Mass Eclipse, since he is still within the confineds of the prison.

He took to computers at an early age and could type faster than anyone in his class. So when he finished his assignments in his computer class he took to writing code. Pages and PAGES of it, By the time he was 19 he was writing complex webpages, running 20 or more tabs efficiently and creating devastating computer viruses and hacking in his free time under the codename "Jester" But of course his days of hacking and obliterating computers with crippling viruses were over when the Celestial Impetus knocked his door down.

Leaving his hive of Mountain Dew, Pizza and pin-ups of scantily clad women he now found an environment in Mass Eclipse. An environment he quickly learned how to "Hack" much like any computer he had done before. Learning the schedule down to milliseconds, Learning what cells got the best radio reception (if any), And how to keep the last peice of technology he had, a palm computer/PDA away from the prying eyes of the security cameras and guards. He's known as "The Hookup" amongst prisoners who know him. As he keeps himself alive not by his physical strength or stature. But rather his ability to get damn near anything a prisoner needed. At the very least past the front gate.

He is twitchy, talks really fast and fidgets when he isnt typing. By all means he is a weak individual who is easily bent to the will others at the threat of violence. However he knows his facts and heaven help you if you tell him he is wrong because he will pick your argument apart instantaneously, He is a low, self-serving, backstabbing, cunning and overall an incredible jackass to friend and foe alike. However he does have empathy for humans...maybe...somewhere.

Ever hear the expression "born bad"? It has been usded to describe everyone from famous killers to the punk kid down the street by the daughter's cautious father. Well Lenz qualifies as that punk kid from down the street, though at the begining he wasn't such a bad guy at all. A normal kid like anyone else his age Lanz was a son, brother, student and well gifted duelist in his small town home. With no father and a mother constantly at work to pay off his sickly younger sister's medication. With his sisters illness having returned after doctors stated that it had completely recceded, there was no money for an effective treatment. However there was one group willing to fianance the sessions, a dark and shady group of course but natrually they wanted something- what shady group of folks don't?

In order to pay for his sister's treatments Lanz had to pay the debt off by doing "part time jobs" and did this without hesitation. For two years, from age 13 to 15, he worked diligently doing whatever he was told and did it well; accomplishing everything from 'Forgery' to 'Assault'. The only thing driving Lanz though was his desire to see his younger sister, who had been sent away for treatment by overseas perfessionals, and was always denied while being told "the medication causes her to be weary all the time, best not bother her." This continued unbelievably for four more years, each passing year causing Lanz to get more and more pressing with his requests to hear from his sister and mother; which, by the way, had been sent over with his sister as well. All the while he was told she was being given the best medical treatment in the world.

LIES! It was ALL LIES!!!

They had never truly meant to take care of his little sister. Instead Lanz had learned, by way of a guilt stricken nurse, that they men he had been vworking for had paid them only to keep her alive and not to actually treat her; thus extending his servitude. He heard from the nurse herself that his baby sister was only a town away and had died two years ago, when he was 17, and had requested to see him up until the moment she passed. Just as devistating was the knowledge that his mother had been in an "accident" which also claimed HER life. How ridiculous! How can anybody believe that she merely had fallen off of a roof only to vplumet to her death on the cold concrete below! It infuriated him so much all he could do was think about revenge . . .

And during a cold winters night he would attempt to get his revenge on the men who'd stolen his mother and sister away from him. During that night, when the wind bite at his nose, Lanz snuck back into the headquarters of his former employeers and made a lunge to kill them in their sleep. Yet, as fate would have it, he failed and was nearly beaten to death with a crow bar; the leaders of the orginization having learned of the preemptive assassination attempt. The beating mixed with the loss of his entire family must've caused something to snap deep within Lanz and, only a week after waking up and no were near able to move properly, he got his revenge. At least . . . the dagger that killed the men was being held in Lanz's hand, but it was not Lanz who had done the killings. No Lanz's mind had twisted so much in grief that a deeper, darker personality emerged. THIS man, Damian as he called himself [odd as his name means, "to kill"], was the one who stole Lanz's revenge with his own hands.

It was not long after Lanz was sent to Mass Eclipse . . .

Thankfully, because of his cleverness, Lanz has found some . . . "kinks" . . . in Mass Eclipse's structures which allowed him free contact to the outsde world and, on a lesser note, his personal dueling deck. Also with a favor from lady luck herself Lanz managed to escape location by starting a riot and damaging his tracker beyond usage. Since then he has remained hidden despite numerious attempts to capture him; he also has 0 DT, but honestly he doesn't think that'd be the top thing he'd have to worry about if he got captured. Hidding out in a secret bunker Lanz cintemplated escaping from Mass Eclipse, since he is still within the confineds of the prison.

[spoiler=Bio/Personality:]Lan didn't deserve to be into Mass Eclipse, he was pretty much backstabbed by a friend of his. Lan was hanging out with a few friends one night in August, when one of them said that they should have some fun. Everyone, including Lan headed towards a warehouse that had a bunch of TVs, refrigerators, and other electronic house appliances. They decided to start taking some of items there and vandalize the other half, but that's when the trouble started. The Mass Eclipse officers was heading towards the warehouse, about to make a few arrests. Everyone started heading out the back door of the warehouse and running away, with the officers close behind them. Lan and another friend of his made it away from the officers, but the rest of his crew didn't.

A few days later, Lan and his friend were trying to get away from the whole town. They ran towards the train station when they saw everyone staring at them and then saw the Mass Eclipse officers there. The two ran away, but they hit a dead end at an alley. Lan's friend told him he had a plan, but the plan was for only one person to get out of this situation. Unluckily for Lan...he wasn't the one to get out of this. His friend ran to the officers and lied straight to their faces and told them that Lan was the mastermind behind the whole operation and that he kidnapped him and was going to ransom for about $100 dollars. Lan was speechless when the officers believed his friend and then took him into custody. When they took him, he resisted arrest and then hit one of the officers to try and escape their grasp, but it wasn't successful. Now, in Mass Eclipse...he has no friends, no allies, and is pretty much alone.[/spoiler]
